461  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty SpotPlus with fake testimonials? on: September 11, 2023, 01:14:07 PM
This AI trading bot madness has to stop. It's now getting too obvious and boring  Grin

The app was released on 29th May 2022, it has just slightly over 100 downloads, but one of the reviewers claims that it has more than 1 million traders. Speaking of fake reviews, check out their 31 reviews on Google play. Fake is an understatement!
It's probably a test run for something bigger, I don't know if any people do it but some young or script kiddies are probably practicing their programming skills, although given how this websites up for a long time now, I think it's more than just that although looking at it that way makes me think that it's a pathetic scammer.

Exported from Duelbits on September 11, 2023 at 10:45 AM Europe/Madrid time CEST (GMT+0200)

Why should they reward $50 if my bonuses are aligned with their rewards.
That's exactly what I mean but a screenshot of that conversation would be a big help as that's more concrete and unlike this one that you've provided, unlikely to be a fabrication I think you get me right? Regarding the question you ask, Duelbits might be the one that has to answer that.
463  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits Scam Alert: Unveiling the Illusion of "The Most Rewarding Casino" on: September 11, 2023, 06:08:17 AM
Is there a way that you can provide the conversation that Duelbits did reach out to you promising you that they're going to give you those bonuses, those are pretty important evidences to back up your claim and depending on what you've talked about in that conversation, your claim might have some merit since they really did promise you a bonus.
464  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet - deceptive marketing to banned jurisdiction and refuses to refund on: September 11, 2023, 12:09:44 AM
I meant that more along the lines of you - You were unable to stop gambling when you know you had an addiction. Roll Eyes
That's pretty neat, blaming an addict and at the same time telling them that they can stop anytime they want because someone told them that they can probably do it. Regarding the part about Cloudbet specifically targetting OP, I think that ads are mostly targeted nowadays, the websites that you visit will have some digital imprint on you and then that imprint will be passed on to the browser or search engine so it can show you ads that was related to the last thing that you've searched or visited in that browser if that browser has their ads on now on the side of the websites, it's just a matter of who has a better ad budget and SEO that the website will endorse.
465  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful!!! VITALIK BUTERIN'S ACCOUNT X WAS HACKED on: September 10, 2023, 04:48:34 AM
An unfortunate accident. Vitalik Buterin is a famous public figure in the field of cryptocurrencies.
That's why it's no surprise to me that for how long the link was open, they were able to steal 700k USD already. It just saddens me that Twitter/X as a platform is no longer a safe space because everyone's trying to scam someone there, it's not worth to sift through the muck that we call a social platform, hopefully Vitalik's image won't be damaged as much because as much as we know that it's not his fault since his account got hacked, there's definitely a goofbrain out there that got scammed that will definitely blame Vitalik.
466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 10, 2023, 01:45:48 AM
It depends and I think everyone will agree with me saying that, I believe that bots work depending on how efficient and competent the person that will program the bot will, think of scientific calculator, at the hands of a normal student, they will only be able to access functions that is easily presented on that calculator but if that calculator is on the hands of say a mathematician or an engineer, they will be able to use the most out of it because they know the ways to use it and how to navigate the other functions so it's the same thing with bots.
467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exploring Crypto Prediction Tools: Which Ones Have You Tried? on: September 09, 2023, 02:25:33 PM
The description about these tools being used for prediction should made someone be careful about using it knowing that the possibility that the prediction might be wrong and that it might cause you some losses. When I was trading and even my friends that are trading, they haven't even tried using it, most of them of are purist when it comes to trading, no prediction tools or anything like that so it's unlikely my friends and I have heard of Crydis.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Get a signal Source on Bitcoin. on: September 09, 2023, 05:44:34 AM
I think one should never take advice from other sources to make such decisions. But if you are well knowledgable and experienced about bitcoin trading then you can advise everyone better. Just like you have taken advice from all other social media, you have to be careful as they give you wrong advice. And by following wrong advice, a new trader is definitely at risk of losing his money, so don't take such wrong advice.
Not take is a big word, the right words would be to consider since that means that you're hearing what they're talking about but doesn't mean that you completely and blindly follow them. Depends on the advice though, I don't know if you've watched the movie Into the Spider-verse but there's a dialogue in that movie where the MC(Miles Morales) is asking the Other Dimension Peter Parker about how to use his powers but all he did was advice him about making sure wearing the suit and it's maintenance is convenient for him based on experience, my point here is that there are good advices out there and it's not a good thing to just don't listen to all of them even if they are pretty reasonable.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: What has really been behind china's economy on: September 08, 2023, 12:22:52 PM
~
First off, the art of understanding statistics requires an appreciation for nuances. Yes, there are certain discrepancies between how things are reported in Western and Eastern media that I have looked at.
What art? Margin of error in statistics is different from lying, margin of errors don't cause miscount in the total population of a country it's supposed to be an adjustment so it indicates that there's no absolute number. Check out this link, talks about the lies on China's statistics.
~
Let's not, however, pretend that this exclusively occurs in China. With regard to the assertion that the Internet is controlled, numerous nations employ various facets of information control. I'm not suggesting we should be cruel to them; rather, I'm just saying let's not.
I am not pretending or anything, I'm just telling the truth about what's really out there, this lines sounds too much like you bootlick too much about China, yes there are various forms of control on other parts of the world when it comes to the Internet but if you try at least once to look at the big picture, you'll see the difference in freedom that you and I have on the Internet compared to those who are in China. Here's some more links to help you understand why your claim is false at best.

How about using "bullying" to achieve your goals? To influence global brands and decisions, all nations employ both soft power and hard power. Geopolitics at its most fundamental.
I don't know about your moral standards but if your definition of achieving a goal means you try and restrict someone's freedom of speech and being an insensitive asshole like China, I don't think that many would be saying you're right.

The Chinese yuan is a concern. Is it utilized solely in China? This is incorrect. On foreign markets, the yuan has performed well. Even the IMF included it in its SDR basket. Ever ponder why?
I admit, I don't have the data for the RMB utilized only on China but you could've at least back that up with an article or something. Regarding RMB performing well, this article and this video says otherwise. Just because it's added in the SDR basket doesn't mean that it's good or performing well, China is still a big economic powerhouse so it's only natural that they're going to be eventually added on that besides the other stuff I don't know about why it's there.

Isn't this the case for many developing nations when it comes to real estate and alleged construction shortcuts?
Not a lot of countries create fake windows to disguise under construction buildings to look like they're finished so they can save face in an upcoming event.

470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: September 08, 2023, 02:43:39 AM
Only if the dollar collapses completely and they print so much of it that the current situation seems like nothing.

No, seriously.  It has to be so terrible, that the current currency value comparably to the 40's will look like a straight line in the chart.
That would mean nothing to bitcoin though as dollar is a global reserve currency which means that bitcoin will be worth nothing since it's value is pegged to dollar most of the time. The Federal Reserve printing more money isn't a problem for US at all as long as they have a dominance on the global market, they know that they can don't what they want. The likely scenario that 1 sat is equal 1 dollar would be that US acknowledges bitcoin as an equal or there's a total global adoption.
471  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 07, 2023, 03:55:36 AM
SADTember was here and my sentiment would follow that this time is best to accumulate more and dca would great and sell up later next month or after halving. and my opinion there is possibility that bitcoin price will down to 24-20K
I hope that it's going to get lower than what many bears expect the market would go down. Going down to 20k would be a different story imo, that would test the confidence of the people on the bitcoin market and I know that most people here isn't easily shaken when a drastic price drop happens but the price going 20k below is just too much, a lot will definitely panic sell and hopefully I'm just overthinking about that part because the price affects market sentiment and confidence.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: September 06, 2023, 03:21:04 PM
1. What price do you think that bitcoin will hit in the next ATH.

By 2025, I anticipate bitcoin's ATH to be between $100k and $120k.
Hopefully that really happens and not in 2025 but in the next year but hey, I welcome the timeframe before that can ever happen as a window for me to accumulate more bitcoin. I do think it's more on the 150k USD territory though if we follow the pattern where bitcoin triples in value of the previous ATH after a halving.
Quote
2. When do you plan to sell and make good profit from your bitcoin portfolio,is it next bull season or the next two bull market, because bitcoin price is always tempting during the bull run. Give me your target price that you will be happy to sell off your bitcoin.
Let's discuss.
I'll sell some of my Bitcoin assets (80%), but I'll keep the rest for the following two bull markets. Before that time, I will be implementing a DCA strategy
I'll sell all of my bitcoin at the right price because I know that it's run isn't going to last forever and it's definitely going to be a good time to splurge on the stuff that you've been wanting to buy for a long time but when that happens, I would probably go for 70% of what I sold in bitcoin would go back to it when the price goes down dramatically, the remaining 20 would be my funds for DCA and the last 10 would be when I feel like it's the ATL for bitcoin.
473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2023, 02:26:31 PM

Can they drive it down further, my paycheck is itching to be spent on bitcoins.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Is space mining creating market differences and on-earth-inflation? on: September 06, 2023, 12:59:41 PM
I believe that this space mining thing is going to be a race and the first ones will definitely make a lot of money because they will not lower the prices, the worse thing that they could do is probably increase the price since they have a monopoly on space mining unless countries are starting a space race for space mining right now then we would expect a monopoly otherwise.
Also, space mining is something very far away, neither of us is likely to see it in our life time, unfortunately.
I beg to differ with this article about OSIRIS-Rex landing a rocket on an asteroid to collect samples. If that becomes successful that means that mining is a possibility. I would agree with you that we might not see it in our lifetime but I do believe that the resources in those asteroids is lucrative enough for countries or companies to jumpstart a project to mine these asteroids because the first ones to do it will definitely monopolize it.

This YouTube video from Kurzgezagt can be a big help to further your understanding of the basics and where we are right now in space mining.

475  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 06, 2023, 08:59:26 AM
I only invest in Bitcoin when it comes to the majority of my savings.

I trust Bitcoin when it comes to investments, because it is worth the wait rather than storing it in a bank which only gives you a very small amount of profits. Investing in other things that you have mentioned is also a good thing but it may take a while before you get to know it well for you to make profits in a certain period amount of time.
Banks isn't even the helping you save, their the worst place you can put your money in because of the low interest rates and they're overtaken now at least in my country by online banking systems when it comes to interest rates. I think that everyone's the same here when it comes to preference of investment since and other investment options aren't that accessible to many people like me who don't like the hassle of signing paperworks and in the end you don't have any control of your money unlike bitcoin.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 05, 2023, 03:42:48 PM
If you have the means to buy the property and still be able to live normally without worrying about money even though you've just recently bought a property then by all means go for that route because a passive income is much better than more effort in something. That would be my choice though as I prefer not working too much for money so if there's a means for me to make money with less effort then I'm grabbing it. Just don't be a landlord that your tenants hate though.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a problem a Personal Finance? on: September 05, 2023, 01:48:35 PM
Wow, that's such a profound advice OP, I am pretty sure that even if people follow what you're professing, it's not going to make anyone successful to a certain degree. The advices are generalized and pretty shallow imo because anyone can do all that and at the same time this aren't even a part of the formula to be successful in finances except the reading books about personal finances part and even that is flimsy at best because what could've worked for that person, it might not work for you.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: What has really been behind china's economy on: September 05, 2023, 05:35:23 AM
  • Lying, there's a report already that they've lied about their statistics in their population so what's stopping them from lying about other things, they're secretive and they keep denying stuff that's already proven by multiple sources and censor their Internet, what kind of country who is honest about the stuff going on in their country have to hide that they censor their social media platforms heavily?
  • Currying favors through bullying, China uses their large population and their production capabilities to make brands submit to their ideals, no celebrity or brand can talk shit about China without ever apologizing the next day.
  • Corruption, no need to elaborate on this too much, Chinese buildings that they reported can be built in a day or weeks are held together by substandard products and expedited processes to skimp on the building funds so they can pocket more.
  • Real estate in China is a good economic booster but at the same time their demise because people are buying properties in advance even though they don't exactly have any physical houses yet to be given to those buyers.
  • Their currency yuan is exclusive iirc, meaning that it only circulates in the country and so it shows that their economy is actually growing.

These are not the facts, they're all the stuff that I've read and watched about economics throughout the years so I could be entirely wrong about all of these. I welcome any corrections Smiley.
479  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Im looking for investors for interesting project idea real estate on: September 04, 2023, 04:53:14 PM
This is probably my fifth time seeing more or less similar ideas being discussed. If you're referring to cryptocurrency-based ownership like tokens or Bitcoin-based tokens, I don't think you'll find much success seeing how most of those projects went bankrupt or ditched crypto completely.
Nope that's not what OP is talking about, it's more like the people in the forum are going to give OP the bitcoin or whatever crypto we can spare so OP can use it to buy a real estate property with the crypto that was converted into cash.
480  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coming new project the loan scheme no collateral on: September 04, 2023, 11:09:42 AM
It's still a wonder to me that people like OP are still attempting such a blatant scam, it can't be helped but I am amazed at their determination and will to do this kind of stuff over and over again (Vas' definition of insanity).

And who will issue all those no collateral credits, and how long before you go bankrupt if you just give loans left and right without any collateral?
Dude's probably the real Nigerian Prince that he can afford to lend those credits without any collateral, building a project that's built entirely in trust is such a noble cause and OP is doing a pretty good effort building one  Grin.
