Moreover, he says that this miner should be able to work at 3.5-4 Th. And he promise to give to the world a review, but no one knows when he'll keep his promise...
Looks like a Dragon variant. But I have never heard of it.

Go for it. But then you would be the Btc gangster. It's all how you spend your spoils.

Did this close early or is my time calculation off?

Thanks Philipma1957.
My next question I guess is hard to answer since these aren't in the wild yet but what RaspPi image will work best with these?
I used RASPBIAN (Debian Wheezy) and then compiled cgminer with --enable-blockerupter. The default speed is --bet-clk 23 (which will run the prisma at 240 Mhz). On a tube, you need to set it to --bet-clk 26. I will be putting out a packaged version of cgminer 4.7.0 for Rasbian as soon as we can get the bugs in the build system ironed out. I do not know if I will be able to back port to wheezy or if they will only be early builds for Jessie. I have a working package for Jessie now on Rasbian but want the official numbering fixes done before I let it into the wild. Just a heads up on the rpi with these. The rpi had to be rebooted about every 6 hours as the hashrate falls. Ended up moving all the miners to a PC and they have been running for days now without a reboot. Have had similar issues with other miners on the pi.

I don't have time to read all of this. But this thread is hilarious. It's like a school yard argument except there are lawyers involved. And this is how you all have chosen to spend your time. You folks have zero perspective.

My Prisma's from Canary arrive at my hosting location today.

Does anybody "play the lottery" still with 1 or 2 GPUs? I keep one going just for the lols.
Really? Hope you got lucky and hit a block.. Power is cheap enough that I don't care and who knows, right? I still keep a measly 180 cards just for the heck of it,... Seriously? I would love to see a picture of that.

So....it's a Prisma. Which is 1.47 btc I believe from Canary or Friedcat.

Is it $75 per kWh plus the common unit cost? Or are those just examples of what individual miners cost?
Exactly like mstrongbow said, that's per unit per month. So the Antminer S3 uses roughly 360w of power to operate. So 360w = 0.36 KW and 0.36 KW * $75/KW/month = $27/month for hosting Edit: Your units are incorrect. You're talking in KWh, I'm saying per KW. Big difference. Our rates turn out to be about $0.10/KWh My bad on the units. You guys are pretty low. I'll have to do the math on moving them and your set up fees.

I got my hands on some Habaneros and I'm looking for some answers that I couldn't find in the thread(s) on here, the website or duckduckgo-ing: Am I correct that hfa-temp-overheat does not work for temps over 105? It seems that is the cut off set by the firm-/hardware? I.e. I set it to 110 (as a few posted in this thread) and it still cuts off at 105. I got this error, for which I couldn't find an explanation, occasionally cgminer (4.6.1) also crashes after this: Bad work sequence tail 1153 head 1792 devhead 1792 devtail 1258 sequence 2048 #(sometimes other numbers) HFB 0 failure, disabling! Is there a way to find out which firmware they are flashed with? What is everybody running? JakeTri cgminer or the "stock" cgminer? My impression from the thread is that the USB is somewhat finicky. I have one Zombie, that I think is because of USB troubles. It sort of reminds me of the CM-1s. Apart from the power up sequence (12V to boards first, wait, plug in USB) is there anything else that can be done about it? Also, anyone selling Habaneros in Europe, send me a PM 105 is the thermal shutdown in the firmware. I know HF increased that value to 110C in later firmwares in order to allow the Evos to clock higher, but I didn't feel comfortable with that and left it at the lower value. With that bad work sequence error, are you running multiple pools with load balance or balance in cgminer? I have seen that before in that specific instance, and it has to do with the HF global work queue. Disabling multipool should fix that error. What kind of error do you get on the zombie? MrTeal, is there any chance you could release a purely experimental big red warning firware with the 110 ceiling? I've got a three-die card that isn't staying cool enough and I'd like to raise the ceiling, even if it means burning it up. +1

still resisting the temptation to get one. not sure if i can hold out much longer
Give in Phil. You know you want to. Ha ha I am amazed he has held out this long honestly. Phil you know you can not resist new fresh hardware...can you almost hear that loud fan calling your name? other then spondoolies and bfl I have owned just about all the gear ever made. I am now at 6 s-3s. and a bunch of coins. just waiting a bit maybe oct 15th i will buy one. I am interested in some S3s if you are wanting to sell some/all of them. maybe next month I'll be selling 10 S3's as soon as these Prisma's come in.

Or just buy the Prisma miners?

I would recommend using bfgminer rather than the cgminer download posted on the Zeus Manual page. Got a lot of errors with cgminer. BFGminer has been very smooth.

Does anyone know what username and password could I use for SSH access to S4? The device is freezed but SSH is live. Thx.
Try root/admin. That's for S2, I don't have S4 but maybe it's the same. Same as you need to get into the GUI. They are usually root, root for Bitmain products. Unless you changed the password.

So this is really underclocked tube, nothing new in the unit ?
There are new things in the unit, if others want to believe it or not is another thing. I was generalizing. Could be new design. I don't know enough. But the main driver for efficiency is more chips at lower load. Its not. Enlighten.
