4921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading on: February 11, 2018, 05:33:24 PM
I am calculate the profit from trading altcoin using percentage. That's to say, whatever funds i put into trading even for $14 (as you mentioned), that's enough. As long as we are observant to see price movement, then we can achieve good profits.
$14 is actually good to start investing into trading with some good altcoins as holding some coins for long term can be much profitable. Some good altcoins are at a good dip for now and it can eventually rise some or the other day which can usually give huge returns and even some coins rise up by 5x to 10x which will just multiply your amount. Also $14 can give you a $100 profit if you have good patience and you are ready to invest and forget about the coin. Day trading can be profitable for fast but small profits but I won't prefer day trading with $14 so try to get some profits from that 14$ and then you can start day trading and long term trading in percentages to get you huge returns.
$14 is enough for anyone to start your trading but it won't actually give them that good profits indeed as $14 is not that big amount and some of it is lost into the transactions fees itself.

As OP is new to trading and the cryptos worlds, he can try getting some more knowledge and also try to start paper trading rather than investing your funds into trading. He can move on to trading with his funds once you have good knowledge about trading and also once you start having good profits in paper trading. Paper trading won't actually give anyone any profits in return but indeed it will give them good knowledge but what actual trading is and also they can start getting good experiences which will again be profitable for the future.

With that small amount, he may use it to practice trading. Although there's a chance for him to lose this money, he would still be able to gain experience and learn how to trade from it. Since he's just new in the btc field, I suggest that he should first learn about the basics of not only Bitcoin, but of other cryptos as well. You're going to have a hard time trading if you have little knowledge of the coin. It's also good to be always updated so you have to get used to constantly feeding yourself information and constantly learning new things.
Using small amounts on the very first time would really be always suggested. Dont ming on losing that money the important thing is that you should really learn from those small steps. Analyzing and gaining experience is a must this is why we should really observe and learn from our past mistakes.I agree on the suggestion that we must really know on the updates on the coins we are trading to so that we would somehow know on the possible movement it may go. Fundamentals with little bit technical analysis will help you out.
4922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: February 11, 2018, 04:58:10 PM
Day trading is a very risky and stressful activity, with a lot of adrenaline, so I understand if you don't like it.
But with a so high volatility, if you are a skilled trader, it can be your passport to riches.
I have tried day trading when I was just a newbie in trading it is not really a good thing to do especially trading a lot of coins, so I think if you don't want a daily stress and don't have much time then don't do daily trading, just choose wisely in which coin you want to invest at.
But, for me life is risky it really just up to us how we are going to deal with everyday battles.
Life is very risky specially when it comes to investment which trading do really involve on risking out money to earn money and when it comes to day trading it wont really be an easy thing because you do really need experience for you to get profitable with it and it doesnt really suits anybody to do such thing. Might be working for others  but most of the time newbies cant really get this thing right away.
4923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a fake coin? on: February 11, 2018, 04:04:11 PM
I just saw this somewhere on the internet. Are there any fake coins existing? How do you avoid buying fake coins?
Fake coins? When we do talk about fake coins then usually these dont have value since they are just fake but we do all know that there are clone coins or shit coins in the market. They might not be fake or just cloning to each other but yet they do have still value but considered to be trash or useless at all. If you do pertain about shit coins then you should really avoid on buying up these coins if you dont like to lose up money.
4924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of newbies buying the wrong coin. Be carefull! on: February 07, 2018, 10:48:10 PM
Newbie in cryptocurrencies trading are just buying coins that is hype by the news, most traders now are not for a long time a just doing day trade.
Hype is the one they are into and then dump in just some percent up. i still admire those PRO that are long time holders who are based on whitepaper and road maps.
Traders can be classified either on short or long term basis. The professional on handling it would really be depend on how you do profits on either situation on how market moves. Traders can easily transition into shorter trades when they do saw some gains on a short period of time and sometime they do long term hold and accumulate as much as they can when they do saw potential. It does matter on a certain trader skills.
4925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy do you have for taking profits? on: February 07, 2018, 09:48:15 PM
When my portfolio has risen about 50% i take out 10%. (5% in euro wallet and 5% in new ICO's)
Nice diversification but i would advice to add up some amount to be saved. As long you do take your capital out then we are just solely talking on profits side then better to put up 10% on savings and 10% on ico then 10% for buybacks 10% for re-rolling. This would be a good allocation of funds or profits being made but well it all depends on your decision since we do have different priorities in life too.
4926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A strategy for "surviving" in times of crisis on: February 07, 2018, 08:04:01 PM
2. Wait for the rise of the value of your investment around 2x and then pull out the amount of your initial investment. This way it's like you never invested and you still have a profit, and a portfolio.
3. When you receive some extra profit put that aside too - open yourself a little "crisis fund".

These two things is my common way on handling on these kind of situations on where i do always pull out initial investment and leave out the profits and re-roll it and if im profiting then save up for back up funds. It do really help me on these kind of situations specially when theres a crash.
4927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoint down on: February 06, 2018, 05:16:34 PM
what actually happens why altcoin all red blush

this is a Q of a beginner Cheesy well i will tell you, the best part of a dip is to hold and buy more.
selling your tokens at dip will never help you and will just make you more miserable in the future. how did i say that ? well, you are not looking of future but the day now. cutting the holding will give you a headache soon and i am pretty sure of that. well, you are new and experience is the best teacher. so wait and be miserable.
And i do bet that most of us would really come into that state on where we do cut loss specially when we are still newbie into this field and i do agree on what you have said on here that experience is the best teacher which means on next encounter on these kind of situation we would eventually know on what are the things we should do which is to hold no matter what and doesnt tend to cut loss.
4928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: tokens listed on exchanges after ICO on: February 06, 2018, 02:44:02 PM
Offcourse, ICO at the end should be on exchange. But every company not sure it is fast or slow on listing their coin. All of that is according to the roadmaps time. Like Boscoin, it is so long time can deposit in HitBTC. I think all have process for listing. Be carefull in joining ICO if the company didn't trust. Hopefull all investor get profit in their invest when the coin listing in markets.
Listing a coin after ICO is just really easy because this thing would really always matter on how the team would push this up to be listed and we do all know some exchanges doesnt really have strict requirements for a coin to be listed. A simple voting or a certain amount paid up for the coin to be listed is already sufficient which the same thing being mentioned by Avirunes above which is actually true.
4929  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is your trading strategy now?is holding the only thing we can do? on: February 06, 2018, 01:06:36 PM
ofcourse i dont expect you to reveal every thing but what i am asking is what exactly is your mentality since numerous cryptos are falling by 50%.
i am in a fix here,i though holding would be the best option but seeing this freefall my mind is not at peace.
what approach are you taking?
People do always advice to HODL on the coins they do possessed. Seeing this freefall would really not put our mind in peace and worrying too much and might make some foolish actions is possible. For now on the things ive done. I dont usually take a look on my portfolio currently on my holdings because everytime i do see percentage loss it do really hurt me down and depresses me off. This is why i do decide to delete my app so that i wont able to see price movements.
4930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: February 05, 2018, 09:34:29 PM
Good start brother,  very soon I will do this, I am also researching on Bitcoin, Working in a office side by side crypto trade is very hard.
There is nothing wrong in concentrating your time entirely in crypto currency market, but there is always a risk involved when it comes to this market as it is really volatile and it is really easy to make money when the market is riding a bull run,but that wont be the case when it is a bear market, like the one we are witnessing now, there is nothing you can do,so quitting your job is not a good idea,if regular income is not an issue,it is your call.
Why would risk something which is stable and tending to go in a risky thing which even yourself arent to sure on what you are engaging? There would be no dumb person would do such decision. This is why we do always ensure or secure things up before on making any transitions because once been done then you cant revert it back this is why proper planning is always been suggested on these kind of situations.
4931  Other / Meta / Re: How do I get merit and trust? on: February 05, 2018, 08:39:11 PM
I am still new in this and i want to learn more about it. I just want to asked what is merit and trust for? How can i earn merit and trust and where can i get it? Are merits and trusts important here?
Merits and trust are really different things. Lets talk about merits which these things are needed for you to level up or ranked up your account. (Merit+Potential Activity= Ranked up) they do have significant requirement on each rank. You can find a thread regarding on certain level requirements. Talking about trust this is a system on where you can see how a user is trust-able enough into this community.
4932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and dump group for your trading. on: February 03, 2018, 09:26:45 PM
Hi everyone,
Do you know something about pump and dump group?

Groups of people that start buy and sell together at the same moment coins, to rise and fall coins price specially the small cryptos.

An Italian businessman talked me about a group with 1.500$ mountly subscription where insiders send signal, buy, sell, hold, right price is xyz...

who are this "insiders"Huh Huh

Do you know something about that or is a scam?

Thx
Dont be a fool to believe with that italian businessman since these kind of groups are just a total trash and cant really be trusted at all. I dont believe on those insider infos. Come to think if they do inside info then they can make money out of theirselves without the need of letting other people know on whats their secret and first of they dont really asked for a subscription fee thats a really a dumb obvious thing.
4933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: February 03, 2018, 07:58:36 PM
I've lost a good sum with panic selling and panic buying, really newbie mistakes, and looking back I actually did good choices when selling...

I've also lost by not doing proper research before invest, although very small sum.
I have done the same except for panic buying but thankfully I didn't get a loss, I was still at a nice profit level. And since then I have learnt and I rather chose to wait for a good profit level even if I have a capital loss. That's sometimes helpful, sometimes not. I spend almost all of my bitcoins for alts and when I really need to make a good investment I won't have any bitcoins with me and at the same time I cannot sell of my investments because they are probably in a loss. My theory is just that not to sell anything at a loss. However I have got losses in like gambling and sending alts without destination tag or other tags or something like that.

The most common one is not selling the assets under a heavy market collapse. This is the worst decission to take during a red market. If you sell with huge loss, there is no meaning in this decission.
I dont know why do people cut losses when price decreased. Its much better to hold off than to sell on loss. Knowing that cryptocurrency coins would eventually recover or heal up after a sudden dip. Money cant be still considered as loss when you are still hanging on or still holding it. This is actually a test of patience which is really an important thing on trading career. If you are impatient then mistakes and regrets are there.
4934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is down / All Market is RED - Can you suggest best ICO to invest now? on: February 02, 2018, 09:38:52 PM
Hi everyone!

Bitcoin is down, thus All Market is RED. In this situation can you suggest some of the best ICOs to invest?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you!
There are lots to choose from when it comes to ICO. Most of them are trash but there still some potential ones which would be worth to invest on. Bitcoin is really going down.Even on alts too which i dont bother on investing something like on ICO on this current state.I do rather think of on buying even more cheaper bitcoins. Might not be a good way on making profit but somehow do have strong assurance for possible profits.
4935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: February 02, 2018, 08:57:23 PM
You need to do the maths and make some educated predictions. Take into consideration the length of the ICO and how much you think ether will rise in that time. Look at comparable products that have gone through an ICO and what their growth has been since landing on an exchange. Like everything in the crypto world - the answer is to really do your research!
Research and Research! This is the most important thing where you can base your possible actions either buying earlier or wait into an exchange. Sometimes we do really need to depend on intuition because everything could happen ahead even no matter how good your research is this unpredictable market will really ruin it but somehow we do have basis on what we have done. Just stick to it according to your knowledge.
4936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade right and right? on: February 02, 2018, 08:10:58 PM
how to trade the good and right so that we do not lose?
Can anyone advise to me on a trusted site?
For seniors please guidance ... Wink Wink Wink
There are lots of trusted exchanges such as poloniex, bittrex, binance etc. but as king on how to trade good and right then this thing would entirely matter on how you do it. Talking about lose? Its unavoidable which means we do really suffer this thing specially when we are still a newbie but yet these mistakes would really give experience and learning towards it which we should really not be easily discourage if we do lose the more important thing is you gained knowledge.
4937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: January 31, 2018, 08:16:07 PM
i do not fear. the cryptocurrency has been a part of the economy now. So, i do not fear they can be destroyed or not. I will hold my coins until the market recover.
Holding your coin until it recover is a good strategy but to lower your risk, you should buy other coin to break even your investment. Thats why i dont panic at all because even I sell my dump coin, i can still recover it because of my strategy to buy at others dump coins which is usually at top 50 altcoins in the marketcap.
Buy other altcoins will not help you recover your funds in the bearish trend. Did you invest altcoin in June 2017? If you were the buyer in that time, you knew the price of altcoin just dump and dump until August 2017 and December 2017 to pump 50% or old highest price in the past.
Diversifying is good but come to think off on adding the risk involved. Not all the times that new coin being bought would guaranteed for you to break even your loss in the money you do invest. It would either go that way or into opposite which would result into a deeper problem.Diversifying can really give the opportunity to income even more but do still have the risk on losing even more too.
4938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best / safest wallet for storing ETH on: January 31, 2018, 05:21:59 PM
Hello all,

I am looking to store ETH in a wallet, what would you suggest is the best and safest way to do this? I am considering buying a trezor as well for extra protection. I am simply looking to hodl ETH.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

For me i suggest use myetherwallet.com.it has great and secured wallet. He always remind on how to prevent on a hacker.Thats why i decide not to use privatekey instead the jason file.Because he notice that pk is too risky in your wallet...
Inputting private key would really be more risky but only to the case where you do have an infected device then possibilities on getting hacked is high. For now i do have 3 storages for ETH hodling. Nano Ledger,MEW,Trezor which these things are really good to use up and its users discretion on how he do handle those private informations away from other people. Its secure as long those keys or seeds arent exposed.
4939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $300 into a million? Possible? on: January 31, 2018, 04:39:30 PM
I saw some youtube videos claiming that you can make a million USD in a year starting with $100-500 only, is it really possible? Specially for a newbie like me?
Its hard but attainable on where you would really need all the things you should really need to learn up on doing trading. This would really takes time depending on how you do perform trades and the coins you are engaging with. If you do able to ride on alts which do have possible 50x-100x growth then its a good way to start up since you can able to extent your bankroll which would proceed into another investment or coin that would continue the pace.
4940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I was hacked with the Fake Binance on: January 30, 2018, 09:59:59 PM
Today, to login binance, I used google search (lazy ass) and click on google top ad (stupid of me). I check https and certification was secure and the name (nothing wrong there), and after entering my password and code for two step authentication, it displayed this massage:

Due to the implementation of new security measures you will be able to login 24-48 hours later.
Sorry for the inconvenience

I got suspicious, so I typed the address and went back and googled the massage and I came across this page. Apparently the displayed name in the url with valid certification has a small dot under n. So I was hacked, lucky me I change my passwords and my authentication method asap. But It was headache and normally it is not easy to spot this. You can also copy past the fake binance.com in a notepad and see that original url is : (https://www.xn--binace-zt7b.com/).

I know I was sloppy (even being normally paranoid about everything).
I am putting this here to stop anybody losing his BTCs.

That was a close one and luckily you did able to change password before the hacker did able to stole funds inside that account. Even my eyes fooled me in my first glimpse of the phishing site which it do have actually a small dot under that letter i. If you are really very lazy then checking this small difference of detail cant really be noticed which you would really end up on entering your credentials.
