Passion_ltc, could you give us an update on the status of BTER? Are deposits enabled yet?
Not as of this moment. Polo is up and running. Boris spent several hours with them to get it online.

I discovered a bug...... the BACK button was invisible on the FORGING page. There is now an updated version 9a that fixes that. A work-around was to login to FORGING, and click on "save the pass to the config file". Then restart the node and avoid the Forging page, as forging will start automatically that way.
|
|
|
BTW........... On the FORGING page, you MUST see "Forging Enabled" or you are not forging.

Why's the Crypti trading frozen on poloniex?
i think they are updating wallet? Everybody MUST update the wallet......... old versions would be on a wrong blockchain fork.

I just downloaded and installed 0.1.9a.
Everything went well, and the BC synced in a few mins.
The Node Reward Program has been running for over an hour now.

how much time need to download blockchain?Blockchain loading few hours...
If the BC does not load in10 mins, close and restart the node. It happened to me as well running the node on my miner. Too much net traffic or too little RAM remaining.

Hi dev
please let us know how the account Id and public-key are generated ?
thanks
hash from secret key to ed25519 please provide more info. do you mean that the secret key is hashed (sha256 ?) then to ed25519 ? Yes, sha256 hash and from this hashes ed25519 generates public and private key. It's like brain wallet works: nxt, bitcoin (brain wallet). i've successfully generated a valid ed25519 public and private key from a hashed secret key, please let me know how the account id is generated ? Are you building a hacking program? No, im building an opensource vanitygen to generate nice/small Account Ids like 11111551C OR 1999888000555C. In which language? i will build in 3 languages that have ed25519 ported: Java, Python, node.js. I believe that is already available open source from MIT.

Windows Client using not so fast 2in1 laptop took 10-15 minutes. Later, my Windows 7 desktop with ssd took like 5 minutes to load the blockchain. should only take 10 mins or so. My laptop syncs in 10 mins. I loaded the node on my miner, becuz it is always on, and my laptop is not, but it took an hour to load the BC. Too much net traffic from cgminer I figure.

BTW, the new wallet/node does not show the number of forged blocks which your node forged. You can only check the ACCOUNT tab to see if your balance went up.
|
|
|
The NRP, Node Reward Program is up and running as well.......... paying .375 XCR per forged block average. SO get those wallet nodes up and forging!!!

What version Windows?
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 Boris is working on it.
|
|
|
npm.cmd crashing (Windows). Any ideas? What version Windows?
|
|
|
Version 1.0.9 windows installs in about 10 mins. The BC downloads/syncs in about 10 mins now, instead of the 2.5 hrs previously.
Easy navigation from FORGING page to ACCOUNT and BLOCKCHAIN page.
Node only using 250MB RAM, on Win7 64 bit

i have not been following in the thread but are you telling us that crypti now uses Dpos as in delegated pos like the bitshares? What about proof of importance is that still part of crypti? any other algorithms that we may want to know about?
Proof of Importance wasn't one of our initial goals and I don't recall us ever using that term, but you could be mixing up the terms with one of the principles we initially mentioned. Our goal was to reward users for running a node and contributing to the network in worthwhile ways. To us, that meant being a consistent and strong node, spending Crypti, and being a merchant that accepts Crypti. After developing our initial system, we ran into a lot of problems trying to establish consensus and decided to go back to the drawing board. After serious consideration, we had several proposals for how we wanted our network to function. The system we were developing internally in regards to our thought process, involved having set nodes, that would be nominated by the users, but would still be trusted and unable to be gamed. The more we sat down and thought about what we wanted to build, it was obvious that DPOS provided a lot of the functionality we wanted and has already been battle tested and proven to be a sound system. We are big fans of what Bitshares has done and all that they have accomplished. We have not made the switch to DPOS yet and are using a much simpler system right now. We have been working on reforming, optimizing, and nailing down our node.js code for the infrastructure of the network, databases, and blockchain. All of that being said, our next release, 0.2.0 will enable our version of DPOS. It is a modified version of what BitShares uses to incorporate some of the ideas we have and is a variant of their system (which is open source) in the same way that many coins in the beginning were offshoots and alterations of Bitcoin. We feel like DPOS is the best solution for what we are trying to accomplish, we are simply going to be giving it our own flavor. I don't feel like we are saying, "hey, we improved bitshares", or "we made bitshares better", because I honestly believe they have a very well developed system with some great minds behind it. What we are saying is that we have adapted it to meet the needs of what we want to accomplish with Crypti. So TL;DR, we aren't DPOS yet, but will be in 0.2.0. It is based off of Bitshares code and it will have some tweaks and alterations to meet our needs. Can I think this is the stark fake? You CAN think that. You can also think that pigs fly. In both cases, you would be wrong. The Crypty code has been altered so that we are able to implement the upcoming killer features, like Custom Block Chains and smart contracts. The new code will make it possible for users to make a smart contract with clicks and text from within the XCR wallet, instead of paying a dev to write them. Crypty is a project in constant motion and adapting to the constant changes and needs of the crypto community. Perhaps you should stick with a coin that is stable and unchanging.......... like LiteCoin or MaxCoin.

Important that you keep checking this site today............. Major announcement pending........
BTT has been down, which delayed everything......

OK, you changed the site to a new game, but you still owe me 128000 sats from months ago, and my current game had 138000 sats earned, you paid me 88,000 sats.
That is about 1/3 of what you owe me. When you gonna pay the rest?

Bitcoin go to zero is there any chance for xcr BTC cant go to zero. It could go to 1 cent, but not zero. If BTC went to $1, then one XCR would be worth 2-10 BTC. If BTC went to 1 cent, then XCR would be worth 100BTC each or more.

The coins that are going to appreciate in value next year are the coins that have other uses besides trading for fiat and other cyber coins. Coins that are only good for trading for other coins are dead now. A coin needs an active dev team and constant new features to be mainstreamed and appreciate in value. Crypti, XCR, is adding custom block chains, DPOS, 1 minute blocks, forging with only a 1000 coin investment. They are even developing a minicomputer coinbox for forging and trading. The coinbox will handle XCR and another coin, and will sell for less that $100. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654463.7120
