1401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: November 28, 2023, 11:59:39 PM
People are wiser today. Those that will still use that ftx are going nowhere or probably new to crypto and are just exploring the sides of it.

And those that have seen this issue will never get back and won't use FTX anymore even if they improve infrastructure and will have better offers.

It's just not right to use an exchange that has proved to have ex-owners to be corrupt. And even if they prove themselves right(the new owners/staff) that will only change minimal the point of view of many.
1402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you need to know about trading on: November 28, 2023, 10:54:58 PM
Impatient people are not ideal for trading.

And what they need to learn is not it's not always about the profit that's being bragged by other traders. It's because there's always a story behind the success of someone.

Those profits that they brag probably have gone through a lot of losses before claiming it.
They can just think about the profit if they are capable enough to trade and claim that they are knowledgeable enough. But as long as they are still learning, they first think and focus on analyzing the market and helping it understand with the help of these trading tools available online. They should think about preparation first before thinking about earning as it is easy if we are already fully equipped with knowledge, skills, and strategies as these are the tools needed in order to succeed.
They will figure it out that it's not all about the profit.

But the strongest emotion, the best in analysis and the ones who are able to read the charts and fundamentals are the ones likely to make good money in trading.

And as I have said, this is not ideal for everyone. We learn to be patient as you enter trading and even by just being an investor and I think from there is already a good start.
1403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: November 28, 2023, 10:26:27 PM
You just exposed them.  Grin

But it's true that most of these traders are not really profitable, they're making through other source especially on social media.

Ask them to join some trading contests and they won't obliged to join one because they will not show any interest in doing so. That's the reason why they want you to just listen to their contents and that's it.

No live trades but there are some few that does it and are real traders yet, it's still a different thing to be called a profitable trader.
1404  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: November 28, 2023, 09:47:53 PM
This is true.

Other gamblers don't understand that they have been subjected to KYC not only for one thing. Because most believes that it's all about the government forcing casinos to ask for KYC.

Yes, that's one. But the casinos will also ask for verification due to shady activities where they can see it through your account audits or logs.
Every user of a centralized casino must prepare themselves to be willing to verify KYC when they ask you to complete KYC, because some casino regulations have stipulated ToS related to KYC even without the cause of your account log carrying out suspicious activities.

The main point is that you have to be prepared for the risk of KYC if you gamble at a centralized casino, some casinos will require KYC when withdrawing and I think it might be the best option to complete KYC on your gambling registration account because your account will not have problems with KYC.
That's like the mind of every gambler now.

We're all prepared to get KYC even if the casino says that they are fine with no-kyc policy for most of their users. And that is because you'll never know if they're going to ask you later on.

As for them, they're also only following the policy of the government so if they say so, they would do so.
1405  Other / Off-topic / Re: What did you buy from steam's autumn sale? on: November 28, 2023, 09:08:09 PM
None.

What I am hunting for now are the free games from Steam and Epicgames and even on Ubisoft. But I have got some plans on what I'll buy on Steam.

Who's with the COD franchises? I have bought like 4-5 franchises of it already and I am wanting to buy more. This is one of my favorite games that I've ever played, honestly.

And that makes me want to buy more of it franchises.
1406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: November 28, 2023, 01:36:05 PM
Trading should be for those that have money. That means that it's for those that can afford to trade and knows that it can either be a lose or a win.

It is a reality that you can't trade without money but not all poor people don't have money. It's either they classify themselves as poor because nothing is left with them after obligations paid.

Is anyone of you have an idea on how the new team from Japan, Reject May plays? I have seen them in some posts and I have no idea about this team for Dota 2 that is based in Japan.

It is the first time hearing this team name from the Japan. And the players that they have, the roster itself are unknown names and never heard of them.

Anyone who is familiar with them?

I also heard about this team a few days ago. They're all new to me as well. But Japan is pretty sure a country with a lot of gamers including DOTA 2. In the past, I remember some Japanese teams participated in lesser events. Maybe their teams are not just good enough to make it into Division 1. I heard Sony is one of its main sponsors so it should be good financially. But they have to prove it and make it into the bigger competitions otherwise Reject will just withdraw from the DOTA 2 scene just like the other big e-sports teams in the past who failed to win significant matches.
I just hope that many Japanese will also get into Dota 2. I've got a friend that's base there but just a casual dota 2 player and in no way gonna reach the pro scene. But what I am saying that there are players there but not that much wide of range.

And for this team, if Sony is one of their sponsors. I guess that many pro players would like to even touch Japan team or any mena team. These regions seems to be financially well if it's about salaries and stuff.

But of course, the competition for now is in WEU, EEU and CN.

It's too early to assume things and I think it is going to be another wild ride for them for these upcoming tournaments.
I don't know but I feel like it's going to be good for them but then again, more updates will come in the next year and those might make them create new strategies or maybe even worse, they might be eliminated as they've been eliminated in 2022 and like how Tundra was eliminated early in the 2023 tournament. Hopefully as solid and no changes is foreseeable for Team Spirit, I hope that they're going to make another appearance in the International 2024 and hopefully snag the Aegis again but then as you've said, there's a lot of things that can happen.
Yup, I'm wishing for that as well and who knows if they'll make a threepeat.

Welcome to the forum and as suggested, make use of your copper membership and put some attractive images.

And in regards to being transparent, it's nice that you have mentioned that someone needs to get into level-2 kyc in order to withdraw. At least that's clear before someone complains that they can't withdraw and you have asked for it.

Anyway, just to say that it is one reason why many won't proceed and already stops them in knowing a casino when they can see what they like at the start.

It’s not about how huge your withdrawal but depends on the overall activity of your account since you can be subjected immediately to KYC if you show some shady activity.
This is true.

1413  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where to post sport news in this platform. on: November 27, 2023, 04:37:37 PM
If the sports has relation in gambling then it's okay to post that on Gambling Discussion --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=228.0

If not, then you're totally fine to post it on this section and just update your thread by posting continuously with those sports news that you like to post.

Anyway, most of the sports topic are on the gambling discussion so I guess you'll be fine posting it there.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 27, 2023, 12:48:34 PM
Reality wise, rich people is greedier in terms of making more money and sucking all the possibilities and potentials.
It's because they have practiced obtaining wealth and strategies that they've learned along their way to riches. That's why it's true that for every problem, they're looking for every solutions and opportunities.

We can't blame them for developing that skill because making their way to riches is actually a skill.

And, if they are able to reach their financial freedom at a younger age, that means more freedom and more time for them to do other things to make more money.

1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: November 26, 2023, 11:43:58 PM
There are gambling games that also require skill and knowledge to increase the probability of winning.
Yes! We can't ignore those games that don't have whole requirements of luck to win. If you want to stay longer when you gamble, you should choose those games where you can stay a little bit longer through playing those games.

It's not all about luck, we can say that luck plays a big factor in gambling but if you have skill it can increase your chance of winning.
That gives you the point of staying longer and you're right, to increase your chance of winning. There are gamblers that no matter how lucky they are, that's still not enough when you're going to accompany it with skills because luck fades.
1417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Capital Gain Tax on Crypo on: November 26, 2023, 11:01:41 PM
I live in UK currently.

As I understand you can deduct your losses on crypto which should account for tax-free limit. Check koinly and blockpit, links below.

https://koinly.io/guides/hmrc-cryptocurrency-tax-guide/

https://blockpit.io/en/tax-guides/crypto-tax-uk-hmrc/
Not from there so I am not familiar with those taxation laws that the country is implementing. If these articles are telling the same thing, then that's all you have to do for you to obey.

Good for you that you're trying to educate yourself on doing this, while some are trying to avoid it.

Because every time they had a little FUD, it couldn't HODL its emotions and sold off in a panic! Talk about commitment issues in the blockchain dating scene. 😄💔 #CryptoHeartbreaks  Grin
I don't get this but nice try.

Why did cryptocurrency break up with its girlfriend?
My answer is that she can't handle the roller coaster ride of the market.  Tongue

You mean, the sideways, the pump, dumps, the bumps and so on.

Another one, because she can't take the heat...of the market. LOL.

I'm not good at this but at least I tried.
1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: November 26, 2023, 11:21:10 AM
If you are a professional or a partime gambler in life time you once try to recover loss. Recover loss is dangerous. When you try to recover loss you risk you money that you are using the amount you try to recover. Your emotion work here highy because you are already in loss and you are risking money for recovery. That's the reason i prefer not to do chasing losses.
Recovering your losses becomes dangerous when you have no idea yet on what might happen as you recover. And that is because many keep on recovering their losses instead of calling that a rest for the day and the result opposite to what they expected.

When I lose today, that is enough for this day. If ever I have a good time tomorrow and made profit decently, then that is my recovery. But if I lose again, then just calling it as normal losing day.
