Arsenal and Liverpool have little chances and their only and major hope is for City to be able to get a draw in at least one match but for that to be an added advantage they’ve got to make sure they themselves are able to gather all 3 points in their remaining 6 matche. Arsenal will be having the major challenge as they have about 4 top teams to face in their final and in about 48hours they’ll be having the first test, Chelsea. I don’t think Arsenal will be able to challenge Liverpool or City especially as these 2 teams have a better experience on battling at the top of the table as compared to Arsenal who are very good bottlers of the league when they’re expected to win. City at the top of the table doesn’t seem to get weak whenever they get to that position and you can imagine how much the team will be willing to go for that. Yes If it’s true Pep is leaving then the team will want to also want to win the league for them as this is going to be his last legacy for the club and to the players before his departure. PSG vs Dortmund in the UCL semifinals again after they’ve both faced off each other in the group stage phase of this year’s ucl with psg being the better team. I think this year’s Ucl will be no different because psg seems to be in a bery comfortable position than this Dortmund side whilst they head into this fixture. PSG will be solely focusing on this competition and as such you can only imagine how top their preparation will be whilst they head into this competition as compared to Dortmund. Dortmund are in a fierce competition for top 4 spot in the league and as such which simply means they’ll be battling out on both this one and the UCL also which means a shift in their preparation ahead of this UCL encounter. With this double preparations Dortmund will have to encounter, this doesn’t give psg the room to underestimate Dortmund because they could be able to hurt them just like they did to Athletico Madrid. PSG haven’t yet been able to reach the level of teams like Real Madrid that you’ll be so sure that they’ll be able to overcomr this challenge. Thanks to the victory in the postponed match, Sporting managed to get away from Benfica who are in 2nd place and now the point difference is 7 which makes it difficult for Benfica to catch up.

Though Bayerm haven’t been real consistent especially in the league as they happened to lose out woefully on the league to Bayern Leverkusen but you can’t say the same for the way they play in the UCL. In the Ucl, Bayern seems to be more fierce and I believe Real Madrid won’t underestimate them while they get into the match. Of course Real Madrid is considered to be favorite for this year’s UCL trophy but you can’t seem to underestimate Bayern because they too have been able to win the UCL trophy and also their coach just won it recently with Chelsea. As such they should understand the threat this Bayern side pose and shouldn’t overlook them based on their league performance. Of course the match will be one interesting one especially as both teams have shown resilience in getting to this stage of the competition, this alone makes the match to be one fierce one that we look up to. Real Madrid extended their contract with Ancelotti and this season they have proven by having several opportunities that they are the strongest candidates to win titles in several competitions.
This season has really been really great season for Real Madrid, this is clearly revenge from last season where they didn't get anything from every important competition they took part in.
Only team that is able to compete with Real Madrid is Barcelona for La Liga and their rivalry has really been an eternal rival for long time, I remember when Barcelona still had Messi and Real Madrid with Ronaldo, this was an epic rivalry momentum.
In the past I remember how successful Barcelona was when Carles Puyol was still one of Barcelona best captains.
So far this season, Real Madrid have been very much active and set towards the La Liga trophy goal. They've in many weeks played games and ensured good results that's gotten and kept them in the top spot of the league table. Even though a couple of times, their performances have been reducing in range, they've still being able to manage a win before the end of the game. Well, they still have the champions confidence and determination in them too, adding that their manager is very much experimental in his approach to their games. They're a good team and they sure do know how to fix up their errors. Well it's very much essential that they correct errors faster and avoid incidents that are drastic and costly to occur as the times left won't entertain mistakes because it'll only be irreparable. Their encounter against Sevilla well ended in a victory for them but they ought to have done better. Their performances in time past was enough evidence to show how capable they are for the game against Sevilla. Well, I don't know exactly who to blame though but I feel they're starting to take chances too. I think it only got scary and dangerous two games ago when they took on Vallecano and were left to a draw. Now one would think how such proactive team playing the host would succumb to a visiting team who are less performing than they are. Well that's the unpredictable nature of football. Sevilla themselves have all time being tough contenders in the league, giving big teams tough times too and it's understandable that they were able to ensure and cover up all the chances Madrid tried to make in the game. Roma has good experience in the Europa League and wants to repeat the performance like last season, namely reaching the Europa League final but they have to get past Leverkusen first before they can reach the final, no club has been able to stop Leverkusen. Even one of the Premier League club has not been able to stop it and I think Leverkusen will continue to be impressive no matter what opponent they face. Roma is not an easy opponent for Leverkusen if you look at H2H. Leverkusen have never beaten Roma in their 4 previous meetings and Roma themselves have beaten Leverkusen 2 times and last season Leverkusen was also eliminated by Roma so I think this match is quite difficult to predict.
But this season seems different for Leverkusen, they are in very good form and are unbeaten, but if Roma are able to stop Leverkusen it will be a very good achievement because so far this season no club has been able to beat Leverkusen. Meanwhile, in the Atalanta vs Marseille match, I think Atalanta will be the favorite to win this semifinal because of its success in beating Liverpool and the possibility of advancing to the final and facing one of the tough clubs, either Leverkusen or Roma.
At the moment, the UEL this season is left with 4 teams set to battle it all out at the semi finals. The strongest team said to be Leverkusen will be facing the second toughest Roma and I must say it all seems like the UEFA board wants Leverkusen to go home with the trophy. Comparing the probability of the game outcome taking into consideration both teams performances so far, Leverkusen is the better side and they have the greater advantage over Roma. Yes Roma can be competitive and can make the game tough but Leverkusen's record won't let them stay down to be defeated. Really it'll be a game to look out for as in the first and second legs, both teams would put up their best to seeing if they can secure the 3points. The last two teams aren't much of big strengths as they've had minor records so far in their European cup quests. If either of them wins, it'll be a walkover game for their final opponent because either Roma or Leverkusen would be a better side to them considering experiences gained and domestic league performances this season. Atalanta or Marseille aren't tough teams and if I'm to predict the qualified team to be, I'd go for Atalanta based on they are a little above the average performance of their normal performance. The semi finals won't be an easy battle as anything really can happen on the field of play. |

Leverkusen's qualification to the semi finals of this season's UEL was also historic as they kept their unbeaten record still in play after drawing to West ham. This season they've been an undaunted team and they really have all it takes to finish the season with the unbeaten record intact and two trophies in their shelf. Their next UEL opponent is competitive but it's not really a big deal for them based on the fact that they have gained enough confidence and have even being in tougher encounters which they've at thesame time comfortably come out from victoriously. Roma themselves know that they won't be up for a joke game in the semi finals stage. We all thought UEL would be fair enough to make an encounter between Leverkusen and Liverpool but we also forgot that football can't always be as it seems as Liverpool, the big team who were projected to stay longer in tbe contest were eliminated by a smaller team who really stands little chance to bring down Leverkusen if peradventure they get to go up against each other in the final game. This weekend, Leverkusen would still definitely maintain their unbeaten track record and 99.9% still uphold this record in the domestic league till the season runs out and for their UEL race, the chances to maintain the records are still feasible. I'm sure PSG can beat Dortmund if they really play with different tactics and strategies than before, at least they can easily outwit Dortmund in terms of strategic play on the field, but many predict that the UCL final will be the meeting place for Munich vs Dortmund, but I'm sure that's not the case. will happen because Madrid will get rid of Munich and PSG will get rid of Dortmund, the most appropriate UCL final meeting is PSG vs Madrid where of course Mbappe can show his abilities in front of all Madrid supporters that he is still a quality player. This match once again shows how much this Luton defense is poor as they’re always know to be conceding over 3 goals. I think with the way they are conceding they might not be able to still remain in the top flight but par adventure they still remain, I think the coach needs to quickly fix up his defense line because the EPL doesn’t need you conceding so much like that. If you keep conceding you keep the attackers under much pressure to be able to score for the team to cancel out on goals conceded. Burnley winning Sheffield, I’m not surprised because in over 60 years, this Sheffield team has been the worst team whilst playing at home in the EPL. Burnley seems more balanced than this Sheffield side and as such, I’m not expecting something different from the scoreline. At the relegation zone, I think if Burnley can keep up this energy when they play United next then we could see some interesting competition at the bottom of the table but for now, I think the 3 clubs that came from relegation should please return. Well Real Madrid showed resilience and a very strong winning mentality and that was essential for them to be able to overcome this Man City side as it helped them hold this Man City side all through 120’’ and them go ahead to defeat them on penalty shootouts. The way Real Madrid handled the game is the kind of mentality that’s needed in top matches as it helps a team come out victorious and with this kind of mentality you can start seeing Madrid as the next European Champions. A semi final has been set between Real Madrid and Bayern and that match is somewhat similar to that of Man City, just that Bayern at the moment aren’t in best of form but based on past experiences, you can believe they’ll be a match to Real Madrid. I don’t think it will end in a penalty shootout though because Madrid seems more fierce and would be able to get the win with enough goals at the Bernabeu and could probably get a draw at Germany. A final with Psg is actually a dream one as we will all want to see how Mbappe will be able to play against his soon to be club and if he will be able to help Psg with their first Ucl trophy.  Inconsistency? Have you been following them lately or you're just here for post count? Lol. They have just lost a game in the year 2024 in the Premier League Competition. I don't understand when you say they're not consistent. In the month of February, they scored a total of 30 goals in the Premier League Competition so I don't know where this inconsistency is coming from. I don't think in the Premier League Competition it's about mentality for Arsenal, Glad to also see people giving Mikel Arteta his flowers. I Have a problem with why he would change his winning squad fir another. That changes, had it's effects during the game against Aston Villa. It's just a lose for now, they have from now until the end of the season to fix things real quick. Like I always say, it's not over until it's over and never say never. Off course, fans would be vexed. The change of players affected the rhythm of how they've been scoring and playing. Yes they are not inconsistent because the way they bottle the league when they have the best advantage is quite worrisome. I think the person meant to say they’re consistent in bottling because that’s what this team does continuously and sincerely, the fans are getting tired already of this because with this kind of team and they’re not winning the league when next will they be able to win it. This team with all her goals is not able to consistently keep banging those goals and yet you say they are wrong for calling them inconsistent. Sorry but it seems looking at the current points and remaining games I don't think there will be any changes to the leaderboard until the end of the season. With 4 matches remaining I think it is almost impossible to change the standings, except for AZ Alkmaar and AJax. PSV and Feyenoord have secured tickets to the UCL next season because their points are no longer possible for other teams to catch up with. Twente is 5 points ahead of AZ Alkmaar. They will face AZ Alkmaar in May. Their other three matches will be against relatively weak teams. AZ Alkmaar is 7 points ahead of Ajax. This means that if Ajax is able to win all the remaining matches then they will collect 60 points. AZ Alkmaar only needs 2 wins to secure their position from Ajax. But they have tough games left as they have to play against NEC, Twente, Go Ahead Eagles and Fc Utrecht. And Ajax have an easier match than Alkmaar. I hope that at least Ajax can qualify for the UEL next season.
Well football they say isn’t always over till probably after the final whistle. This is one of the fun facts about football that keeps us glued to our screen each time we watch a game of football. In the match in the Eredivisie League, we saw some beautiful comebacks between Ajax and Twente. Twente took the lead quite early and the lead lasted a while and you’ll think that the game’s pretty over but surprisingly Ajax were able to turn things around and get maximum points. For the Nice vs Lorient match, I’ll rather play a combo of double chancing Nice and Under 2.5 because Nice are good defensively and the ball could just go round the field for the 90 mins without finding the back of the met. |

Liverpool elimination from the European League means the 3 top teams can focus on the EPL alone to fight for 1 trophy. Man City who were just eliminated from the Ucl will continue in their bid for the FA Cup this weekend against Chelsea. Yes they are seen as the better team in that encounter but surprisingly Chelsea too shouldn’t be underrated as probably they could be coming to increase the woes for the Citizens after their Ucl elimination. A proper mentality is needed because these are the only 2 trophies left for them and dwelling on the elimination from the ucl might not be good for them rather, they’ve got to try to focus on these two cups. In the epl they’ll face Spurs who’re in a bid to get back to Top 4. This means more work after the game with Chelsea, you now understand why they need a strong mentality. Liverpool too got eliminated from the Europa league which brings them to focus more on the EPL and sane with Arsenal though but the fear is with 6 games to go, will a team still slip up. Arsenal who were in this kind of position last season with a wide gap ended up bottling, so this season not much hope was on Arsenal and as expected they too fell to a loss to Aston Villa. This took them to 2nd place and sincerely the hope of Arsenal winning isn’t there at all especially as they still have about 4 top teams to play out of 6. Man City haven’t been at their best this season thought but come on, they’re now top of the league and as you know City when they get an opportunity to climb top, they tend to fight to stay there. We are headed to the semi finals of the UCL and we already have 4 tough teams who’ll battle it to be at Wembley come June 1st, 2024. Yes amongst these 4 teams there’s a favorite already who’s in the mind of every football lover especially after they were able to overcome their fellow heavyweight across Europe in the Quater finals. The match between Real Madrid and Bayern will be to most viewed match in this stage of the UCL because mot much surprises are expected from the PSG vs Dortmund game as compared to this. The UCL is never short of surprises and who knows the surprise could be Bayern being able to go past Real Madrid to the finals. As funny as it may activate sound, it could actually happen especially when you consider the favt that this Bayern team haven’t been the best yet they still try to win. This alone shows hunger and determination especially as this is the only cup they are still on course to win. You can’t also underestimate Tuchel because he’s one coach that’s able to get the victory especially with a shaky Chelsea side in the ucl final. Though we trust Ancelotti to be able to bring down this bayern team especially as they don’t seem to be in the best of their form. |
