One question I'd like to ask: if a sovereign default precedes a bitcoin price fall (timing wise), could bitcoin acting as a safe haven asset hold off a fall to double digits? I think the p & d'ers & speculative price jumps have turned bitcoin into a 'self fulfilling prophecy' safe haven asset even if it really hasn't fully become a functional one yet.

The marketcap is too small to be a true safe-haven, plus you have most 'old' money almost completely ignorant of bitcoin and the tech.
424  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SALE!] Unobtanium Pure Silver Wallet - Plated available on: August 03, 2015, 05:35:22 PM
Manufacturing is finished and bars are on their way to me before packaging and dispatch begins. There are still a few left if anyone would like to pre-order which means they will ship between 8 to 10 days from now!

Thanks for all the awesome support- without everyone this project would not be happening. And remember that all those preordering will get a special extra as a thank you for the faith, support and patience Smiley
425  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SALE!] Unobtanium Pure Silver Wallet - Plated available on: August 03, 2015, 05:32:44 PM
To all those that preordered- still finishing off the manucfaturing so I don't think it merits a message. The bars are being laser engraved along with the latest run of Gox coins. Going smoothly so far!

Can't wait for the coxxed coins ... special meaning once again xD.

The coins and bars are being sent to me today- Mark had to go and get himself arrested... Half tempted to make a new coin. I think I should wait until a conviction or release first Wink

Sounds like a grand idea, let your temptation rage. A special footnot to the final chapter?

I think it deserves and entirely new coin for sure Smiley

It may deter him from including bitcoin if there's talk of the reports being shared around, I would like to get in at the bottom if we are going to see a massive dump  Cool

You could be right. But due to the nature of a group buy I think it would be unlikely that it is distributed far and wide. I'm interested in the gold trade too though. It's also a little frustrating for those genuinely interested in the information (and willing to pay) when it is priced so high for the average guy.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: August 01, 2015, 12:02:43 PM

IMPORTANT: Could someone please email Armstrong immediately and ask him to include some analysis of the Bitcoin price and potential bottom in his upcoming precious metals report (private assets correlation)? Tell him many of us will buy the report if he does. We really need his computer model's analysis of Bitcoin's price.

I've sent emails to MA in the past, since there are generally on BTC he seems to largely ignore them. But I've been thinking about a group buy of this report as $500 is more than it's worth me paying considering my small funds, but split amongst a group it is probably worth buying.

If anyone else is interested ping me a message and maybe I'll set up a thread.

Since there wasn't really a timeline given in the email, is there any ETA?

The first date was sometime in July, then that got moved to sometime in August.  Not sure if there are any further delays.

Yea there is no ETA from what I see. Ever since the delays, the previous timeline that was posted on indie gogo has never re-appeared or been amended. Since they are still working on tooling and manufacturing I'd guess at least another month or two.

I don't mind the extra wait, I'm just confused on exactly how long it will be. But a month or two is fine.

Hey pretty sure your thread title has an error, it says you have 4 (1)GB ram sticks and the post makes it seem like you have 4 4GB ram sticks, I don't think OCZ makes 1gb ram sticks for ddr3 and especially with fins.

If they are 4gb each, are you located in US?

Oops thanks. No I'm in Holland I'm afraid!

I'll get some photos up soon for the thread.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: July 30, 2015, 05:53:26 PM

I haven't seen armstrong write on crypto, cheers. Not much content in it- but at least a peek into Armstrong's opinions on them.

435  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 4 sticks 1GB OCZ DDR3 RAM & Supreme FX X-Fi Rampage II Extreme Soundcard on: July 30, 2015, 06:09:44 AM
Been used for about a year and been sitting in a box for the past 2.

4 sticks 1GB RAM OCZ DDR3 - the RAM also has fins and attachments (which come on) for watercooling if that's your thing. I've used them in the past without cooling.

Supreme FX soundcard

Make me an offer.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Free money available on: July 28, 2015, 06:19:45 PM
Has anyone really listened to this 'prophet'? Not a good time to short hard on bitcoin.

I don't follow many people on this forum, but TPTB (aka Anonymint) is someone worth listening too. His comprehension and ability to crystallize information from diverse (and relevant) sources is impressive to say the least.
437  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptosteel: The Ultimate Cold Wallet Private Key Storage System on: July 26, 2015, 04:36:30 PM
Ive never got anything on time from a crowd funded campaign. So I hope the delays won't be too long!
438  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ◯ Pure .999 Silver Coins!- 'Goxxed For The Last Time'◯ on: July 24, 2015, 10:08:49 AM

Thats 0.1468BTC each or 0.2808BTC for both at current preev rate!

Would be interested. PM sent!!  Smiley

Great,  I have family visiting right now so I will reply in the next couple of days 😊 thanks!

Where does Armstrong stand on banksters (EDIT: "and their power over .gov")?  I'm curious, perhaps by chance I have not seen him address the Bankster/.GOV/Military/Industrial Complex.

As far as I understand Martin Armstrong does not believe in a cabal controlling certain governmental/financial outcomes. I think he has made a few posts on it in the past on his blog.
