441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non DeFi projects starts going DeFi on: August 16, 2020, 08:07:05 PM
Seriously most projects team are funny and fraudulent as well, once they see a trend that is booming they will look for a way to change their features towards it, follow up the hype, make their own money and neglect the project also. In a simple truth, any project doing this is dead on arrival, although they might succeed but the hype won't be for long hence those who will be caught in the net of hype will be much. Every project is unique in their own way, hence let it remain that way, anyone changing to Defi is just after investors funds.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best performing "old" coins on the market? on: August 16, 2020, 07:58:00 PM
Talking about old coins I would limit my focus on those that has been around for a long time and have also proved their worth as well through the introduction of good uses cases, working products and services. To cut the whole story short, Bitcoin is always my first, others worth looking into are Ethereum, Litecoin, XLM, ADA, Monero, Dash and BNB.  Although there are others but these ones always caught my attention.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality Projects Revival on: August 16, 2020, 07:51:02 PM
You know there are upcoming projects right and with Defi around now, it is making other types of projects to have bad times booming. Now with this in play, no one will be willing or even ready to look towards a project that was once abandoned by the team. Yes the bear market did a lot of things to the market and yet there were many projects which survived hence there is no amount of reason that this type of projects team ( those that abandoned their project) will give that will make people invest in it again when knowing their past experiences. Instead of trying to revive an abandoned project it is better going for a fresh one.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can enjoy crypto currency on: August 16, 2020, 07:44:40 PM
I do not agree with most things being said. To enjoy crypto trading you first and foremost need good trading experience because without it, mistakes will abound which of course will lead to more losses. Also, to enjoy crypto trading, one needs not huge funds but the amount he can afford knowing fully well that there are risks, hence with that in mind he will be guided appropriately on the amount of funds to use and be at peace during trading.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust Wallet Token discussion. on: August 16, 2020, 07:40:26 PM
Although it is not official but I will still believe the team are leveraging that opportunity as well, because no one will see such hype about their token and kept mute. Also, this goes a long way in showing how good trust wallet platform is and with even more developments the wallet will continue remaining one of the best, if not actually the best. No one can really predict the future price of the coin but so far, it has been good.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ask about DeFi this year on: August 14, 2020, 11:21:20 PM
Hello everyone I am new here, and I want to start investing, lately the DeFi Project is good this year, there are many ubiquitous DeFi projects, both on Twitter and on the Telegram channel, Am I investing in every DeFi Project that can make a profit? Huh
another one is DeFi becoming a promising business in the future? Cheesy

You should be careful of Defi hype because most projects will soon showcase their true nature which is lack of use case and this will be done after the hype has come down. However, it doesn't dispute the fact there are good Defi projects but scammers likes it when there is too much hype as they can easily bring in theirs and people won't pay much attention because they have channelled their attention on hype rather than use case. So in essence, study the Defi project you want to invest in and make sure that behind the hype there is actually a use case , a good idea and/or working products.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEfi Hype Trends! This is not something you expect, go before you get stuck FOMO on: August 14, 2020, 11:14:39 PM
I've seen a lot of old projects that changed the concept to Defi. To me this isn't great because obviously they are using the hype just to revive their project.
someone is crazy about Hype Defi! It's a red light for you, be careful before you cry get caught up in this FOMO.

Yes it is a big red flag for a project to change their concept to Defi just to follow up with the hype which of course is not to revive their project but for the team to make money. That means that, investors should be careful of old projects chasing after Defi hype in addition to most new Defi projects coming up nowadays. Furthermore, although people will ignore because they are after profits but it is still good to point out the truth, let everyone make their own choices.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about XRP now? on: August 14, 2020, 11:09:33 PM
Although XRP price isn't going bigger like other major coins but at least at the moment the price is showing signs of growth. Although I do not hold the coin as well but I can say being positive is good about the coin because the team have a way doing things which is about their partnership, and partnerships is one good factor that contributes to token growth; I think this is actually one of the reason XRP is still better than some coins.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: sBTC - The future of DeFi. on: August 12, 2020, 09:35:54 PM
Soft Bitcoin (sBTC) is the name of the project but yet using Ethereum blockchain, not only that but also seen as the future of the Defi projects. Seriously, investors need to be careful of most projects nowadays especially with the hype being caused by Defi projects; it's too much such that new projects are coming out with one attributes or the other which will tag them as Defi hence giving them the opportunity to leverage the hype and make money.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment advice needed from experts on: August 12, 2020, 09:16:42 PM
You followed the hype it caused I guess, that's by the way. You invested 3000$ and it turns to 400$ I think the time you would have sold has passed now it's time for you to hold. Like you said, the team are active that means they will likely bring a huge development that will turn things around. Also, depending on how active they are, you might not fully recover everything but will get a good chunk out, so that is, hold do not sell.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 09, 2020, 11:23:17 PM
I believe the proof is clear enough for everyone to understand, before bringing about the idea of building a project, the team is assumed to have carried out an in-depth research about everything and anticipated costs now if there is a change in plan, they work around it and find a solution. So now, if a project gets abandoned for whatever reason which is not justifiable then know the project is scam. Thus, many of the projects which stopped halfway are all scams and that's one of the reason investing and/or holding new altcoins seems to be very risky.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Staking Is The Next Step In Crypto on: August 09, 2020, 11:15:54 PM
You are right, many projects now supports it because the team have realised it helps as well. However, although staking is good but yet there is need to be careful with the type of projects we participate in their staking programs, some projects can still use it as a means to exit scam. That is, a project can bring about an attractive staking systems to attract users while having another opinion altogether. The reason for my contrary thought is that, scam projects keep coming up while looking for different tactics to achieve their aim.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: August 09, 2020, 11:04:15 PM
I won't bother visiting the link but will give you my own opinion, the 5 best and top coins to have in our portfolio is Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance coin, ADA and Tezos. If you look at the market you will realise that many major coins have been moving up for days now while many new projects aren't, so it shows that investing in a coin with good use case is very important, and this is the case of these Major coins.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 08, 2020, 11:41:57 PM
AS for many days, the crypto market is now in good conduction as compare from the last three to four months. But now a new thing in coming to altcoin, that the prices of all altcoins are fluctuating very badly and not able to stable in a single position for at least an hour. So, what should we do in this dramatic conduction of altcoin?

No one can do anything about it, because it is one of the things found within the crypto space, just like the crypto space is unpredictable as a result of its volatile nature and nothing anyone can do about it, in the same way, market fluctuations will continue going on and nothing anyone can do about it; somehow it is good for traders. However, many people might still believe we are in altcoins season but I still have my doubts ( I may be wrong though).
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: August 08, 2020, 11:34:10 PM
I don't think they can come back to the game again as it were before because IEO is now leading and there have never been signs of it slowing down, let alone for ICO. IEO has really proved that ICO has many downsides which ends up only benefiting the team. On a more serious note, why thinking of ICO when before investing in a project, as an investor you can either decide to do so or not when looking at the exchange the IEO will take place on; yes because exchange plays a vital role in the growth of any project and IEO gives investors the power to make choices based on that.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia’s Biggest Bank Considers Launching Its Own Stablecoin on: August 07, 2020, 10:29:12 PM
I think one will be right for saying that this year is filled with many positive news which in each case displays and opens up the potential of crypto while also correcting different mindsets about crypto in addition to attracting more users. Also, as a bank I am not surprised they are creating a stable coin but for the fact they are taking such step towards creating a Crypto is a proof that no organisation or platform is willing to lag behind and lose their users, thus reason even PayPal is working towards adopting crypto as well.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best place to find new low cap projects? on: August 07, 2020, 10:16:28 PM
A perfect look at the market shows it is not all about low cap projects but all about potential and use case. Many coins are growing well while some are going down irrespective of the market cap, thus confirming my earlier statement. A good example is Ethereum and BNB, their growth within the past weeks is really encouraging, and these two coins are trustworthy whose team keeps trying their best to improve as seen in the forthcoming Ethereum blockchain 2.0. Also, various improvements and so on has been done on BNB platform as well..
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if you want to invest in crypto... on: August 07, 2020, 10:05:35 PM
That is true, it is very important to prove that the team are legit and not fake probably stealing people's identity from LinkedIn to commit fraud, therefore studying adequately about the team is the first step towards investing in the crypto world as it says a lot about the entire project. In the same way, another point I would like to add is the exchange the project is listed on, that is, listing on bad exchange shows the team do not care much about their project, and therefore do not care if it dumps or not.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: August 06, 2020, 11:48:23 PM
Fake projects are just too much and when taking a glance on CMC, one will see a lot of them, dead and forgotten. Nevertheless, although in most cases it might be hard identifying fake projects but one of the ways is when the team lies about certain information about them, and this could be when they steal other experts profiles on LinkedIn and so on. Another way is, when they have no workable use case, abandoned social media channels and listing on bad exchanges.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Calls On Hackers to Attack Ethereum 2.0 in Exchange for Bug Bounty on: August 06, 2020, 11:38:17 PM
Battle testing the new Ethereum 2.0, that is really nice as it shows the team want everything to be perfect. They are just taking their time to ensure there are no unnecessary bugs and loopholes which can be leveraged on to hack the blockchain later on, so I see this as a very good move. Furthermore, this shows that even though there is unforseen delays, although no one want such, but it would be for the best, as it is better taking time to bring about a reliable upgrade free from bugs.
