461  Economy / Services / Re: [available] Free Website Designing Service For Campaign Managers on: February 22, 2024, 04:43:35 PM
There's 4-5 CM's so if there's interest l'll get samples prepared or design something to CM request. Wordpress isn't suitable for CM bio there's lighter options to cover pages of info & promos. It shouldn't be longer than 10-15 hours work to finish.

Isn't WP an easier management solution for non-technical people?
For example, managers must know the code if they want to do an update later. And their portfolio changes from time to time, it is necessary to add new projects they are working on and so on...

I've said reasons in OP why I'm offering CM's my free service if ppl think it's a strategy to get accepted I don't mind they're free.

I just told you what your offer looks like. You have offered a free service to those who make perhaps the most money from this forum. I don't think some of them don't have their website because $50 or $100 is too expensive for an HTML landing page.

I don't want to make discussion for web dev services I'm offering [available] Web Development & Technical Services because I'll use it like ads page.

It seems that you didn't understand this very well either, this is still a forum, not classifieds.
But it's your business, your thing.
462  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A possible problem with one reputable mixer service on: February 22, 2024, 02:37:03 PM
Why does this user immediately go and pay 10.6 ETH to the forum after he lost his coins in the mixer?

Not immediately, but after other users expressed doubts about the accuracy of his claims. I guess he just wanted to prove that they had a large number of cryptocurrencies. It certainly helped draw attention to himself and his "case".

Am I missing something here?

Nobody in their right mind would through even more money down the drain after they lose a significant sum, except I guess fools who are the type that fall for scammers, but it's already been established that a fool and his money are easily parted, and that is not what's happening here.

Here is something that was recognized as illogical in his scam accusation:

This is part of a chat he had with Unijoin support, where he declares that he is not looking for a return of 15+ Bitcoins.
Quote
You, 3 days ago
No. Always had the correct web address. I repeat that I did not leave your web address, and there were several successful mixes before. Also, there are no infections or access to my machine, otherwise the rest of my funds would be lost. Im not asking you to return the money, but would you like to at least try to understand what happened. In fact, the user created an order on your mixer, the mixers web address was correct, not phishing, your system generated a letter of guarantee, then the money did not arrive to the user, and the user saw that the letter generated by your mixer contained a different key.

Later he gave an explanation why he said he was giving up the refund
Quote
I wrote that I did not demand a refund only after they refused to do anything. I thought it would motivate them to do something to solve the problem. Obviously this was actually a failed attempt. Also this phrase caused a wave of skepticism on the forum so I showed the seriousness of the situation by making a donation to the official forum wallet.

Previously, on two occasions, he reported different amounts for which he was scammed. Where the difference is only 5 BTC

He explained this as
Quote
I edited the mix amount because it's quite large and I think it's easy to track. It's not even 10 or 15 btc.

Now think that after all he donated 10.6 Ethereum to the forum.

Of course, it does not help that Unijoin does not have its official representative (communication goes through the manager), so we are deprived of more details from that side and answers to some other questions.
463  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [EXTENSION] bitcoindata extension for bitcointalk on: February 22, 2024, 12:58:03 PM

It works?  Cheesy

Well done bitmover.
In the next update, maybe you could add some info hints, for those users who don't know enough about what you did here. Or at least the path to the site where there are explanations.
I assume it works on all SMF versions.
464  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: February 22, 2024, 12:50:53 PM
What are your thoughts concerning the best solution for AML checking?

I am not sure what is the best way for AML checking, but we have often seen that some exchanger keeps the funds because their checker "recognized" a high-risk score and marked the coins as dirty. When it is necessary to present the method of analysis, the service refers to the preservation of privacy and the protection of "analytics tools" in terms of future prevention. It mostly ends with keeping the user's coins, without much explanation.

Protecting privacy and prevention, act here only as an excuse for confiscation of funds. Such a system can be applied to any transaction. It acts as a legitimate justification for stealing the user's funds.
465  Economy / Services / Re: [available] Free Website Designing Service For Campaign Managers on: February 22, 2024, 11:34:41 AM
It's a free service to thank campaign managers because they're working hard to help forum users.

In some of countries I've known it's a hard life so campaign pay makes a big change to their lives. If users living in places like MENA area make $200 month in bitcointalk it's easy to say some will earn more than their real jobs. More families are becoming dependent on what they're earning in bitcointalk so campaign income's become critical to them.

From the richest to poorest forum users we're earning because campaign managers make it happen. Thanks CMs we're grateful for your support.

I got the impression that you have a misunderstanding about signature campaigns. (If it's for your comfort, like a large number of forum users).
Campaign managers are only intermediaries here and that is part of their job for which they are financially rewarded. It is not about helping forum users, but part of business and promotional campaigns. Campaign owners are companies from the signature, the managers are only there to select the participants, count the posts and forward the payment.

Interestingly, you offer this free service to campaign managers, one might think that it is a strategy to make it easier for managers decision to accept you in a campaign in the future.

Don't misunderstand this, I'm neither against you nor disparaging the job of a manager, I just think you have a wrong understanding of signature campaigns.

Also, you have your own ANN where you present your services. You regularly bump it and then lock it, and that's a very bad habit. Why are you avoiding the discussion there? Isn't it better to hear the opinions of other members, after all, this is the place for discussion.
466  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: February 22, 2024, 11:03:26 AM
And it gives an extra level of power and control to a campaign manager.

Each merit source gets additional power, I guess the administrators should evaluate who will not abuse it. For example, Ratimov was not a manager, but certain manipulations with his distribution of merits were recognized. The matter is quite individual, and it can't be generalized.
One more example, LoyceV managed the campaign a long time ago, and as far as I know he is still open to such offers. Do you doubt that he would abuse his merit source status by running a campaign?

A} he or she can pick and choose anyone he wants to be in the campaign = true.
B} he or she can get rid of anyone he wants to get rid of = true.
C} he can ask the person to be sure to post in certain sections for credit = true.

D} with source merits he can boost a person to earn more = not true for icopress as I think is is not a source.

To repeat, merit source status certainly gives a certain power here on the forum. But the example of the conflict you mention is probably not the best.
If the manager himself decides who to accept in the campaign, why would he force anyone by giving him an unrealistic number of merits? He can accept them even if he earns only one merit in 120 days.

Campaign managers today generally have their hands free over management. So, for example, they can always make a custom deal with a user, regardless of their (rank) merit count. there is no need to build someone's rank, it is enough just to accept him in a higher-tier position in the campaign.

I don't think any intelligent manager would risk his reputation for merit abuse. As far as I know, most of their clients come from outside the forum and don't know much about things like merit, sources etc... Certainly, the label "abuser" reduces the chances of someone being hired.

468  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking Experienced Gambling Industry Advisors/Players for Campaigns on: February 21, 2024, 10:33:07 PM
Your offer is quite elaborate and self explanatory to begin with. I think when it comes to advertising, there are lots of reputable managers here which you can contact to assist you like; CryptopreneurBrainboss, AB de Royse777, Julerz12, Icopress, Hhampuz and lots of them too numerous to mention here. I think they could assist you in a good advertising campaign management if you don't mind contacting them for your offer.. I believe they would give you guidelines on as the are very vast in the management of casinos campaigns and lots more. You can as well reach out to efialtis as earlier advised to help you with ideas from his experience as it relates to casinos and management.

You forgot to mention yahoo62278 as a potential manager. As far as I know, he often uses casinos himself as a user and has a lot of experience in gambling and how casinos work. It can be said that he is more than competent.

@bitmover, Is there no possibility of giving us a horizontal boundary line? For example, now I see that in the last 3 days, the lowest fee was around 12 sat/vB, but I would still have to draw the lines to see if the fee touched at all or was below those 12 sat/v.
It would be more accurate than looking at the history of your FeeBuddy's posts  Smiley

471  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEX.IO does't let me to use my wallet on: February 21, 2024, 01:24:36 PM
At CEX.IO, we take compliance extremely seriously, which unfortunately slows down the verification process. On the plus side, you can rest assured that we do everything by the book. Your safety matters more to us than our profits - that’s why clients' patience is key.

This process takes more than a month, which is too much.
I am interested in what would happen if the situation were reversed and you were waiting for the user to return your funds. Would it be comforting to you that patience was key?
Would it be reasonable if you paid some compensation to the user for the entire time of keeping his money?

With due respect, (I already indicated this earlier) I often see many complaints about complications with withdrawal on your platform. At that time, you promised that you would improve it, but I see that there is nothing happened.
472  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: February 21, 2024, 10:25:56 AM
I just noticed that you have an AML analyzer service, that is a very good feature but what happens if I use your service, everything comes out clean but then I deposit money on one of your listed exchanges and then exchange stops my payment and asks for KYC documents. Btw it would be good if you offer a subscription service where I pay a monthly fee and check addresses myself instead of paying 20 cents every time.

It would be interesting to see which method is used here during the AML check.
So far, we have seen some methods, performed with the help of AI tools, which did not turn out to be the best solution for AML funds checker.

We are reaching out to seek advice and support from our valued community members. How can we effectively counter such ill-intentioned attacks and safeguard our reputation? Any insights, suggestions, or shared experiences would be immensely appreciated.

I went through this scam accusation, and I don't see that you did anything wrong. At least not for what you are accused of. Well, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I suggest that you open a new ANN thread, but this one out self-moderated to avoid its unnecessary trolling and derailing the thread.

Also from that discussion, it is obvious, fix that bug or turn off the games that are subject to it. That can't happen. Do not present licenses to the site or any information that is not correct. Situations can always happen where you will be shown as someone who is misleading users.

This sound about right? Then when he didn't get his way he just kept on pushing and pushing and pushing hoping you will give in and submit to him. He tried reporting me to the company hiring me to wear their advertisement too. He didn't get his way with me either, I just decided he is not worth my time which is what you should do as well.

His way of communicating and aggressiveness reminds me a lot of some users who were active here on the forum and quite active in accusing the casinos.
475  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A possible problem with one reputable mixer service on: February 20, 2024, 12:05:50 PM

I understand that you are curious about the Unijoin mixer service and the claim of one user who said he lost 15+ Bitcoins using it. This is a serious allegation that could damage the reputation and trust of the service, if true.

Based on the information you provided, it is hard to verify the validity of the user’s claim, as he did not provide any clear evidence or details, such as the transaction IDs, the order IDs, the screenshots, or the timestamps. He also said he did not leave the correct URL, which could mean he used a phishing site or a fake service that mimicked the Unijoin mixer.

According to the web search results from my internal tool, Unijoin is a Bitcoin mixer that uses CoinJoin technology to enhance the privacy and anonymity of its users. It also claims to have a no-logs policy and a Tor browser integration. It has some positive reviews and ratings from other users and websites.

However, it is possible that the service could have some technical issues, security breaches, or malicious actors that could compromise its functionality and reliability. It is also possible that the user who made the claim could have some ulterior motives, such as spreading false information, creating confusion, or promoting other services.

Therefore, the best way to find out the truth is to contact the Unijoin support team directly and ask them for an explanation or a resolution. You can find their contact information on their website. You can also check their official social media accounts or blog posts for any updates or announcements.

I hope this answer helps you understand the situation better.

Honestly, you sound like a bot or an AI-generated answer. You roughly just rephrased what I wrote above, so I'm not sure about the point of your answer.

Of course, somehow we got a response from Unijoin about this case:

Quote
Recently, we learned of a claim indicating that a user was defrauded by UniJoin. However, a closer look reveals that the shared letter of guarantee is missing UniJoin's public key, which is a crucial element and is accessible to the public on our platform. This indicates that no order was ever placed through UniJoin.

When presented with an incorrect letter of guarantee, there are multiple scenarios that could have occurred. It's not uncommon for us to receive requests from individuals who upload letters of guarantee without any prior deposits for an attend to receive BTC refunds. A second possible scenario is where consumers might have unintentionally accessed a phishing website and sent Bitcoin to a fraudulent website.

We find such phishing websites very frequently and are constantly working to shut each and every one of them down. Our community is also actively fighting this problem, and over the past six months, Bitcointalk users have repeatedly united their efforts to stop fraudulent activities in telegrams, websites and others (we are talking about dozens of phishing attempts). Lastly we do not exclude the possible scenario in that another company will make up these allegations in order to harm our name.

We also do not refer to our crystal clear reputation, and the fact that our platform is used by thousands of people every month, since the reputation component is not relevant to this issue. As for the technical part, It's difficult for us to carry out a comprehensive investigation in the absence of additional proof. It's important to remember, though, that the shared letter of guarantee does not contain our public key, which verifies that UniJoin was not used to process the order.

We sincerely thank you for your attention to this matter and reassure you that maintaining the integrity of our platform always remains our top priority.

476  Economy / Lending / Re: Small loan request on: February 19, 2024, 09:17:18 PM
Sir - I am not willing to wait upto pay day. I have seen so many videos. It will make me in trouble for the following reasons:

1. I am not willing to invest all my salary.
2. I will not trade if I loose this tiime.

I want to just check my performance with real fund but small. If I wait for the pay day, I may loose all my salary.  So I want to trade now. If I loose I will make my mind refresh. I will pay back 40 USDT only and stop forex trading forever. By this way I may keep myself protected from big loss.

So you want to take a risk on the forex market but with other people's money. Right?
If you already have a salary, then you can set aside a small part like $30 to test your skills live. If things go in the wrong direction, you will again have to take money from your salary to pay off the loan you want to take out.
Otherwise, there is a huge difference when you watch a video of someone doing something versus when you have to do it yourself. Of course, bad things are not shown there. And they are happening.

In addition to the fact that you will not get a loan here, gamble with your money because you will learn the best lesson when you lose your money and not someone else's.
477  Economy / Reputation / Re: [v2][Self Moderated] In Merits, Count Down To Your Next Rank... on: February 19, 2024, 09:02:14 PM
..

Just need a few more merits to reach your next rank, soon you will reach your next goal.

..
You will be a full member very soon if you only have a few more merits which membership you will step into, best wishes in advance..!!

..

Will be stepping into your next Rank very soon, I think you will be a member soon, keep going, thanks.

..

You will get full membership only if you have unnumbered merit, so you go ahead, soon you will reach your next rank.

Man, this is the most pointless spam and an obvious example of a useless post. I wonder if the campaign manager will count this post in your weekly quota.

479  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fixedfloat is scamming me for 8000+ EUR IMPORTANT PSA! on: February 19, 2024, 11:58:51 AM
Why on earth would FixedFloat need $26m in hot wallet reserves to operate~? This makes no sense from an operational or security standpoint for a swapping platform like fixedfloat.
I've asked the same question before, when exchanges got hacked. In general, you should only keep small amounts in a hot wallet. Could it be this is "small" to them, and they have much more in cold storage?

We will see in the coming days if they continue to work and do not declare bankruptcy, then they certainly have more funds in reserves and this 26 million is only a part. It's a good thing that most of the hacked coins are probably FixedFloat assets, not from their users.
480  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A possible problem with one reputable mixer service on: February 19, 2024, 11:52:02 AM
What is confusing in all of this story is the issue of donation. No one pays $30,000 to harm Unijoin's reputation usin a trolling account without details or even giving more information. It is too much, and in a better way, this story can be avoided.

It is NOT an impossible scenario. Some mixers have spent much more money on advertising, and this amount, if you put it together with marketing costs, does not sound so strange.
I would certainly like to hear an official answer from Unijoin representatives.
