5081  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS BITCOIN BUBBLE OR NOT? on: November 16, 2017, 10:18:18 PM
The price of BITCOIN went down to and extent today. What is your take on Bitcoin been bubble or not?

There had been many definition of a bubble. Honestly speaking, Bitcoin can also be a bubble since there is that sudden surge in price and it is still expanding right now. The next question is this: Will it pop anytime of the day and people will lost the money they invested into it? Nothing can be sure of what would be but I do personally believe that because Bitcoin has a correction mechanism it can be able to avoid the "pop" and can one day reach a very high value...astronomical surge as they say. By the way, bubble can happen to anything and this should not be attached solely to Bitcoin.
People have different perceptions regarding on this matter which some would see that bitcoin is a bubble and some would say no its not but in my own side i would go 50-50 on both ways because there are really times that i can treat it as a bubble when it comes into its sudden price inflations and deflation which it do really depend on a significant event which do somehow turns out to be manipulated or being destined to be done. Not a bubble in the part that bitcoin is a volatile thing which prices do normally corrects after a sudden price increase.
5082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: November 16, 2017, 09:35:17 PM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
Some of them would able to live without bitcoins existence specially into those coins which can be trade directly with fiat itself like USD.They would able to survive or stand on their own feet even there would be no bitcoins but come to think that this would really be an opportunity to alts too get the spot on where bitcoin have left to. If bitcoin dies then it will really leave a big impact into crytpocurrency prices  but this thing wont easily happen if we do try to see the interest of community on bitcoin its hardly for it to get die easily.
5083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the hell ! Please everybody look at prices before buying BCC !! on: November 16, 2017, 07:09:28 PM
not always the market situation is good, see now its price has decreased and I think bitcoin cash will continue to fall until the beginning of the year.
The hype is already over and now people are moving out somewhere else with their profits and for those people who did bought on peak prices would really suffer loses as of now. Sudden pump on BCH is surprising which people do decide that they would buy it but i assume it is connected on b2x fork cancelation which they tend to divert their attention into the past fork coin of bitcoin.
5084  Economy / Economics / Re: who own the world's biggest bitcoin wallet? on: November 16, 2017, 06:39:10 PM
I think NBI are holding the biggest bitcoin so far, coz  what happened to Mt. GOX Although 200,000 bitcoins have since been "found", the reasons for the disappearance—theft, fraud, mismanagement, or a combination of these—were initially unclear
I do suspect the same thing too which NBI do hold up large amounts of bitcoin as of now and for sure they are keeping it and dont expose into public into those holdings since that amounts is already huge considering on the price of a whole bitcoin as of now.I dont even think that satoshi holds up large amount but who knows? and even on second one no one really knows who holds them and whose the one who posses it because of anonymity of bitcoin these kind of questions would really remain unanswered.
5085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long is the Bitcoin's life for you? on: November 16, 2017, 05:43:37 PM
Can altcoins set up their own systems and beat bitcoins?
I do not think that an alt that can beat bitcoin has been created yet, alts will be able to create their own ecosystem and are going to be good investments if you are able to choose the right one, but bitcoin is still the number one coin and it seems this is going to continue for a very long time, only a coin that is superior to bitcoin in all aspects and it is able to generate enough hype will be able to surpass it.
Bitcoin would really remain as the King no matter what we do know its one of its kind and those altcoins are just next to it which means surpassing bitcoin or replacing it into its top place would really be a challenge on each coin developer but its not really impossible thing because nothing on this world that cant be replaced which means its really possible but on slim chances for sure because if we do try to see the community of bitcoin it is huge compared to alts which we can normally see on its value which coin have been supported stronger.
5086  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why people fear about BITCOIN on: November 16, 2017, 04:44:51 PM
Because, bitcoin is still facing questions surrounding its legitimacy and security. As investors and adopters fear a major government taking decisive action against the currency, any signs that government figures are considering regulation can impact its price.
Its one of the reasons but i would say the main thing why do people is afraid because of its volatile price and they cant able to use it on offline shops just like what we are doing on our local fiats. There are lots actually which as you said security and legitimacy is still on question. This is why for those people who do decide to risk into bitcoin have experienced rewards because of the earning opportunity do it had. We should not really fear on investing on bitcoin because it does really have the potential but we must be sure on investing the amounts that we can afford to lose up.
5087  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to join signature bounty? on: November 16, 2017, 04:06:29 PM
Hello there! I am going to take part in signature bounty campaign for the first time. Unfortunately, I can't understand how to use their avatar and special link to their website with all posts from my profile.   Huh

First of all you need a good rank position like Sr member. You will find some signature campaign in service section. But before apply make sure that campaign have free spots for your rank.In the mean time you must read the rules carefully and wear signature according your rank. Then you have to check campaign managers reply, if you are accepted then you can start posting.Signature campaign is a reward for the participants for the contribution on this forum. So I will request you to not take it professionally.
There are actually camps that do accept Jr. members above specially on bounty alt campaigns which they do allow low ranks compared on btc weekly campaign which they do impose strict compliance when it comes to rank to avoid spamming. First off on the question on putting up avatar and signature would really be found on your profile settings which you can find it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=XXXXXX;sa=forumProfile ... "X" signifies your UserI which you can find already or read up the signature space. Just copy the codes given by the camp and just choose up the signature approriate for your rank.
5088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: November 16, 2017, 03:43:05 PM
Whoever managed to short BTC when it was trading at about eight thousand must have made a real killing out of it. People are only going long and expect to see always gain, while they forget that they can short the market as well and make money while the value is dropping. Instead of investing your money to ETH, just short it, you'll make just as much money as re-investing your money somewhere else. That's if you're a trader. If you're investing you should already have a lot of ETH stakced and shouldn't wait for forks to happen so that you buy ETH. If you're in it for the long-term you better buy some ETH and stick to it, it doesn't make sense to jump from one coin to another if you are a long-term investor.

I mine some ETH and I will keep them for the long  term.

I'm plannin to follow the same way, I'll build a mining rig for ETH mining but they said ETH will pass to POS system. This would be bad. Otherwise, its mining would be really nice for long term investors.
Better to pass up if you do plan on small scale ETH mining rig because it wont really be worth of for sure but those rigs you would made can be used on other coins though. It is really pain in the eyes to see how many percentage do difficulty jump on a short period of time which means it would really give less profits overtime but well if you do have the plans because on its potential then mining it and keeping it for longterm is also a good choice too.Price of ETH did decrease in previous weeks but now it is already kicking in.
5089  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 16, 2017, 03:15:10 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

For me yes it is, but I think due to the fact that this is a very accessible system which will make usq profitable in short period of time I think all of the forum users will demand for the increase of its value since it will soon store a huge numbers of user in which may help to increase the value of each bitcoin.
The thing is that the innovation would become popular, and people would see bitcoin mostly for what it is and not just as an asset. Maybe by now the government knowing the value can be controlled could have even started adopting it a long time ago.

However, the asset features due to demand and the fact that it cannot be controlled is what makes it more valuable and you cannot have that without having high volatility which to ma has made it more popular in a short term most especially due to the high inflation we have been experiencing all these while.
I don’t really think that Bitcoin will still be needed by most people if the price rate becomes stable, cause the main reason we all are here is to earn money by investing into and waiting for its price to either go up or down. About 90% of the people in the world doesn’t like Bitcoin, I’m sure of that, and we that loves and cherish it are doing so just because of the money we are earning from it. So if it becomes stable, who would still be interested? No one. Although some people will remain, some would definitely give up.
Most of people will really leave out into another coin which do have an unstable price because if bitcoins price comes to a point when it becomes stable then it would really be just like fiat money itself which means investors or traders will really jump out in the ship and find another one because when the price is stable which means we cant really make money out of it specially if we are a trader but talking into this situation regarding price stability on bitcoin would rather somehow an impossible thing to happen. It will remain unstable and volatile which is really a perfect spot on making money.
5090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get started? on: November 16, 2017, 02:50:41 PM
When Im new before in trading, I read a lot even here in forum there are a lot of information could really help us about trading. Also, watch videos and read and read these will really help throughout in gaining profit.

5092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good project? on: November 14, 2017, 04:25:19 PM
You can first look at ICO websites:
http://icorating.com/
https://tokenmarket.net/blockchain/all-assets
https://picoloresearch.com/upcoming

It will help you at first spets to understand what is going in ICO!

Thank you for this information. I found them very useful.

These websites write ICO rankings for money. The more you pay the better ranking you get. They even give a high rank to shitty scams like Paragon coin ICO.
Do your own research! If you are not ready to spend dozens of hours to investigate the project - you are going to gamble. If you want smart investment - be smart and research!
This is true which i dont really trust up some review or ranking sites because if you do have the money you can really manipulate the ranks and we do all know sites would really put you in the list as long the developer or owner do have the money to put on just to show to public that a certain project do have a good ranking which people do easily invest because they do see that it is on top but the truth is they are just being decieved. The solid thing you should see is the actual number of people in the community who do support such coin or project and not just being hyped up. Better to avoid those things.
5093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My MEW account had been HACK on: November 12, 2017, 06:00:27 PM
I dont know how it Happen.. but one thing I remember... I tried to study etherdelta trading.. and in etherdelta trading... you will enter your MEW and your private key...
This is the biggest mistake you have done. Why putting your private keys there when that's not even trusted site, there are too many issues and report about etherdelta as a shit exchange but you still... Giving private keys to any untrusted platform is likely giving your money to them and let them handle your funds.
Anyway, you cant take your funds back IMO. Thanks for posting here so people can know about this issue or if someone experienced this before.

It happened to me too, when I opened my email  I read there that my etherdelta account was logged in in different IP address, and it says there I should enable now the  2fa code, so I followed what is said on the email, I click the link and put the info of my wallet and the private key and click send, until to my surprise I was shocked OH know! what the H*ck! What have I done why I put my private key info... I quickly transfer some of my token ,, but not all because I dont have any fund for the gas fee,, the following day I checked my wallet again,, the hacker shopped happily all my potential tokens hhehehe

Is thier posible to trace and track that hacker??

And Make freeze there account???
First of all,sad to hear that you lost all of those coins which i do see some of them do  really have some good value if you do try to sell them on their current price and answering on the thing you are asking on here.Theres no way that you can track the hacker. Yes, you can track the movement of those coins and on where those been transfered on other wallet address but talking into its holder then it would be impossible and also MEW cant freeze an account as long we do have our private keys or any information about the wallet then theres nothing we can do but move on.
5094  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 09, 2017, 01:35:30 PM
I was talking with a friend of mine about cryptocurrencies and he said:
"Cryptocurrencies are anonymous?Nothing on the internet is anonymous.Having a bunch of dollars or euro in the pocket is the most anonymous way to store money. Grin"
Damn, now i think that he is right and fiat money are still way more convenient ,despite all the inflation, banks monopoly and control. From my personal experiense 99% of the people refuse to believe in bitcoin and refuse to adopt it in their daily life.Any opinions?
Not a surprising thing because most people do really think of this way which they do believe that fiat is always better on any other things that do exist which is normal for them to say even myself would really do say the same thing i i havent known about bitcoin. Just dont force them on what they do believe as long us bitcoin users do already know on making advantage when it comes on money handling and controling with your own hands without any 3rd party involve. If they would just knew it for sure they would changed their minds.
5095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York Preschool Accepts Bitcoin on: November 08, 2017, 05:45:57 PM
Ease of payment, low fees, and speed of transactions are some of the reasons why a preschool in New York City has opted for tuition payments in Bitcoin.
Co-founded and chaired by Marco Ciocca, Montessori Schools is an early childhood education program built upon the classical methods of Maria Montessori. After following the growth cryptocurrency industry over the years, the school decided to start accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum in May, eschewing the traditional credit card payment system due to the ease of payment, low fees, and security that cryptocurrencies offer.
This is indeed a good news which do really shows that bitcoin can really be accepted into these sectors or divisions which would really make an ease on paying up tuition fees on our education. They did already see the usefulness and the benefits on using bitcoin. It does lessen up the workforce that being done usually on these traditional days,Hopefully other institution would really consider this thing to be adopted sooner or later and bitcoin users would really love to see such thing for it to be adopted but im sure it would still takes time.
5096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday correction TA - Head and Shoulders pointing to 6600 target on: November 06, 2017, 10:24:24 PM

For a few days the rally was losing limpet, correction is not surprising here.
Its already anticipated and a nice catch for that head and shoulder pattern which do really signifies later on a correction on the price which isnt really surprising yet the price is playing up on above 7k ranges which i do expect that it would really correct anytime soon. This is why we should sell out into this ranges specially when we are already on profits.Just buyback later when we do hit up lesser prices. This is why its too risky to buy bitcoin as of now because it is still on peak prices.Just wait a little bit more before we do get in.
5097  Economy / Economics / Re: Greater fool theory: The bitcoin bubble on: November 06, 2017, 09:32:31 PM
I dont buy bitcoins, i only earn them, and everytime that i have some bitcoins i always sell them.

Wow. Have you ever added up how much gain you've given up on? What do you do to earn it? If it was via trading and sig campaigns and so on I don't really see why anyone would sell it unless they had a pressing need to. Mining is a different matter as there are immediate expenses to meet.

If you don't have any faith in BTC by now then when are you going to get some?

None of my business of course, just curious.
He can able to get some bitcoin anytime since he does have the funds to buy on came from on the profits or money he did earn either on campaigns or tradings or any methods he does which in able for him to make money.
Its none really of our business since its his bitcoin or money after all he does have the full control on the decision he would made. People have different perceptions on bitcoin some of them would say its a bubble but for those believers on bitcoin will definitely say the different thing.
5098  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you know about hashocean which is bitcoin Mining on: November 06, 2017, 08:46:08 PM
I invested money in bitcoin hashocean.com and used to get daily small amount but hashocean is deactivated and lost my capital amount.
I felt tears for Hashocean website, I heard its been from so many years and genuinely paying but at sudden they closed it.
When Iam new to bitcoin I resulted with benefit of loosing just because of investing in bitcoin hashocean mining website.
I believe many users may also face like me with hashocean.  Cry   Cry
Move on dude. Hashocean is dead for how many years now and same as yours i did able to put up some counts of BTC on there on those years which it did generate me some passive income on daily basis and suddnely it shut down before the halving as far as i remember. They do stop to make payouts and become scam before the first halving of bitcoin. They used to be the famous cloud mining site before ahead of genesis but now genesis and hashflare stood strong as of these days. Cloud mining sites most of them are just total crap scams.
5099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Majority of altcoin = scam on: November 06, 2017, 08:01:42 PM
Not because of scam but because of lack of predictability, trust issues etc. Market can easily lose billions of dollars in hours so it is very normal dump and pump

If you careful in choosing the right ICO you will be able to make big fund with the few dollar investment. You may know about waves and how they improved in the market and value bumped in the market place supply.

If you are looking for price bump and dump means you cannot able to invest in any altcoins buddy. You have read the white paper and then only it is good to invest your money.
This is why researching skills would really be crucial on this matter which we should really able to ride with the waves if we do really like to make money on either bitcoin or altcoins in the market.Their prices are not anytime correlated to each other which means bitcoin my pump altcoin will pump and can possibly goes on the inverted way which means we dont really know on where would prices would go but with the use of our knowledge and experiences we can able to make money but we should really need to face the risk.
5100  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Transaction still pending in hitbtc on: November 06, 2017, 04:00:30 PM
---UPDATE---

My withdrawal got through before the support could contact me. I'm not entirely sure what transpired there but my guess is there has been a congestion (is that even possible?) in a certain stage of my transaction. But what really baffles me is that I have traded and used their service before but this is the first time this has happened. Well as for using this exchange, I'll probably limit myself from using it from now on.
This thing happened to me on which when you do have 1st encounter on this kind of thing on any exchanges you would really be alarmed since we are transacting money on here.It did take hours for the transactions to be broadcasted on the network. You would really doubt since this thing doesnt been faced before on early times. Even on coinbase and c-cex once withdrawal have been confirmed on your email but the transaction didnt instantly appear which you expect then you will normally be alarmed. For now we are already aware on such situation but i can say Hitbtc is a good exchange.
