4101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 17, 2020, 08:06:36 PM
Altcoins may not be dynamic in the previous days however I accept when bitcoin goes on a bull pattern, altcoins will follow so exchanging with altcoins can even now be productive yet yes ensure you have Bitcoin on your property. You will lose exchange will rely upon the ability of the dealer and the interest of the market.

Having more better understanding is very needed in this phase of investment, alts will have it's own bull mostly after bitcoin does, if you really support

the project that you are holding right now  the chance of keep holding may be better than trying to trade it up with lower value, instead better to buy

more and wait when the market start to pull over again and bring much higher interest.
Its a gamble in most cases because not all would really be having that kind of risk management level where they can just accumulate into those coins on where they do
believe that it would really pump in near future or when the market shifted out to altcoins after bitcoin had been done. Its not really that trading alts will really mean up
loss yet this will be talking on less volatility yet majority now is on bitcoin and doesnt focusing on some alts which are mostly on the bottom line excluding those top
alts that we had in the market where volatility and price movement is still present in spite of the market condition at the moment.
4102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just poked that GUY on: November 17, 2020, 07:08:13 PM
A few months back, when BTC dumped to nearly $3200 (or it is $3800) at the beginning of the corona outbreak, a guy from my local who is now living in UK had posted in his facebook that "This is the end of bitcoin. I knew it has to be someday, there it is." I had nothing to say other than asking him to do his homework before doing such speculation. Well, I just have remembered that post and spent a few minutes to find that post and poked him the screenshot of 1 BTC equals to $16602. Guess his feeling now  Grin

How about now? Its 17550 as of this writing on Preev.com. Asking out on what would be his feeling at the moment? and that would really be that regret on missing out that he hadnt accumulate
wayback when bitcoin was still on 3k value.Well people cant really avoid to give out those emotional kind of reaction when everything is on deep reds.Even myself can say in bitcoin that time
where i do even believe that it will go below down 1k which is understandable that fear will really be overcoming on us but for those who do take the risk then those people who would really be making
money at the moment.

I havent poked up someone but i have seen lots of them saying  that bitcoin is dead on that time and when bitcoin did hit 10k then they do changed up their minds
and how much more that we are almost hitting that 20k ATH?
4103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of a bounty manager. on: November 17, 2020, 11:31:58 AM

There are lots of member busy on catching those who abused the principles at Scam Accusations thread.
Most of those cheaters have been caught and reported on Reputation thread, not scam accusation. Scam accusation is needed when the project turned to scam and ran away with their ICO/IEO/Defi money.

I don't want to blame the bounty manager because a project will be a success or a failure there is nothing for the bounty manager to do.
Managers MUST do some little research first before he accepting the project they want managed. At least, escrow the bounty funds to them or trusted escrower.
In fact, professional manager always do more research on a project. so many times the manager idea is wrong, so there is nothing wrong with the manager. If the ICO/IEO of a project goes to fails then there is no mistake of bounty manager. Also at this time almost all the projects are cheating and scamming where many managers are not willing to manage the bounty at this time.

Thats why its important to choose the known managers rather than taking a risk on joining those managers which arent known or newbie or been part of the team itself.
There are lots of manager of this forum had stopped nor get calm on getting or taking projects because of lots of scam that do happen even up to these years.
Bounty hunters should really be careful on choosing which and what project they should advertise and if managers have done their job well then its not really that
right for them to get blamed if the project didnt pay in the end yet they are the main ones who arent being paid since they are just employees too on the said
project.

4105  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-11-16] $2.3 billion in BTC was withdrawn from exchanges in a month on: November 16, 2020, 11:16:04 PM
Simply supply and demand driving bitcoin to the new level.
No wonder Bitcoin is bullish these days, institutional-investors actually consistently invest in bitcoins into their reserve that pushes the price to this point.
if the bitcoin-holders position remains positive bitcoin may break the resistance of $16,9k mark within hours, it could extend to above $17k before finding a significant resistance.
Is there some significant resistance at the moment? yet bitcoins price tends to break those resistances every now and then thats why im barely checking out some technicals
at the moment due to this very reason. Its totally unpredictable at the moment and still have lots of question on what is the next possible resistance and we do always presume
with that +-1000 thresold neither on being a resistance or a support. For the topic about this big amount being withdrawn? This isnt something new specially when the market
tends to be bullish then expect for this numbers.
4106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: November 16, 2020, 07:33:10 PM
Bitcoin needs more women is a wrong statement if you permit me to say that, bitcoin did not depend on women, so why using such statements? What bitcoin needs are people, it can be men or women, irrespective of the gender. But, let us put it this way, that women needs bitcoin, also everybody needs bitcoin, because the price will still rise higher, making better future for bitcoin. The bitcoin better future will reflect into people investing in it, women included. Also, just know that more women are investing in bitcoin, especially in 2020.

What the poster wanted to achieve is that more women should come in and show interest in bitcoin and not that kind of needing bitcoin per se. It is interest thing. But following the reasoning of the poster will mean making a gender statement which I find distasteful. Everything we do must not be about gender equality and so men and women should not be seen to be in competition everytime. Let those who have genuine reasons for doing something do them.
You cant stop this kind of mentality on where there always an issue about gender equality when it comes to things that have been doing by someone.
Gender would always be in question and would be on the talks which it doesnt really needed here on bitcoin or crypto market because it doesnt really
care on who would be the one do tend to engage with it.It doesnt need to have more men nor women yet everyone can freely choose as long they
do know on what theyve been doing.
4107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 11:47:30 PM
As per CryptoWhale:
https://twitter.com/CryptoWhale/status/1327049480483508225

Really ironic and comedy to most, but this is the reality. At $3800, people are still not buying and looking for more dip, and majority are shouting that it is the end of bitcoin.

Fast track to November, the opportunity to scoop cheap bitcoin is no longer present, and yet everyone wanted to join the bandwagon and extremely bullish to even predict a six digits as the next all time high.
Is this something new? Its always been part of the reality where people would really be in deep doubts when the price is almost on the floor where we become too emotional.
We would really be giving out those bearish sentiments like "bitcoin is dead".,"bitcoin goes to 100,1000 or lower". Its part of human nature to have fear but for those people
who do see it as an opportunity will surely buy those cheap coins and look at now? Theyve been gaining some good amounts of their investment which it didnt really that last long
because it did rise on this year which i would say that it is a worth risk to take.

4108  Economy / Securities / Re: im looking for partner who will invest on: November 15, 2020, 10:56:40 PM

why you call me scammer???
i dont like this !!

what kind of welcoming is this ?   im new coming here and you label me as a scammer?

what kind of motivation i still have here to do anyhting?

you give bad vibes just for no reason.

If you will just come here and post offer like this, you are not welcome here, it's not your right to be here, we are given privilege to post here and stay here, so if you are going to offer something that is likely a scam you will get tag and ban here, you have to prove yourself worthy to be here by making this forum free from scammers and spammers which you are acting like one.

Scam???

Fuck you!!

If you not interested you think you old Here can talk like boss???
Men I dont let anyone to talk me like that!!
I always keep my reputation good!

Fuck off from my thread!!

Instead of acting some shit here better feed those people criticize you with a good proof that you can sustain your offer here, since actually many scammers use that trading modus to scam people so you cannot blame people to doubt about this and have some nasty words against you.

So if you are true maybe show your trading results and let the people judge about that thing.

How to show??

Show proofs not only on account statistic but also screenshot of daily trades that you do really earn 30-40% daily.

Its just hard to believe that someone having this kind of gains on daily basis do still ask out for some funding if he can actually make his money
big on a period of time by just continous trading in no time.

For sure no one would really fund you up since this had been a common scamming attempt specially on newbie accounts.
4109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 15, 2020, 08:13:22 PM

Now gambling in China is Illegal so according to them if anyone from China is engaging in Gambling online overseas even the online casinos might be held accountable.  But I think some casinos might be bypassed by using VPN.

Shouldn't the Chinese authorities in lieu of the statement where they say that they are illegally transporting trillions of yuan's online , make the gambling legal and make sure to have well established rules instead of putting a hand out on the whole industry ?

Plus if people wants to engage it's their personal preference not the fault of the on-line crypto casinos.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/chinese-govt-official-gambling-gangs-use-crypto-to-transfer-funds-abroad/amp

You know China is a communist country which they dont really like anything that will really be violating up into the rules that had been set.

So youre saying that they should legalized Gambling? Its up to their own jurisdiction and minding about taxation then they dont even need that knowing that theyre already feasible in terms of
development and progress.

Its no surprise that crypto would always took the blame when it is tag up with illegal doing of activities which it isnt really that something new
yet this had been an issue ever since when it comes to untraceable transactions.
4110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 15, 2020, 07:18:47 PM
Most of us have the same mistakes like what you did, I started to make investment in altcoins in the first quarter of that year and I really made huge gains but I didn't yet sell it because of greed and also because one of the factors that you said where my fellow investors are also holding. When the dump happened, of course there is still fear and uncertainties that I felt but my hope and my faith are so strong wherein I really believed that it can recover but sadly it didn't happen and it was one of my regrettable experience. Holding are not applicable to all cryptocurrencies, just do HODL in a coin that have potential and also have high market capitalization.

To add to your interesting comment...

In crypto market,  bull movements are the work of whale that want pump to create artificial increase in price thereafter they dump which always leave the street very very bloody.

Watch pumping tendencies and quickly cash out.
As usual and it is not something new yet we do all know on how whales move but all of these are on unpredictable manner. There are still people who do took the gamble
on buying some alts which they do seem worth for them to hold and might able to make some huge profits later on when this alt will be pumped selectively.

Holding on something cant really be called fools because we cant make such decision on choosing it and throw some funds on it if we dont believe on it.
Neither you do believe on someone calls or recommendation thats why you do buy then thats the time i do consider a foolish step to take.
Dont ever tend to listen to others suggestion and always stick up with your own.

4112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 14, 2020, 12:16:27 PM
Get ready fellas, it looks like 2021 will be the year we've been waiting for since 2017, PayPal CEO, Dan Schulman, disclosed its clients are signing up to be the first to use the company’s crypto services at an alarming rate. PayPal has started to permit 10% of its customer base to buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. What do you think will start happening from here on ? Huge adoption

We cant be sure but this one is much better compared into that year 2017 when it comes to adoption level yet we can say that the price wont really be crashed that badly or somewhat
this isnt a bubble type of market yet we know that adoption is on different level now..

For now the best thing to do is to wait up on what would happen next for this year but we shouldnt anticipate that much because we cant be sure if this one will really be heading towards that 2017 situation.

The important thing is to those people who do invest do know on what they've been doing in terms to their investment.
4113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitter accounts of crypto gambling sites on: November 13, 2020, 11:39:18 PM
But why not all indicate their social media accounts?

What do you mean?

There should be a link on their official ANN thread or on their official website.  Sometimes, mostly seen at the Contact Us section or links can be found at the bottom page as a display icon.

What are those sites as examples?

When you do look at on op then there are really gambling sites that doesnt have social media accounts.

fortunetowin.com
777.coin.com
btb88.com
Tower.bet
Blackjack.fun

Some of them might not really considering on opening Twitter but instead focusing on discord or other messaging app
or just in on-site support or chat.

The website is good, looking at the sport bet option, I thought it might be real sports betting, but soon I realized it was a virtual game. Since it is a new site, I think it would be nice to have some free money or giveaway to check out the games. One more thing, do you have any country restrictions on your gambling website?

Try to read up their Terms and Conditions: Its stated;

• Users from the following countries and their territories ("Restricted Countries") are not allowed to deposit and play real money games: United States of America, United Kingdom, Spain, France and its overseas territories (Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion, Mayotte, St. Martin, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna, New Caledonia), Netherlands, Israel, Lithuania, Slovakia, Dutch West Indies and Curacao.
4115  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: November 12, 2020, 09:36:33 PM
I also often wonder why there are such high fees. The only thing I can think of is that they work with certain companies that also want to ask for a commission.
And as for the bitcoin, that could also be, only you have the network costs. They are not capitals either, but still. If a casino had to cover the network costs of all payouts, it will be expensive.
Some casino's do, and some do not.

Only a few online casinos does offer free withdrawal fees and when the time comes where network is clogged up then they would really need to impose huge or bigger fees
unless if the do stick out on less then that withdrawal would take more longer and that will surely frustrate those users who are on that platform unlike for those who set
out fees which are dynamic ones then its expected that it will really be correlate on the current network congestion this is why i do really skip on making withdrawals or
even transactions neither on gambling or trading when this do happen.I do wait up for the network to relax a bit before proceeding.
4116  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Exaggerated Fee on blockchain ($134) on: November 12, 2020, 07:27:00 PM
-snip- From what I can tell is that they either grab it from another source or calculate it from the last few blocks with priority on the last block.
Is it about blockchain.com?
Yes? Their fee rate is based on their own api, you can check it in action here: https://api.blockchain.info/mempool/fees
Those are the same result that the "send" window will show you for 'regular' and 'priority' fee rates.

And the priority fee (even regular) is indeed an overestimation.

The estimated fee for electrum right now is 62 sats/byte although less than 6K unconfirmed transactions on the mempool.
Look at the mempool, 95% of them set the fee at 1-6 sats/byte and 2% pay 109-114 sats/byte, most likely wallet's automated fee.
The way of the wallet's suggesting a suitable fee based on fee market conditions, if all the transactions pay the same amount, the wallet should be able to adjust to cheaper fees, but if there are some people who pay higher fees, then the wallet's API will calculate overestimate fees based on 'min-max-regular-priority'.
Im no in confidence on putting up 1-6 sats/byte per transaction due to im really that afraid for some transactions get stuck. At the moment i had
used electrum and used up 30 sats/byte which is lower on the 62 bytes of yours but getting some confirmation isnt really that too long.
Its just there are people who do pay more even though the mempool isnt already clogged anymore.I agree into the word about adjustments
basing of on mi max regular priority API.
4117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling = just for fun or an investment method? on: November 12, 2020, 05:59:29 PM
gambling to me is purely for the profits and how to win my bet to maximize my investment, but again I know gambling in most cases does not have any thing to do with luck rather it has lots to do with high level of expertise.
If gambling does not have luck concerning proper agenda's of betting and excellent experience via prediction or game booking, so how come people predict game and win, from my perspective before someone win a game the person most know how to predict game and most have basic knowledge of prediction couple with good luck which attract winning success. In terms of profit and no profit in gambling, it's like entrepreneur who is a risk taker, before adventuring into gambling you most consider two things which is involves lost and profit.
And that lost and profit frequency is much more higher compared into those traditional business that you do know and thats what make them different and if someone who had been on investment world and decided
to touch his foot on the land or area of gambling then he should prepare his self that it wont really be that similar on what he had been used before. As a entrepreneur you would really need that gambling like mind
but of course it will correspond or been back up with proper planning and considerations before making any step because you wont able to reach up success if you wont take any further step ahead by means of risking out.
I agree on some points by other members that you can differentiate the two even there are similarities but its totally different comparing gambling itself and a investment.
4118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain extends warranty period on all new orders on: November 11, 2020, 09:42:57 PM
If they provide repair/replacement without returning it to China.
If they do it quickly. Under 3 weeks
Then it would be really good.
How would they provide repair/replacement outside of China? One way is to open repair service centres in different countries and cities but I don't know how beneficial it can be to their business, even think that it will be a lot of expense for them. And replacement without returning it to China seems impossible right now. For these, they need to radically change their logistics, sales and at some point, business structure.
Btw returning it to China, especially right now, means that once your antminer needs repair, you are in stuck.
One of the hindrance on why i do let myself skipped out on mining activity due to this kind of reason about warranty yet shipping cost would always
be not cheap specially if you are on a far country to China. If they do said about free shipping which had SFR mentioned above then thats quite still in doubt.
Extending the warranty period from 6 months to 12 months well its good for locals or nearby but for those on other countries then it wouldnt really be that something interesting.
Putting up service centers? possible but depending if they do saw that a particular country have lots of miners.
4119  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: VPN regulations on: November 11, 2020, 08:26:07 PM
There are so many VPN services and many traders use them to hide their residence country so they can use certain crypto-exchange or some other platform which prohibits some countries resindents from participation(which is very unfair in my opinion). I'm pretty sure the authorities in every country are pretty aware of it but still allow VPN services to carry on. Even in China you can use VPN and visit any webiste.
Why do they allow VPN's? Maybe it's just useless and authorities are able to identify user's location anyway but it marks those who use VPN and place them in some database.

When it comes to total restriction then its quite true that we cant get rid of those users who do really tend to bypass and make use of VPN.
This is why other platforms doesnt really care that much if there were users that using up VPN. About storing on other database then we cant say such thing
but neither they might or might not able to consider on listing out those users but eventually they might be taking some measures incase if they
would be checked out by authority or that.

I played the jammin jars slot a few times, but when playing this slot it seems heavy so that every 3-5 spins the screen will load
Has anyone experienced the same thing? especially when playing on roobet.
<snip>
If it is the case, then the heavy load can be due to the use of VPN, usually VPN gives us slower connection.<snip>
Aside from possibility that VPN, affects the loading negatively because of slower connection(sometimes), is his browser.
I'm not sure but I think some slots are better to be played on a particular browser...
OP, try using other browser. Clearing the cache of your browser also maybe could help.
Try closing other tabs too.
It can really be possibly into those 2 different reasons and indeed VPN do really have slower connection but as mentioned above where there are paid ones which is better but
not really that great when you are in direct into your own ISP. Browser can be also a culprit too thats why when i do opening these kind of windows on particular slot games
then i do make use of Chrome or Brave.
