461  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory Does not Launch at all!!! on: August 22, 2017, 04:45:09 PM
I don't know if you have something specific for this piece of software, or if you have an existing while it with a balance in it. I just wanted to suggest that I found that some pieces of software simply don't run on some computer systems. If it's something you're installing brand-new there are two or three other perfectly good software while it's out there you might want to try one of them. I'm not saying that we don't want to solve your problem, just that you could save yourself a lot of time and effort I just switch it to something else sometimes.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Monero/XMR] Which pool would you recommend? on: August 22, 2017, 04:18:13 PM
I've had some serious issues with Minergate in the past, but I can't say that the been around for a while if they do seem stable. I just did like him for the fact that you didn't seem to have much control at all over withdrawing your funds. They did hold on to them for long I think the withdrawals happened every other day or something probably based on the balances in there. I just prefer to have more control. But definitely check it out in your search for a pool and also for mining software.
463  Economy / Services / Re: [INVEST] I Want to invest 0.5 BTC + on: August 22, 2017, 04:02:56 PM
Obviously you don't want somebody hire a company to just match you up with somebody wants alone you want that company to provide escrow and protection for you and to make it easiest for the person to pay the loan back. But with the right website and Company backing you up then providing loans in Bitcoin could be just the investment that would give you a nice easy gradual steady return on your investment.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It cost me $2 + 12 hours to send $25 in BTC now on: August 22, 2017, 01:39:44 PM
I appreciate that you have the ability to bring up the network fees which would normally speak things up, but maybe somewhere at the process you're tweaking something that's bringing that speed back down. Other than that the fee seems about right depending on how you're doing it . There are much cheaper ways to do it but it depends on sites that you use and the services you need.
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: give me some tips about trading?? on: August 21, 2017, 05:06:54 PM
Pretty much everyone in the investment World in cryptocurrency is going to be sitting on that monitor 24 hours a day. Just like the currency markets that have nothing to do with cryptocurrency, it is a 24-hour market with no close and no open, and that means that our investment teams are sitting on those computers 24 hours a day, two 12-hour shifts, and a retiring after about 4 years.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what is conhost.exe is it spose to runing in claymore on: August 21, 2017, 04:01:21 PM
With the exception of a few pieces of code in there that might be met pretty up the batch file, you could open the command prompt on your window, and type those lines one by one followed by enter and see the results. Now, that doesn't mean one hundred percent that everything is the way it should be. A background task could be a virus.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Another wallet recovery on: August 16, 2017, 05:46:26 PM
I think what you're saying would work hard to tell exactly what your plan is. What I would do, is either on one computer or two set up two separate wallets. One be a software wallet that does not require you to download the blockchain. The other wallet is going to have to download the blockchain I don't think you're going to get around that. Once the full wallet has downloaded and in sync, did you can attempt to import the wallet.dat.
468  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining with Nicehash, is it good? on: August 16, 2017, 05:33:23 PM
What this website gives you the ability to do is to mine different coins, but they have your payout coin be the coin of your choice. In other words, you can mine whatever and get paid in Doge or whatever other coin. I do find one drawback to their website, if you mine and get a balance of a coin that is not very popular it may take a long time, like a week, to get that coin paid out to you.
469  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Simplest Bitcoin Wallet on: August 16, 2017, 05:00:36 PM
So basically what you're looking for people to do, is to allow your website to create their private and public key pair. That information could easily be stored by you, in fact depending on the use of the wallet it would almost be expected. So with pretty much no business background that the public sees, you are expecting them to trust you with access to every single wallet that your site creates?
470  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: August 16, 2017, 04:43:46 PM
For most people especially those that have never touched Bitcoin , and it's nothing more than a digital currency and a tool. 95% of the population out there either has no clue that Bitcoin exist, doesn't care, or considers it in the same realm is things like Google pay and PayPal. A lot of people come right up to the point where they're ready to get involved and it is simply too complicated for them. But it's definitely not as popular as people think.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 500,000$ to invest on: August 16, 2017, 04:26:13 PM
If you have $500,000 , then at the rate of $4,000 per Bitcoin you can buy 125 Bitcoin. In less than six months that price will very likely hit $5,000. Not taking into account fees or anything, selling those back will net you over $100,000 in profit. Even if that takes one year for the price to get that high which it will not, $100,000 profit in one year on a single investment is pretty damn successful.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we already rich, gentleman? on: August 16, 2017, 04:06:35 PM
I would necessarily like here for gentleman. Not to be mean but it's a business website and where there's business there's going to be backstabbing and dirty deals. I guess if you're comparing gentleman to Gentlemen of the past you're probably not going to find anything of that nature. But basically a gentleman was a person who went by a code of ethics and a code of conduct and if you consider the fact that those codes might have to evolve and grow over time then a gentleman today might be a quite different character than a gentleman of the past.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: August 16, 2017, 03:42:00 PM
Yes or no. What's more likely to happen if someone will hack your computer. That doesn't necessarily mean that the wallet is compromised itself simply that they picked up your addresses keys while you were copying pasting them at some point, or they leached information of a text file Where you were storing your keys. As long as you get your wallet software from a reputable source and there's only a few of them that itself is nice and secure.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market vs. Bitcoin??? on: August 15, 2017, 06:30:02 PM
You want to look at the Commodities Market not the stock market. Bitcoin is legally considered a commodity and meets those standards more directly. while there is more Capital to bitcoin most of the new alkaline shimoda pre-existing off coins don't have any Market capital and they need to come out any Market head-on as far as standards and practices. Bitcoin itself can pretty much be handled the same way just be aware that they do have a market Capital base.
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 15, 2017, 06:19:10 PM
As long as you're not losing money that you can't afford to lose don't fret too much. If you can still afford to invest then the way to go now is to get behind something you believe it. We tell this to stock Traders all the time. It is always a great foundation for Investments. Find a company, find a project, find a coin or even a development team that you feel strongly about and invest in that. Invest in ideas, invest in people.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ShapeShift vs. Evercoin on: August 15, 2017, 06:02:19 PM
This is the first time I have heard of any site other than shapeshift. I knew that there was one other side out there that did basically the same thing but their fees were so exuberant that it wasn't even worth it. And that is not the site you just mentioned. Since I've never touched evercoin, I will tell you about the few experiences I had with shapeshift, it was pretty fast for the service that it is performing gamma keep in mind that it is matching transactions for two different ends and two different block chains. Most of the time it was done in less than an hour. Most of the time it was actually done in less than 20 minutes.
477  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: need assistance with a charity. Why do so many not raise the necessary funds? on: August 15, 2017, 03:47:07 PM
First things first, people don't like to give money. However, the truth is they don't like to give money to strangers. They will give money to friends and they will give money to family. However, people will give their time to total strangers. That is why the best place for a local charity to start, is with something like a walkathon. A total stranger would give you their time, and their effort in the walkathon. The same strangers will have their family and friends pay them money and donations for the amount of distance they walked. So the actual currency is being exchanged to a family and friends and then being forwarded to you.
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategy for most profit in 10 years from now on: August 15, 2017, 03:30:10 PM
10 years is a long time for cryptocurrency. Bitcoin itself isn't even 10 years old. The history of Bitcoin shows that over a five-year period it definitely is going to rise price but to just put something in the works account on it for 10 years is a little bit over-the-top. I would say as a long-term investment to pick Bitcoin, invest in it and plan for 10 years. But definitely don't ignore it.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN affect in WWIII (WORLD WAR 3) on: August 15, 2017, 03:20:26 PM
That is a question that is utterly and completely impossible to answer. The fact is that no one can predict what World War 3 is even going to be like. It could be next year, it could be two hundred years from now. Because we don't know when it's going to happen we don't know what kind of technology is going to be used or what kind of environment is going to decide it.
480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: August 14, 2017, 05:27:02 PM
Anyone can be a millionaire at any time. Most of the people out there unwilling to do what it takes to make that happen. There are only a handful of methods to do it but most of them are pretty easy including cryptocurrency Market trading. It's not a matter of whether you can or cannot be a millionaire it's a purpose and it's a method that makes it happen and it's a question of whether you are willing to do those things.
