Has everyone been paid yet? Those people that are in the first weeks and didn't get paid, have you got your payments? I'm posting so I can remove the red asterisk on this campaign's name if so.

643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: July 20, 2017, 05:16:38 PM
There are certain aspects where cash is better than bitcoin like cash can be used offline, and you can transact instantly. But these features would never beat bitcoin's features. First of all, bitcoin is something that is not subjected to inflation. Cash, you don't have the assurance that tomorrow it has the same purchasing power as yesterday. Although it's really unlikely that your country will have a hyperinflation with your currency, your currency is constantly inflating anyway.

Bitcoin was designed to deflate (read bitcoin's supply decreases over time) and so the price continues to go up in the long run. Bitcoin also do not depend on the economy of a certain country. We can have wars and whatnot but bitcoin wouldn't be so affected unlike the fiat currency of the countries involved.
644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: July 20, 2017, 04:28:17 PM
Yes trading is an unpredictable job.Its highly risky. But the risks could be minimized by following certain steps. You would have to analyze crypto market and [1]find the most under valued coin so that your profits could be maximised.Start trading with a small amount.Follow the rule"Donot put all eggs in the same basket"and [2]diversify your investment by investing in two or three coins.

[1] The most undervalued coins are shit coins which are at 1 satoshis each. I don't think that you can maximize your earnings by buying those because they are never going to be revived in the market. Coins come and go. If the coin dies, it doesn't get noticed by others at all because there's already a new coin in the market being hyped.

[2] Honestly, that's not "diversifying" at all because when bitcoin is down, all the other coins are down as well. It was just recently when that has happened. All the coins went down and even if you invested in 10 coins, you could not have saved yourself from the dump. Diversifying is more like investing on two things that are completely different from each other.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 04:11:08 PM
Of course they have the right to express their own opinions but there are people who are talking below the belt and sometimes you just have to bear the pain because sometimes they're just laughing at you and sometimes they are doing sarcastic talks and that's why I'm being silent these days because someday these are gonna be worth it or " hardworking in silence" so they say.

There are times when I'm really irritated that I want to cash out all my btc and slap them a pile of fiat in the face. It's okie to have their opinion but talking behind your back and below the belt is really getting into my nerves. I need to learn how to control my emotion now because that would be bad when you are easily irritated and you have a lot of cash. Balance emotion cash and social relationships.

I would say that one of the "flaws" of a regular guy is that we always feel that we have to always deal with negativity. They talk behind your back, there's a reason why they are behind you. Remember that. They are behind you not only physically or figuratively but they are behind you in life. You have bitcoins, that's all that matters. Their opinions and how you fight your battle against them isn't relevant. I think that you're just going to stress yourself if you start facing these people. Just continue being low-key about the things that you do (that's how it should be anyways) and let the bitcoin haters hate.

It's possible that they are actually jealous of you for living ahead of them and having an advanced way of earning money. People hate themselves so they cope with it by throwing hate to other people too. Nonetheless, it shouldn't matter.
646  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: July 20, 2017, 02:56:08 PM
One of the major problems with such sites is that to earn free btc it will take away all your time and you get hardly any btc instead of spending that time on such sites, I will prefer to invest in learning or developing some skills so that it can be used elsewhere and get better returns than on such sites.  Instead you can earn though signature campaigns, do freelancing work and get paid in btc or you can invest in altcoins and get good returns if you select the right coin for future.

One problem of people is their desire for instant things. They want to earn money? They want to earn it now. So even when the earnings is really low, they are going to go for it just because it pays right away. Smart workers will not do the same thing. They will study and learn for themselves so they would have something to offer to the people and to the community, and ultimately get paid for it.

Just freelancing work alone requires a lot of time. You have to learn a skill and be good at it. You don't have to be just only competent, but you have to be one of the best out there. A lot of people are already competent and being simply competent isn't enough anymore.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 20, 2017, 02:39:16 PM
Right, even if bitcoin is very popular today it is still too early to say that it will replace dollar soon. Bitcoin maybe is of great use but still its usage is limited and that it can not be used as payment for regular daily expenses.

I would never come to understanding why there are people that think bitcoin is hard to use in their daily lives just because they can't use it to pay directly. It is believed to be one of the biggest issues of bitcoin but I believe it's not. You simply have to convert your bitcoin first into fiat before you can use it. It's not that hard since the money will go directly to your bank account when you cash out your bitcoins.

There are also online wallets that have partnerships with large companies. They implement their system so bitcoin users can pay their bills online with a receipt that you actually paid. So it's not so bad after all. You can still use it as payment but not for all merchants.
648  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 01:41:42 PM
definitly games. But another questions is how do we teach childern digitialization in general ? The attempt right now in my country is to give every child a tablet in school, but parents are against it ! How damn retarded are they that they dont allow their children to use a tablet/pc in school, but let them play stupid games at home ?

Funny because the "stupid" games that you are referring to are actually needed by a child. They need to be physically active so their mind and body would develop well. Someone who's immobilized right from childhood will be morbidly obese. It's just a matter of time. They are letting their kids play "stupid games" (maybe sports) because it's what people are used to make kids do.

Tablet and PC are great. But little kids don't really need them. I have a niece that's really into gadgets and at a very young age, she's starting to gain weight. You will always see her watching TV and using her very own cellphone, do you think that's a good idea? The parents that you are talking about are probably just trying to avoid this to happen to their children.
649  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: July 20, 2017, 01:31:21 PM
I hope the government will create a bitcoin bank, and there would be insurances that if our Bitcoin Grin is lost in their hands, they will still give us back our Bitcoin.  Grin

I certainly doubt that will happen. The scenario that we currently have with the banks is that if your money gets lost because of them, then they are refunding your money. In some countries, when someone hacked you or when you get scammed by someone or just some "theft" stuff has happened, they are refunding your money as well. But the only reason why they do that is because they have unlimited supply of paper money. Yup, unlimited, they are just printing out all the needed paper money and then that's it. Remember, paper money is nothing but paper that people believe it has value.

Bitcoin, on the other hand, once lost is lost. Let's say that the government's very own bitcoin bank gets hacked, they can't do their magic of making more money. Bitcoin is different. They can't just mine instantly these coins and refund their people.
650  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 20, 2017, 01:18:57 PM
First step to make money is investing in yourself, learn, after that money will follow one way or another
Today there are so many ways to increase the amount of money we have, even more so in investing. Well, so many projects can make you make money, but you also have to accept the risk if ico it fails. But, choose a project that has reached the minimum target. That way, the risks you face so little.

I'm certain that in case ICOs don't reach their minimum target, then they are burning their coins and they are refunding the money to the investors. This rarely happens specially on ICOs here on bitcointalk. Very little of them do not reach the minimum target but very few as well have reached their maximum target.

I think the reason why people wait for an ICO to reach the minimum target is so that they aren't going to have to wait for a coin that they aren't certain they aren't getting (if that makes sense lol). Imagine if you invested in a coin and ended up just burning the coin and refunding you, then you just wasted your time.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: July 20, 2017, 01:07:08 PM
I don't think there is a sense to the youtube video in the first place. If the United States of America has the power to print their own dollars why will they use it to pay their debts in the first place? Isn't is sarcastic as if they can they won't be having debts by now? The answer to that logic is of course the economy involve with it. When the U.S. overprints their currency the U.S. Dollar will surely depreciate in value because there is too much supply of their own currency. The country has the burden on controlling the value of their currency and at the same time figure out how many will they print back.
If U.S prints a lot of USD. Then the price of bitcoin will goes down as you mentioned the logic the simple logic is that where always in economics where the money is print more than the price money goes down. USD is fit on the place where it is. If they print a lot of USD then they will lose their place in the world where it is.

The price of bitcoin will surely not go down as the value of dollar goes down. Let's assume the worst case scenario which is USD going hyper inflated. Bitcoin might even go up because Americans know of bitcoin and just a little bit of research and they will find out that it's good store of value. Bitcoin isn't dependent on USD, let alone the whole fiat system. Bitcoin can stand alone and even all of these fiat money gets hyper inflated (AKA dies), bitcoin will continue to live.

I wonder if 777coins and Bitvest were active. Because there are many enrollments , but they aren't be accepted or denied

Most of the time they are all denied and there's only few accepted on every batch of enrollment. They have been running for years now and they surely are active.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2017, 02:56:37 PM
Sell em some SCAM altcoins.

I don't think that is a good idea. It will just proved to them that bitcoin or crypto in general is all scam and they will stay away from the market for good. I guess for us enthusiast, we need a lot of patience on explaining to others what bitcoin is and the advantage of it over fiat or how it will shape up the future. We can even set Japan as an example, a global economic super power, who has embraced and adopted bitcoin and legalized it.

I honestly think it's a good idea because it will weed out those people that don't know how to listen to others. These people that hates bitcoin don't fully understand what bitcoin is so they think it's a scam. Oh boy, if you're the kind of person that won't even try and do basic research with Google, then you're better be not here. You are just going to be spoon fed and you're just giving the moderators a job to ban you.

Simply searching "Is bitcoin a scam?" will negate all your negative feelings towards bitcoin. One thing that I learned about the world (by living in it lol) is that there are people that refuse to hear new things and they embrace thing that makes them hate something more. They only accept the things that they want to hear so when they heard someone say "I heard that bitcoin is a scam." they will rush into joining that conversation and throw their hate altogether.
654  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: July 18, 2017, 02:39:16 PM
It's easy to say that "why not just print money/dollars?"

I don't understand economics before but when I was able to learn about this type of things. I realized that this will make a country into becoming poorer.

Just like in bitcoin, the lesser supply the higher value.

Not necessarily "poorer", the currency simply will have lesser value. The ones that will be really affected are the people that live in that country. Without knowing at all, the prices of the goods and services go up because their fiat's purchasing power has went down, and in most places, it's constantly going down.

It seems to me that today's price for Bitcoin is one of those opportunities that we can use to buy them more. The caustic price for Bitcoin will go up soon and what we can buy today will give us a very good return. I do not think he has dollars at all and even how to print them. This is generally a criminal case and I would not even have contacted it, so the topic is a bit troubling.

There might be some news in your country about people printing out fake money by themselves but this topic is not about that. This topic is about the government printing more and more fiat currency (dollars) in order to solve financial problems of the country that they govern. And the answer is that the purchasing power of their currency will go down and it will go down even more as they print more.
655  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: July 18, 2017, 02:22:54 PM
Its possible to get rich with Bitcoin In the sense that it's price would triple or 4x up in coming years. It's better to save btc to these days as a term of investment and gain profit to it.
In fact, many people want to become rich. However, some people are unlucky to become rich. In addition to that, I think it’s possible to get rich by using bitcoin and as of now many people use the bitcoin and they gain a lot of income. If you have a lot of bitcoin now I think you could be a millionaire or billionaire in the future. Lastly, using bitcoin is one of the key to become rich.
Being far sighted is an important skill a person should while venturing money in a long time investment. The people who had invested 8 years ago in bitcoin for a few dollars are millionaires now keeping in view the value of a single bitcoin. Therefore investing in bitcoin is always a safe option. It is guaranteed to make your future. So, keep invest with any fear. Bitcoin is a right place. And bright future for for upcoming life. So Invest and get a lot of happiness in near future.

This is basically what you have said:
"Bitcoin is a good investment in the past, therefore, it's a good investment."

Along with long term thinking, we should also learn how to diversify and how to get out of the market once things are going bad. Maybe it's not yet the time for bitcoin but sooner or later, bitcoin will go down. It might be in the far future but the fall of something is inevitable. Something better will always come along the way. We might not be able to imagine it by now, maybe because we still don't have the technology for it, but it will surely happen.

Learn how to get out of an investment that's starting to go bad and diversify so you have a plan B. For example, you can be doing bitcoins today but you can start diversifying your money by investing on a business in real life. It's really hard to find out which businesses are profitable so you have to start talking to people that knows these things. You can't just go straight to the owner of a store/business and ask them straight ahead how much they are making. You have to do research without them knowing that there's a potential competition coming up.
656  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: July 18, 2017, 02:12:11 PM
This is something difficult especially that bitcoin seems to always have drama. Early this year we have the bitcoin unlimited and now we are facing another possible split. Bitcoin slow transaction speed and high fees are worrying.

You can as well claim that life is difficult because life has constant drama in it. Just like in life, drama doesn't really affect you that much. Jihan Wu has tweeted again, did not reading it affect you? Did not knowing about Vitalik's opinion affect you? I believe not. I stopped reading about the drama in bitcoin when I realized that it's nothing but drama. There's nothing especial about it. If you start reading about drama, you will just be depressed and anxious about what might happen.

In reality, these things don't affect you at all. If the price went down and it's because of a popular Bitcoin user, does it matter? You couldn't have prevented that from happening. The price will always fluctuate as it may.

tl;dr: Drama will never affect you. The price will go up and down and that's all normal.
657  Economy / Services / Re: RasputinOnline Signature Campaign (Full) on: July 18, 2017, 08:15:41 AM

Hi! I just listed your campaign in the overview of signature campaign thread. I just have one question. Do you hold funds for this campaign or is the company themselves going to be the one to send out payments? Thanks Cheesy

I put "No" in escrow status in the mean time. Smiley
658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 10-Jul-2017] on: July 18, 2017, 08:04:36 AM
Thanks, my primary concern was people that use a phone or tablet to browse. People that are using a phone will do a landscape mode to view the table but can they see it without having to scroll left/right is the question.

Using the developer tools on Chrome I checked with various devices and found that the smallest one listed (iPhone 5) was still able to view the entirety of the chart.

~snip img~

Looks good to me, thanks for the info. I'll check it via developer tools next time. Cheesy

Damnit! Math in public is not my strong suit! Thanks for the correction. New format looks perfect to me, the only thing that is cut off now is under the escrow column when there is a 'Y/N' the N gets cut off.

Try to do portrait view and then zoom it out just like actmyname's screenshot.
659  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 17-Jul-2017] on: July 17, 2017, 02:41:37 PM
To small screen users: Please leave a comment of your view on the table. Does it fit to your screen? WorkingForBitcoins seems a long name and it might have affected some of you. I will shorten it if it did.

Im on an iPad and it doesn't all display, but I can scroll left/right without too much difficulty. Cuts off right at the 'Max' column for me in landscape mode.

And just a related question so I'm understanding this right, if a Junior member were to join 777coin and they make 80 posts in a week then that would payout .048 BTC, correct?

It's 0.0048 BTC not 0.048BTC. You're missing a zero. Smiley Thanks for the comment by the way, I'll edit the WorkingForBitcoins tomorrow to WorkingFor BTC

Edit: Actually I'll do it now. Please leave a comment about it again.

To small screen users: Please leave a comment of your view on the table. Does it fit to your screen? WorkingForBitcoins seems a long name and it might have affected some of you. I will shorten it if it did.

On laptop everything looks correct. My screen resolution for sure is not the highest, so most users should be able to see it without problems.

660  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: July 17, 2017, 02:38:50 PM
i dont think cryptocurrencies are better because they can not work offline and transactions are not very quick like they are in conventional money. moreover, transactions charge high feesBTC which makes their use impossible for small transactions.

The Internet connection doesn't matter that much anymore because Internet is available almost everywhere. This is certainly true especially when you live in a first world country or at least you live in a city in a third world country. For the high transaction fee and long transaction time, well that's just the case for bitcoins. This topic is for the whole cryptocurrency so you should start using altcoins.

There have been campaigns in the past that have changed from paying with bitcoin to paying with ETH because of the high tx fee. I suggest you start doing that. It's obvious that you weren't aware of that.
