421  Local / India / Re: Any P2P trading platforms that are active? on: March 02, 2024, 12:49:18 PM
Do not use Indian merchants on any of the P2P platforms mentioned by others. If you buy or sell using INR then the chance of your bank account getting frozen is very high. Till today bank accounts are getting frozen when anyone is using Binance P2P and you cannot unfreeze the account easily. It is a lot of hassle for now and most Indians are avoiding P2P transactions on Binance or other CEX.

Let's to be clear, bank accounts who uses p2p is getting frozen is not because they traded crypto but because they recieved funds from a hacked bank account and someone used to make unauthorised transaction from the bank account and you sold your BTC after getting the payment but later when the actual owner of bank account raise complaint about this to Cyber cell then the account will be frozen until further due.

I have been using p2p platforms all the time but my account never faced such issue because I choose the right traders who are actually buying and selling as day trading not a newly registered account offering 30-40% higher rate than actual market rate.
I never knew that P2P can be used for trading. What you are saying is right and to be accurate account freeze have happened when a user is buying and selling crypto for INR. I cannot give you an example as I have never encountered something like this as I don't use P2P service.

Whenever I have to seel crypto for INR, I always use USDT as it doesn't show and gains as it is a stablecoin. This method helped me last year where I didn't pay any money as I did not fall under the crypto gain tax. This year I have used international exchange that doesn't ask for KYC for my trades. You need to find loophole in the system and I found it and I am using it.

I still think that some of the senior players would be rested. I guess Bhumrah, Ashwin and Jadeja will be rested for the 5th test. As India has already won the series there no point in selecting the seniors. There are a few players who have been on the bench. It is better to give them a chance in the 5th test. It would be a good idea to test them in case we replacement in any other test series.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I was able to donate Books to school pupils with my little Campaign Bitcoin on: March 02, 2024, 12:21:31 PM
Such initiatives is what giving a positive image and mouth to mouth publicity. I am truly happy for these children who got books which will help them in their studies and also help their parents who had to spend their hard earned money to buy stationary. This kind of initiative keep humanity alive and helps Bitcoin gain more support from the society. The next generation would understand that Bitcoin can be advantageous for them and would adopt it in their daily live in future.
424  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF will be listed in Brazil! on: March 02, 2024, 11:51:50 AM
So blackrock has started capturing the crypto market as envisaged. When a company with 13 - 14 trillion of asset under management, gets into crypto market, they enter  with the intention of controlling it. There is a famous saying about blackrock, that Larry do not want to own asset, he wants to control it.

Most unfortunately in couple of years, blackrock may be controlling the entire crypto market. It definitely won't be a good news for the common people like us.

That was the point of coming up with ETF and then being the first one to apply for its approval. The demand and the current market situation do show how much investors are buying it. I still do not think that they will be able to control Bitcoin as there are others who are also heavily investing in Bitcoin. Micro Strategy is one such company that will challenge Blackrock in the future.
425  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 01, 2024, 01:51:43 PM
^ A lot of complaints are unreasonable and unworthy to solve. As I have seen some of the on the scam accusations board where the refund was done due to a glitch and still the user is not happy. It has been like this after a lot of scam accusations has been solved. What I feel is that they would continue to get some genuine and some extortion cases. I hope the team is ready for those issues which might ask them to prove themselves on the respective threads.

This case and the user in question is a scammer.
He is trying to free roll the site.
There is no merit to his second story and he is just blackmailing bc.
He blames them that they didn't pay out a bet "fast enough" so that he could use these winning funds to counter bet another losing bet. In the end he lost all his money, also the 1000$ they refunded him, that's karma.
In other words, he is broke and desperate, also has a gambling addiction as he stated himself when he made yet another scam accusation ( with his alternate bitcointalk account ) against rollbit when they didn't follow through the self exclusion.

I saw your reply and at that point I understood. These guys disguise themselves as a genuine users deliberately to an extent that they feel they are invincible. That doesn't mean the casino cannot be questioned. If a casino is trying to resolve issue and does pay those affected with the amount they as in the user bet with initial amount. Then why these guys think they can operate an extortion scheme? If I was in that situation then I would have been happy with what my refund.

427  Local / India / Re: Shadow Ban on Crypto Exchanges on: March 01, 2024, 11:42:46 AM
Just an FYI to everyone around here. Please check whether you guys are able to open up any of those banned exchanges. I am able to open binance.com using my Airtel mobile connection. I was also able to open mexc global and OKX exchange. I am not sure but I think the url ban has been removed. I tried searching these exchanges on the Play Store but failed to find the apps.

With my local broadband, I was able to access those exchange URLs while you guys were struggling. Not sorry for you guys as in India things are pretty different in different states. I am an Airtel Black customer and I have the option to use their DTH and wifi for free. I still preferred my local broadband which I have been using for about 5 years now with a speed of only 50Mbps as I knew some shit will happen with cryptocurrencies in India in the future.

If the government has removed the ban then it is a positive sign. I did try accessing Binance with my Jio mobile connection and it failed. It is either a glitch with the Airtel network or I need to check again tomorrow. I will let you know about it as soon as I find out that I can access these URLs with my Jio mobile connection.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: dice9.win – simple, fast and provably fair crypto games on: March 01, 2024, 10:50:07 AM

LOL.

You can report this thread to the moderators, don't need to wait for @OP to move the topic by himself.

If this thread is moved to gambling board, it means I'm wrong.

If this thread is still posted in Altcoins board, it means you're wrong.

So, let's see which one is correct, arguing back to back won't solve anything (or you can open a thread in Meta).

I had reported the thread to the mods yesterday itself. He wasn't active yesterday as I can see he was active on the 28th. So, yes let's wait for the mods to decide and see who is correct and who is incorrect. Anyways it will be the OP who would be happy as his thread is getting engaged 😃
429  Local / India / Re: Any P2P trading platforms that are active? on: February 29, 2024, 04:54:07 PM
There is really nothing as a P2P platform for India. If you use anyone of the banned CEX you would get your account freeze. If you use localmonero then their is nil guarantee that you won't encounter a merchant of Indian origin who's is going to scam you. It is better to avoid a P2P exchange as soone and not lesser you would encounter your Bank account getting frozen. Stay away from P2P or try your luck.

BTW, onramp being a big fee swallowing platform does well with conversion of INR to buy coin or sell  pin to buy INR. You would still need to pass KYC if you are Indian.or an NRI having a valid OIC card. If not then you can't do anything for now. As the government crackdown on fake or useless OIC card has been big. This has gone to an extent that many NRI's have lost thier properties in India.

Can you please share the link to the rule that says that Gambling board cannot accept gambling platforms that do not accept Bitcoin? I have seen so many altcoin-based casinos that have their ANN on that board. What sense does it make to shift this thread to the Altcoin board?
I can't find the rule or quote from the moderators, but there was a thread propose to add altcoins gambling board since he aware if casino ANN thread that didn't accept Bitcoin will be moved to Altcoins board. But this thread could be a reason Giveaways and games that pay out altcoins do NOT belong here and just any service that not accept BTC will be moved to Altcoins board.

If you see there's Altcoins-based casinos that didn't accept Bitcoin is posted in gambling board, it means no one had reported the thread yet.

You are coming up with excuses for your wrong reply. It is obvious you are not sure about what you wrote earlier, mistake happen but look what you have done now. This thread is in the altcoins board where OP will not be able to get the users he wanted with that OP. I have reported this thread to the altcoin board mod and he should look into it wherever he is online. @dice9win please ignore what was written earlier on your thread about moving this thread to the altcoin board. I am sorry about the response of my fellow members and it would be better for your business to move this thread to the gambling board.
431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coingecko - portfolio tracker? on: February 29, 2024, 02:03:14 PM
Your profits may have been calculated from the beginning of the year, or the last 6 months, and not from the start date of your investment.
Are you sure you have added all your investments and all of your balance calculations are correct and up to date?
Are you sure of the increase percentage, and that the method of calculating it in Coingecko is the same as yours?

As you have written the profits may have been calculated from a certain period I still wonder why the tracker is incorrect. Considering your resolution then February is the month when we are experiencing a bull run and 2023 was a year of the bear for the crypto market. I do not think what you have said is correct as it does not make any sense when we are in a bull market and the portfolio tracker is showing an actual depreciation of 20%

I think the OP might have encountered a glitch or the coins/tokens he invested might have gone down from the previous high. This is only possible if the OP has invested in meme coins which was hyped earlier and now it is not. Either way, using a free and incompetent portfolio tracker would result in the wrong outcome and it is better for OP to either learn from his mistake and work around with AI on an Excel sheet to get a tracker for himself. Relying on a third party would always result in such confusion.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Funds are SAFU": Here we go again, but with Coinbase! on: February 29, 2024, 01:40:01 PM
This is more about an exchange which is Coinbase. This topic is better to be on exchange board.

It is not about exchange it is about the panic the exchange created as Bitcoin soared to $64000, which is why this topic is relevant to the Bitcoin board. If it was absolutely about an exchange glitch then I would have agreed with your reasoning. The glitch happened as a lot of users were trying to sell Bitcoin which is the reason why the Coinbase website and its app were not able to handle the traffic and users panicked more when they saw zero balance which caused them to halt all transactions of Bitcoin for a brief period.

Hello! Welcome to the forum.

Your announcement thread must be attractive enough for forum users to check your platform. Why not buy a Copper Membership? It will allow you to post images on your thread which will help forum members to get a preview of your platform.

I am not a big fan of dice games as luck never supported me whenever I played. That doesn't mean others here are not, In will skip visiting and testing your platform for now. Later on, if I feel my luck is with me, I will try it.

This section is only for casino that accept Bitcoin, since you (currently) not accept it, you need to move your thread to Altcoin discussions, otherwise the moderator will move it when someone report your thread.

Can you please share the link to the rule that says that Gambling board cannot accept gambling platforms that do not accept Bitcoin? I have seen so many altcoin-based casinos that have their ANN on that board. What sense does it make to shift this thread to the Altcoin board?
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hodl, bitcoin will do the silencing. on: February 29, 2024, 12:40:30 PM
Against all odds and getting lectured by IMF and negative media coverage, President Bukele did the impossible of making Bitcoin as a legal currency of his country. That decision is now paying off and every international media house is covering the news. This is another great example struggling economically countries should take from El Salvador. Not only President Bukele is trying to improve the living standard of his citizens but is in the process of making his country crime free. Every nation needs such great leader who thinks out of the box and makes a difference.

Ishan Kishan is now certainly having a mental break down after him getting released from the central contract. This was going to happen to him as he took everything casually which the BCCI has been conveying him earlier. PR for Iyer are now active on X.com as I saw a good amount of cricket influencer supporting him and asking BCCI question. In the meantime Jay Shah busy preparing to visit Jamnagar to enjoy Ambani's son grand wedding.

Scammed more than 100k!!!

Keep in mind that there might be individuals, such as yourself, who could potentially respond with an alt account. If you have posted your concern on this thread then please quote it with my reply as that would help the OP in handling your issue. I was happy when I saw that all issues have been resolved and now I am eager to see the reply from @betnomi and to see the outcome. I am certain that this alt account has always been doing what it does best which is a question. without any reasoning as I did check the activities and past posts from the beginning.

438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do you love league cricket? What do you think about prediction contest? on: February 28, 2024, 12:36:39 PM
I have been an avid cricket lover from the day I understood cricket. I do bet on cricket depending on the cricketing events happening around the globe. I still do not understand why cricket lovers within the forum (except a few) are not interested in betting pools. Lately, I saw a good amount of forum members engaged in competitions and they were successful according to the engagement that thread had last year.

I have been following the cricket prediction contest from last year wherein someone came up with a prediction contest for ODIWC. I saw many cricket individuals participating enthusiastically, and a few of them won Bitcoin as it was a sponsored event. Considering a few big events this year with Cricket such as IPL and the T20WC, please share your experience participating in the past contest. Please share what can be improved and how you feel about a sponsored prediction contest.

I would love to hear from everyone what hampered you to participate in it. I would like to hear from everyone who participated in that contest what made you feel that the contest was not transparent. What made you leave the contest in between and what made you think that the contest could have been more competitive? Please answer my question to help me understand the outcome of any prediction contest. I am asking these questions to help myself if I plan to have something like it.

P.S: This is not a discussion about betting but finding reasons.
439  Local / India / Re: [January 2024 update] Indian Board activity on Bitcointalk on: February 28, 2024, 12:01:22 PM
What is that pakhitheboss was second last month and I am at the top  Wink .

Good to see someone taking the lead with posting on the local board. Yeah, it has been some time since someone dethroned me from the top position. Congratulation @Bureau as after a year you are now a Senior Member. Please keep on the good work and be active.

Compared to other board like Bangladesh and Pakistan the number of active members are very less here, so we can only climb further if new members join that hopefully happens since the price started to surge already before the halving.

It is very difficult to gain activity on the local board as a handful are regular on the board. I am again going to try to increase the activities by starting a contest on our favorite sports. I do not know how effective it would be as I understand a lot of Indians hate to be on this board due to its past. I have committed myself in getting our local board at par to our neighbors and if everything goes in our way then we will be able to gain a good outcome in graphs.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of Bitcoin hit a new all-time high? on: February 28, 2024, 11:21:49 AM
What I have understood so far is that Bitcoin does not repeat history after a few years as it used to do earlier. I remember in 2017 it went into the bull run mode from November to December. The reason is 2016 being the halving year and the same happened in 2021 as 2020 was the halving year. Before halving the price of Bitcoin is supposed to plummet or a correction is expected. This year the price did not correct itself why? The reason is Bitcoin ETF, what we are seeing is the ETF effect and we might continue to see such bull run in the market due to Bitcoin.

Currently, Bitcoin is trying to break the resistance at the $60000 level. IMO it would be broken in the next couple of weeks and we might get to the last ATH before the halving date. We still have approximately 52 days left and it is a possibility that Bitcoin within those days might break its ATH or reach the ATH price. It is too complicated to predict the price of Bitcoin as there are a lot of reasons behind the price. I only see the ETF as the reason why Bitcoin is now going through a bull run.
