1341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your Bitcoins or die - Bitcoin to $5000 soon - Fiat is best alternative on: May 03, 2021, 04:27:31 AM
I think Bitcoin already strong and no more fud from people who join in this forum, but today I see him again. I just want to say, welcome bro, I hope you enjoy it. Your thread is the funniest thread ever. No matter what you say, no one will hears you, you just make yourself like a fool

See you again when Bitcoin hit 100K.
There are other funny FUD threads out there so I disagree with you that this is the funniest thread. I agree that bitcoin is strong and to be honest, it won't go down lower than 5k anytime soon because it will continue to get big in the long run and a lot of companies are hodling for the long term which means that the supply isn't going to go up any time soon.

They were prepared but it seems like their people out there were not too disciplined. In US for example, they even fight for their rights to NOT to wear a mask in public due to uncomfortable feeling. Other is that their government was slow. Slow in terms of implementing lockdowns and efficiently conduct one unlike China where they really impose lockdowns using brute force but with support of course.
China has experience with outbreaks so it is understandable that they know what to do, although they might be suppressing their numbers to make them not look bad. The problem in the US with anti-maskers is that they think that they know better, if the Internet wasn't invented, these idiots would have no way to spread their contagious idiocracy. Regarding the slow implementation for other countries, either the government is incompetent or they are underdeveloped country and no in-between.
1343  Economy / Economics / Re: Using Blockchain to run economies on: May 02, 2021, 03:24:26 AM
~
Actually we need more support to do that. Blockchain isn't able to stay in path of long run without proper guidelines. Blockchain technology can help to improve the economic condition but beside it, government should adopt it. Without proper necessary steps, we won't be able to prosper our economic condition.
My experience of government is really bad so I don't really trust them improving their system to a new level, government websites in my country don't work all the time and the site isn't even aesthetically pleasing. Maybe highly developed countries can adopt but I won't believe that my country will.
1344  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Agriculture on: May 01, 2021, 11:15:25 AM
Convert your bitcoins to fiat so you can use it better since it isn't widely adopted in the agricultural sector. I might be wrong and you are doing it already but that is the only way that I think that bitcoin can help you.
1345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated people are walking biological time bombs and a THREAT to society on: May 01, 2021, 10:36:38 AM
Not really, have you heard of herd immunity, it is where people like you that are smarter than science are being carried by the population that is vaccinated, with them being immune to the virus, which means that the virus can't spread to people like you.
1346  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitCloak mixer is gone ? on: May 01, 2021, 09:46:06 AM
I did a couple of searches, there really wasn't any information about it, it seem to be unactive on social media platforms for a long time. I've known it since 2016, I even remember their Twitter addresses. Tried visiting their twitter page, and the last active is in 2018, they really disappeared, lol
That site is a pretty obscure one to be honest, operating for years and doesn't have any active social media presence is a red flag for me, I did check the site and unfortunately it displays an error, maybe it is the country that is the problem.
1347  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me what company this btc address belongs to? on: May 01, 2021, 08:52:47 AM
I don't think that there is no way to know who is the company behind the address because knowing so will defeat the purpose of bitcoin being pseudonymous. Also for what reason do you want to know the company or entity behind the address.
1348  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mixers under the threat? on: May 01, 2021, 06:18:51 AM
Interesting and other news, which was also posted on this forum. The FBI also uses mixers to hide transactions with confiscated bitcoins.
While the authorities openly state that mixing contributes to crime, the FBI itself does not hesitate to use them. https://news.bitcoin.com/report-claims-fbi-bitcoin-mixers-btc-forfeiture-processing/
Holy shit, I don't know what to say about this kind of thing, they are really hypocritical in terms of enforcement of the law, I really wanted to side with the law against mixers/tumblers but this news even though a speculation made me change teams real quick.
1349  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 01, 2021, 05:30:58 AM
For me, crypto is much better than stocks in some ways but there are some that stocks are better than crypto. For crypto, it makes a bigger profit at such a short time when compared to a stock which takes over a decade to even possibly reach 1/4 of the growth of crypto in a year. For stocks, they are more insured compared to crypto which means that there is no possibility of going home losing in stocks if they or you lost it unlike crypto where you are your own bank.
Each has their own merits of investing though, crypto still has an uncertain future since it isn't as old as stocks yet which means that in the next 50 years, they might be worthless unlike stocks that has proven to last that long although you can't gain a big profit in such a short time with stocks so to each of their own.
1350  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: May 01, 2021, 04:42:53 AM
Such a poor mindset, if you spend every penny today like you are going to die tomorrow then you will only spiral into poverty because you didn't save some money for tomorrow. If you are smart and you are careful, you have a lower chance to get infected by the virus.
1351  Economy / Economics / Re: Will China take over the world with the Digital Yuan? on: May 01, 2021, 03:59:36 AM
It's hard to dethrone USD and EUR in their status as global reserve currencies. It's just that the world has put too much trust into these currencies that any new ones attempting to take over will not matter. With the way how China runs its economy and its domestic policies, the rest of the world would not like that to happen to the rest of them. Also, who really wants to risk a whole lot of money in hoarding a digital currency that is not really proven in the financial world anyway?
From a video that I have watched, the Digi Yuan will disappear if you don't spend it so it is a worthless currency to hodl and they also can track your every move so no thank you, I don't think that Digi Yuan is going to get big. And as @dothebeats says, it is difficult to dethrone USD which is the reserve currency for most countries in the world.
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: OK my apology Bitcoin is not a PONZI but I still call it a huge bubble on: May 01, 2021, 03:22:23 AM
There was a signature that I have read in this forum although I have forgotten who was the user that had that but in it it says that "Bitcoin is not a bubble, it is the pin." Which is pretty profound in my opinion but you get the gist of it, it is the one that will pop the biggest bubble which is the current financial sector.
1353  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to bitcoin price? on: May 01, 2021, 02:28:51 AM
~

Because people is greedy. They don't notice gain since they want it that's only negative price gives them most of concern. Even Bitcoin price pump more than 100% within a day, People will still enter on the peak because of greediness which results to FOMO. This is a common scenario in crypto and a simple click profit for this kind of news is not that big impact as reason.
These same people that you are mentioning are probably privileged pieces of shit that do not appreciate the small things that happening and all they ever do is whine about how they are losing money when they could've not panic sell when the price did a temporary drop.
1354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: April 30, 2021, 01:32:57 PM
~
Aside from that, the uprising trend of the market seems to have no chance to stop, and I'd never think about the crash but just only price corrections.

So, whatever happens in the past could not be the same today or in the future. It maybe OP will stop thinking about the crash as it only fuels negativity but rather extend our trust with Bitcoin. It was proven already and that is enough to think that Bitcoin will continue to grow, not to crash again.
That's a healthy way to look at the prices and not cause a panic that doesn't contribute anything but the unnecessary anxiety of worrying about something inevitable. Yeah, bitcoin has proven time and time again and I don't get how they still worry when the prices are going down.
1355  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Can bitcoin prices bounce back? Opinion Poll With Results 🛑 on: April 30, 2021, 12:11:53 PM
bitcoin will bounce back even higher than its price some time ago. I see now that bitcoin correction does not bode as a downturn, but as one thing for bitcoin to fly higher in the near future. believe bitcoin will bounce back
Definitely, just look at the charts of bitcoin prices, there are downs followed by a big pump so definitely the price is going to bounce back. And to everyone who checks the prices everyday, stop doing that because you just feel unnecessary anxiety looking at the prices going negative, remember the rule of the market, it will only go up in the long-term.
1356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: April 30, 2021, 10:53:35 AM
Look at the chart dude, the 2018 crash happened around mid-January  while the prices have been going strong for about 4 or 5 months now, so I don't think that it will be the same as 2018 because the moment that bitcoin didn't crash in mid-January 2021 is enough proof that it will be different this year.
1357  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to bitcoin price? on: April 30, 2021, 10:13:46 AM
~

Why all the buzz when Bitcoin is going down, only those who buy late will complain when the price is going down, but those who long time hodlers and those seasoned investors always knew that the price dip is just a momentum for the price to pick up again in the bull run, 2021 is a new year of bull run and I don't see the price crashing unless we see a scenario worse like the pandemic.
Exactly, my hunch is that probably the people who make a big deal out of bitcoin price going down is because it generates clicks and it makes their agenda of making bitcoin look like a bad guy.
1358  Economy / Economics / Re: Using Blockchain to run economies on: April 30, 2021, 09:27:48 AM
It will be problematic for blockchain to manage the economy because there are a lot of tangents in economy that blockchain has to cover and what is the point of using blockchain as a device to monitor economy, the current tech works perfectly even though a lot of supply chain is tangled.
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla's Q1 SEC Reveale holding $2.48 Billion Bitcoin on: April 30, 2021, 08:51:50 AM
True, they didn't sell more up to March 31, but who knows if they were the culprit of the April 13 - 24 dump.
Tesla is a corporation, so you can expect they will maximize profits for themselves. Tesla and Musk aren't "the good guy" that will pump xxx coins price to make you rich. On the contrary, they will suck your money.
Depends how you look at it, to me if they were to buy more bitcoin then it is good because I am hodling a considerable amount of bitcoin and if it ever comes to the point where they dump a lot to get big profits then it will be an opportunity for me to buy more bitcoin to hodl so when the price bounces back and reaches another ATH then I will get more profit.
1360  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price end of year? on: April 30, 2021, 08:07:02 AM
Looking at the way Bitcoin reacts to some bad news and possible bearish scenario, with Tesla selling, some FUD about bans here and there, I feel like we'll end this bull market with 80 thousand or close to it.

I really feel like we have another move ahead of us. Some traders think that we'll even have 2 more with the last one being the strongest. Worst case scenario we'll go sideways for a few months and move up in Autumn.
Pretty conservative estimate because there are still 8 months or so left for bitcoin to grow so I would completely disagree with this prediction, maybe around 120k or higher than that if there is a continuous buys from a lot of companies.
