Was there any fundamental reason why Bitcoin crashed today from $680 to $620-630?

I had a 620 buy order, it wasn't filled had to buy now at 637 -_-
Should have bid $620.10 or so. As long as you arent a whale this works. (If there was a massive wall there, then $622.10 or something along those lines gives you a much greater chance of being hit) |

With this dump it is looking more and more like it did right before the massive run-up in November. I guess this is a good sign then?  How exactly is this dump looking similar to pre-November run up? there was massive bear traps on the way, i know, i fell in every single one. Sorry to break it to you, but one of these is not alike.  This formation never occurred in April or November. I really doubt this rally will reach new highs. My personal opinion: Its done. |

Still no money hitting bitstamp orderbook.. doesn't look so good to me. Huobi/Bfx are doing fairly well with bid/ask depth.
The bid on bitstamp is already healthier than 2 days ago when we hit 680 the first time Yup. This leads me to believe that not much new money has come to bstamp yet, and that the rising price is from people buying and selling repeatedly. However China seems to have gotten a bit more bullish so as long as they lead it's all good for now. |
