421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping Dealers on: April 08, 2023, 09:07:48 PM
~snip~
For those who have ever tipped a dealer, have you been so satisfied with a dealer that you tipped them something other than a chip, money ?
^ For me, it is generally seen as a way to express gratitude for good service, while tipping with cash or chips is the most common way to show appreciation for a dealer's work, it is not unheard of to tip with something more unusual. But on my side, I will not give tips once I lose, I give tips when I am in a winning situation. However, they know already that tipping should never be seen as mandatory or expected, while it is a way to show appreciation only. That is a lucky dealer who has received car as a tip, probably that player who gave tip has won a big amount.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 08, 2023, 08:49:55 PM
So there should be a law on the promotion of casino gambling apps online in a very responsible way so that even minors are aware of this aspect of gambling just by using a cellphone that even a small amount can be gambled on casino online.
So you're asking every gambler need to verify their account first before they can gamble? some of casinos already do this, but it will not stop an unlicensed casino which let their gambler to play without need to verify their account. Verifying an account could minimize minor to gamble, but it doesn't stop minor to gamble because he can silently grab the ID card of his parent and registering with his dad ID.
If so, this requires adult supervision so they can keep an eye on their children so they never try to play gambling, let alone register with their father's ID. Even though this is difficult to do because their children can access the casino easily, parents can at least reduce their worries by watching it. But online casinos can provide greater risks than offline casinos because someone can visit online casinos without anyone knowing, let alone children who already know how to use their cellphones for various things.
^That it belongs to the parenthood to take responsibility for their children, monitor their activities, and keep an eye on what our children are doing online and offline. Be aware of any signs that they might be gambling, such as changes in behavior or unexplained spending. That is our responsibility to protect them from any form of a bad habit. We should be good role models, be responsible behavior by not gambling by ourselves in their eyes, and by demonstrating healthy ways to manage stress and cope with life's challenges.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 08, 2023, 08:39:44 PM
Martingale strategy in casinos. How do you feel about it?  Huh Huh Huh
^I don't like it, because it always gave me a negative result.
But you have a beautiful graph which is it works for you, martingale strategy is also based on luck, if you don't have this luck you will not survive in a long term, besides, the martingale strategy needs more funds to recover your loss. One advantage of the martingale strategy is that it can help you recoup your losses quickly IF you experience a winning streak and still you have funds to beat the house edge. You can keep folding bet your losses to recoup your losses and of course, it need more capital to do that.
424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Warning: ZKasino - Possible wallet phishing scam on: April 08, 2023, 08:31:07 PM
Correct me if I am wrong but, in case someone decided to access a scam DEfi casino using Metamask connected to a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger.
The website would not be able to steal the funds, would they?

Because in theory, any operation/signature would need to be approved from the physical device itself and then it would be obvious we are being asked to send funds to a different address. Unless, they make it appear to be an interaction with a smart contract so the victim may approve it?

I makes me wonder what they do in order to steal from a metamask-only wallet? Do they use a malware to steal the seed or trick the user to perform a transaction with a false message?
^ I don't know how it will work either but as far as I know, these attackers can possibly steal your fund through to have display a fake login screen or prompt the user to enter their seed phrase, which is then stolen by the attacker. Another tactic is to intercept transactions and replace the intended recipient's address with the attacker's address, resulting in the loss of the user's funds.
All kinds of wallets are not safe once your device gets infected with the virus, so we should be thankful of what OP shared here because if I were on that side, I did not also connect my wallet.

~snip~
But obviously, to avoid unnecessary problems in the future, this cooperation should be avoided.
^That is very obvious that could be led to a scam.
As you can see, OP wanted a user to send a PM for the offer which I think is a fraud or it could be losing your fund which is for sure will involve money. To remove doubt, it should be this open to discuss publicly what OP offer which I don't even quite understand what it is. Those who wanted to try must be careful.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 07, 2023, 10:07:21 PM
Not sure what you mean by rarest, as far as I know, there are a lot of big fights in this division in the past. The thing is that both are champions in this division so obviously they will have to fight and see who's the best.
What i mean is in the welterweight division, forgot to mention that. And we never have an undisputed in welterweight division for very long time. The outcome of this fight will have all the titles and still have zero loss if not draw, that's what i mean for the rarest fight lol.

Well, i hope it will be held this time.

That is why people want to see this fight happen, the welterweight is one of the divisions where it is talent-laden and where great names are built I consider this fight as a winner-take-all, the titles, the wins, and of course the greatest of this era, I have doubts about this fight but there's a date mentioned so the possibility is already there, but compared to the Garcia - Davis fight there's already a hype, I guess they don't want to eclipse the Garcia - Davis fight but of course, we want to see and read both camps update.
^ Definitely right.
The welterweight division is stacked with good fighters like them, and this fight between Crawford and Spence has probably the potential to elevate the division even further. It is a winner-take-all scenario, and whoever comes out on top will have a strong claim to being the best welterweight in the world. But as of now let us wait for further announcements which seems everybody here gave already conclusions about this fight. It is good to see that the fight is will finally happening, and I am sure that both camps will provide updates and hype leading up to the fight.
427  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 07, 2023, 08:59:03 PM

It should be considered as scam if it isn't mentioned on their TOS. You should read it carefully before to register on a platform. About your question, if a casino requires KYC you should submit it, usually they ask for it before

to pay that kind of sum in way to increase their control on the players.

About bonus, yes, consider it as a scam if they won't pay it to you after your deposit (at the same time, as said, follow rules stated on TOS).

That is it, if the casino did not mention KYC in their T&C it will be flagged as an outright scam if KYC is suddenly demanded, because it is not part of the rules and regulations but if it is mentioned in the term of operation KYC will be demanded at some point then the player should expect to ask for verification at any point and it doesn't matter wether the player wants to withdraw and tip some other players he will be required to pass through the KYC process.
^This is not new to the casino, they always ask for further enhanced KYC verification for the large amount to be withdrawn or deposited.
The most important is always to read carefully the TOS before using it or depositing your fund because it is rare for the casino now that don't have KYC when you win big.
OP, can you name that casino?
Because a scam casino will always be a scam even if you will follow the KYC procedure, if you want to get your money, there is nothing you can do is to follow the KYC.
428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before You Go All In on: April 06, 2023, 10:05:57 PM
Start trading just after you are bringing in a certain amount of steady income. Take a percentage of this income, which could be $100, $500, or $1,000, and start your trading career. This will help your trading journey develop into a lovely experience in which you learn more quickly, peacefully, and at your own pace.

In the other words, start trading when you can afford to lose your money in any amount.
But also, when you know that you are ready enough for this like we say " if you have knowledge in trading". Because many people had missed the point of having the importance of knowledge and skills, they'll think that if they have capital, they can start trading already. Of course, yes, but as we are talking about profitable trading, then we must do it otherwise, we just fail and lose our capital.
^Definitely right which I agree with you most.
We should have a solid understanding of trading principles and strategies before putting our hard-earned money at risk. While having a steady income can provide a stable source of income and it is still important to approach trading with a mindset of managing risk and preserving capital. Trading without knowledge and skills is like gambling, and that approach is unlikely to lead to long-term profitability. So, it's wise to invest time in learning the knowledge of trading, build up your skills, and then start trading with a small percentage of your income that you can afford to lose. Because for me, trading is not meant for everyone, not all will win and not all will lose.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What makes Binance stay strong despite all FUD ? on: April 06, 2023, 09:55:38 PM
Maybe its because we don't care? I mean there is technically nothing that Binance can do to keep the BNB price high for example, sure they can spend a bit, but they can't spend all their money on keeping BNB price high. So they need the public to not care about all these FUDs in and not sell their coins. Which is something we are doing and that's why the price is staying strong and the company does as well. Look at all those who talk about Binance and tell me a reason why I should believe in any of that and sell, its bunch of fake news to keep bnb low and I am not going to be a part of it.
Not actually people don't care because every investor does but these FUDs are not enough to change the faith of these investors and think about the negative future of this project. In fact, the government is a great enemy but because people are already that they are just throwing nonsense issues against Binance, they lose. But surely this game is not over yet, many FUDs will come and challenge investors again so we still be cautious and become updated on the situation - and putting FTX as an example.
^That is how the business will run, there is always competition on each side and sometimes we don't know they are creating FUD on their competitor just to shut it down and just like what happened to FTX, remember that CZ is one of the reasons why they shutting down. Binance has been able to stay ahead of the curve and mitigate the impact of FUD on its business. CZ's proactive approach to communication with regulators and stakeholders has helped to build trust in the Binance brand and foster a positive reputation within the cryptocurrency community. As the regulatory environment continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how Binance and other cryptocurrency projects continue to adapt and respond to changing demands and pressures.
430  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit Casino loosing value due to Licensing Ambiguity amongst users on: April 06, 2023, 09:19:50 PM
^ Because there are too many potential risks in investing in crypto token casinos we must be considered them before dropping our money.
It could be these, regulatory risks, market volatility risks, reputation risks, and liquidity risks will probably be the possible downside of the token casino and that is right, with proper research you will find out a good decision in investing in a token casino. So it is up to you to decide which crypto token casino to choose because dropping the price is pretty normal to me.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Existing Crypto Casinos Were Able to Churn Fiat Casinos User? on: April 06, 2023, 08:57:51 PM
They've done that online Cryptocurrency casinos are flourishing already and there's a massive gambler hopping from fiat to Crypto casinos its only a matter of time before the majority of casino players are on Crypto casinos, and features wise Crypto casinos are far better now, and as a gambler, you'd like to be in a casino where it can address and serve your needs like privacy concern.
^That is right and I agree with you, whether a player chooses to gamble at a fiat or crypto casino may depend on their individual preferences and priorities. Some players may prioritize privacy and security, while others may prefer a wider range of games or better bonuses. As both types of casinos continue to compete and improve, players will have more choices and opportunities to find the casino that best meets their needs. So I cannot decide which one of them because each of us has different likes and dislikes, even if a player chooses to gamble at a fiat or crypto casino may depend on a variety of factors, including their personal preferences, the reputation of the casino, and the availability of different games and features still we looking at.

Hi, does anyone have any past experience with histakes.io?
~snip~
^I don't even hear that casino name here at once.
Sorry for your bad experience in using gambling casinos but in the first place you should do more research before using that gambling sportsbook, how long you have been here in the forum? But now, you are here asking for help and opinion regarding that casino which is not very well known here so don't expect you will get feedback here in the community. Just stick to the forum gambling casinos and there is a guarantee that you cannot have a bad experience.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: April 05, 2023, 09:24:21 PM
I really need a clarification on this. Is chasing looses in gambling same as looking for closure because i recently read an article on reddit where the poster said that he will gamble untill he wins just to look for closure. I have been thinking about this for sometime now because closure has the same characteristics with chasing looses which is even when the gambler is loosing he will still be gambling just to recover all his looses.

That simply mean one thing, there is no actual closure that's going to happen, because chasing all your losses in gambling is close to impossible to achieve. Not unless if you have calculated all your accumulated losses and then put a single bet for the total amount that you lose  since day 1. Nobody would do that btw, as the risk are a hundred folds than betting at your normal range.
So, when someone wants closure, it's not necessary to chase those losses.
^Definitely right and I agree with you.
Chasing losses in gambling is a risky and often futile behavior that can lead to further losses and negative outcomes. It is not a reliable way to achieve closure or regain a sense of control over one's gambling behavior because there is a big difference between chasing losses and finding closure in gambling.
Besides, finding closure in gambling involves accepting losses as part of the experience and moving on from them. This may involve setting limits on one's gambling behavior, seeking support from friends or family, or seeking professionals will help you much better.
434  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit Casino loosing value due to Licensing Ambiguity amongst users on: April 05, 2023, 09:15:36 PM
~snip~
Hopefully, when the regulation issues get settled it could translate to a boost for the price and long term stability/ a solid bottom from their investors can grow from.
^ It is so sad to know this issue about them but I hope that it will be settled soon.
Rollbit has been here for years and I don't have a doubt it will make a shady activity (not because I am promoting them). The campaign was still there are they were willing to pay for each participant which means they want to continue their business here.
Whatever the reason, the Rollbit reputation was still there and that is only the license, the most important are they still a reputable casino.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 05, 2023, 08:46:00 PM
The competition is already big for online gambling casinos which I think is the biggest challenge for the new ones out there. Given that there are already a huge number of gambling sites existing, question for new projects, "what can you offer new to players?"
Because if it is games, rewards, and bonuses, there's plenty of platforms to do such thing. This simply dissolves the hype or simply somehow closes the door for new projects. But what kills the old ones are their service in general; the way they handle concerns of players which could be something to be improved by new sites. Problem is how would they be in the spotlight to give the improvement? Would be hard indeed.
^Becaus there are too many of them, just like hundreds of them and it is natural to have a competition.
New online casinos often struggle because of intense competition in the industry, regulatory challenges, and difficulty in building trust with potential customers. By taking the time to raise funds and build a solid infrastructure before launching a full-scale advertising campaign, a new online casino can improve its chances of success by ensuring that it has the necessary resources and infrastructure to support its growth and advertising is an important factor of any online casino's marketing strategy, and it is tough for them to get the word out to potential customers.
436  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empowering Individuals Through Statistical Analysis: Building a Casino Simulator on: April 05, 2023, 08:34:49 PM
This is indeed new and I never think that someone planning on creating a simulator about casinos. I think this is useful since you are much like gambling in a casino but only gambling without using real money or crypto to bet. I'll try it in later on and see if there's a problem with the simulator or as what Hispo said about the platform. If you created this yourself then this is a lot of work and time needed to spend to create this from the ground.

Thank you very much for checking it out and I hope you can give some valuable feedback once you try it out!

Yes, it took months of work and countless lines of code to build a working project, but it brings me joy and fills me with happiness to see it finally coming into life! I wanted to make it free for everyone since gambling is already hard enough as it is, so making this tool available for everyone was the best way I found to collect valuable feedback and keep expanding it!

Of course any revenue/tips people freely give to me will be of great use to continue building the project and eventually move it into a bigger server where I can set up a big Database to save all the valuable casino data we collectively share!
^ Hey, that is a great tool.
That is more enjoyable for everyone and while it is admirable that you are offering the simulator for free, however, you are right it should be to sustain the project financially, your dedication to creating a high-quality gambling casino simulator and making it available to everyone is commendable, and I wish you the best of luck with your project! Later on, I will try this project and install it, is it fully operational now even if it is in beta version?
Probably the best way is to post also here on this thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=12.0 (Project Development) which is for project developments that need funds.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 04, 2023, 10:13:33 PM
I don't think there is a best time to gamble, or if there is a time of day to gamble that isn't determined by work, leisure or social factors. If I were to guess when would be the most popular time to gamble though, I believe it would be during the time of night. I feel that gambling would be feel a lot more shameful for a gambler if it were to be done during the day in comparison to a weekend or during the night.
^ Probably I am in favor of doing it during the night which is what I usually do.
Many people do seem to prefer gambling during the nighttime hours, probably because it feels more private or because it's associated with a sense of excitement and risk-taking. It is also possible that some individuals feel more shame or stigma attached to gambling during the daytime when it probably is perceived as more of a distraction from work or other responsibilities.
The best time to gamble is the time that works best for you personally, don't have disturbances around.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 04, 2023, 10:04:45 PM
I play here on the cryptocurrency gambling platform, I don't think about whether a casino is transparent to its community. Because all I ever think about is that I should be able to enjoy gambling the day I decide I want to play.

Because if you don't have any problems with a casino when you win from time to time on their platform and you can withdraw properly,
then I think that you can think that the casino you are gambling in is well run.
after all OP only discussed about rain drops or bonuses for casino users, usually people like this will not focus on gambling what they are looking for is small money from rain drops or bonuses, I agree with you why we have to think about transparent casinos or not about drops and bonus, as long as the casino has a good reputation and we play it safe there in a few years why expect that.
^This is right and I agree with you.
A good reputation means a good casino because reputation cannot buy anyone, it should be gained by the casino through its long period of service without any major issues. Most trusted casino don't usually lure their users through their promotion it should be on their services and a good feature has why they stayed. And the last one, of course, every bet could be publicly verified.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: April 01, 2023, 09:40:07 PM
~snip~

So, from the look of things, don't you think that investing in Btc at the moment could be worth considering?
^Of course why not.
But before this, I just wanted to know if the amount that you will be going to invest is the amount that you can afford to wait.
Because there is no certain time that has a guarantee to make a profit upon investing in BTC but one thing that guarantees you is that in the end, it will give you a benefit. So if you have extra money there, that is a wise decision.
440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading ETH/USD or ETH/BTC on: April 01, 2023, 09:32:03 PM
Can you give me insight, do you think trading via ETH/BTC is more profitable than ETH/USD? Please give me an advice.
It's all about your analysis honestly. There is no correct answer to this. The pair you'll get a better trading grip on first should be your go to trading pair. ETH/USD is generally easy to trade as you have to trade with the market while ETH/BTC hasn't been that volatile lately as BTC and ETH have too much correlation with each other these days lately. So i think ETH/ USD is naturally better.
^ That is right, it depends on your analysis and of course, it also depends on the market situation.
Most likely, people use stablecoin pair when they saw the market going down and when it will go up they will use high volatile coin pair so that they will generate profit. We cannot say which is more profitable among them because it depends on us how to decide on which pair we use. After all, we have different analyses used in trading. I think I would with a high-risk pair, ETH/BTC would be a great choice.
