All 3 versions downloaded on mega (3; 2.66; 2.65) contain the virus. My PC regularly extremely lagging on the Internet by ~24+ hours after power-up, but after the program was uninstalled everything went fine.
How did you "install" and "deinstall" program that doesn't have installer and deinstaller? Did just fact that it sat in some directory made your PC lagging?

Btw, I think I found a bit of reason why Hynix on Gigabyte RX560 don't OC too well: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F2.pik.vn%2F2017df282ec4-043f-44c3-8ebc-e368da704941.jpg&t=663&c=BjA0SwgM_oAxlw) R0 version of that hynix chip seems to be 6GHz version, so on stock frequency its actually already overclocked, for 7GHz it should be T2 version If anyone else took photo of their ram chips and have T2 version, please post picture and card type here

How you OC, and what ATI driver you use
I am using polaris bios editor to copy 1500 mem strap all the way down to 2000 as one rom and then I create another rom copying 1750 down to 2000. I then use atiflash as admin via the command prompt to flash those roms. Of course I restart after each rom. I've already patched the drivers so they are recognized by windows. Then I will see if I can add more hashing power by making adjustments in MSI Afterburner. you can also use mining-ready operating systems as simpleminingOS or ethosdistro. in these systems OC is easier than windows.
I've tried simplemining os and it doesn't overclock for me. If you're using latest 17.7.2 driver, you can only OC through wattman or latest beta afterburner (4.4 15 or something like that) Also, using 1500 strap could be too aggressive

Haha. I dont think there is any use in mining with rx 580 560 or any version like this. These are very week gpu in the industry. You can try any miner from 710 gtx onwards to get most of the profits from the pools. The thing is 580 and 560 are not capable of generating the atmost hashrate. The heating is too much and the design is not moderate for cooling down the heat. Anyway thats my point of view. but i wont prefer them.
You probably missed all the hype last half a year...did you do tour in Afghanistan or Iraq maybe?

Did anyone manage to get memory errors in hwinfo on cards based on micron memory?
My cards always restart/BSOD before any errors show up, leading me to conclusion that either micron memory don't report errors or controller can't read them from micron, or hwinfo doesn't support reading errors from micron
Hynix based cards behave normal

In the archive only exe there is no file readme how to configure the launch. Where to look for information about the launch. How much time should I spend? Why you can not put an archive file with an example like this makes claymore.
Просто запусти экзешник,майнер просканирует систему и создаст файл конфига.Выруби майнер и отредактируй настройки. Запуск не через батник,а через экзе Ovo je slaba pomoć ako čovjek nije Rus ili možda Ukrajinac

and myr-groestl ? how much ? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This was meant as place where people would contribute their rates, so please go test and tell us... I'm currently reading micron documentation hoping to reach that mythical 16MH/s ETH ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Minerscott, is that you again? I'll buy your bios once you reach 40MH/s with rx560

8.85MH/s signatum with prospector miner

|
8.85MH/s on RX560 compared to 8.3 on sgminer...when you take away 2% fee, about 5% faster...hope theres still more room for improvement...and buy some AMD cards soon, as you have more room to colelct your fees there, because ccminer for Nvidias seem to be highly optimized already

Much appreciated for sharing! Was your card with the 6pin or without? Your mod was the first to actually give my MSI Aero ITX (Hynix with no 6pin) a solid boost. All the others I've tried seemed to just bump me up around 1Mh/s or actually drop my hash rate. With your mod I went from ~10.9 to ~14.3. BUT it soon crashes afterwards, so just unsure if I need to try and feed it more power limit, or try and drop the mem clock a bit... Or totally avoid trying to use your bios (hopefully not haha). What I took from your bios was copying 1500 strap upwards, and copying your max mem freq of 2250. The rest of our #s seemed to line up. In my quick troubleshooting so far I had tried bumping power limit to 20%, and then 50%, and then max 75%, but all still result in crashing. And since those attempts failed, I'm assuming that means you have the 6pin power ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) So certainly not looking for you troubleshoot, but if you had any suggestions for my course of action I'd be extra thankful. Really not skilled with modding the bios besides copy/paste, so even just hearing a simple "it wont work regardless" would be beneficial. Anyways, thanks again for sharing! download https://www.hwinfo.com/download.phprun it and start your mining with low clock (1900MHz or something) and track memory errors in hwinfo raise your frequency until errors show up congratulations, you found max safe clock that won't crash your card ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

So, I paid for (.3 ETH) the modified 560 bios that minerscott posted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2024062.msg%msg_id%He assured me that it would work for my XFX single fan 560 (hynix). I repeated the same steps I've used multiple times with other cards - and his supplied bios file rendered the GPU inoperable (in both Windows and EthOS). He assured me that I just needed to try again, which I did, with the same result. It ended up being a lot of frustration just trying to get the cards working again. He was very nice (we've got probably 20x emails back and forth), and gave me a different bios to try, which also failed. He then went unresponsive and it has been a week since he has emailed me. I'm out the ETH and have my GPU's plodding along at roughly 12/Mh, thanks to a free bios somebody posted elsewhere. If anybody has a link to better version I'd love to have it. I'm not going to rule out that life simply got in the way, so if you're reading this Scott, I'm happy to listen to an explanation and will take this down if you can either supply a working bios or refund my payment. This is basically my only option at this point. Not looking for sympathy - I clearly should have invested the time into figuring this out myself. Looked for an easy way out and paid for it. Won't be paying for bios files anymore. Experinced the very same situation with that guy. Extremly polite at the begining, then it turned out that the bios is crappy and he disaaperared. Gave him a chance to reply for a long period, but nothing, so don't buy anything from him. I must admit he had a pretty good business model ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

How to disable monero mining?
Edit the config.json file, changing "enabled" in "cpu" from true to false. did that thanks. How to chose between GPU algos? I currently deleted address from all other coins and left only SIGT so it mines just that. What is more important for SIGT mining Core or Memory speed any advices for rx 470 or rx 480? Core...at least in default miner, don't see reason this one to be different
