If anyone uses watchlist and wants a one click "unwatch" JS to add to their tampermonkey or grease scripts, just ping me. It's very simple and saves me lightyears of time in hitting "unwatch", then clicking again. This code simply adds a feature to the watchlist page that will allow you to unwatch in one click. Thanks for the tip. I will try this method on my PCGS-graded coin slabs (non-crypto collectibles) just to be safe. Other members suggested me to ask for a replacement slab from ICG, which is exactly what I'll be doing. Acrylic coin slabs are easily scratched, so the best way to protect them would be to place then inside a plastic ziplock bag and forget about the rest. I want to keep my collectibles in pristine condition, especially if plan to sell them for profit sometime in the future. Now the real deal would be protecting the slabs against fire and water, but I think placing them on plastic storage boxes (like the ones made by Pelican) would definitely do the trick. Wish me luck! yeah I've damaged more than one slab in my life on accident just in handling alone... 10 bucks is not too much to pay for a redo, IMO. Have done it several times with ICG, also a lot of times where they got the label not exactly right I had to send them back in for free "fixes" etc... I wouldn't even try to get the scratches out, I think it will end up being worse in the end, but IDK for sure ofc. |

Book has now been received after a brief spin inside a vortex courtesy of the delivery people.
The first of two pages has been done and the book will be dropped off sometime over the weekend for the second artist to draw from their craft.
Each of the artists has brought skills to the work with one in particular doing something along the lines of what I would have done had I been contributing.
From recollection Owlcatz is next on the recipient list, so I'll be in touch in another week or so and can either forward to minerjones or send directly as need be.

Is it better to store these in a box with little-to-no air flow and desiccants? (Those little "do-not-eat" packages)
Is a dry environment best or is a bit of moisture better?

Ideally, a climate controlled environment is best. I use an airtight box for unslabbed/ungraded coins, and yes I use dessicant packages as well, just to be safe. Metals and moisture are a bad thing IMO |

Its sad too, to throw your reputation away so early in the game. Couldnt he see that the real opportunity to make money was coming. The opportunity to sell these to the masses. Probably could of made hundreds of thousands legitimately and kept his reputation in tact.
Problem was for him... He apparently coulld not make it that far due to his mental health etc... I'm currently of the strong opinion that his abuse of drugs, alcohol, non-sleep, and EFFEXOR caused all this. He should be in jail. I've tried, but nobody will help really.. BTW, if you are considering flying there, make sure you know someone cuz you will NEVER get to his address or even to the right train unless you speak fluent french, so glwt. He's a complete scumbag, and belongs in jail, however his current status as "handicapped" due to autism, and all of the above, he's completely fucked. If anyone knows his mother, if she finds out, she will cut him off forever and it already sounds like that may have happened already. What a waste of life. Kinda surprised he's not living in the ghetto on the other side of the seine right now with all the other junkies, but he needs his meds, kitty-cat, and obvioulsy, a fuckin smack upside the head and a trip to the cop-shop, but I'm not convinced this will ever happen anyhow TBH... Been buying some packs and boxes but it’s really hard to justify at these prices on the secondary market. Hopefully they do another crypto/Bitcoin release at some point
