481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use your winning responsibly on: January 09, 2024, 11:39:38 AM
Do you know why people still say trash about gambling, probably after winning they don't have any plan with their money and they just don't want to buy something valuable after winning so from year to year they can't brag with any property they achieved from their winning money that's why they keep saying trash about gambling, this act is very rare mostly in my area. Sometimes people should also see the good side of gambling and afterward let's not joke with the money rather let's use that money to buy something nice just like what the op did but greed will not allow some addict to do same.
Greed arises after winning the first time and thinking, I could win more if I gamble more. In the end, gambling is a trap for those who want more, a trap for people who are not using smart of their winnings, it goes back to the casino where it comes.

I've heard a story about our country that won the jackpot prize, it is a huge money but after a few months, all of it was gone including his assets and it is because of a wrong spending habit. And this will certainly happen to all the winners if mismanaged, it will turn to dust too quickly. Easy money, easy to lose as well.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many individual holders of Bitcoin are there? on: January 08, 2024, 10:30:13 PM
It doesn't matter to know the exact number of holders, the most important is that the number of investors/holders is quite growing fast. It means that there is a huge market appreciation happening already and people see the benefits from Bitcoin. In the next couple of years from now, it possibly tripled (or more) its numbers.

We're not sure someday we'll get accurate data or that is still impossible because a single person can create multiple wallet addresses. Perhaps, they are anonymous, we never owe them to let us know.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: January 08, 2024, 09:53:35 PM
Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ?  If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?
I can go off gambling even if I don't win and any time. Those who can't make it are those gamblers who are already addicted but if you are a responsible gambler, there is no such thing as "retirement", we can stop whenever we want.

We have to note that gambling is not a job that we have to stay long. If we just wait to hit the jackpot prize before leaving gambling, we possibly spend our whole life in gambling and I can't really imagine doing that --maybe you?
484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New Trends Among Beginner Traders on: January 08, 2024, 12:03:39 PM
Beginners traders always have the mindset of winning everytime even without having a good skill that could create wealth for them.
I could remember when u started trading, I do have the mindset that I would become rich soon but I was surprised that trading is never a Ponzi scheme. That is when I realized that I would have to work harder and study the market before I keep making consistent profits from the market imitating the lifestyle and method of pro traders.
Beginners who think like that should still be considered normal because they basically still don't have enough knowledge to understand the market and trading more specifically. However, over time, this mindset will definitely disappear with the formation of a better mindset after undergoing several trades like you have done in the past. I would not be surprised to see beginners who immediately think they will win every time through trading, because they just need to ask questions and understand what they have done gradually.
Perhaps, it was normal because that is what they heard from social media influencers and think that they could make a profit too easily. That is how they brainwash beginners and a pretty working strategy. In fact, that is what I thought before until I experienced how difficult to become a trader in real life.
As we have been brag by some people showing huge income from trading (which was not their money), the more we become aggressive to trade and even the lack of knowledge, we still push ourselves to do it.

Somehow we realized that not all we see on social media are true, most of them are fake. That is why we have to help ourselves not to fall into greed or else, we are like those people who suffer losses first before knowing the truth.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: January 08, 2024, 11:27:14 AM

Take note and be aware that your way of gambling could affect your relationships and the circle of your relatives.
Once we fall into addiction, that eventually ruins our reputation and relationship with others. The common reason is unsettled debts. This very shameful act by most gamblers who have not thought anymore to recall their promises.

Addiction has a huge impact on mental and physical which is why notice sudden changes in their behavior and the way they talk, and usually have a high temper. Because a gambler who have fallen into addiction can no longer determine who they are as in their mind is to gamble.
486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow the technique if you have zero trading knowledge in crypto on: January 07, 2024, 11:18:27 AM
It is also one of the rules of trading that trade by understanding the market conditions. Even if the conditions are bad, if one trades, he must lose everything.  It is better to keep your mind away from trades and train when the situation is good. Also, excessive greed can never bring good things, so one should be satisfied with little without trading repeatedly in the hope of huge profits. And one should understand the market situation, when to buy.  And when to sell.  And nothing changes overnight.  So first you need to know why the price is rising suddenly then you need to know if it is really true and only then you need to trade.
To avoid losing a lot, one must have to go deeper and understand the market behavior.
Upon trying to trade with ZERO knowledge we are just like going to gamble and hoping for luck, not a chance. With the unpredictable trend of the market, one simply it needs to have deep knowledge and it is highly required in trading, or else, better not to pursue it because it only leads to sad ends.

Knowing to buy and knowing to sell is not enough for me. TA and other trading tools are somewhat important because this is the way it help to improve our profitable chances.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will be your trading strategy for crypto in 2024? on: January 05, 2024, 09:28:35 PM
A lot of people have been asking me this question, so I thought I'd ask you guys the same. My plan is to diversify across promising projects, optimize with rebalancing, and keep a level head throughout the ride.
We still have time, take this chance to fully prepare before the bullish finally started to buy accumulating and only hold potential coins, not shitcoins. It is not the number of coins we have held but the quantity and quality they have because this is the ticket to a successful investment. Diversifying not growing coins to more valuable ones like in BTC, ETH, and BNB would be the right decision.

In fact, I already did this before the end of 2023 while the price of these coins I've mentioned are still cheap and I keep doing this before the bull season comes.
488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some tips to help protect yourself from crypto scam on: January 05, 2024, 02:42:04 PM
If you are knowledgeable, you will have more chances not to be scammed in the future. And you will also be aware  of the latest trends on scamming people which I think will greatly help not to fall as victims to their hands. However, no matter how we seem to be brighter and smarter, we should also not underestimate the potentials of scammers as they can always be wiser than us. But that will only happen if we are weak enough to fall on their traps.
The only way to avoid these scammers is not to communicate with strangers especially on social media platforms. Because these scammers will target our weakness and they are known to have such skills. With the use of their communication skills, many will surely fall into their traps.
That is why we have to analyze the situation first before making a decision and keeping in mind that scammers are around us, they will do their best as well to have a victim. Trust no one aside from yourself. We can't fall into scams if we keep ourselves aware of the situation and consider everyone as a scammer.
489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I succeed as a trader in 2024 on: January 05, 2024, 01:57:39 PM
First of all you have to be strong minded.  The mind should always be strong.  Must have adequate understanding of crypto and buying and holding.  Coins should be bought when the price falls and sold when the price rises.  Understand the market situation.  If the market is bad, stay away from the market. Greed should be controlled.  Excessive greed can sink with everything. Withdraw money only if there is a small profit. You can not lose everything in the hope of more profit. There is a bull run ahead. Hopefully something good will happen. And you invest your money in such a way that you can go without money.
Preparation - that is all that we need in order to succeed. And I hope that OP is also patient enough because success doesn't come instantly.
Indeed, trading is profitable when the market price is moving or during the bull season and this year seems to be a good day to start building a trading career. Having adequate knowledge and huge capital, not too far from gaining success especially when he is focused on his goal.
 - with the right timing and a positive mindset certainly, it all went so well. But just as I said, OP must not on a hurry to earn such recognization as it comes with time and hard work.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the high fee affecting the rate of adoption of Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2024, 12:37:38 PM
Every time I withdraw my income in crypto, it always pops up and gives a warning about the fees I use  --50% higher, 40% higher. Frustrating is really what we feel but should we have another option if layer 2 is not supported on our receiving wallet? We don't aside from waiting for it when it drops a little, at least we save some.

Good thing that congestion these days isn't as bad as in the past days, we can transfer our funds at $3-4, which seems acceptable for now. But still, the majority, especially for small investors want to get back to normal where can just spend less than $1 on its top priority.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: January 05, 2024, 12:04:30 PM
The rich win more than the poo and the poor lose more than the rich.
This is because the poor always accumulate so many games in other to have more potential wins we all know the higher the odds, the higher the wins and the higher the bonus so that is what the poor pursue. They want to win a million dollars out of a one-dollar bet.
But the rich don't want that. The rich want to win ten thousand dollars on a thousand-dollar bet. So they go with lower odds

Let us put into this situation...
There is a rich person who gambles $10,000 while there is a poor person who just gambles $1,000. Let us assume if they all had lost their bets, who do you think had lost a lot? It is the rich person, right?

Rich people can gamble more without worrying whether they lose or not but poor people can't, they are pursuing to win and chasing their losses. That is why these poor people are usually seen gambling because they can't afford to lose, yet they are just spending a small amount which is still small compared to rich people who gamble once a week with the amount of $10,000. How much more if they are gambling every day?
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: January 05, 2024, 07:43:41 AM
I'm sure that in gambling not everyone is as lucky as you. Here everyone has their own luck. but from the website you play on it looks quite foreign. trying a few tens of dollars to play there trying your luck is a good thing. So far, I'm quite bored playing on sites that have been around for a long time. They are fair enough to give winnings but new casino websites usually offer attractive jackpots. I am interested in trying a new website casino.
Then I would say that you should be careful on those sites that offer such a thing because most of them are totally scams, you will just find it out later when already trust them. Of course, they will offer attractive wins to catch the attention of the gamblers while established casinos no longer look for new gamblers instead, they will protect their old gamblers and remain using their platform.

For me, it doesn't matter if the reward is not huge at least, I was into the platform that offers a fair game.

493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 05, 2024, 06:52:39 AM
if I join the bounty campaign if after the price distribution is still above ico I immediately sell everything. wait for the coin price to drop to the lowest point and then buy back again if the coin and the volume of coin transactions are good.

Holding most coin from bounty campaign does work for me at all. I have received some alt from bounty which I hold but later turn to dust in my wallet. So, since then I do sell any token receive from bounty instantly. I observed only few token from bounty do well in this space.
Not just most of the time but always, when the distribution of rewards happens, it dumps after because all participants are in a hurry and dumping their tokens as they are aware that the next thing happens the value of their tokens will turn $0. Not just panic selling but they are in the race not to get caught from low value after a couple of days of release.

If we think holding them is the best option, we are only wasting our time for them because these shitcoins can no longer be valuable in the future .
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The is always on gambling, never the individual. on: January 04, 2024, 09:28:21 PM

Why do people blame gamble for their own act of irresponsibility. No one is talking about their own part in their story of bad experience's with gambling, all we get to hear is gambling is bad and a useless activity. Why?
That is very common and human nature, only a few people blame themselves compared to blaming others.
All things that happen to us are the result of our doings and decisions, and if lose our money as we are gambling, it is because we do it in the wrong way. In fact, nobody urges us to gamble but it is our willingness and desire that pushes us to spend money. Whether we lose or not, it is our decision, nobody is involved.

Blaming always happens when we lose but if we win, never even say thank you. Grin
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: January 04, 2024, 08:53:29 PM
We'd rather not gamble if we think about how much we lose as I believe we are not desperate enough but rather think of a way to win.

Gambling responsibly is very important not just to avoid big losses but also, we are controlling ourselves from being greedy. Many gamblers think that if we gamble more, we are increasing our chance of winning. Well, that can be true but not all the time because this will also increase our chance of losing. That is why we should stick to our plan and the said limitations.
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the Art of Crypto Trading with These 5 Simple Tips on: January 04, 2024, 01:10:53 PM
 - Have a reason and main goal. Reaching the finish line is not impossible.
These are probably the reasons why most traders fail --doubtful, lack of self-confidence, and knowledge.

That is why we have to ask ourselves what we want to achieve. Because our actions will also lie on what we want to reach. Now, if we don't have a clear target or goal, we certainly go in the wrong direction and fail.

However, it was not just knowing the simple tips but also, it is how we work on our goal. Many are aiming to become successful in trading but guess what, they are impatient and lazy to learn new things.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on underdog by choosing a favorite spread to increase the odds. on: January 04, 2024, 12:22:36 PM
Do the odds really matter in betting? I may not and I don't weigh that much as a bettor, I'd choose the team that likely wins the game, it doesn't matter to me if the odds are high or low as I still vouch for the team I like the most. Or maybe I'm wrong but this is what I did for my best otherwise, I have to experiment with another strategy.

But yeah, doesn't all the time we win, losses still happen. However, I don't think it was regrettable in the sense that I enjoy watching the game and betting at the same time on my favorite team.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rollercoaster of emotions. How to deal with? on: January 04, 2024, 07:52:12 AM

Would love to hear how you all manage this balance. I already have some amount invested, but way less than I'd like to have, but I have that fear of being put on risk more than I should.
Tried to keep calm and never check your portfolio every day. I will tell you OP that emotions can be triggered if you keep checking your investment, it will bother you too much and make you think negatively instead, of focusing on holding. The market is naturally will pump and pump, don't get too attached within and stop being too emotional because that will lead to making wrong decisions and panic selling. That is why investing in crypto needs patience, courage, and of course, trust. If we are investing in usable projects then we have nothing to worry about, might it dump today but certainly be rising back again.
499  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrencies without investment? on: January 03, 2024, 09:57:22 PM
I'm just a newbie and I don't have other opportunities to make money irl because of my place of living and age. I tried already bounties and airdrops, but I'm not lucky in it. Thanks for your advices!!!
Well, forget about earning money from airdrops, they couldn't help you.

I'm gonna tell you OP that investment needs money, there is no free for now. To pursue your dreams, what you gonna do is to find a job and use your salary to invest. As you can see, rich people become richer because they have money already to make more investments, that is the advantage but if you just think the airdrops will give you that chance, it is very impossible.

Sometimes we blame ourselves as we were born poor but if we work hard, we can still improve our living. There are a lot of jobs online, in fact, a lot of people are doing this, and you can try them.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How possible is it to win lottery 14 times using mathematics calculations on: January 03, 2024, 09:33:55 PM
Honestly, I couldn't believe it --nothing happens in real life and I believe that there are no mathematical calculations that support it other than luck. In order to increase your winning chance in the lottery, you will also buy more tickets but if we think it is because of the said calculation, that is somewhat unbelievable.

In fact, so many people got into the lottery and even spent thousands every day but still got unlucky. Some people will say that their manipulation lottery especially when managed by the government.
