Reports that certain exchanges (unfair to name any at this point) are now "suspending" withdrawls.
Source?
423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2015, 12:12:06 AM
Stop selling!!! Seriously. If we all stop selling together, everything will be fine again. Why are you hurting yourselves and being so stupid?

So any updates  Grin Small guys are dumping, but that does not mean much

I dont think you're seeing small players dumping right now... I'm just as interested in what SecondMarket people are doing, though.

429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 05:26:13 AM
Hidden wall on finex at 248.1$...

There definitely was! Quite large, too. Nice catch.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 04:42:05 AM
what exchanges have a stop loss feature?  seems dangerous with whales and a thin market.

bitfinex has a stop-stop loss system, so I imagine they have stop-losses
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 04:08:30 AM
Could a good TA expert tell us what the price is going to do?

I don't know, but the next few days are critical!

I think the few days after these few days are also critical. Perhaps even a few more!

Do you guys think it will ever recover back one day?

No. 3600 new bitcoins are produced every day. The market doesn't want all those coins, as shown by the falling price. Markus, Willy and other Gox price manipulation schemes were the only reason price went to two, three and four digits in the first place. Now that Gox is gone, Bitcoin is exposed as what it is: A poorly designed pyramid scheme technology that has zero utility for ordinary consumers. The only people who has any use for bitcoins, are a few thousand drug addicts and child pornographers.

The speculative Bitcoin fad is over. Bitcoin will go back to single digits now. A lot of cultists, bulltards, early adopters and other bagholders will commit suicide in the coming months.

Thats BS, I dont believe in Bitcoin but it is extremely useful.

Its still up 100,000% up from inception

From .0025 to $250 is incredible
Correct. This is why it will not recover..
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 01:48:00 AM
Wow...I can't believe I am here to watch this shit go down!!!

Remarkable...totally remarkable.

This is kind of like when it went to $1100 but opposite!!!
Perfect comparison, lmao. It's just "holy fuck, can it go any lower?!" rather than "omg rocket"
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 01:13:04 AM
Is the tone... double bottom? Rocket time? Yes, yes I think it is!
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 12, 2015, 01:11:38 AM
Why all the conspiracy theories...is it possible that there are simply more sellers than there are buyers?

What does this even mean? It's a nonsense phrase and people need to stop using it.

Pretty obvious what it means. Yes, its easy to forcefully misinterpret, but that's your choice.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Trading Simulator] A fun and free Speculation Game [52 participants] on: January 11, 2015, 09:34:50 PM
Quoting:

A pure scalper will make a number of trades a day, between five and 10 to hundreds. A scalper will mostly utilize one-minute charts since the time frame is small and he or she needs to see the setups as they shape up as close to real time as possible. Quote systems Nasdaq Level II, TotalView and/or Times and Sales are essential tools for this type of trading. Automatic instant execution of orders is crucial to a scalper, so a direct-access broker is the preferred weapon of choice.

My point is just to be able to enter a good position or exit a bad one asap, without a time limit. It's bad enough that I can miss such opportunities because I need to sleep or do other things.
Yep, all of my good, real trades were like that. Lots of small 1-5% profits
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Trading Simulator] A fun and free Speculation Game [52 participants] on: January 11, 2015, 03:41:55 PM
Thought about it some more and change my mind, the way it works now is good.

Once you consider the potential of the price halving or doubling, it's clear that starting at a set amount doesn't work that well. A static starting amount goes well with a percent loss/profit model, but this method works well in it's own way. Sorry for the thread crap.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Trading Simulator] A fun and free Speculation Game [52 participants] on: January 11, 2015, 02:50:00 PM
The point here is to profit. Excluding the initial 15 or so participants, who were all equally matched and wouldnt require a starting balance column, it's pretty clear if someone started now at $90 and got to $100, they did a hell of a job compared to the person sitting on $100 USD for the past 10 days.

This absolutely is not true. There was a bull-trap at the begging of the game when price fell, stalled for a while, almost all of us actively playing bought at that moment, and then price fell again sharply. You would have been caught in it almost sure, and claiming that you would not is just empty bragging. You have no proof that you would do better.

And if the price rose...? I bet everyone who started would love new joiners getting $110.
