1421  Economy / Goods / Re: [RARE ITEMS] I got hacked, I'm now forced to take offers on RARE Museum items on: June 28, 2014, 11:02:54 AM
Shipping for the lot international will probably be closer to  £7-10 and £4.50 within the UK.

The prices I sent were for individual coins. But it'd be great if someone bids on the lot.
1422  Economy / Lending / Re: I've been hacked, and now I'm screwed (Can anyone help with a loan?) on: June 27, 2014, 04:55:10 PM
I agree. This is awesome.

I only have a couple of Gpus, but I hope that community members will take this up.
1423  Economy / Goods / Re: [RARE ITEMS] I got hacked, I'm now forced to take offers on RARE Museum items on: June 27, 2014, 10:01:37 AM

This guy/s are disgusting. Can the forum ban the ip address of these arseholes?
1424  Economy / Goods / Re: [RARE ITEMS] I got hacked, I'm now forced to take offers on RARE Museum items on: June 26, 2014, 08:39:32 AM
I'll bid BTC0.006 for each of the Antana coins.

And BTC0.05 for the lot of copper AOCS

Here's a forum image of the coins I've donated for auction:

hey dob, I know you're busy, but I hope you haven't missed my message donating some more items to auction for you.
1427  Economy / Lending / Re: I've been hacked, and now I'm screwed (Can anyone help?) on: June 21, 2014, 05:34:14 PM
Why not start up some crowd source donation project? Or something? Other then here?
That would help a lot more.

I agree, you'll only reach a few hundred forum regulars here in a short period.
1428  Economy / Lending / Re: I've been hacked, and now I'm screwed (Can anyone help?) on: June 21, 2014, 05:33:10 PM

The processes sound very similar to armory's features . But certainly worth following.
1429  Economy / Lending / Re: I've been hacked, and now I'm screwed (Can anyone help?) on: June 21, 2014, 08:29:33 AM
This sucks. I'll refund the coin payment you kindly sent.

Also, I will be happy to lend a small amount of BTC (just finished a contract so I'm gonna be strapped soon).

And I'd like to participate in the auction/buy from your site to help too.

To all those scam accusations out there, please look at dobs forum history.
1430  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: T13hydra - Thread Locked, Unofficial Disscusion on: June 18, 2014, 03:14:21 PM
I'll be following this up in the next week. I know that you guys probably don't think this will happen as I've not been on the ball.

I'm not expecting miracles from the solicitors, but at least you will know if this is viable.
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: June 18, 2014, 08:13:04 AM
The part that confuses me is that we already have many viable coins, why start one just for startjoin? I suppose it does give the ability to fund bounties and the like though. I suppose it could be interesting to see how this goes.
1432  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Motherboard and AMD Sempron 145 Processor on: June 16, 2014, 12:21:39 PM
£40 for the motherboard:

ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Motherboard (Socket AM3+, AMD 970, DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX, 2x PCI Express 2.0, Supports THX TruStudio, Premium Blu-ray Audio Support)

Looking for £12 for the processor:

AMD SDX145HBGMBOX Sempron 145 Single-Core Energy Efficient Processor (2.80 GHz, 1MB Cache, Socket AM3, 45W, 3 Year Warranty, Retail Boxed)

Little more than 2 years left on the warranty.

Been used in a little mining rig on and off for a few months. Open frame box in a dry non smoking home.

Based in the UK, will ship anywhere, but obviously the shipping costs may make this prohibitive outside of Europe.

Can use escrow if requested, but you will see from my trust and my coin sales that it would make no sense to scam for such a small amount of money.
1433  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best miner to buy when not paying for electricity? on: June 13, 2014, 08:59:39 PM
Thanks again Chuck. Again, the input is appreciated. I've been out of mining for quite some time.
1434  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best miner to buy when not paying for electricity? on: June 13, 2014, 08:47:39 PM
Thanks, it's a bit of a joint venture with a friend who's new to crypto. So maybe a cheaper one might be a good way to break him in to this expensive hobby Wink
1435  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best miner to buy when not paying for electricity? on: June 13, 2014, 08:22:20 PM
Get a couple of Dragons or A1 based miners @ 1 TH/s each.

They've come down in price so they're around the $1500-$1800 range now.

Either that or if you're more budget conscious, get a few Antminer S1s.

Thank you ChuckBuck. You're input is appreciated. I was thinking about the pricier ones you mentioned, but thought I'd pick some brains before diving in.
1436  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver and copper coins- Goxxed For The Last Time a (commiserative) coin on: June 13, 2014, 04:46:36 PM
thanks for the coin!

its funny, quality is not the best but good

Hi borg, thanks for the feedback! Was it the paint work that you were not impressed by? They are hand painted, but I try to send only the best ones.
1437  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Best miner to buy when not paying for electricity? on: June 13, 2014, 02:34:27 PM
So I haven't mined all that much for a while due to space and cost constraints.

But I have an office I can use for a few miners now.

What would you guys recommend as a good miner to purchase right now, taking into account I will have no energy costs?

I'm not wanting to spend more than a few BTC ideally.

Thanks!

I'm not exactly high level techy, so I avoid downloading anything unverified unless I have a sandbox VM or laptop to play with and unfortunately I don't have the time to try it at this point.

I'd love to list some of my coins on here when I get a chance though Smiley

3.  The 'hard' wallet idea is cool and will be a great way for non-techie people to buy UNO

I'm glad you like the idea. I am continuing work on this, but work is very hectic for me right now.

If I chose to I could have these manufactured within a few days, but I know the project deserves more care and time in terms of the design than just reeling off a bunch of half-assed ingots. I have been mulling over ideas for the finish and there will likely be two different types of finish to choose from.

I don't think I would require crowd funding, the initial strikes would only total probably 100 and I imagine that the community would be happy to purchase most, if not all of these.

But, if the community would want more/cheaper strikes of the hard wallet or very specific requests, preordering or pre-specifying preferences would be helpful.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Unobtanium Info & Discussion on: June 07, 2014, 09:38:22 PM
Can I pick your brains over the size you guys would like for a hard wallet?

I was thinking a good size:
8cmx4cm and 0.5cm thickness.

Or would you like them smaller say:

4cm x 2.5cm x 0.3cm thickness

I'm leaning towards the smaller size as it would lend itself to being more like a medium of exchange. The smaller fits in the palm of my hands comfortably and feels good, the larger may be too bulky.

Here's a bar of the same size for an example:

Thoughts or suggestions?

Looks like a good size. I'd like to see the name "Unobtanium" on it, though.

Good point. The 3d render is just a basic prototype currently, I agree with your suggestion. I'll rustle something up soon.
