501  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: August 11, 2021, 02:44:55 PM
I watch some clips about it I thought it was just for fun but didn't know that it was really a competition, just come to think of it receiving a direct hit on the face if they get it like most of the time I'm sure there will be in long term there will be a great consequences with that. I really don't think this is some kind of sport at all.
Dude it's the same damage with boxing, I mean look at Ali, Roach and other fighters who suffered from Parkinson's Disease. So what's your point? That it's a direct hit to the face? Boxing and other fighting sport will more likely cause you injury than slapping plus most of the tournaments have mouth guards to protect the player from concussion.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 11, 2021, 02:09:42 PM
It's a bit sad that the Olympics have officially ended but given that a lot of people have been waiting for this to happen, I am happy that it actually happened amidst a pandemic that have devastated lives and crippled economies all over the world. USA was really good at making it climactic, they made sure that they get the highlight at the end in terms of ranking in medals.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 11, 2021, 01:33:20 PM
Anyone is ready to take over, Ugas was the undercard or they called co main event of that suppose to be big event, but since Spence is not available, we have Ugas here who are willing to take the opportunity to fight the legend.
No decision yet as to who's going to take over Spence, I think it's just delayed but not yet cancelled meaning that there's a possibility that this fight is still going to happen even though it sounds like it's unclear yet, hope to see this fight because Pacquiao hasn't been in the ring for awhile now and I want to see him fight again.
504  Economy / Gambling / Re: FEZBET = PURE SCAM !!! on: August 11, 2021, 12:38:41 PM
just now that this site comes to my hearing , and also first time that has been posted here in forum.

so meaning that OP is just desperately looking for support all over the place because of His funds being taken.

this may have serve a learning to experience mate, never play in gambling site that has standing accusations and bad reviews.
And it's an expensive lesson too, could've been prevented if people like OP did some research before doing anything else in regards to gambling with real money because online scams are the worst since you can't really do anything about it if they take away all of your money.
505  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are panic buying right now! on: August 11, 2021, 11:56:19 AM
That's because of the mixture of hype and FOMO, now they want to get in hopefully not the halfway of the market, I just hope that the people that are panic buying right now have the patience to wait for the big profit even if the current pprices are going down. I am tired of hearing stories about buying at high price and panic selling at lower prices.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 11, 2021, 11:14:27 AM
The price of Bitcoin is volatile, it is unstable, and no one can guarantee that its price will rise forever.
Most traders use its volatility to continuously buy and sell Bitcoin to obtain high profits.
There are still many countries that do not support the use of bitcoin. In those countries, bitcoin cannot be used for transactions. They must exchange bitcoin for legal currency when they consume daily.

No one can but people having faith in it's prices going up is enough to not worry that it's not going to go up forever and even if that happens, I don't think that we will be alive at that time when it happens. Those countries that you're talking about, they will eventually fold, remember that they care about public opinion and if their people cares about bitcoin, they will eventually change their allegiance.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: August 11, 2021, 10:38:33 AM
It's probably just a coincidence, I mean there hasn't been any big scams like Bitconnect and OneCoin that happened in the past year so I don't think that there wasn't that much negative movement for the market plus people are more open minded now compared to back then so it's really just makes the movement less volatile since people knows that things happen and everything will eventually bounce back.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: China - everything is fine! But everything is bad ... on: August 11, 2021, 10:07:04 AM
Nope, given how power hungry CCP is, I think that they aren't losing any power anytime soon. I would like to say that their totalitarian approach became more powerful and at the same time subtle, some things that I can think of are the citizenship points, mass surveillance, espionage, persecution of Uyghurs, Falun Gong organ harvests and Uyghur concentration camps.
509  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: August 10, 2021, 04:57:15 PM
OP, the moment we read the subject, we drew an imaginary conclusion of what it could be about.
We thought it was probably about the mental state of a person that is being set by the society that how to categorise themselves as rich or poor. However, we read and found out how the irrelevant resources and lack of knowledge as well as discrimination of caste, creed, sex and religion also play a vital role in the making of riches and poors. The least availability of resources for poors is the reason why they are being fed about their poverty since their childhood by making them realise about it and it also applies to riches, but in an opposite manner.
In short, the mentality is made because a small group of people wants to control other people so they can make a lot of money and freely reign over those people. The things that you mentioned all in essence is used to control people and the only way to break through this control is if we destroy who is at the top.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 10, 2021, 04:23:23 PM
No need to speculate, I believe bitcoin will reach 100k$. But not this year it is possible but very difficult ,what you need to do is buy bitcoin when you can and hold them for as long as possible. Be patient and don't panic when the bitcoin price fluctuates in the short term.
Well, there's still a lot of months left for this to happen and we know that bitcoin can spurt in the last minute, remember that the pump from last year wasn't happening until December. For me, I think it's a good time to buy even if the price is 100k USD because bitcoin market only goes up and if you hodl long enough, your investment will eventually return.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Central bank digital currency will improve the use cases and value of Bitcoin on: August 10, 2021, 03:48:36 PM
But isn't the current use case of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are already there? I mean how can we further improve or create a new use case for bitcoin because as it is right now, it seems to be that there's already enough use cases. Also, CBDC is an antithesis of bitcoin so I don't think it's going to bolster bitcoin in any way.
512  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 03:11:59 PM
Yes they can follow and they should follow because nothing good will come out if they don't do anything about it. I mean you're country is missing out of the money that crypto has in terms of taxation. Although I can see why they don't want to do that, not enough studies yet to prove the benefits of making bitcoin a legal tender besides watching what's going to happen to El Salvador, they're the experiment on this one.
513  Economy / Economics / Re: Where is the value reflected? on: August 10, 2021, 02:06:08 PM
The adoption of bitcoin as a mean of payment is one of the support for the use and function of bitcoin as a currency. This trend will probably become more popular if the regulation are changed to be friendly toward using bitcoin as a currency. So far, many countries allow the use of bitcoin as a mean of payment, this increases demand so that in some ways it can affect the price.
It will go to that point in the future, we just have to wait for it to happen, the government of many countries are just trying to feel the water to see if everything's fine and an extensive study might be able to help their decisions. I don't really like the use of bitcoin as a currency but I do welcome it from happening.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you been grateful for today? on: August 10, 2021, 01:31:33 PM
A roof over my head and not having to worry when to eat and when to pay the bills is something that I a grateful so yeah, I am grateful today. But it doesn't have to be an over the top way of showing it, just whisper to yourself or even enjoy what you're getting is enough to be considered gratefulness plus you owe it to yourself, you did the hard work after all.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 10, 2021, 12:34:08 PM
I only play Axie Infinity so I really don't know if it's considered a gambling, the only part of it that I can think of that it's a gambling is the investment on the teams themselves, you buy them hoping that you can get a return of investment.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 on: August 10, 2021, 11:56:24 AM
It's actually been 3 years. The Tokyo games were postponed 1 year, which created a smaller gap between the two Olympic games.
The next games will be in Paris - Paris 2024. There will be some new modalities, such as break dancing.
I thought that Olympics takes 4 years after the other one? Man, I must be tripping real hard. Also, the breakdancing part, what the hell wast that? I don't think that it's a sport, that's just for me, I think dancing and other stuff should have it's own league, what they need to add is chess or eSports.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: August 10, 2021, 11:15:21 AM
Many new gamblers turn become excessive in playing gambling and can not control themselves. That is because they can not stop as soon as possible from gambling and consider playing for more to win. Or they play from one game to another and stop in one game because they win for some rounds.
I think the self-control problem is already present even before they have started gambling, excessive or compulsive gambling can sometimes be behavioral so they really have no control unless they have willpower to stop the problem himself and accept help from other people, if they don't, things will only get worse.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 09, 2021, 12:47:51 PM
Nope, it's a bit different, remember that there are more analysis on sports betting than poker. Poker, on the other hand has analysis although it focuses more on bankroll management and psychology. That's my take on this question, probably these top 3 users are just really good at gambling, that's why they are on that position.
519  Economy / Gambling / Re: TwiceDice Casino | 110% Bonus | Accepts: BTC, ETH, USDT, DOGE, XRP, BCH, LTC on: August 09, 2021, 11:16:56 AM
~
but what if theres more people that will deposit ?
if people think this site has no limits when it comes to bonuses they will abuse it but that will also be risky since the site was new and what if the site block their funds but anyway theres a " up to 500 $ - € " written in the first page so i assume that it was thier limit  .
they also have other types of deposit bonuses not only one  , this can be their main advantage compare to the other casino .
I doubt that there's going to be a lot of people that's going to be going in this early as I've said, people won't be that trusting yet so I don't exactly think that it's going to be a problem. I have checked their site, it's decent and it seems to me that they have the ability to be able to handle many people but who knows, you might be right and I might be wrong or it could be the reverse.
520  Economy / Gambling / Re: TwiceDice Casino | 110% Bonus | Accepts: BTC, ETH, USDT, DOGE, XRP, BCH, LTC on: August 09, 2021, 07:49:39 AM
It is good that you are offering 110% deposit bonus if the deposit is done for first time. But you have not mentioned the limit of the bonus. Would you like to mention either there is any limit or not? If yes, then what is the limit of the first deposit/deposit bonus.
I think there's a possibility that they would be putting a limit but given that they're a new site to this forum and not a lot of users are using it yet or fully trusts it yet, I think that there's no limit as to how big their deposit bonus is because not everyone is going to put a lot of money yet.
