421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: March 02, 2024, 09:44:45 PM
OP, although I don't really understand your gambling tactics and I also don't have the same views on sports betting as you guys share. For me, I don't often bet on sports, or rather, most of the bets I participate in are fun, like betting on the team I like.

I think making the outcome important only reduces the fun of gambling, no matter what the outcome is, you are ready to accept it right from the start. Unconscious behavior but still getting good results can also be considered a stroke of luck for you. Anyway, congratulations on that result.
422  Economy / Economics / Re: Boycott of Chinese products and economic relations - when ? on: March 02, 2024, 09:37:13 PM
There could be smaller protest but I don't think there would be a large scale boycott or something about this.
Unlike the Israeli and the US who kidnaps and kills just because of being muslim, China is just calling the extremist sick.
There are studies that shown a decrease in domestic violence, crimes in general and number of child marriage and an increase in average income and prosperity of Ughyurs after the re-education and vocational trainings.
Muslims in China unlike the what western propaganda preaches has the freedom to go to the mosque and follow their religion.

Is this according to you "China is just calling extremists sick" !?!?

The Uyghur genocide (Uyg. ئۇيغۇر قىرغىنچىلىقى) is a series of human rights violations carried out by the Chinese government against Uyghurs and other ethnic and religious minorities in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. These actions have been characterized as forced assimilation of Xinjiang and ethnocide or cultural genocide.
Since 2014, the Chinese government has implemented a policy that has resulted in the summary imprisonment of more than one million Chinese Muslims (most of them Uyghurs) in so-called "re-education camps" without trial. This is the largest mass incarceration of ethnic and religious minorities since World War II.
Thousands of mosques have been destroyed or damaged, and hundreds of thousands of children have been forcibly separated from their parents and sent to boarding schools. Anti-Uyghur measures also include forced labor, suppression of traditional religious practices, ideological treatment, abuse, forced sterilization and contraception, and forced abortions.

According to Chinese government statistics, the birth rate in the predominantly Uighur regions of Hotan and Kashgar fell by more than 60 percent between 2015 and 2018. Over the same period, the birth rate in the country as a whole fell by 9.69%. Chinese authorities acknowledged that Xinjiang's birth rate fell by nearly a third in 2018, but denied reports of forced sterilization and genocide. In 2019, Xinjiang's birth rate fell another 24% with a nationwide decline of 4.2%.

It seems this issue is going a bit too far, I understand what you mentioned and actually I feel the injustice of the government's repression of the people, but any national government exists support/opposition issues. And the boycott of China, I think will belong to the opposing factions who do not like China is expansion and development, but cannot deny the impact on the economy in general.

I don't hate them and don't want to boycott them, even though I live quite close to this country and have also spent time living like a native in China, I simply cannot please them all crowd. In recent years, I have seen quite a lot of conflicts with China, but as a strategy, the country I live in also has a policy of economic linkage with China as well as being quite open with them.

Looking at the Arab issue, I do not understand exactly whether it is all of it or just some groups of people protesting and directing information, as I have expressed the existence of both support/opposition.

Share with us, learn learn from you

I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in the potential crypto market and help me learn many new things. Since learning about Bitcoin, that journey has really helped me learn more skills at work and also knowledge about society. I remember the time when I was skeptical about Bitcoin as a scam, but after sitting down to research, I realized that I had completely misunderstood it. The process of accumulating knowledge and the lessons of success/failure in investing has brought me a comfortable life, and that gratitude really cannot be expressed in ordinary words. Indeed, I highly encourage people who are looking for job opportunities to try learning about crypto as it will bring a very different perspective to how things work in life.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TON of Telegram is about to cross USDT10 billion marketcap on: March 02, 2024, 06:31:44 PM
TON coin of Telegram is about to cross USDT10 billion marketcap. When do you think it's gonna hit USDT20 billion marketcap?

$ 20B marketcap, It's completely feasible, I think in the project space like TON is not very active, they had a long time to develop and I remember in the past they used to return $1B to the original investors. Indeed, their potential is very strong, the fact that a platform like Tele is increasingly inclined to crypto activities shows that their interest in this field is very great.

I have speculation that they will definitely enter the top 10 in the future, there is much to be said for their strength as the ecosystem has not really attracted attention yet and will be a good speculative playground for whales. Furthermore, if we compare the capitalization of a few projects in the previous bull cycle, $20B is really easily pushed.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing at gambling on: March 02, 2024, 06:20:08 PM
When everything's going well, it's cool. But sometimes (often?) money problems lead to divorce. Suppose your spouse/husband gambles a lot, his or her loss/profit ratio is acceptable (so it's fine), but then one day he or she has bet it all and lost it all. You've got nothing left (and no savings either). What's your reaction? Has this ever happened to you?

Self imposing negative circumstances into my thinking in life Smiley , I will admit my fault even though I was not the one who directly lost that money, but indirectly I was not able to prevent it measuring action of the mate. But if there is a conflict between husband and wife through this form, you should sit down and look back to see if the relationship really has enough cohesion, the decision to get married is easy, and the story of easy divorce is not the type that I want to choose. Anyway, try to find a way to fill the gap, if your love is big enough to accept all the wrong behavior from the other is the answer I think of.

So in your opinion if you get to have money you will be stuck in a limitless greed where material things color your reputation?
How much money will cause this to happen?
I don't know in what country you live but where I am if you have no money you end up sleeping on streets.

"Knowledge, skills , application, creativity..." - is the answer I am looking for but what exactly worked for you?
I wasn't fishing for a purely theortical nor philosophical answer but something that worked for whoever wanted to answer.

The first thing is that you are really stubborn or don't want to be open in your thinking to receive all the truths of life, and you are also the type of person that I encounter a lot in life who avoids the truth and is confused by things but consider it a life goal.

Having money and being stuck Smiley , please understand more about being immersed in it if you really haven't satisfied your life needs then that's your problem. No matter where you live, the things around you correspond to your perception, like if you live in a steppe area, valuable assets can be a horse, in a place where life is luxurious like Dubai, cars and yachts give you a feeling of happiness, but you haven't actually touched them and thought they were great.

Life balance factor, don't talk about being satisfied when you have $1 million, so first have it first, don't think too much and continue to feel it later. The truth is that if you have gone through those things, you will understand what I share.

Don't worry about who I am or what my life is like, just feel the things I share. I can tell you that I was once a beggar, a thief, a homeless person, an excellent student, an excellent employee, a business manager, a millionaire before the age of 30,... any? I also have quite a few university degrees and have stopped using them for the job I aim for, the truth is that after many things I know about life, it is quite simple from material things to fame, and the last thing that I feel the only meaning is realizing balance in life.

And lastly, I just think you should continue to experience life now, and go back and look at the things I have shared with you. The way you're navigating the language to me actually feels quite simple and light, everything you're trying to pin down is what's best for me, but I won't tell you, that it all matters in the same and there is no best there.  And continuing on to the last point, I'm not talking about theortical nor philosophical and you've labeled it yourself. Anyway, I hope your journey goes smoothly, no need for criticism to justify what happened, everything here is enough Smiley

427  Economy / Economics / Re: Some people acts stranded and in need of the ways for breakthrough but not ready on: March 02, 2024, 01:23:27 PM
Yep, I have some sympathy for the OP. No matter where we are, we can see the current economic situation and want to help those around us. But it is completely understandable that you are cautious and do not disclose your source of income.

I have never actively shared about money making opportunities, but if anyone talks and finds a new direction for their life, I am really open and want to understand their situation. Don't rush to give them financial investment opportunities, instead take advantage of the time to exploit jobs that can bring income, MMO is an easy choice. Learning about investing and only talking about money is a dangerous trap. The most basic thing is that without knowledge, we cannot do anything. I often describe "driving, you can't just sit in a car without understanding anything about it, accidents will definitely happen."
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are selling now, what are you keeping for later and which are you selling on: March 02, 2024, 01:12:45 PM
There are many conversations that I jumped into this morning, and i see a lot of people talking about the price increment in cryptocurrency generally. Bitcoin's upward price movement had also affected altcoins to follow suit. However, i created this topic because i know there are lots of investors here i want to know if you are investing in altcoins. Which of the altcoins can you sell now to take advantage of those sweet gains, and which of them are you leaving for better future profits? I had the belief that there are altcoins that have so much potential, and selling them off now won't do any better since they deserve to be held for a long time, just like bitcoin.

IMO, everything is just at the beginning of the bullish cycle, I'm still trying to accumulate more for the portfolio and rebuild my market access strategy. Each of us's investments will be different, so don't worry too much about other people's profits/losses. Some people like short-term activities and they can act on that choice, and so do those who do it. In the long term, they will also have their own strategies.

Although with altcoins I have also made a bit of profit, and I also have thoughts about an upcoming correction in the market and the emergence of good buying opportunities, but everything is speculation and one should be ready for any scenario.

Every indications points that we're entering a very profitable bull season, so far you're holding a reputable crypto, now is not a time to even contemplate selling, you should just continue accumulating and hurdling till we see a new ATH in Bitcoin. Except if an investor is holding a project for short term or if he's not confident that Bitcoin will impact it to be more profitable in bull run, then he can sale and hopefully enjoy whatever he can get now. I think that it'll be premature to sale any top altcoin that you're hodling, because massive ROI awaits those who can wait.

Adding the issue that I think about taking profit, do not be too certain about what the target price will reach when you have it in mind and the other person just wants to take profit to satisfy satisfaction. It's like a $1000 investor can't understand the feelings of people who spend $100m in this field.

As long as you feel everything is happy, don't talk about future regrets, be realistic in the present that the position has changed positively and the term "keeping profits" is really difficult for many people. have no experience with it.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Planet to be enlisted on binance on: March 02, 2024, 01:06:48 PM
This project with celebrities behind as Lionel Messi and some more celebrities would be enlisted on Binance soon.
Excellent fundamental project with real value.

New account, with first post. I understand your purpose here, you want attention but are receiving a lot of criticism.

To be honest with you, people are aware enough of what it is, and even if a lot of people speak in favor of it, it doesn't mean much to me. It's like many people say "that horse is very good, instead of buying a car to ride, buy that horse"  Smiley and in this project too, I know about it but I'm sure it's a fact that I encourage my friends stay away from it to not waste time and money, why? It's all the opposite of what you're thinking about the project.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it time now to use Premium VPN when playing in the casino? on: March 02, 2024, 12:56:48 PM
(...)So I’m thinking if using premium VPN with dedicated IP should become a standard now to avoid this kind of multiple account incident? What do you think? Currently I’m using Cyberghost Premium VPN after reading this cases since I have friends too that using same casino since I refer them to play on it.

It seems a bit complicated, but in general services do not encourage individuals to use multiple accounts on the device. And the way you mentioned is also a solution for better use, but I know that as long as the account/device is fine, you can freely use it without any trouble (not for those who use multiple accounts > 5 accounts)

I can completely confidently use 4 accounts on different devices and connect to the same network. Using VPN is probably for really professional people with large numbers like 100, 1000, ... and it is also possible that they do not want to make their identity public and hide it through VPN, but in cases where they do not want to reveal information, they will often apply other, more professional methods.

431  Other / Off-topic / Re: The effects of feminism on marriages in today’s world. on: March 02, 2024, 12:40:19 PM
It’s actually seen that the world has really changed. It’s no more just a world of men!!.(just like the saying what a man can do, a woman can do better). Bringing it to our today world of marriage women are now seen to be the front liners of marriage. Women now feel there is no need for a man to head them, they feel because they are big business entrepreneurs, who can get themselves anything without the help of a man.this idea is what is behind a feminist mind. She becomes so self independent that most of her decisions are taken on are personal perspectives of that thing.this behavior has really brought about a lot wrong effects on their marriages. Am not saying am against feminism, but am only saying that being a feminist, you should understand the place of a man in marriage, rather than over reacting on things that just a sincere apology can just solve.

What planet are you living on?

Equality exists and it is something we should support, do you have mothers and grandmothers? Please understand them, and don't use social prejudices from some parts to judge everyone, I really respect that any man/woman/LGBT can take control of their lives. But the previous restriction from a life perspective only causes inhibition and conflict in the community, so as long as they have acceptable behavior and do not harm anyone, why feel afraid for them? Women need to receive more encouragement and respect from everyone. I always feel happy for them when they can be stronger in life, especially as society develops more and more, don't bring gender into it as a way to judge anyone.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your strategy to win in this bull run? on: March 02, 2024, 11:39:56 AM
For me it simplifies a lot Smiley
- Target BTC $150000
- Target ETH $12000

Investment capital for
- BTC: 60%
- ETH: 20%
- Other

And of course these things are feasible for me, but may be a dream for others, please understand that our investment strategies are not the same. And even if it doesn't go according to plan on the timeline, that will still be the target that I will take profit.

My strategy for the bull run is similar to yours, my focus is from the top and most reputable, then down the hierarchy chain, this is because despite the hypes and potentials of making profits on the short term in most altcoins, I like to minimize my risks and stick to the  trusted coins in this bull season.

My arrangement is
Bitcoin: %80
Ethereum: 20
These are the two main focus for me in the bull run, Bitcoin investment in this bull run is a guarantee to give you over %100 returns on your investment, assuming you start hodling from today. Ethereum, is second to Bitcoin, and I'm putting my money in it, because I'm positive that it'll experience massive pump too in this bull season.

Yep, that is a strategy that you and I probably understand that in terms of profit it will not be equal to other options but perhaps the main factor why we choose it is to accept the risk and balance use it to make decisions.

I am not trying to advise financial investment, because in reality, market awareness, financial capacity, strategy,... have a major influence on the goals we aim for. So as long as we feel okay, let's act confidently, because I understand that absolute perfection is very difficult.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: March 02, 2024, 11:35:06 AM
The memecoin wave is starting to come back again. Looking at the last few days, I can only laugh because they continue. Don't want to make fun of them completely, because the comedic nature that appears in this trend gives it a vibrant atmosphere.
But let's be honest it comes with big risks and not everyone benefits, usually I look at memecoins as ponzi schemes where they don't have much applicability, but enjoy. It's an exciting time right now because it's boring anyway and people are moving on to other things, the FOMO is really getting stronger.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why inflated countries should adopt Bitcoin to help boost their economy. on: March 02, 2024, 11:27:33 AM
Yep, I agree that Bitcoin is a unique cryptocurrency with many characteristics that can benefit a country's economy, especially amid inflation. We all understand Bitcoin has enormous potential to change the global financial system and become the future of money. But to achieve this, there needs to be cooperation from countries and organizations in regulating and managing Bitcoin effectively.

I always share with people that bitcoin is still very new, because my journey in the space realized that only a small number of people had any real attachment to it and most just came for a drive and left when they get good/bad results. So it is advisable to research Bitcoin and take advantage of the many opportunities, as well as minimize the risks that they coexist with.
435  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you get rich? [outside of crypto] on: March 02, 2024, 11:19:51 AM
Knowledge, skills, application, creativity... answer for you.

Reposition yourself to see how your abilities in life reflect the things you want in life. I have a different opinion on "rich" than the OP, it's simply the life balance I have, like I don't want to be complicated with shiny jewelry because I feel like having/not having them is okay enhance selfworth.

In the past, I also really believed that in life you must have a lot of money to be happy. I also went through periods of luxury and failure in life. In the end, "rich" money is just a choice to select.

What gave the impression that I want shiny crap to enhance my selfworth?
For me rich means to have your time divorced from your income so that you can truly enjoy life: no financial stress (no living paycheck to paycheck), afford to have many kids, spent time with your friends and family.

So you need to satisfy your material needs first, and then you will also realize that material things color your reputation, but then you will also be stuck in it because of limitless greed that has no end. . The answer is how much money is enough? How famous is it?

Everyone's life goals follow the same pattern, it's just that the way they do it seems to always be to seek satisfaction. To simplify the problem, if you want a lot of money to spend on all your personal goals, you need to create it and the simplest way is through work, and as I said before you need "Knowledge, skills , application, creativity..." completed.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 02, 2024, 11:13:07 AM
(...)So the question now is: What could really put a gambler in such a situation, addiction, or greediness?

They are influenced by gambling and lose their sanity in making decisions. Loss of control is always a big reason for making wrong decisions. Or to understand it another way, when gamblers begin their mind is filled with the feeling of winning but in reality they fail.

I have also experienced these things, but understand that when I run out of money, I stop playing. If I always won at gambling, I would become the richest person in the universe. IMO, gambling to find fun is similar to listening to music, painting,... so I don't want to make things difficult for myself. It's still the old problem of only spending when you are ready to accept all situations and are aware of the responsibilities of all actions.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who was Satoshi Nakamoto? on: March 01, 2024, 10:24:33 PM
This is always an issue that receives a lot of our attention, and it will be more exciting when the market is showing signs of positive activity, curiosity and suspicion about Satoshi Nakamoto keep recurring.
I had my share of opinions and didn't really want to commit myself to detective work  Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Even if someone comes out now and claims to have complete proof of Satoshi, the crowd will not believe that it is really the person we expect. Sometimes it really feels like life is clouded by doubts, find for the truth and doubting the truth. Smiley

438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you in your holdings? on: March 01, 2024, 10:15:36 PM
(...)I'd like to know your own situation too. For both short and long terms, how confident are you in the cryptos you hold right now?

The evaluation seems to lack convincing, because it should be understood that each person has financial ability, market awareness, and approach strategy. So your 6/10 could be 10/10 with someone, or just -10/10 Smiley

But also very open about the portfolio I'm building, mainly bitcoin and ethereum, the rest is for some altcoins that I have more faith in. But also expressed that I will also use some defi tools to optimize my investment as well as find some outside profits, because of the bullish cycle, I am very willing to pay defi fees.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5G positive effects on Bitcoin on: March 01, 2024, 10:06:12 PM
(1, 2, 3)

It seems OP is misunderstanding the operating principles of bitcoin and 5G. Other members have fully pointed out your mistakes for you, but still want to return to the title and talk about the indirect influence from technological development.

The stronger the technological development, the more we benefit from the use of tools, in another aspect of economic development and technological development (the relationship exists). But in my understanding, it is the growth in the scale of user usage when exposed to information, has financial capacity,... like an invisible link that we benefit from the general development in society. But that's clearly not the way the OP is labeling network technology with bitcoin.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Excessive Bitcoin fees on: March 01, 2024, 09:56:37 PM
What will happen when only large institutions can afford to use Bitcoin's blockchain, due to rising fees? Won't this centralize the network if most can only trade bitcoin on centralized exchanges?

If you don't accept that, the solution for you is to use CEX, don't be too demanding that this market serves the best for you. I understand the feeling that we all want favorable things, but we should understand that it is like a road that has been built if you don't walk on it then let someone else go, the competition in the space is quite different. And also the fact that it's just like a fighting game of gambling, if you don't get money from someone else, you lose money.

Should centralization/decentralization go hand in hand or only one pole exists and problems arise, if one hypothesizes a world where excessive decentralization leads to loss of control, the emergence of of centralization as the solution that bitcoin exists in this world context.
