481  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: Cointerra Terraminer IV or other Miner with min. 1 TH/s on: April 16, 2014, 03:35:37 AM
Also ct is selling from stock now ...

Not a shock. Their units are not worth what the are charging. So many people go refunds.
482  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 5 CoinTerra 2 TH Terra Miners (IN HAND) on: April 16, 2014, 03:32:21 AM
These units only run at just over 1.6 TH/s

They were sold as 2 TH/s and this is what people know them as.

The last units I sold were in the $11,000 to $12,500 range. This was a while ago and I do not expect this price.

Thanks
483  Economy / Computer hardware / 5 CoinTerra 2 TH Terra Miners (IN HAND) on: April 15, 2014, 11:47:26 PM
5 CoinTerra 2 TH Terra Miners (IN HAND)

I have 5 of these and I am willing to sell them. Will take reasonable offers. I will not accept paypal or cash. Only BTC, LTC or bank wire.

Will do a discount if you buy more than one.

These are operational and are currently running. I will assist with warranty if it becomes an issue.

I have sold 15 of these on the forum already and no issues so far.

Thanks.

If the conversation fail, it is time for legal action.

Yup. Once your lawyers get a hold of him he is very keen on making a settlement. I might be the only investor who has been made whole in this pile of fail.
485  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 05, 2014, 03:32:39 AM
Please explain how you plan to "make it work."  You should be begging for liquidation like everyone else as it's in your best interest.

I agree. Having Garr quit and then hand the hardware out to semi random people all over the place is just asking for trouble. Not what I signed up for.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Demographics of Bitcoin early adopters? on: April 04, 2014, 10:35:50 PM
Pretty impossible to know, wouldn't surprise me if the surveyed demographic was white, straight and male, hardly surprising they would boast about it vs the opposite kind of people.

What the hell is the opposite of white, straight and male?

black gay and female?
487  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 09:39:49 PM
Well part of the problem with the take over is that these 5 people will need to go to Canada to get the units. That might be a pain in the ass.

Also you should all consult your lawyers before taking over operations of this company. There are already things in motion and unless you think this would be a legal thing to do, I would rally check out if you want to attach your name to this company in the form of management. You might end up being the one holding the legal bag when all the stuff Garr did catches up. In the end he might just blame you guys. Anyway if you are an American I would really really think twice about operating Cognitive in its current form. Clearly I will refuse to take part in a management role.

I do understand why you want to do this however. Garr is never going to give up the units or the mining power. The vote fraud more or less proves this.
488  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 03:51:14 PM
I hear you, and i would bet thats the kind of discussion Goat and Garr had back in the hotel some weeks ago, but all past and recent performances surely point to the latter option by now. The necessary clean up is solely down to how much 'character' Garr possesses, or is prepared to give, going forward.

Yes. He pretty much lied to my face about things he was doing and things he would do. He is using that $9,000 to host not only our CT units but his personal collection (something he claims he does not even have). Also he lied about how many of our CT units he had. I can post the tracking numbers if needed.

I pretty much have been working with Garr directly for just about a year as Cognitives largest shareholder (I started dumping recently to make a point). He has kept saying he would do this and that and asked for more money. As some of you know we only got the CT units at the price we did cuz I bought the other half. All the other stuff I helped out failed in one way or the other. I can't prove it but I think he just pocked the money.

I was able to get these CT units to work in my basement and my dad can keep them running with spending 5 mins every other day checking to see if the lights are on. Why can Garr not get them to work in three different locations? Seems highly odd that my dad can do it, and he can not. Also about the warehouse not being ready he told me it was in person and was over skype months ago.

You guys do not know the hours I put into talking about this and trying to get this operation working. Garr clearly has no interest in doing so and is just trying to make me look bad while he steals hashing power and takes money from the operation. He is trying to make it look like I am the one who is destroying Cog when all I have done is give him more and more money. He is the one who is either stealing or just too lazy to turn the boxes on.

Did you know Garr owes CT about $6,000 for shipping? How much more to the data center? How much for shipping all the CT units around? I honestly think Cog does not have much of any wealth left to it at all.

But we could clearly check this with a transparent dividend system and a transparent list of all property and debts. Something Garr has told us all he would do right away.

But what did he do? He is trying to fund a hash fast production line, and he is trying to buy more units from CT. This guy is a non stop scammer and has stolen from me, from my personal hardware he was running (and I never got my hardware back) and also from money I gave him to buy hardware.

I too was at a point for a long time that we need to fix this, clearly that will not happen and this will end in tears.

Yes, clearly Garr is fucking around with the votes and should do it again after he is transparent with what we own. But he is too busy traveling the world making deals with our money.

See most of you have no idea what is going on, and your putting faith in this scammer is just silly.

Notice how the PR guy only came back to talk about the two elections and not about any of the other points? Who cares about the two elections. Why were you not being honest about how many units you had? Why not tell us why they are not running? Why not tell us how much debt we have? Why not tell us how Garr is on some trip around the world "doing something great for Cognitive"?

All Garr does is come here and claim he is doing great work for Cognitive and that is clearly a lie.

Anyway you guys do what you will in your way, and I will do mine.
489  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 02:38:13 AM
It could be argued that he's talking about the current results not necessarily the final results.

In any event Garr clearly thinks we should close up. It would be best just to have the vote again. Clearly Garr has had the units for well over a month and has not been able to get them running, even with paying $9,000 plus shipping for hosting.

Honestly the reason why Garr is unable to close Cog is that I know he is pretty much underwater here. He owes just about as much as he can sell the units for. If he does sell of the units and pay us out, there will be almost nothing. People will get upset. He is just trying to buy time.

Edit: This is assuming he has not just been stealing our mining power. Honestly I think Garr is too dumb to not figure out how to turn on the CT boxes. They are very easy to operate.

Have you sold all your CT machines yet or are you keeping some?

I have 5 left, the others sold between $11,000 and $13,000. But they really are so easy to run. You plug them in, upload a file (something I sent Garr personally) and then you walk away. I have had two cores go down in the two months I have had them. To fix it, you just unplug and then plug them back in. What Garr is doing with the some times they work, some times they don't is clearly a joke. If he can get them running they should stay running. He has made so much BTC off of this it is not even funny. You guys do what you will but I know what is going on and I will take the correct action the only way I know how. He might have tricked you all, but he did not trick me.

Edit: They are so easy to run, and care free I have my father run my CT units. All he does is check if the light are blinking. If they are not, he un plugs them and plugs them back in. He checks every other day or so. For Garr to be so fail he can not get these to stay running, lulz.
490  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 02:31:04 AM
All, who really cares about the bogus motions.  The fact is we need to liquidate.

If you disagree with liquidation please show me a way out and how it's going to be better to keep this operation going?

Anyone?

Sell your shares to a greater fool. That is what others want to do. They know if they close it now, they can't get the .6 BTC they paid. Peace comes with accepting your loss. Do not worry about Garr, Karma is a bitch.

I'm saying we can safely assume 7 days because that was agreed on in one form or another in the past, once we moved away from the 2 week thing, and also based off the fact that the first motion was 7 days.

How can we assume 7 days if he already said the vote was over yesterday and counted them today? 7 days and we still have 2 more days. If that is the case I could buy 500 shares now and still win. That is a bit silly eh?
493  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 02:21:12 AM
we could probably assume 7 days

No we can not. It has not even been 7 days. And the Cog-PR guy said it was over and Garr agreed we needed to sell everything off.
494  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 02:16:41 AM
The second was started on the 27th to finish today.

Not True. Cog-PR said it had ended yesterday. I quoted him. I sold after he said it had ended and the results would be posted.

Garr clearly owes me a public apology or 25 BTC.

Garr if you pay the 25 BTC I will donated it to a charity and will make the transaction public. However I doubt you will man up and pay out.
495  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 01:47:49 AM
So there should be 17 units hashing?

17 x 1.6 = 27.2

Is that what you are getting at? Are the whole timeline ordeal? Possibly the combo of both?

That was as of the end of Feb. Cog was owed more than what was shipped. He should have gotten 4 to 5 more units in March like I did.  CT in the end did pay out full for the hashing power and the late stuff.

I do not have tracking for the last 4 or 5 units for Garr. Ravi did not send that to me.

As you requested I removed the tracking. Fair enough.

However if you claim this is faked I hold the right, as we agreed to, to forward this e-mail to anyone who asks.

Without tracking I don't see what is relevant. Can you elaborate on what this picture shows?

When Garr was shipped the units from CT. As he did not want the tracking posted that is fine for privacy reasons as long as he does not say that this is fake and he admits the document is correct I will not post the tracking numbers. However if I need to prove that this is not fake I am willing to do so.

Edit: I'm only post this because I guess the document was not understandable with out the context. I really do not want to take part in this thread anymore unless you have direct questions like this to me. I'm pretty much over trying to improve Cog or get Garr to do his job.

Ok so we have proof of shipment. What we need are tracking numbers for proof of delivery. So since we have confirmation of shipment:

Tracking numbers have not been released because the units have not been shipped. I will gladly post them and a confirmation from CoinTerra when they ship.

Let's see the tracking numbers.

If Garr says I am full of shit I will post the tracking numbers.
497  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 04, 2014, 01:43:01 AM
I originally voted against liquidation but I am inclined to change my vote (given the recent "mathing" - which though I haven't verified, looks legit).  Garr, Sam, if you have a counter-argument to "300BTC versus 50BTC", you should post it now, or expect a flood of vote changing. =/

Garrett agrees with the math. Assuming these calculations are correct, it seems that our best option is to liquidate. Garrett is going to post the current results of the motion on the Cognitive Mining website tonight.

More updates to come.

- Samuel

When this was posted I had well over 225 shares. The motion was closed. I had every reason to expect it was closed.

We know you have more than that. Get a decent amount and we can do this. You just pretending to have fuck all is not going to work.

Anyway you with out a doubt forced my hand on this legal shit I was trying to work out. Funny how it started as a bluff to get you to focus on your job but now you will odds are end up in jail.

Edit: The bet is on semantics and I know why you wont put up the money. But your reaction and what you said about me in the PM pretty much just ended all this "working things out".  You will hear from my lawyers soon.

Edit 2: And unless you come up with some decent BTC to bet I'm done in this thread. And done with PMs.
