461  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do not make gambling the only activity you do for fun. on: April 01, 2024, 02:50:07 PM
Can someone really gamble for the fun of it without having emotions attached to it because money is involved.
At first, possible.

But in the long run, it's very unlikely that someone will gamble without having the emotions. Because every single cent that we spend in gambling, they're all precious and that should be taken seriously by all of us.

We just don't want to gamble and lose but we keep on track with our money and that's why the emotions are high when we gamble especially when we're losing.

Incredible win for NAVI and a well deserve trophy for the entire team but also very well deserved for aleksib who has been in the CS pro scene for a decade now.

Faze played well but couldn't handle the pressure on 3rd map and that made all the calls from Faze to be in doubt because they were losing round after round. I also feel a bit bad for Frozen but he was the best player from Faze today and too bad his team wasn't on the same level.

I can also say that PGL did a fantastic job with this major and the final reached a peak of 500k viewers at some point which is amazing! CS will never die and that is a solid fact.  Cool Cool Cool
Congratulations to Navi for winning PGL major Copenhagen and not only that, they're automatically qualified to two another grand major and great event and tournament.

These are they;

  • Blast Premier World Final
  • Esports WC 2024
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: March 31, 2024, 10:37:43 PM
Do you consider this a category of gambling game?
It is gambling because you have to insert coin which is like the deposit we do in casinos in return to have a chance to win a stuff toy or anything that's inside the claw machine.

What are the chances on long run?
I don't usually win there and it's like 1:100 to me.

Skills matter, or do you have to be lucky, nevertheless?
Both IMHO.

I am not sure with those tiktok videos that they're able to cheat out a claw machine and they were winning like it's a normal day to them for every token they insert.
464  Other / Off-topic / Re: Noticing sign of gambling addiction before it gets worst on: March 31, 2024, 09:44:16 PM
If you have been doing some activities repeatedly then you're into it and that might because you're addicted to it.

You can't get hold of yourself and you just want to gamble all day long without having any troubles of worrying about tomorrow and what will be the amount of loss you'll make.

Too many signs and as long as you're getting back to the casino, whether you just visit them or you actually play, those are signs.
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This bitcoin bull market isn't over yet ! on: March 31, 2024, 08:29:56 PM
As we can see on previous halving the ATH happen months before the halving so according to previous history of bitcoin which were parabolic bull runs
So its time to HOLD
Before? Usually, the ATH happens after the halving and that's why despite that there's a new ATH before the halving for this cycle, I don't think we're on the peak yet.

Therefore I would like to get some feedback on this do you agree that Bull Market isn't over yet ?
We're just getting started and why people are thinking that it's almost over already? Don't get excited folks, it hasn't peaked yet.
466  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 31, 2024, 11:52:34 AM
It is true that as leaders in the family they should look after their family so that their family's needs can be met and if they still have the desire to gamble, of course it will be very difficult for them to be able to fulfill their needs and of course if this continues then family relationships will end.
It won't end quickly but it will shatter if the leader of the family which is the father gambles a lot and starts to ignore his family's need.

Once the children starts to complain that they aren't given time by their pops, that will be remembered by them forever.

Kids are too sharp in their memories as they will always remember on how you've spent your time with them, the same goes if you don't.
467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to kucoin? on: March 31, 2024, 11:13:11 AM
The news about the founders involved to money laundering is what makes people withdraw money on them. I think they have used the opportunity for being non compliant to kyc from their users is what made them confident to attract more users to deposit on them.

And as they have seen the opportunity for using it as more users deposit on them for being confident of having no kyc, this gave them that moment.

The point here is that no one should trust exchanges if it is about depositing money in the exchanges.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the #1 rule you live by in sports betting? on: March 31, 2024, 09:32:14 AM
Not to gamble with others money. That is my rule to myself because if I cannot afford to gamble then I shouldn't and much better not to force and find a way to do it.

One of the ways that many gamblers does when they do not have money anymore, is they find a way to gamble and that is why it is better not to gamble and not to borrow just to gamble.
469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on the market right now? on: March 31, 2024, 08:57:59 AM
I want to stock up on alts for the spot now. What do you think, should I buy now or should I wait?
Buy stable coins first so that you are ready if ever you have altcoins to buy on your mind.

Because if you will wait for more dip, it might not happen anymore. We are about to get and enter into the bull run.

For that reason, buy if you can still cheap altcoins that you are planning to have because if you do not and you see them skyrocketing, who would you blame?
470  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can family members help a gambling addict? on: March 31, 2024, 08:11:59 AM
With social pressure nowadays, many are sharing their problems with their friends instead of their family. But if you are a problematic gamer and you are struggling badly, your family will be the one to help you without any reservation.

But again, going with the problem that is being shown in the society like this. They do not want to get close to their family because of it and some other reasons that they feel of being shamed by them.

In the end, whoever cheers you up, take those moments if it helps you.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Away Bitcoin To Avoid Estate Tax on: March 31, 2024, 07:12:14 AM
I think it all sums up when Bitcoin was already sold and converted into fiat. As long as it is not yet in fiat then there is no obligation yet to pay for taxes.

And the term usually used for Bitcoin profits is "income tax" and that is why whether you give away your bitcoins or not, the measurement and basis will be on how much the profit you have made from holding to selling.
472  Other / Off-topic / Re: Before you start gambling, do some research first on: March 31, 2024, 05:37:22 AM
It all goes to the idea of being responsible before and after we gamble. Those gamblers that gambles without a source of income are just putting themselves on the wrong turn.

They are ones digging their own holes as they gamble, they are producing new problems to themselves if they are not careful.

We have been hearing stories that results into tragedies in result of their careless as a gambler.
473  Other / Off-topic / Re: Arent men in general more likely to take risks compared to women? on: March 31, 2024, 04:33:47 AM
IMO, we are on the changing era where this kind of argument is no longer a big matter. Whereas what men can do, can be done by women and vice versa.

As for taking risk, I believe it is also biological. If your parents or grandparents or of it runs through your veins that you are investors and risk takers then it can be inherited.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: March 30, 2024, 11:04:54 PM
Elite League will happen later. The first games will be played by Team Secret and VP, Farmers and Talon.

It's nice to see that ah fu that came from the position of coach will now play with Puppey as their position 4 and Coach Heen is back for the team on his original position.

And the same goes for Nigma, I'm excited to watch them play again on this kind of tier 1 tournament.
475  Other / Off-topic / Re: Aren't we getting hacked by unknown phone calls? on: March 30, 2024, 10:22:29 PM
I have been receiving these calls and when I answer, no one responds. I think that there's an outsourcing from whoever is on the other line and they're trying to know if the numbers are active that they can victimize.

I forget the exact term for this scam or hack that they've been doing. But after receiving dozens of it, I am annoyed and never answers them anymore unless they're known to me or they'd text first for whatever they need to me.

Otherwise, if they're important and real matters, they can email, text or message me on my social accounts.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: March 30, 2024, 09:57:59 PM
Emotions are natural. It's impossible not to become emotional in gambling whether winning or losing. Controlling emotions will take time.
I agree.

You'll have to bear with the consequences at the beginning when you're still controlling your emotions. That will take time and won't get into instant.

That's why for you if you're going to take time controlling your emotions, enjoy the process because not everyone gets to enjoy it and can't even control even if they try hard.
477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wait for the right set-up on: March 30, 2024, 09:26:35 PM
People actually don't know how important it is to wait for the right set-up, some traders think that the more you trade the more money you make which is very much unlikely, trading doesn't work like that, you might make a lot of money from 5 to 7 trades, and use just only one trade to lose everything including your initial magin.
That's what most think of trading, they're only looking at that time when it's profitable. But, they have to remember that not everyon becomes successful so quickly with their very first trades.

Telling that they can make money with 5-7 trades, that's even a quick and lucky time to trade and make money out of someone's trade.

Because the normal process will have to make someone the most of losses first before going on with profitability.
When we actually heard the word trading, profits is what will eventually come into our mind. That’s right, based on what most of the crypto influencers have to say. But we’ll only realize once we start to trade that it’s not all about profits but most often losses. In fact, those successful traders today have endured a lot of losses when they were starting so how much more if we jump on trading without getting the right information about trading. While losses are part in trading, but with consistent trading exposure in the market, we can always learn to minimize our trades from losing as we start to take part in learning the process.
So right.

Many of the successful traders today have gone through a lot. They are not just mentioning it and they only share the wins that they have for them to attract people.

But if it's about the losses that they've incurred before all of those successes, they're going to tell a long story that they've endured a lot of it for sure.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 30, 2024, 12:29:04 PM
It's also an important matter to the users.

If a casino asks for it then you know that they've been asking that for you to have a higher limits and will be allowed to get into some withdrawals with such amounts.

There are casinos that don't ask for it but might give you a surprise when they ask you to and that's what is annoying to most.
Exactly, Each gambling place has a different policy. We as users must comply with the existing policies, because as far as I know, Some gambling places do not allow money laundering, So when one of the users makes a withdrawal of a very large amount it is possible must complete identity verification first. As long as you can consider this issue well and the results you get are also big enough, I don't think it's a problem if you follow the existing rules and I'm sure your privacy will be protected.
If we can't take their policy for asking additional requirements like for their KYC then all you have to do is not to make it on them.

Try to find a better one that's going to give you no pressure at all because you're totally fine with them and you'd just gamble without any thinking that you might be asked for kyc later.

But with such centralized casinos nowadays, it's almost not achievable.
479  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if an employee of a betting company misuses company funds for gambling? on: March 30, 2024, 11:46:34 AM
It is a serious matter that will be seriously taken by the company. I won't be surprised if that employee will go to the office and will be lured by the company just to get arrested.

That will be the kind of setup that will happen if the betting company finds out that there's one employee that has became a culprit to the misusage of their funds.
