Just for the record I did not say it would be released yesterday. That was 5k who is not on the team based on assumptions that it would be testing all weekend and that testing would take 2 days. I did not release monday as a deadline.
Boris reported this norning that he is working on a hot fix for the load times now. The problem and solution are both known. It just needs to be fixed.
18:29:03 <fivekbtc> so, to conclude thus far 0.1.8 is in testing, if no bugs release on monday, logo done, design coming along, boris on the 18th gets to know if he can go or not, developer probably start today/tomorrow (?) developing about to speed up, NRP script recoded. correct so far? 18:29:17 <@GreXX> Yup 18:29:19 <@GreXX> sounds about right 21:12:26 <Wulfcastle> Okay, second question. Do you have any time frame on v0.1.8? It was supposed to be out last week, but it hasn't even entered testing yet. 21:12:37 <@GreXX> That is also in the paste 18:07:53 <fivekbtc> so in 2 days there'll be some answers on 0.1.8 if it's working or not? 18:07:55 <@GreXX> 5k, the block explorer, as mentioned, would be open sourced and put on Git once the new version was out. 18:08:00 <@GreXX> That is still my plan to have that pushed. Anyway Pastebin tldr from what was said:
New stable version tomorrow if it go through testing
Just for the record, I simply copy pasted IRC conversations for everyone to see, just like it was supposed to. Don't look at me because it didn't go through testing. Anyway, I'm putting my XCR away and hoping for the best and moving on for a while. Good luck. PROMISE???

Hey guys,
I can help you get your coins back from Mintpal. I'm from TeamFLT (fluttercoin), and may help your devs-leaders with it.
Let me know - and good luck with your future development.
Soltantgris, Team FLT.
We never had any XCR on MintPal. We were supposed to be part of the V2, but it never happened........ thank GOD. I did, however, lose some personal BTC and about 300,000 JPC. Can you get that back for me?

TO all our loyal bloggers:
5000Bitcoins is heavily involved in SuperNet. Remember that when reading his posts
I think they are well aware, considering I've stated this several times. This isn't even the subject of discussion now also I can only say two things: the response I received by bringing up supernet to you made me well aware to drop it as a suggestion. And the people of this community knows I am heavily involved in XCR, and they, just like me, are confused. I am here because I want to find out clarification on this: customchains (?) bter/poloniex/cryptsy (?) blockchain explorer (?) new db structure (?) pot (?) Period. If you remember from the 2 1/2 hour Skype discussion we had, I stated my position as not opposing Snet, but desiring to wait until we had more to offer. Right now XCR is nothing more than "just another ALTCOIN". I also am suspicious of you and your motives, as you refuse to identify yourself, yet you try to hard sell us on Snet. I would not buy a car from a salesman wearing a mask.

Lame attempt to get a BTC payment to vote for a listing. If you had done a few seconds of research you would have discovered that XCR is a node.js based currency....... your gambling pool only accepts 256SHA coins. SHEEESH!!!

Okay, I'll bite.
1) What will Vericoin add to Supernet?
2) What will Snet add to Vericoin?

@GreXX
Any chance that we'll get to see a peek of Christine's new designs for the logo and website this weekend?
I hope for more than a peek. There were so many different choices, that it is mind boggling. Could never get a majority vote on one when there are a dozen or more to pick from, so we are having GreXX pick the final design. Are you talking about Christine's designs? Did she submit close to a dozen designs Shouldn't the community vote on the final design? Have a few more opinions.. Regards, Brian Between her designs and the ones from 99 designs, and with all the color variations per design, yes, there were far too many to pick from. I dont think any design got more than 2 votes. We left it up to GreXX to decide, or "make a command decision" as he put it. Also, everyone is so busy with the CBC and the PoT, and wallet issues, that the design has had very little attention paid to it.

I quoted this from many pages back and seemed to got lost and ignored. I am still having this problem. Anybody else use windows wallet successfully? Every single time I use my window wallet to send it makes 2 confirmations then resets to 0 confirms and repeats over and over in a loop. After some hours if I log out and back in then my balance returns to the original as if I never attempted the send. I've done this many times. I've tried it on windows 7, 8, and 2 laptops with 8.1. My windows wallet shows the correct blocks and when Bter sends me xcr the window wallet shows the correct balance. Its just all send attempts fail. Please this is obvious very important. Anybody else uses window wallet successfully?
Boris is working on the wallet the past few days, and should have an updated version ready when the testing om testnet is complete. Instead of using your PC based wallet, try using the crypti.me wallet to send your coins.

forger empty No, what has been happening is that the Crypti wallet has been crashing. The script is set up to send XCR from wallet A to wallet B, and the same amount of XCR from Wallet B to A every 30 seconds. S the amounts balanced, and only the transaction fees resulted in a dduction of the balance. The computer we are using for the wallet is experiencing the same memory issues as your wallet/node, combined with the twice a minute transactions, and crashes every so many hours. As a solution, we are going to move the wallets and script to Google cloud.

Looking for some help. Trying to load Local Crypti Node Windows. Cannot load Blockchain passed 58777.
Sometimes it just takes a long time to load, especially if you have only 3GB RAM, or you are doing other things o the computer Are you on a PC? If so, check your RAM available. Best to use Resource Monitor. There should be 3 listings for node.exe in the memory section. One will e over 400K, likely 800K to 1 GB. If you only have 2 node.exe showing in the memory section, then reboot the computer, not just the node, the computer. Start the node before any other programs. I run the node on a 3GB laptop that does nothing else. When I tru it on my 4GB laptop, that I use for work, it will crash the node eventually when the RAM runs out. Hope this helps SO you guys with the ASIC?GPU farms.......... ONE node per IP. More than that and you are wasting bandwidth, power, and forcing us to start blacklisting IPs. Litoshi, are you saying that you are trying to blacklist IP's from the whole Crypti network? What I am saying is that there are approx 40 or more IPs that are running 20-100 nodes. Only one node per IP can forge a block. The last look I had at the network a few hours ago, still showed about 60 unique IPs, but over 1000 nodes. A check of some of the IPs revealed cloud miners. Others appear to be ASIC/GPU mining farms. So, the chance of getting a forged block, with 60 unique IPs, is 1 chance out of 60 per block. Not 1 out of 1000; or 100 out of 1000 (for a 100 node IP). Watching my own node, I seem to get a forged block about every 50 or so blocks. Apparently the ASIC farms think that by running 100 nodes, they will have a greater chance at forging a block, but thats not true. What they are doing , however, is flooding (DDOS) the network. A 100 node ASIC farm sends 100 duplicate pings to the network every minute. Only one ping counts. The other 99 pings just cause problems. Have you noticed that we still have blocks forging with 0 XCR? That's a result of the stress the multi-node IPs are putting on the network. It will cause even more trouble later, when we have the PoT algo working. The algo would be pinged by many nodes, with the same IP, all having a different timestamp. Unsure what the result of that would be, but it wont increase the nodes chance of forging. It may, in fact, crash the network. One defense we are considering is to blacklist the IPs for a set time that are running more than X number of nodes. We are, of course, always open to suggestions from the community.

A heads up to you guys trying to game the system by running multiple nodes on the same IP. It doesnt work.
I am talking to you: 104.131.159.247 104.131.24.219 104.131.25.48 106.187.42.214 109.73.224.63 109.73.224.74 109.73.224.76
some of you guys are running 20 nodes per IP#
The nodes have to be on unique IP #s, othewise they are treated as one node.
how the fuck do see peopels ip ROFLMAO and post them here dumbfucker nice safe 0.5 xcr txids HAHAHAHA not 1 cheap fucks Forum 8 views how the fuck do see peopels ip ROFLMAO
and post them here dumbfucker because I learned how to use a computer in the 1970s...... about 25 years before you were born. Back in those days you had to know DOS, and UNIX commands. The mouse had not been invented yet. Monitors were green screens. There were not any PCs, just terminals connected to channels connected to mainframes. I bet you dont know even the simplest DOS commands, and what they do, because you are a GUI script kitty. go " fdisk" yourself.

Hm... I do not see any fees, all blocks are empty Boris is rewriting the script to fix the expolits and issues we discovered. This is a BETA version, diba

Hope this helps I had to reboot my computer and the node because we are doing some abuse investigation on the node. Anyway, it took 2.5 hrs for my node on Win 7 to sync the blockchain and get to the log in screen. SO, just be patient, it WILL eventually load. Did you notice earlier today, when we started the forging reward program; that there were many 0 value blocks followed by double pay and even triple pay blocks? That is due to a flood of nodes that are basically DDOSing the system. We seem to be having a lot of nodes from the same IPs. There are like 1000 nodes on the network, but only about 60-80 unique IP#s. Our best guess it that ASIC/GPU farms are using their CPUs (which do very little for an ASIC) to run the nodes. But, like I said earlier, only ONE node per IP will be recognized for forging. The random forging algo uses IP address. Having 20 or more nodes on one IP is just flooding the system with crap. Boris even changed the pay out to every 30 seconds instead of 60 seconds, and it only made the situation worse. SO you guys with the ASIC?GPU farms.......... ONE node per IP. More than that and you are wasting bandwidth, power, and forcing us to start blacklisting IPs.

The CRYPTI NODE REWARD PROGRAM is up and running. You should see forging earnings in your wallet now.
|
|

I would like to see a website with service that you can deposit lets say 100k Crypti and it would create 100 nodes 1000 XCR each forging together. Such a service could take lets say 1% from what your nodes would forge. I suppose it will happen sooner or later.
The problem with this is that you would have to entrust your crypti to a third party, which would have full control of it Each node has to have a unique IP. Running 100 computers on the same IP is still just one node.
