482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: October 14, 2017, 06:05:10 PM
Bitcoin is better than Paypal in many ways. There's a lot of documents and they deduct too much when you withdraw.
Paypal is full of rules, Paypal users must have credit card to verify . Anyway,  if we already have credit card why we still need to use paypal. Bitcoin is more practical to use than any remittance service because it is fast, practicall, and the fee is lower. Bitcoin also become good investment because the price is keep increasing.
I  think paypal involves more service charge than bitcoin. We all know paypal needs to be linked to our bank accounts, whether its credit or debit. In every transaction, paypal has its own charge plus your bank’s service fee. As for my condition, the currency my country is in is not dollars, therefore I a conversion is involved and we all know that those charts are not stable. There are really times when you’ll pay more than past transactions.

I used to use Paypal but then after realizing that they have ridiculous percentage for fees, I stopped using it. Bitcoin is a lot better than Paypal in this field. Bitcoin transactions are almost free. Paypal's transaction is in percentage so the more money you transact, the more fees you are going to pay. And to say that you have saved yourself from the ridiculous fees by having microtransactions, well you didn't because paypal's fee is a fixed amount of money + some percentage of the money you are transferring.

In addition to that, there are numerous reports that Paypal is freezing accounts for no reason. It is 180 days freeze, that's half a year. Plus, Paypal's dispute feature is being abused by scammers. You thought you have successfully received payment and so you sent the item. After a while, the guy disputes the transaction. You don't even have a protection against these scammers. Bitcoin basically saves you from all of this tragedy.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: October 14, 2017, 05:51:21 PM
I think bitcoin is not for teenagers or children because it is hard to understand and difficult to learn. Honestly it is already hard to explain it to adult, what more to teeanagers right? And I thinks they should focus on their school first. Just let them wait until they are in the right age.

I think that teenagers are already in the right age. Teenagers are doing amazing things in life already these days. Some of them already know how to live by themselves, some already know how to code or even make a website, etc. Teenagers or the Millennials just have amazing skill and knowledge in computers. In the future, these Millennials will have bitcoin as a daily thing. It will be a normal thing to them.

Adults are, most of the time, closed minded on things especially the techy stuffs. It's hard to explain to adult, but just because teenagers are younger, that doesn't mean that they are less open to this new topic. Teenagers are actually craving more and more knowledge for different things because this makes them feel stronger and more alpha than other teenagers.

I think that it's the kids that should be focusing on their studies. Teenagers already know enough and can easily pick up with new things.
484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: October 14, 2017, 05:26:03 PM
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!

There are many ways to grow up our bitcoins but for me the best and hazzle free is trading,co'z in trading only you have to do is to invest any kind of alternating coins and hold or sell it, in the times the value of the coins you bought is times two or more than the value you buy,all we can do is to have  patience and strategies to earn more profit  of what we have wants to earn.

Ain't life so great? Until one day you bought a coin at a high price, coin went down, and kept on going downhill until it ultimately died. Trading is full of hassles, to be honest and it's probably the one that have the most hassle because you are risking your money in order to make some more money. Compared to having a day job or just doing signature campaigns, you have to actually know stuffs in trading. Sometimes it takes months before a coin goes up again. Sure sometimes you can easily make profit from trading but most of the time? Not at all. That's why people just do leverage trade and do things fast. They see results faster than having to hold a coin.

Other also do scalping which is investing a lot of bitcoins into one coin and then selling that coin for just a slightly higher price. It's a good way to trade but if the coin dies or you got tired of waiting and decide to just sell for a lower price, then you are going to lose lots of money.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: October 14, 2017, 05:06:01 PM

Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink

IT sounds like its going back to the past where people are using barter trades, no cash they are just trading goods for another goods that they want. no one is manipulating the trade no governing body is saying if the trade is fair or not.

It almost the same with crypto people who are involved are the one who is determining if the trade/exchanges are fair based on their trust or belief.

Money is not equal cash. Money can be in different forms. It can be in digital form. I think the 'cash' being discussed here is the fiat money that we have. It's the physical one. So if you are using credit or debit card to pay for something, you are not using fiat money at all and you are part of the cashless society. The population of people using card is growing because it's a lot more convenient. Sometimes if you pay with cash, some money slips off, you miscount the money, and end up paying more than what you have to. Of course not all cashiers are honest enough to give back the exceeding amount of money especially if the cashier is the store owner himself.

Cryptocurrency can also be considered as money (since it's a currency). So people are not necessarily going to trade a cow for a pig. No medieval stuff like barter trade at all.

489  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: October 13, 2017, 04:32:22 PM
One of the ways to double our money using BTC is the long term investment with this type of investment the possibility to double the money is 90-100% because bitcoin has the potential and it will grow and grow in the coming years.
I agree with your opinion, because if viewed from the graph of price movement bitcoin very potential to be a promising investment media compared with other investment media.

to double your money in bitcoin need a long time. better put it in altcoin because of the potential increased 100% faster and even within 1 day can increase 50-100%.

I agree to that. Altcoins are even more volatile than bitcoin in terms of price so it is easy to tell that you can easily grow your bitcoin into getting a doubled amount of value in terms of fiat rather than just holding your bitcoin or money in bitcoin. Keep doing research to find more feedbacks or opinions if which is the best to put our money and you will see that there is a higher portion of people that will prefer altcoin in terms doubling our money.
Well, altcoin is a good choice for us to double our money but the most important thing is that we need a choice and an accurate prediction, and want to do this, we will need a lot of experience and good analytical skills, it is not simple and not everyone can succeed. I think it is better to focus on bitcoin trading, buy low and sell high, it is simple and quite safe, and it does not require us too much skill and experience, this is a job that requires patience, although time doubling money may be longer but much safer

For that to happen, you have to really be aware of the current price of bitcoin. Altcoin market moves as bitcoin market moves. Since bitcoin has increased dramatically these past few days, the majority of altcoins are down and you should expect them to go down even harder as bitcoin gets a higher price. I used to believe that I am holding good altcoins but then when the price of bitcoin went up, all of them died. So my advise is to trade altcoins just as long as bitcoin isn't moving yet. Once it starts to make a significant move, sell all of your altcoins. Altcoins are going down for sure and people will keep on selling their altcoins even if they bought it for a higher price because of the fear of being the last one to jump off a sinking ship.

Altcoins are good. But they are just not that good in the long run, even ETH is down today. In order to be safe from the unexpected dump of the altcoin market, you should exchange your altcoins to bitcoins once you have made some profit.
490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: October 13, 2017, 01:48:47 PM
shapeshift.io ?

Shapeshift is a website where you can buy some coins without having to register. To be honest, shapeshift takes a lot more time than trading sites, plus, their fee is even more. You can't trade right away in that website unlike in actual trading sites. I advise that you do trading in an actual website and do shapeshift.io only if you need one quick trade (although not really quick).

You can trading shitcoin if only have small amount Cheesy
Because shitcoin if pump get 4-10x  Grin

Shitcoin requires little movement for you to get 4x multiplier. Let's say for example a coin has a value of 40 satoshis only have to become 160 satoshis each to have a 4x movement. The larger the price of a coin is, the more absolute numbers is requires to be a multiple of something. ETH is 0.057BTC at the moment and it needs to be 0.228BTC to have the same 4x multiplier. We all know that 0.057BTC is so far from 0.228BTC.

492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 12, 2017, 06:22:12 PM
That is a really risky move because bitcoin is not backed by any commodity at all. No government has issued bitcoins and so if the price goes down, then you have no one to blame but yourself. It is obvious that people are manipulating the price of bitcoin. Today we are experiencing a huge price increase in the price of bitcoin and someone might be just manipulating the price and this is just nothing but another pump and dump movement.

If you are going to turn all your money in bitcoins, it's not only risky but also inconvenient. Not much in the market are accepting bitcoin and if you are simply going to buy basic things like food and stuff, then you really need to use fiat money which you don't have anymore.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 12, 2017, 06:08:39 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

I think that a lot of things can happen in 5 years and there's a lot of factors affecting what's going to happen with bitcoin but I think that in 5 years, earning money from something like bitcoin will be such a normal thing. So normal that you don't have to explain what you are doing anymore unlike today. Today everyone's asking about how I am earning money from the Internet and I just told one friend about it then it scattered like virus. Now everyone's talking about it, it's so annoying. In 5 years, people are either not excited about the idea anymore because it's a normal thing or people are really excited because everyone wants to earn money from the Internet. Who really knows? What I know is that I will be in my room secluded from this people.

What I'm excited about 5 years from now is the price of bitcoin? If we reached 5,400$ today, then how much more would the price of bitcoin be in 5 years.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: October 12, 2017, 06:00:26 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

I think not, the only people that can be corrupt are the government officials and as you can see we don't have that in here. Bitcoin is decentralized and one guy is not above the other guy just because he has more bitcoins. I think the only problems that we might be having the future is that pioneer bitcoin users have so much bitcoins and the price of bitcoin is already in millions. The newcomers can't do anything about that and all they can do is to buy bitcoin at a really high price. Bitcoin will be really scarce since some people are holding the major part of it, and those same people will have power. They will have the power to manipulate the market. Plus, since they have so much bitcoins (money) then they are already powerful. Remember that rich people are also powerful people because of their money.

I don't think bitcoin can lead to corruption but it can lead to unbalanced distribution of power because of money. Oh well, that's what we currently have in fiat money anyways so nothing is really new with that.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: October 12, 2017, 05:53:09 PM
I think bitcoin have helped the community in a way that people are starting to agree with a certain idea and that is pretty much needed for us to achieve a peaceful world. Nowadays, people always has a say on something. People have different perspective of things and people are willing to kill somebody just to prove their point. In the bitcoin community, we all agree that most governments are corrupt and that we should be freed from the huge taxation. As someone who has been discussing different ideas in this forum for quite a while now, I think you and I can agree to this. Generally the community don't like their government and they feel like democracy is dead. The government does what it wants to do without considering how their country men will feel about that decision and that includes the neverending printing of our fiat money.

Our fiat money keeps on inflating and thus it has a much lesser purchasing power than before. I think only bitcoin can save us from that.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: October 12, 2017, 05:36:38 PM
It is definitely a good time to buy bitcoin today because the market is increasing. Buy some bitcoins, leverage it, and with just $10 movements in the market, cash out. That will be a good amount of money considering that you only spent a couple of minutes/hours doing it. The price of bitcoin is increasing right now and you can take advantage of that by doing a short trade. Unfortunately, if you buy now and you are looking for a long term investment in bitcoin, I think you shouldn't do it yet as well as in altcoins. You don't know which coins are going to die because of this rise in bitcoins price but I do see a lot of altcoins going down so hard.

For a long term investment, you should just hold your money. Buying while bitcoin is at its peak price can be a mistake. Just think about the people that bought bitcoins for $1200 in 2013 and the price went downhill to $200 in 2015. They had to wait for 4 years just to get back on track and that's not the kind of commitment you are willing to make, then don't buy just yet. Let the water become a little less raging before you invest.
497  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: October 12, 2017, 05:28:51 PM
We often earn money from youtube channel by showing ads from adsense and suppose if someone want to earn bitcoin by showing ads on their youtube videos then is there any alternative ad network which provide ads for youtube channel?

Yes, You can.
You just have to cash out all of your ad sense earning directly to an exchange so, you can convert in Bitcoins, And I don't think that YouTube or google will add Bitcoins as payment option if it happens, Bitcoin will rock the world.
In my opinion it is not possible because from YouTube as I know only sharing videos can make you some money and that is also very low. All depends open the viewers. The more viewers on your channel the more money you will earn. But for that you will have to wait for a long time. I think bitcoin forum or investment in bitcoin is the easiest and reliable ways to make money bitcoin. All other sources are not so easy and reliable.

There are lot of video bounties for the ICOs available here in this forum . If you have good number of audience you can make good amount, by making videos for ICO . And you will also get the google adsense .so making bitcoin with youtube is very much possible.
I think it is not so easy because form bitcoin if someone has his own channel and want to earn money he will have to upload videos and he must have to increase the viewers of his channel then he will be able to make some money, but that will take too much time. You can convert your earnings in bitcoin but I think that YouTube is not a good source of making bitcoin. Signature campaign is far better than YouTube.

Signature campaign pays very little compared to how much money you're going to make if you achieve Youtube fame. The problem to some people and the reason why they don't get successful is that they are very short sighted when it comes to achieving goals. Okay, signature campaigns give you weekly earnings. But are you going to do that forever? Is signature campaign feature will always be available in this forum? Or is this campaign will exist forever? I think that like anything else, this forum is doomed to be forgotten at some point.

You refuse to do Youtube because it takes a lot of time, money, and effort. Well, guess what? Pewdiepie didn't achieve his Youtube fame and his daily millions of views with that mentality. He knew that Youtube is a great platform and even if there's a lot of competition, he can do it by just being persistent with the goal. I think you can do that too. I think that you have the intellect to do that. Unfortunately it's obvious that you don't have the willpower to do so.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 12, 2017, 05:20:07 PM
If managed properly and correctly then I'm sure bitcoin can reduce or eliminate poverty, it's time the country think more realistic because the regular money system is not able to overcome poverty.

It's not the current monetary system that is the problem, it's the fact hat money is not given out for free. People stay uneducated and then wonder why they aren't rich yet. Poverty can never be solved because even with bitcoin, assuming that it has become mainstream, there will always be lazy and dumb people. Why? Because it's a lot easier to become a couch potato and binge-watch movies instead of keep on reading every single day in order to learn things. There's actually a lot of opportunities out there that we don't really take advantage of. Admit it, someone has offered you something but it just seemed too hard for you so you denied the request.

I think it's time for people to think that the society is not wrong at all. It's you, the individual itself, who has a problem. As human beings, we have to deal with out problems and if you are poor, it's your fault if you stay becoming poor. There are things you can do like become a helper or a worker for some company. Of course it will pay really low and you will get really really tired, but that's the amount of effort it takes to get out of poverty and you are going to do it if you really want to save your family from poverty. All this is regardless if bitcoin exists or not.
499  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: October 12, 2017, 05:00:35 PM
There are simply three ways to get your hands on bitcoin. One is that you have to do a physical work, exert your energy on something to be paid with paper money then you buy bitcoin and hold.
Two, you either have a skill, you write on this forum maybe in blogs or you join a campaign team. You will be paid in bitcoin, which you could either hold , trade or reinvest.

The third is, you either borrow from to buy bitcoin . You hold, invest etc.
Meanwhile, getting one bitcoin in a month is a difficult task depending on how much bitcoin you risky especially in gambling or trading but only signature campaign is not realistic .

I think that you should just select from these three and then focus on that. For example, you can focus on learning how to write articles. It takes some time and even more time if you are not a fluent English speaker. Once you think you have grown from that and you think that you are ready to start doing new things, then go learn something new. After earning money from articles, you can try trading. It will be a repeating process of studying, learning, practicing, and mastering, until you start actually earning from it, and then move on to a new thing which preferably pays better or consumes less time and effort. We have to be realistic here. One source of income from the Internet will not take you anywhere at all. And I think that's one of the major advantages of working online, you can work for several people at the same time and have multiple sources of income without having to invest that much money, only time, skill, and effort.

That means you can go from broke to rich by just having the right skills, right clients, and actually doing the job you are hired to do.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: October 12, 2017, 04:50:03 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
Unemployment is a problem prevailing today in all parts of the world even in developed countries. Some of the unemployed people are even homeless. They don't even have door number and street address which are required to open a bank account. Here comes the Bitcoin, just like the magical wand in the hands of harry potter,it comes to the rescue of such homeless and jobless people. They could just download a wallet in their laptops and even use freely available wifi internet in some parks or malls to access bitcoin transactions. As soon as they earn bitcoins either by participating in signature campaigns or through faucets, once they receive bitcoin in their wallet, they could just convert it into cash and foods and products in plenty of ways, every thing without identification.

How can you expect a homeless person owning a laptop? If he did have one, then he already sold it because he has to it. He needs shelter. These people are forgotten by their families and so no one is taking care of them. Just how low have you become to be homeless? That means your family don't want to take care of you, that means you are not qualified for any job, and that means that you have no money to start over again. Bitcoin has opened up opportunities to the people but there is still a certain requirement such as being a computer literate and knowing things about cryptocurrencies. Before you get any job here, regardless of what it is, you have to understand how bitcoin works first because how can you get paid if you don't even know how to make a bitcoin wallet.

The world has become an information age and the more you know, the more qualified you are to do something. A person would not be unemployed, unless if he chose to, if he is knowledgeable about something. If you stay the person that you are today and you don't do things to make you qualified for an actual job, you will end up being in a position that you don't want to be in and do things you don't want to do.
