1481  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2021 Q2) on: April 16, 2021, 07:02:26 AM
You are right that you admitted that you are greedy.
And the April Fool's joke was decisive for you. You originally signed up for the CryptopreneurBrainboss Rewards Program, in which he made a very subtle joke on all the bounty hunters, showing that only a few read the rules. You managed to erase your data but forgot that the information on the forum is being archived. This is a good lesson for you to take. You should not cheat where you are given some kind of earning opportunity. I checked a lot of accounts from that bounty joke, and a lot of profiles were banned, as many of them violated the ban rule for a long time. Some bounty hunters don't care which company they promote, whether it's a scam or not.
The negative tag will remain, moreover, I suspect that your two accounts did not belong to you initially.
What lesson is he going to learn now that his account is pretty much useless, he will only create a new one and learn from the mistakes on this one and not get caught again.
1482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats the best way/method to learn crypto? on: April 16, 2021, 06:19:51 AM
I think there are three things to learn crypto

  • Read books
  • Research
  • Application/Experience]
This three things listed by @akirasendo17 is a good one but you also have to know OP the most common scams that is permeating the bitcoin community and how to avoid them, most newbies are the target of this people so it is better if you know something about it to reduce the possible victims of this scams.
1483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies you should catch these little scam tricks if you want to stay in crypto on: April 16, 2021, 05:34:59 AM
You know what's funny? Some fake groups are even larger community than the original that's why some people are gonna be wondering if the fake one is really a fake. They usually used search engine on telegram and of course the one whom visited mostly are the one pop up and usually it's the fake one. This happened when there is a great news on the project or something big happening. So much better if newbie will double or triple check the group they are joining much safer if they go to coinmarketcap or coingecko and click the social from there instead searching.
That is the saddest thing in my opinion because they have more potential to scam gullible newbies because they have the numbers to back it up and they even have the ability to defame the smaller legitimate group since they have the numbers. One thing that is taught to me that applies to almost every aspect of life is that if something is too good to be true then it probably is.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 15, 2021, 12:55:28 PM
Pacquiao is really different that's why most boxers would like to fight him, Crawford as a boxer than in order for him to make good money, he need to fight a popular boxer and that is none other than Manny Pacquioa. If he will not fight Manny then he should fight Spence, that if both parties will agree.
It's not just that Pacquiao is different but I feel like he has become the rite of passage for new generation boxers to pass through before they can reach newer heights. And as @Distinctin said, the money associated with most of his fight is also attractive.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eth Berlin Upgrade and Gambling on: April 15, 2021, 11:41:12 AM
I don't see what stops people from gambling with the Berlin update, I mean if people want to gamble, it wouldn't really matter because everyday for them in terms is gambling is still the same, it just so happens that Ethereum fees are high so they have to roll with the punches, if you know what I'm saying.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 15, 2021, 10:53:50 AM
I prefer gambling on my mobile devices because I am always on the go, but it is more fun and more relaxing to gamble on laptops or desktop devices, but I don’t gamble with a huge amount as it may hurt when losing happens.
I think not playing a lot of money when gambling is given when you are a responsible gambler (this two words shouldn't be mixed), the only problem that I see with phone is that sometimes when I press the wrong buttons sometimes because some of the buttons are really small compared to desktop or laptop where you can just use a cursor.
1487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Web developer seeking for crypto-gambling website idea on: April 15, 2021, 09:54:40 AM

I don't think there are any provably fair fantasy sports and I really want to make a real provably fair website. But yeah, nice idea, I'll investigate is it possible to make fantasy sports provably fair, a great concept! And also, if I would use non-provably fair sports, for example - virtual horse racing (for example Betradar’s Virtual Horse Racing) I need to pay a license for using it and it's not provably fair so I don't like that idea, and I really don't have money for using third-party services like Betradar’s Virtual Horse Racing (same response above for slots).
I loved that you will look into it, we need more fantasy sports in this industry. If you don't want to use a third-party services then why not try to create your own?
1488  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the government hijack Bitcoin? on: April 15, 2021, 09:12:05 AM
If hijacking the prices is what you mean, I think that they can do it, but they are going to need a lot of money to do so because the only way that I can think is by manipulating the market, I think that us the only way to hijack bitcoin in terms of prices.
1489  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase has started trading in NASDAQ minutes ago on: April 15, 2021, 07:24:49 AM
~

The price already jumped more than 30% in trading and is still strong above 300$. I kind of expected the price to drop directly after the IPO, but it looks like there is still plenty of demand. I am also going to be careful with trading the stock. In my opinion is the stock price be closely related to the crypto market - when crypto coins are strong then the stock price will be high, and  if we see a bust in the coin market than also the stock price will be lower. It might be easier to directly invest in coins and make a higher profit.
That is impressive for them to grow that fast, I envy those lucky people who are going to buy Coinbase stocks right now because now that they are the only one crypto stock in the market right now, I am sure that they are going to see an exponential growth overtime.

Madoff did it,because he seemed trustworthy and he had authority.
He also offered pretty modest returns.Nothing insane, like 50% or 100% ROI or 5% per week "guaranteed profit".Most of the current HYIP scammers are offering such crazy returns on their social media profiles.
I don't know why he did it.He was rich and he could afford a pretty comfortable life, without going this ponzi scam.I guess that greed is the greatest sin.

He is the epitome of greed and is also a scum because one of his son committed suicide after the incident, not to mention that most people that he had recruited were prominent people too so when it goes down the ladder, they were able to do convince other people since most of them are influential in the financial sector too.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: Bernard Madoff dies in prison. A 20 year long Ponzi on: April 15, 2021, 05:55:09 AM
The Ponzi scheme which was carried out by Charles Ponzi landed him jail, this was the first Ponzi scheme in history. That should be so obvious that any Ponzi scheme that is so loud like that in a country that have laws and orders like USA will lead to what happened, which landed Bernard Madoff in jail also. Ponzi scheme should be completely discouraged because the late investors will certainly lose when there is no more investors coming in.
What Madoff did gone on for almost 2 decades IIRC, and I don't know how he did it but when he was caught it was too late, I would agree that most of the time that Ponzi schemes should be seen a mile away but what Madoff did was a really good one because he was a mogul in the financial sector so anything he says is going to be true in a twisted way.
1492  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase has started trading in NASDAQ minutes ago on: April 15, 2021, 05:12:15 AM
Be careful with investing in coinbase though, I am sure that it is an expensive one but the problem is if they give away a dividend or not because if not then probably you can invest less or more if you want because they are going to grow fast since they don't give dividends.
1493  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment the way to economic stability on: April 14, 2021, 11:28:35 AM

Making money with money is or at least it should be the ultimate goal of every single person, however make no mistake you are going to have to lift a finger, you're still going to need to know what you're doing and make an effort to see if every single investment that you made is still doing well, however this is a way better outcome than the alternative of working every single day of the rest of your life for someone else and getting paid a misery while you do it.
Yeah that is what most financial adviser and other prominent businessmen says too and it may look trite, it is true because humans are designed to explore not to survive.
1494  Economy / Speculation / Re: alert app on: April 14, 2021, 10:24:13 AM
I don't use a lot and I don't really pay much attention to increase in prices since I haven't started trading yet but Coingecko app seems to do good since it sends alert and it also has those daily login rewards called Candies where you have to save them to get some perks.
1495  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETOP.GG - Sports & eSports betting |Great Odds|125% bonus|10% Cashback|Cashout| on: April 14, 2021, 09:48:12 AM
I think football remains the top choice of bettors in sportbetting, I have also made bets on tennis several times but not often only when there is a big event like the Grand Slam.
For Predictions Game participants will get a freebet, what are the rules for using the freebet that users get?
My suggestion would be better to mention the prizes at Predictions Game.
I do agree with you although that is the opposite in my country since everyone is hooked with watching basketball even though the average height in my country isn't really that good for a basketball game. I never expected tennis to be a second though, maybe basketball or horse race.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 14, 2021, 09:20:08 AM
Yes, absolutely. I play gambling but I only gamble the money that I can afford to lose. I only use my spare money and not use my budget in other things.

Having a plan in gambling and a proper budget will make you confident and comfortable while playing.

Discipline, patience, and being relaxed is necessary in gambling, you should not be greedy if you can't handle the heat.
That would be problematic though as you are putting a time limit in your playing which for me is a distraction because what I do is to check the vibe and my current feeling when I am playing and if I feel like it is becoming a chore to gamble then I will stop, good thing that I am easily bored with gambling so only a little discipline and I can keep up that kind of playing.
1497  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinCasinoKings.com - Cryptocasino review site founded in 2015 on: April 14, 2021, 08:37:58 AM
Hey, I've just published freebitco.in review on the site along with a couple other new crypto-only casinos. I guess it took me a while to get to review freebitcoin site mostly because I looked at it more like a faucet than a gambling site but after doing a full review on them I found a couple interesting features.

Any other requests please let me know!  Smiley
I would love if you have your own Scam Watch because the Scam Accusation board in this forum isn't enough for information dissemination, it will really help if there are are more sites that are alerting people of Scam casinos.
1498  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 14, 2021, 07:53:36 AM
Got it now

But they didn't have to create such a big scene out of it, should have agreed to credit early. I tried asking politely first, but when they fully refused on the face then I had to inform the world
So the appropriate response is to shout to the world that they are doing something, I feel bad that you got some problems with them but both sides are making a big deal out of it.
1499  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: April 14, 2021, 06:21:53 AM
Honestly people who have the money for gambling this much also has the chance to keep gambling as much as possible. They could simply just ignore all the money it would cost them and keep gambling as much as possible to get there, this is a game challenge for them. Like how you would open up your steam account, pick a game, play there and get an achievement on that game? It is like that for them, because they have so much money that the amount they spend here is nothing to do them at all, it is like game money for them.

This is not really a bad thing, if you are rich and like doing it why not do it?
I think you are right to a certain things but I wouldn't say that only the rich people have the ability to keep gambling, I know some dirt poor people in my place and they are in the gambling house all day 24/7. I wouldn't say it is not a bad thing because that money could've gone to a better cause like free housing for homeless or soup kitchens, there are a lot of problems that these rich people could solve but they choose the vices.

Player vs player concept is successful, because of the zero edge. Here you need good traffic and this can't be achieved through this game. You could've tried this with Dice. If not you could've done with some games like chess that are much of a skill based one. Both the players bet against each and the winner takes the opponents bet providing a fee to the platform as edge.
I would agree, I would probably profit from this by taking a small chunk of the pot money in every game like around .5% of the pot, or if that looks bad maybe some sort of ads or increase traffic. The only problem with PVP gambling is that there is only a few games that are established, I would love some innovations.
