461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 07, 2024, 10:25:05 PM
Yeah, I've seen those history made by the Cavs and the same goes for the Magic. Considering that the Cavs have not been in the playoffs this long with so many rosters build up that they've made, they deserve to be there.
Time flies so fast. I remember the series because me and my friends had a bet on Orlando. I was in college at that time and I have a project with my group mates where the males are just watching the NBA games while the females are the ones doing the research and everything. Cheesy

Anyways, Cavs were right taking Mitchell. First year of the contract and they were already back in the playoffs. This is the Cavs second season with Spida and here they are heading in the second round playoffs. I still think Boston is too much for them though.
We've missed Cavs seeing in the playoffs. Oops, this is for those that are quite young at heart already when James was still with them.

In a few, we're going to see their match against Celtics and let's see who's going to make their debut win together with the other match of Mavs and Thunder.

Interesting, Thunders made it but it seems that the attention of the fans aren't with them on this playoffs.

462  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring social media manager. on: May 07, 2024, 09:56:17 PM
The guy left his contact through Telegram. But did anyone that are interested messaged him and what happened?

@OP if you are still in here, try to give some response to everyone if anyone contacted you already or you filled the position or what.
Yes, I messaged him on Telegram because I'm interested and asked if he is still looking for a social media manager. But he only saw my message and didn't respond if he is still hiring, so I assume he either found or hired the person he was looking for, the 'reply guy'.
Possibly he already found one. Since he has seen your message but didn't bothered to reply.

But if he's able to get back here and already got the reply guy, he should inform everyone and close the topic.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: May 07, 2024, 09:14:56 PM
Firstly the most important factor is knowledge before thinking of earning from trading . When you try to skip the process of learning and unlearning you will keep losing more. Trading can make a rich one, poor and also poor one, poorer, but can make both very rich. The risk involved is you not knowing and understanding money management while trading is more than risk in itself. Trading becomes easy when you have an edge.
Everything as you trade will be risky, it should be you that knows how to handle your finances as you trade. Yes, it's for everyone but the poor ones will have harder time in recovery compared to the rich ones.

As they are trading with experience and money, they're able to do necessary things that they can do as much as they can.

It's true that it becomes easy when you have the edge and idea of what you do and the rich almost got everything.
464  Other / Off-topic / Re: If You Could Do It All Over Again, What Major Would You Pick? on: May 07, 2024, 11:46:31 AM
If I have that chance, I'd choose those related to money, finance, economics, accounting, etc. Those kind of courses and since I am also a bitcoin investor.

That will be easier for the others to understand what Bitcoin is if there's a guy that has background in finance. But to be honest, I don't need to be like that when I'll just mostly talk about my experience as a plain investor and not a professional guy.

I thought of that because we can't blame people for thinking about a professional is more convincing than of those that don't have. Though, I don't want it to be in that manner of convincing them to invest.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not get discouraged by the current price of Bitcoin on: May 06, 2024, 11:49:52 PM
No worries at all if you know and seen how and last year has started.

Those that are worried probably bought at the new peak which is $73k.

The best is yet to come and who will be the most patient wins.
Anyone who understands how BTC operates would see no reason to get worried or panic cause the best is yet to come. It's only those who rushed to invest into it when they got little idea that would see a reason to panic when the price of Bitcoin goes down, most of them got into the market due to wrong informations they got about the halving.

I believe the man who was complaining to his friend when the price went down would be very disappointed at himself currently if he had sold then cause few days after the price went beyond the initial price of about 57k it was when he made mention of selling his coin. Now this would teach him a lesson if he sold cause Bitcoin is currently 63k and has a potential of going higher.

For a person holding for a long term, buying at the peak of 73k shouldn't be an issue, mostly  if the person bought bulk Bitcoin then there's no reason for panic cause there's a great possibility of Bitcoin going beyond that mark.
I agree, if you understand how BTC goes on over the period of time you'd be the most chill guy and you're relaxed and don't have to worry with how the price goes in action from time to time.

As for buying lumpsum at the new ATH, they have to give themselves extra patience because many did that in 2021 and 2017 bull runs and did sold too early.

I guess for newbies, the current price will certainly be a big issue for them because if bitcoin price will consistently drop its price, that will make their investment doomed. But if they know that being patient in the market most especially in times like this will pay a lot, then they won’t be worrying too much knowing the fact that this is just part of price correction.

Those who came with knowledge and completely understand the volatility of bitcoin will just face the market calm and chill, but for those who rush to invest without studying first, clearly that will be a disadvantage for them.
It's normal for them to react like that because they have lesser experience and stay.

But we guarantee them that if they are going to worry now, they're going to end up losing their holdings and could cause them to panic sell.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 06, 2024, 11:17:06 PM
I do not think that casinos will ask kyc if there is no intervention by the government. Because they want to make business without any interruption and not to govr headache to their customers.
Correct, if they know the most easiest way to run a casino and make everyone happy, they will do it. Why they need to follow unnecessary regulations which would make them to spend more money and effort.
They're all for the customers but because of government rules and to make their business legal, they have to obey the rules that are set on them.

During the early days, most of them are unregulated and not forcing everyone to do KYC and that's why we're all like living in peace as there's no intervention of regulators.

But today is different and we have to adopt that as well.
467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do to get merit reward? on: May 06, 2024, 10:48:15 PM
Hello everyone, I have been here for a few weeks/months now but I'm yet to receive "merit" so I'm just worried, please can someone tell me what I will need to do
Wrong board, and you should start with that analyzing which is the correct board to post your thread.

Why you're worried about it? Just post your stuff, what you feel, what you like and get into the topics that you are interested. Don't force yourself to post for merits.

how long I will need to be here for before I get merit and other rewards?
Don't think about that, stay because you're here until you can and we're all waiting for Bitcoin's continuous adoption as sky is the limit of it and in short, there's no definite time until when.
468  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring social media manager. on: May 06, 2024, 10:16:48 PM
These guys come and disappear. They should leave proper contact address at least.
The guy left his contact through Telegram. But did anyone that are interested messaged him and what happened?

@OP if you are still in here, try to give some response to everyone if anyone contacted you already or you filled the position or what.
469  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin, when to buy on: May 06, 2024, 09:45:39 PM
When to buy Bitcoin is when you're financially stable
No need for you to become financially stable before you buy. As long as you're capable of buying and it's not going to affect your life economy and expenditures, you can buy when you're able.

that's exactly the preferred state to accumulate bitcoin using the best strategy ever which happens to be the DCA strategy.
I'd agree about DCA.

It's always the strategy on when and how we're going to purchase it. So, depending on your life status and as long as you're capable of doing that without having money constraints after your purchase, that's a good start.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 06, 2024, 09:01:32 PM
He deserve it.

The last time they've played against the Magic, he did everything with all his might but ain't enough. This time, he's able to push it and they're going to be against Celtics.

But who's going to be your series winner on them? I bet most are going to be with the Celtics.
The home team won every game in this series which shows you that home field advantage is a real thing. I wasn't shocked to see this series go 7, but it ends here. Boston is just too big for them. I feel like a gentleman's sweep is going to happen for the next series. Tatum and Brown are going to run all over Cleveland.
I agree.

Whoever goes to the home at the last match of the series gets the advantage and it's even more crucial this conference semi finals.

I root with what everyone thinks, the Celtics might be too much for the Cavs, not to mention the Celtics are also on a mission trying to redeem themselves not only with the Heat but the shot all the way to the finals.
Still kudos for the Cavs for winning their first series win since LeBron or their first series win since 1993 and that's without LeBron. This is already a good achievement for s team that has been struggling without that 1 player who changes everything for their franchise history.
The first LeBron left Cleveland, they were against the Orlando Magic who had prime Dwight Howard, Michael Pietrus, Rashard Lewis, & Turkoglu. These guys rain 3s against the Cavs in the entire series.  That was also the moment were the most anticipated LeBron and Kobe finals match up died.
Man, there's just too many memories from this current Cavs series win today against the Magic lol.
Yeah, I've seen those history made by the Cavs and the same goes for the Magic. Considering that the Cavs have not been in the playoffs this long with so many rosters build up that they've made, they deserve to be there.
471  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if Bitcoin was like a stable coin on: May 06, 2024, 08:34:41 PM
If the price of Bitcoin didn't appreciate in FIAT, would you still hold it and for what reason.
Yes, there were even a lot of decrease through bear markets before and I did held.

How much your portfolio would change ?
Totally a lot, and I'm happy to see the increase of it in paper overtime.

At some point in the future, the price may settle down and the gains of 10x (or any x) will only be a dream.

What will be the reason for people to join in if there are no financial gains, huge fees and some other issues that come with it ? (lack of privacy, tainted coins, etc.)
The dictation of the people about its value still remains it as a premium. And we've been there for how many times and everyone stayed.

It's not a problem about tainted coins, a bitcoin = bitcoin.

This is a hypothetical question, we assume this to be true for the discussion - we're not trying to abolish it Wink

PS. I think I have chose the wrong place for this post as this is related to Bitcoin so not "Off-topic", if so - feel free to move it and sorry for the problem.
It's been moved to off topic.
472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What ways can a trader raise money? on: May 06, 2024, 01:45:17 PM
What will you advise, would you advise them that at a level when they are sure of their knowledge should try to convince other people they know to give them some money as investment or convince strangers to invest in them?
Please be kind to others and don't do this if everyone is reading here and thinking of this as an option.

Don't mess around and don't bother other people that are quiet with their own lives and you'd suddenly appear on their lives and try to convince them to fund you even if you're not a good trader.

I've seen good traders that are true profitable but avoids this kind offer.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: May 06, 2024, 12:19:54 PM
Day trading is actually trading crypto coins, while keeping for long term is investment, so the former is short term and the latter is long term, so the better one depends on the preference of every individual. Although more people hodl which is investment than trading, because it's less risky compared to trading, but it can be boring just waiting for a very long time, even years to get the perfect ROI, where you can make as much in trading on a very short time, or lose everything. Trading is very technical and requires learning skills but investment doesn't need much skills to start, but it's important to hodl  reputable coins like Bitcoin.
HODLING is less risky.

We have been holding for years and we're a real testament to it and that's why we're still doing it. You trade freely and do everything that you want to do.

But as you trade, don't forget about the importance of having your own holding that you're setting for the long term because it will bag you more profit.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 05, 2024, 11:56:49 PM
Dominican Mitchell really came through for the Cavs. That guy has another gear when it comes to the playoffs. If he were a couple inches taller… I wonder where he’ll end up next year.
He deserve it.

The last time they've played against the Magic, he did everything with all his might but ain't enough. This time, he's able to push it and they're going to be against Celtics.

475  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you suggest... on: May 05, 2024, 11:05:17 PM
If you want to sell it, sell it.

Did you and the driver have been taking the periodic maintenance for specific miles of that car? Because it not, the wear and tear parts of it will certainly going to give you more cost and headache.

It's easier to maintain maintenance than to wait for its wear and tear to come for replacement and actual repair.
476  Other / Off-topic / Re: Reborn and returned to the past, I want to buy Bitcoin! ! on: May 05, 2024, 10:30:52 PM
The future of BTC is no doubt brighter than we can ever imagine. Did we anticipated that this much attention from the institutions are going to be that big?

IMHO, I didn't.

Coming to all of those interested institutions, making a very big and bold move about it having an active spot ETF.
477  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gaming strategies on: May 05, 2024, 11:51:13 AM
There are also games that have no effective strategy to play, such as gambling that has no strategy, gambling is based on your money, there are gamblers who are addicted to gambling and are driving themselves to destruction, but they continue to gamble,

I think these gamblers will eventually end on their own, gambling is a mental addiction, these addictions will not become addictions for you.
For gambling that are luck based, there is no strategy at all but it will be based on how you are going to decide. But if they are games like poker and sport betting, there is a strategy with that.

Gambling addiction is being obtained by someone when he reaches to the peak of his own gambling activity. When he cant live a day without gambling and he can do crazy decisions like selling stuff for gambling.

And when it hits you mentally, you have to take caution and solve it either on your own or with the help of people that surrounds you.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 05, 2024, 11:07:07 AM
I do not think that casinos will ask kyc if there is no intervention by the government. Because they want to make business without any interruption and not to govr headache to their customers.

What they like is repeat customers because that sets their foundation and it always is the best for business when they have been trusted and liked by the customers because of ease.

However, as they want to stay in business and the government pushes for kyc because of the regulations, they have to obey.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not get discouraged by the current price of Bitcoin on: May 05, 2024, 10:33:12 AM
Oh just relax guys after going to 73k why are we worried at this price now lol
No worries at all if you know and seen how and last year has started.

Those that are worried probably bought at the new peak which is $73k.

The best is yet to come and who will be the most patient wins.
480  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merits of emotional intelligence on: May 05, 2024, 08:49:38 AM
IMHO, there should be a balance. Emotional and intellectual intelligence are still best to have if you have them equal.

Some are forgetting to be emphatic with others feeling when they are too self centered and intelligent.

They all mean to think of themselves as intelligent people and they are correct at all times but in all reality, they are not and shouldn't be.
