441  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Dark Side of the Art Industry Foretell NFTs Future on: October 17, 2021, 11:11:49 PM
IMO NFT is way worse than art market, because art actually can have a legitimate value and it's always an item that you actually own, but with NFT you only own a digital token and someone said it represents something, but in most cases there's actually no way to enforce your ownership. Like how Dorsey sold the first tweet as NFT - where's guarantee that he will not delete or edit it? Without government's legal recognition of NFT they are nothing more than pinky promises.

A coin has two sides, so let me flip it to the other side.
You said NFTs are worst. I'm not a fan of NFT industry, but let me tell you some facts about NFTs:

NFTs are digital artwork and yes, it's true that there is no guarantee about anything here, but there are mints which are evidence that you are the owner.

NFTs have various use cases, one of which is gaming and it has added a lot of value to this industry because players wanted to earn while playing games and this gave them an opportunity.

NFTs made enough money to a set of poor and middle class people and has the ability to grow more.

NFTs have given freedom to gamers to choose whether they want to play with them, upgrade them, stake them or sell them.

Does the modern art industry provide these features? Like Op determined, it is only for the riches and they are using that industry to make huge profits which are out of poor and middle class' reach. These rich guys have not yet looked into NFT markets, else you may also see them manipulating this market for their own monetary benefits.

443  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: October 17, 2021, 10:42:10 PM
Let's be honest here; of course they don't care as majority of them are shitposters and they are aware that they wouldn't be able to join any other signature campaign that pays in BTC.
That makes sense (although I haven't looked at who's in the Bitvest campaign), and I was kind of wondering why members would continue to wear Bitvest's signature after so many weeks of nonpayment.  That seems ludicrous in my opinion; I would jump ship as soon as I realized that delays had become the norm.

<<>>

The campaign had been here for years I guess, so it's not a big deal for the users to remain as participants for a few more weeks without any payments. Lightlord gained enough trust so to let participants continue their work blindly without thinking about their payments, but like Loyce described, no participant would leave for a week or two non-payments because the manager (Hhampuz before, now Cryptopreneurbrainboss) and the company (Lightlord) both are trustworthy due to consistent payments for years to their participants and there was no 'PAUSE' or 'ENDED' added to the campaign for which participants would panic and stop advertising it, so they continued.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: October 17, 2021, 10:22:53 PM

As part of gambling i have won lotteries but i am yet to win anything meaningful to call it a lottery. I have won some rolling challenges because in the sites i am rolling they give out lottery but then there are counts for the amount of money waged and in that aspect i have won some but you cannot call the lottery as i am yet to win a legit lottery in that aspect. I have seen some huge wins but yet to see someone claiming to win the lottery in my experience in cryptocurrency gambling sites.

So you will not call it a lottery when a player wins BTC0.1 and even more by having just 153 tickets through his wagering? It happens each week at freebitcoin. At pancakeswap, I have seen that the number of players is less due to Pancakeswap asking for a lottery purchase. I consider you as lucky because you have at least won some lotteries.

have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery?

Yes, i won a lottery from ApeSwap finance Decentralized exchange. I won 110 BANANA. When I got BANANA it was priced at $0.9 / BANANA but after a while it pumped a lot and I earned $800. It was my first time winning any lottery so I was very happy.

That is the major advantage here. When you win a lottery in crypto, you don't just win a lottery worth that value but if you hodl your winnings, you can make it large.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 17, 2021, 09:45:43 PM
NFT has good prospects in the future so I'm sure it can last at least 10 years from now, NFT is different from the momentary trend because when people are rich they will look for things they like and everything is in NFT. and it is proven that currently many NFT projects are successful.
Steam is a leading copyright management and distribution platform with a game system and the latest information they announced to their users today is a denial, even more severe, an outright ban of games related to NFT, although there are quite a few voices from many platforms expressing interest for the re-entry of NFT gaming in the near future but a giant in distribution has put such a boycott, it's also hard for other distribution bosses to create miracles, overturning this bad result. NFT's future brightest line has been blocked and it carries many meanings of the end of the NFT movement

NFTs cannot end with just one denial, people are not fools who are buying in NFTs for thousands of dollars. They know that this is the future of digital art, and there were companies which said years ago that btc is a ponzi, and now they have started accepting it as a mode of payment. Denial is not final, so stay calm and wait till NFTs start showing some real magic in the world of digital art. I have seen a small kid changing his life by selling NFTs in his vacation and made $1.6 million.

For example there is one game called Plinko (Softswiss)
You can make a autobet there and balls are falling and every ball will fall in something like less then second. Every ball is counted like one bet in the system. You can choose the bet size. You can open few tabs and set all to autobet and you can easily wager very fast. I am not sure is that actually cheating. We dont have any access to these games.  The fact that it is possible to wager very fast is also new to us. Suggestions are very welcome.

I don't understand what to suggest, but there should be something to stop the last minute guys from snatching away wins from the hands of good innocent players who do not play with such strategies. I know that such players cannot be identified easily, but if this is not cheating, can all of us do this to quickly wager big values and try to win the contest at any cost?
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play online or physical casinos on: October 17, 2021, 08:59:16 PM
Pros of playing online:
No distractions (no girls, no drinks, no drugs)
Play from the comfort of your home
A variety of games available to play including live games
Virtual games are so damn good online
Provably fair

Cons of going to physical casinos:
Possible cheating
Girls, drugs or drinks can distract you from the game
Minimum to play is more compared to online casinos
Limited games
Nothing can prove their games are honestly fair
448  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: October 17, 2021, 08:21:46 PM

We're glad you like the Live Casino games - have you tried the Featured Slots too?
No. I haven’t tried yet. Actually, I don’t play much other than the card games. Teen patti and andhar bahar is good for me although both games are kind of addictive. I have few good hands with teen patti but lost them later though  Cheesy

If I'm not wrong, Teen patti is an Indian version of 3 card poker right? I don't know about andar bahar as I never played it.
However, poker is really addictive and when it is about a tournament, I enjoy gambling my chips because I remain in control and play with diversified values. Liked the live casino here and esp. the roulette games and in flush originals, their dice.

Hello Guys.

After step by step raising the Daily and Weekly Wager competition prize pool we notice that some of the players use strategy to play allot of bets in last 60 seconds to win the wager competition. Seems like some of the games allow auto play or speed games and seems like it can happen if user does with many tabs open.

We have more then 2600 games on the site and we dont even know what kind of games enable super fast wagering options. With 10mbtc user can wager 1btc in less then 90 seconds. At first one of the player discovered this option to win wagering competition and now good few players use it.

Blackjack.fun team is not taking part of any competition.

There is not much we can do about players who play allot of games super quick in last seconds of the competition.

How can this be called a fair way of rewarding when you already know that some users are doing this to win (by clearly cheating the system), but you are not stopping them? If last minute players will take everything away from potential winners who give a big part of their time to the games, who would like to play and take part in such competitions when they know that these unethical strategies are known and supported?
450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cryptocurrency for 1 Week! on: October 17, 2021, 06:15:02 PM
Trading 1 week cannot give you a tag of a perfect trader, considering that so many 'self-proclaimed perfect traders' have also committed huge losses during years of their experience. Stop pretending like you have become perfect in this field because of you have made profits in a week, and lose the next day, then that is not perfection. It is good for you that you did good, but try to maintain it and let your profitable run sustain for long time.
451  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 account changed hands in 2017 on: October 16, 2021, 08:02:40 PM
Op, you may have forgotten this?

Please click the link to see what Royse777 did for the community (I could not find his original thread, someone please refer the link here). If he may have changed hands, he would not have such positive trust that he is holding right now. Don't forget his contribution for the community during covid-19 pandemic.

Edit: Here is the link to his original thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246208.0

If his intention was to commit any false deed (like scam), he could have done it long ago, but the account never engaged in any such controversies, so why such a thread? Without digging into his complete history, why did you open this thread? And why is this thread in meta while you are 'accusing' someone of account sales?
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unpopular Sports Leagues discussion, predictions and outcomes. on: October 16, 2021, 07:52:11 PM
I remember of Australia's Big Bash League which is not so talked about sort of, but I used to watch them and also bet on those games. My favorite was Glenn Maxwell and favorite team was Sydney Sixers. I also watched IPL and I think both games' patterns are similar - T20. One new format took place in cricket which is T10 and is going to be played soon, will need to collect more details on it. And there was one beach cricket I watched, but never saw anyone talking about the same here.

Struggles tailor real men (and women), people who get everything easily never succeed in their lives because they are used to live that way as they have everything, so they don't understand the need of their future and enjoy their present while personalities such as Victor have the hunger to succeed, to get ahead under any circumstances and bang it, because of the struggle they see either during their childhood or when they are going through their teenage life.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: October 16, 2021, 07:13:59 PM
I tried to buy some lotteries at pancakeswap and it was not limited to one but many, still my bad luck that I never got a single win out of them. I even tried freebitcoin's lottery by investing BTC0.002 (200k lotteries + few more for my wagering and free rolls) a few weeks ago but that too did not bring me anything. I have understood that it depends on luck as lotteries are also gambling, but with affordable money where you can just keep your hopes high.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 16, 2021, 02:02:32 PM
If you want a project with a working product then take a look at Loot NFT and buy LTT.
. You can create content and monetize it. And it is great. Everything else is speculation.

I know about Loot NFT, but its owner played well with the buyers of MoreLoot where nobody got AGLD just because Loot NFT owners were not interested to let it be shared and the number grown. Don't you think it was unfair to them? NFTs are just a trend like Defi was, and every trend comes to an end, but the gap depends on how well that trend continues to rise.
456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Just a piece of advice needed here folks on: October 11, 2021, 11:55:46 PM
If you trade without patience and sell when you see panic in markets, you will always average out. But if you have patience and won't sell even in the worst situations because you have faith in your tokens, then you will make big gains in it. Always invest in the form of 25-25-25-25, never put 100% of your decided portfolio in a coin immediately because you'll be stuck later. You must buy it in parts and take advantage of dips and see the outcome later.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China Ban on Bitcoin have any negative effect on Bitcoin in future? on: October 11, 2021, 11:40:22 PM
China had been trying very hard to shake off the markets since they had the power, but now institutions have taken over and they will prove that China's ban cannot affect btc the way it did before when China announced the same thing one by one with a gap of some years. They want to manipulate the markets which is not possible for them now.

I think in some history they can affect the price because the level of users is the largest in the world. But I think that in the future if brands have released and banned all crypto activities they will have no power. Maybe in the next few years there will be a new country direction, which is able to be like China in making decisions in countries that affect crypto. It's only a matter of time, maybe China will be left behind when it comes to crypto issues if they are still in their current position.

USA is trying hard to capture what China has given away out of their hands. Let's see where this technological war will end now as I see this to be the 3rd World war, but without the use of weapons. A technological war where countries will try to get a big piece of the small 21 million btc cake, out of which some part has already been cut and either eaten up (mined) or thrown away (been in addresses from years and not moved a single satoshi).
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 11, 2021, 11:33:54 PM
NFTs' success lies in its usage. The more people use it for different purposes such as gaming, sharing collectibles in the form of audio, pictures, etc., staking, farming, and more, the more adoption NFTs will have ahead. Games have boosted the demand for NFTs and every day, I am watching a new P2E project coming up where lies the success of NFTs.
459  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 11, 2021, 11:21:06 PM
Crypto is still at a very early stage, because it is still very new to people who know nothing about it and are being scammed easily by masterminds. First, they need to be taught about what it is, how is it used, how is it exchanged, how to keep it secure, how to maintain security through privacy key, etc.

There are many online educators available and even offline through various courses in schools and universities, but people are not getting the right direction to move towards. Before you expect crypto to replace fiat, why not educate yourself and others about it? It will polish your knowledge while sharing it with others.
460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome to Uptoberfest on: October 11, 2021, 10:56:22 PM
I missed the $41k opportunity as I had $42k as psychological support in my mind and it broke down, so didn't buy later and waited but stopped checking markets. Later I saw that it reached $43800 and thought of opening a leveraged position of BTC/USDT pair between 10 to 20x, but I got a call and went afk. Then I forgot, and till I would have done anything later, btc broke $48k and I was in biased mood, so didn't open it again. And now I'm in regrets. But I hope I will get another opportunity again.
