4841  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will exchanges have learnt anything from this bubble? on: March 29, 2018, 09:46:06 PM
There is no such a thing as legit bull runs, there never has been. Each bull run we experienced created a fake sense of increased popularity, while in reality of nothing really has changed. Exchanges will never be able to completely adapt to the situation, because as pointed out, the hypes attracting people to sign up always fades away after a while, and that makes exchanges not upgrade too far ahead, which directly explains why they are reluctant to pump big capital into expanding their operations. Coinbase and a few other services have experienced numerous days where more than 100,000 people signed up, but I very much doubt that even 10% of that number actually end up walking themselves through the verification process. Overall, exchanges just try to balance everything in a way where they are still able to somewhat cope with the increased demand, but not in a way they have to break their bank for it. Quite often we keep hammering too hard on exchanges, which in some cases is well justified, but in some cases also not.
Basing into your presumptions i dont even believe that it would reach out 10% for people who would really comply such KYC policy.I would rather believe that only 5% would go though. For the on the current situation of the market,im sure they are already thinking of this thing thats why same as you said they dont really put up big amounts to extent this business. Why? They do know the risk when the market goes upside down. We are going down as of now an i would really observe each exchanges behavior into this one.
4842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I just go commit suicide? on: March 29, 2018, 08:59:50 PM
I invested half of my  saving ($25,000)  into ETH when it was $725. ETH has now plunged to $459. I am very worried I will keep losing money and I fear for the worst.  I want to go kill myself   Huh
Current price as of writing is $393 which is even more lower on the range amount you are talking on. You can see it here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets . For the advice, you are the only one who do suffer such stress and struggles in life and same as yours there are lots of investors who are patiently waiting to this very bearish market.Dont let waste your life in just an amount of $25,000.Your life isnt worth on that amount,am i right?
4843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to identify ICO scam ?! some important tips ! on: March 29, 2018, 08:33:40 PM
Base on my experience Scam ICO is will be known if there is no assurance like how can a project run smoothly if it is listed and how can the platform be able to function as what it is, there are so many ICO which produces lots of FUDs saying that project will be to the moon LOL, isn't it too obvious? Part of marketing. a true ICO project deals with Good reputation of developers, well created website (also can be an option to see if secured or not) and last but not the least you can identify scam ICO in it's feedback.

Machi you may find the scam ICO with the detailed information they have spreaded on white paper pdf file. Sometime as you said it may created by the some best ann creator and share it a fake one on the announcement thread.
If you able to find the developers details you write and ask about the project confirmation on LinkedIn. Normally This LinkedIn profile allows you to understand the project is whether going from the right hand or fake ERC20 creator.
If you do made further investigations then these things should really be done on which checking out profile of the team behind on such project. If you do see suspicious things then better skip and find another project to invest on. Decisions would really vary on what we have read and discovered. If you are lazy enough to read up things and seeking out important informations then most likely you would really able to fall into the trap.
4844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Why is it so difficult to open account in Bittrex? on: March 29, 2018, 06:54:01 PM
I do not have problems with login in bittrex because I've done verification last year, but not only you who have difficulty and many my friends who have problems. they try to do KYC verification but it always fails. I think bittrex is already doing security improvements.
OP isnt pertaining on logging in problems on which his main question do matter on creating a new account which is actually true that it would really be much harder for new accounts to be created since they are focusing with their backlogs and the same time they are already strict when it comes to KYC compliance.Even myself do forgot on my bittrex account which i have tried to send a ticket towards that but 2 weeks time im not still recieving any word from them yet.
4845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice for the new investor on: March 29, 2018, 06:27:25 PM
Although new investors needs answers to this but it seems that ut isn't too late to invest.  Think of some coin buyer that needs money, they're always everywhere and it needs more time to collect more data. Don't to panic in investment always think the right path in success.
It is never too late to invest. There will always be a chance for new investors to get in at some point in time. As long as you know all the necessary things you need to, so as to be able to play well in your investments, then you will always do great in your investment and have an edge over those who do not. That is always the difference between those who know what to look out for and those who do not.

I wish I was able just to spend a bunch of money and just wait... I need my money tho so I gotta trade and go thru all that stress Cheesy
Ready to wait probably is the prime key to achieve big things in crypto trading. New investors must learn some basics of crypto trading, among many basics, ready to hold must be one should learn before touching trading.
Completely agree with your statement which its never been too late to invest and anytime would be the best time as long you do know on when to enter specially with this very volatile world of crypto. Moving prices is really very unpredictable even no matter how experienced you are you will still have the hesitations on making such move.Investments do really have lots of form or types it would just depend on which one you would choose up according to your knowledge.
4846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SCAMNETWORK - BUILDING SELF-SUSTAINING ANTI-SCAM SYSTEMS on: March 28, 2018, 10:44:11 PM
This network would be a P2P platform built for the victims of scams to seek help locating and identifying their scammers. All bounties placed for those scammers are escrowed by smart contract and all bounty reports would be analysed by experts and AI built by our team to ensure the validity of the information given.

I love the motive but would really be hard to achieve in my own opinion. If this would really resolve such scam cases then this thing would boom up.Im not still sure on how investors would get their assurance though.
4847  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 28, 2018, 10:40:40 PM
The workability of signature campaigns in promoting and advertising many ICOs has really made an impact when it comes to projecting a project globally in this forum,I have read many success stories of many ICOs reaching there soft cap and hard cap in a  quick succession after advertising there ICO via signature campaign here.

Yeah that's why many ICOs are promote their ICO in this bitcointalk forum, if it's not effective why people still want to promote their ICO with signature campaign. Bitcointalk is also the biggest forum about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, many crypto users gather in this forum and talk about cryptocurrency.

Good icos reach hard cap because all the marketing, including bounty campaigns here. I am one of the people who don`t check ico if they don`t have bounty campaign here. That is the first thing I check about them, and how active is the community that plan to support ico.
By me signature and bounty campaigns on this forum are the most important one, along with all other campaigns, good campaigns cover all the fields, forums, social medias, news and article campaigns, and all other campaigns they are active everywhere.
Having a good marketing is always or must-have kind of thing when you do launch an ICO since this would really spread the awareness on such existences of your potential project. Its really hard to believe for a project getting success without having too much active marketing which i do find it shady.Same as yours when i do tend to invest i do always look up on how big the community support and the way it do emphasize when it comes to marketing.
4848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Have to wait till Bitcoin Bear Market is over for Alts to climb again? on: March 28, 2018, 10:00:17 PM
When you guys think that will be
If you want to see the entire market going up, you should see a good rally from the bitcoin coin market, but if there are individual coins which have a good potential and are under valued ,it could make a move without the help of bitcoin market, if not the entire market will ride on either directions depending on the price of bitcoin and the news around the world.
The main indication would really be entirely depending on bitcoin market. If we do see price increase and the entire marketcap gradually increasing it does really signifies that altcoin would be heading the same way too.In reality we do have similar question in mind on when price of alts would climb again. For now we are still on bear market and we wont even know on when it would end for us to see again a reversal market trend.
4849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: March 28, 2018, 08:58:25 PM
-snip
Scammers are everywhere and probably due to the prime advantage of cryptos, being anonymous, these scammers may have some extra edge. But being careful in common weapon everywhere which will protect us for sure.
Yes those scammers are really tactical due to the feature of cryptocurrencies of being anonymous.

And they can see the advantage on it if they will pursue their shady activities. I'm worried to those new investors but will land to the wrong people and investment.

The impact that it will bring to that investors will make them pessimistic to crypto's once they became a victim.
Case to case basis since possible results would be depending on how people would rush in on involving theirselves into crypto. If one is sensible enough then this forum would really be a great help for him to avoid potential risk on getting scammed. You should read up things into this forum and learn up things which you havent known before and you will surely save yourself on getting scammed.
4850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NO more BOOOOM on: March 28, 2018, 08:31:03 PM
All these predictions about cryptocurrencies downfall are a bunch of crypto negativity which can be avoided and then remain focus. America did this or that are just FUD.  The blockchain technology is just too far above all these.
We dont even know on whose behind with this negativity or such movements which do result into falling market but well i do believe on the thing you do said that blockchain technology is too far above where does it mean that it will really progress no matter what and i do really believe on such thing. We might still assure if it would progress or adopted but rest assured this would really be a great innovation when it comes to payment system.
For OP,i dont know why he do mention about america.
4851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have received the token and I am confused to sell it? What do you think on: March 27, 2018, 09:49:09 PM
I ask for your advice in invested or held up?
Which coin you are talking on? Since you havent mentioned on what coin you are holding because we do all know that there are thousands of coins in the market and we dont even know on what coin you are holding which cant really make a suggestion if you would hold it for long term or sell it already. Coins do classified on two things, the potential ones and the crappy ones. If you hold up not so special coins then you can opt out on selling it as long its on profits then its a very good thing to be done.If you are holding a good coin then holding it on for long term is also a good choice.

4853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties in Facebook and Twitter in danger? on: March 26, 2018, 10:41:31 PM
With recent ban from Twitter and Facebook... Soon they will not start chasing bounty hunters?
It is one kind of regulation because still everything should be normal in the crypto advertisement. But they create a rumors in banning the Crypto Ads so don't take it in your mind it will never possible in the world. Bounty is the big supporting team in crypto platform because every projects are depends on the Bounty campaigns so this never failed in anyway. But future Facebook and Twitter fix some taxes in crypto Ads.
If they would take some consideration then re-enabling them would be possible in future years but now they are targeting off scam ICO's on where they would definitely need to stop it since they are really risking out their name or company. We do know the mentality of every investors on where if theyre being scammed by a project which is being advertised or have been seen thru google ads or even on twitter then most likely people will target out those platforms to whom who are advertising. This is the main concern even though they do lost some money from these projects but they cant really afford to risk their reputation.
4854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEDIUM is banning Bounty dedicated account on: March 25, 2018, 09:49:43 AM
This is sad to see.  I do see changes in the future though.  Sites like Steemit are catching on (although I personally don't like the platform) and I believe that we'll see many more coming to life in the future.  Of course, getting the amount of users like Medium, Facebook, Twitter & Google (the last 3 for advertising) will take some time, but I also feel that we'll see rapid growth in some of these platforms from the crypto users and supports, which in turn will bring it to the masses.

Sorry that your account was banned, that is bullsh*t.

I think it was banned for good reasons. As what has @Patatas has said, maybe it has something to do with bounties. Specially that there are non-English posters there who are really putting up that no one really understands because of broken English or even worst to scam people out of their hard earn money. It has nothing to do with the free speech or something. Sometimes you need to know where you stand, and at this point, looks like Medium is really fed up and says that they need to put a stop on it otherwise it will ruined the online publishing platform or social journalism that they established.
They do already know that their reputation or image would be mainly affected if they let this spamming would continue. They are already done with this why they do already made an action which isnt really surprising. For those people who do loves to spam for the sake of ICO then their days are already over.If Medium would find out of ICO spam then expect on what would be the consequences. There are already lost of accounts being banned due to this, they havent say a word towards this but on nearest presumption then this might really be the main reason.

4856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: March 24, 2018, 02:42:53 PM
look understanding the game and timing very important. Buy the coin part by part. It's better to buy coin in sunday. Generally sunday market turn. Patience , keep it tightly this can lot's in your life. Play with your profit and save your investment. These are some tips from me that I learn from market.
It is not an astonishing thing if trading is not helping someone in making of some good amount of money as it is not at all possible for everyone of us to do exceptionally well in trading and then become an expert in trading. If things are not going well in trading, then you need not to do it. Instead, you can look for some other ways which can help you in making of money like that of holding.
If you did already do your best on doing trading for a long time but still you end up on losing so much then it would be the best time for you to quit and engage into other things rather than on pursuing or forcing yourself because there are really things that doesnt really work on us no matter or how hard we do or learn it.Instead on pushing then better let lose and find other ways or methods which would possibly give you an income.
4857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Earn easy Merit? on: March 22, 2018, 05:46:09 PM
Few days back i found that you are not going to be promoted if you are unable to get more merit.
1 thing i know that you get a merit by making a good post which is helpful, but i want to know more ways to earn Merit?
how much merit 1 single account can give to other?
Earning merit would never be an easy thing. It might sounds very basic on earning those points but it would be not a easy journey yet not all people would really consider you out on putting merit on your post unless if its really contributing then its possible but if not and just posting standard things then earning would be hard and wont really be easily recognized.Hurrying up wont really give you anything good.Just make a good contributive post then you might able to do it.
4858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: March 19, 2018, 08:38:35 PM
I am using Myetherwallet to store my ETH and tokens. There are no other options out there, if you have less than 1 ETH. To store a small amount of coins, it is not viable to purchase a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger.
If you do store only small amounts then storing it out on hardware wallets would be somehow senseless in my part but in my case i do have some big amounts of ETH which i didnt tend to put up on hardware and rather just store it on my MEW. It might really be risky to store but as long they key isnt exposed to someone its impossible for it to be hacked.Just responsible into your keys and you should be fine.I believe that MEW is mainly being used on storing up erc20.

-snip-
This is just a basic concept or explanation on how an arbitrage trading does really work which it is really truly very simple but the question is on how to execute it without suffering loss? This would really require fast or instant deposits and withdrawals between exchanges because we do know that price difference opportunity doesnt really last too long. You might able to get the order or end up on wasting up your money on fees.
4860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000? on: March 19, 2018, 07:34:38 PM
6000$ is maximum dip , 50000$ is the potential high within 2 weeks from now

I hope so, but I think $50k will not reach within 2weeks. Let’s accept the fact that bitcoin are falling no one knows how deep it can be but we must remain on a cool side and don’t ever panic. At the end of the day of bitcoin survive this only mean that its technology is really in demand.

Gosh, certainly not. What I think is that Bitcoin price will be fluctuating. it will be somewhere between 7,5 and 11 thousand. However, close to autumn it will go up fast.
We should not still think off about on that 50k usd range. We should focus out on much lesser price targets for bitcoin on these year and those numbers are just pure speculation and assumption. We might reach or not.No one really knows since no one able to see the future.Going back on 4k usd price is possible but binance issue is already passed and now we are facing another negative issues coming in our way.
