1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 28, 2021, 07:03:09 AM

That's only possible if you are not a gambler, but if you are a gambler, you mind will always be looking of the entertainment gambling could bring to you, actually it's not bad to gamble, we just have to be smart by being responsible and knowing how to control ourselves. More losing experience, that's normal but sometimes we win big time and that could give us the best entertainmnet or fulfillment as a gambler.
You are talking about gambling as if there is no cure to addiction to gambling, I disagree that it is only possible if you are not a gambler, there are rehabilitation for addiction and I am pretty sure that even gamblers can quit entirely in gambling.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any new casinos with token "mining" i should check out? on: April 28, 2021, 06:13:54 AM
I think the hype of this profit-sharing token is already faint. I was an EarnBet/EOSBet user but no longer play because they don't deliver more games. Anyway, profit sharing token if it's used properly can be a good deal, but most of the sites will have these "miners" who play dice for the sole purpose of getting the token. Since HE for dice is far lower than slots, it ruins the users' experience of slots players (they wager $$$ to get peanuts).

IMO don't waste your time for this type of casino as many have failed, and probably many more will fail.
The problem with this kind of thing is that it is hard to find a difficult balance between caring for your customers and making a profit and in my opinion is the reason why almost all of them failed to deliver what they promise. I do agree that we shouldn't use this kind of thing because if they can't find the balance, it will be difficult to make a decent profit out of it which inevitably wastes your time.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia in Dubai on July 2021? on: April 28, 2021, 05:37:26 AM
I have not seen this being reported by more mainstream news outlets but it very well could be true. Mikey Garcia was the most obvious choice if the fight with Crawford could not be made.
It's just rumors yet but Pacquiao fighting more Latinos again is a good surprise for me, it has been a long time coming since he did something like this. If this happens hopefully we can see a bloodbath.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 27, 2021, 09:58:48 AM
That is a big word to say in my opinion because it sounds pretty ironic that you are called a gambler and at the same time responsible, isn't most gamblers forsake their responsibility because they are gambling.
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: April 27, 2021, 09:01:49 AM
I am sure that a lot of poor countries including mine would be economically devastated after this pandemic considering that there was a lot of revenue and workforce that was lost during the pandemic and recovery is going to be difficult, hopefully we can see some policy changes after this pandemic.
1386  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh Bank will not leave any digital currency in the market on: April 27, 2021, 07:34:37 AM
I think this is a wrong decision of the Bangladesh government.  They should adopt digital currency system.  If Bitcoin is legal in Bangladesh, many people will get many benefits from here too.  I think bitcoin can never be a means of corruption.  Corruption is the manifestation of one's personal mind.  If someone wants to be corrupt, he can do it in any way.  For this he does not have to take the help of Bitcoin.  I think corruption is a kind of sick mentality.  For example, I can talk about television.  Television is made for the purpose of good work.  If someone uses television for bad, then it is not the fault of television.  The fault is in the mentality of that person.  So I think the Bangladesh government should accept Bitcoin well.
It is wrong for us but I am assuming that they have their reasons as to why they are banning cryptocurrency in their nation. Corruption is indeed a sick mentality but if we continue to get blinded by riches and power then the chain of corruption will remain unbroken.
1387  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: April 27, 2021, 06:46:08 AM
If I am lucky and I get a lot of profit hodling bitcoin, I might be able to retire at my 30s or 35s because I am set for life if the prices go higher than we could expect. And with that, I can do whatever I want, travel, hike, vacation and do what I am really passionate about.
1388  Economy / Economics / Re: Big test for Bitcoin during the next Economic Collapse. on: April 27, 2021, 06:04:13 AM
~

It doesn’t, and I’m personally not wishing for an Economic Collapse, but do you actually still trust our leaders to not lose control over the monetary/financial system? Maybe you do, but you should STILL HODL Bitcoin just in case you will need a fall-back/back-up. Cool
What part did I say that I trust the leaders, I am just pointing out the obvious and practical which is that they are going to protect the Economy against inflation because they are a reserved currency so if they were to be obliterated by hyperinflation then a lot of countries will suffer.
1389  Economy / Economics / Re: China to overtake the Us as the largest global economy by 2028? on: April 27, 2021, 05:18:16 AM
~

Which country are you fingering for human right violation? I don't expect you referring to America because they have a court system that check against that. We know America is referred to as the largest democratic national and that is because of her democratic structures.
On the other way too, the Chinese are really going into manufacturing in max and trying to conquer the market but K still don't see them taking over from American whose feet us already on the ground. They are leaving the memory of covid-19 behind as they giving aid to families which is good to restart the economy.
Well, both of them have a lot of human rights violation, let me list some of that I know from both sides. US is responsible for Nisour Square Massacre, Selling Cocaine to fund Contra Rebels in Nicaragua, Backing Dictators in a lot of countries because of Red Fear, Guantanamo Files, Chicago Blacksite and MK-Ultra. For China, Great Leap Forward that resulted to Famine, Tiananmen Square Massacre, Falun Gong Forced Organ Harvest, Uighur Concentration Camp and Great Firewall of China.
1390  Economy / Economics / Re: The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin on: April 27, 2021, 04:23:12 AM
The CBDC has been piloted in a number of countries, essentially the CBDC will not pose a threat to bitcoin and it will even have a clear regulation for the exchange with bitcoin. Maybe or won't they? Anyway, with the CBDC, the government has begun to acknowledge blockchain technology and it is a moment of truth that they cover up.
Which countries, I am pretty curious because the only one I know is the Digital Yuan from China. I do think so because most CBDC have a framework similar to cryptocurrency but I have heard they put tracking on it so more like a digital money.
1391  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe history repeat itself? Economic wise. on: April 27, 2021, 03:30:11 AM
If we do the same shit and just labeled it differently, I am sure that we will be arriving at the same result as when it first happened, look at the current pandemic as an example, people are stupid enough to create gatherings that will cause the infection to reach more people back, this is what happened back in the era of Spanish flu and look at what we did.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 27, 2021, 02:50:41 AM
Simple answer is yes, because they are like a retail investors, they just have a really big portfolio compared to a typical retail investor and it takes a lot of time to sell all of their bitcoins and other cryptocurrency since they have more. If it ever comes to them selling, there is nothing to worry because the dip that they will cause will eventually recover.
1393  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to Enslave U & Track U on: April 27, 2021, 02:03:21 AM
If you think that Bitcoin is a trap to enslave you and track everything then you have the power to not use them. It is your choice and i am not doing anything illegal with my investment and even if a government wants to track my transaction i do not care but i need the privacy from the general public as i do not want to expose how much money i hold to anyone but naturally you cannot hide anything from the government.

We are living in a world where everything is monitored and no one will claim that bitcoin is created to make you rich but to be more transparent. Basically anyone who reaches a market during the initial stages will make a huge profit and you cannot say that about a user who invests in the market a decade later as the profits will be minimal like the other markets.
OP will be an idiot if OP were to not use bitcoin, I mean does our address pinpoint us exactly where we are in the world at a 100% accuracy. I don't get how you are scared of getting tracked when you have all your personal information on the hands of the government, if you don't want to get tracked, try not using electronics and mobile devices and live on the mountains.

I do not believe that in contrast, basketball is overshadowing other sports where Filipinos are good and famous at. Most probably it is just because of the perspective that you currently at that's why you're having that opinion. Me too ofcourse. But I do think that sports are not not dependent on other sports.
Isn't that what I said, basketball overshadowing the the other sports? It's not perspective, it is because we have bigger market for basketball that we don't support other sports like billiards, boxing and chess.
1395  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 26, 2021, 12:11:29 PM
Leicester vs Crystal Palace tonight, should be a home win & another step closer to CL qualification for the Foxes.
Quite brilliant season by Brendan Rodgers’ men. Crystal Palace are always dangerous on the counter attack with Zaha but I’m quite confident Leicester will win this one.
Leicester was good with West back in Thursday so I would be in favor of them, not to mention that they have a chance for a place in the Championship League. Maybe 1-0 in favor Leicester or a 2-1 in favor of Leicester.
1396  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 26, 2021, 10:55:23 AM
So many posts but there is no valid update regarding what and why Roobet has made the decision to have KYC verification so far. There should be official statement regarding this. Like whether the country of origin where they are based is asking them to have their customers KYC verified?

Or whether Roobet needs by law to verify all of them so that they can have demographic data on the same? If yes, then why this wasn’t regulated earlier? Also, it has already made many peeps angry so is there anything Roobet is going to do about it ?
I don't know what to say about this but I believe that this is a good thing because in the end, most casino sites are going to end up in this point although I would like Roobet to have them announce their reason to help the restless be settled down.
1397  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Best odds on: April 26, 2021, 10:05:46 AM
But still many are complaining of getting scammed the ratio is too big, you cannot keep up for every 10 or 20 complaints you can only solve one, I like to believe that this is your strategy, you are their representative here so you can show players that it's ok to play on 1XBIT because they are addressing the issues when in fact you only address one in every 10 or 20 complaints, you are making money from doing this.
As if they are going to hear you, I am pretty sure that they are content that they solve 1 to 3 issues and let the other underlying issue be swept under the rug. And those 1 to 3 solved issues might even be some sock puppets. To 1xbit, if you want to slowly get those reds off your trust then try to solve the issues that are accused of you.

Can you share what country are you talking about?  Smiley
Oh yeah, it is the Philippines, although I like the enthusiasm for basketball, I find it sad at the same time because it overshadows other sports that my country is famous for like billiards and sometimes boxing.
1400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: RIP Stocks on: April 26, 2021, 07:09:00 AM
Great choice you've made. If you compare the performance of crypto assets and that of various stocks for a particular time period, i know you will be amazed by how impressive crypto assets are in terms of profits thanks to the volatility in crypto market which you won't get from other markets like stocks or even forex. It's just exceptional. I have friends that made a similar move recently to sell shares, bonds and other assets and put those funds in crypto. The interesting thing is that they were glad they did because those investments has been doing very well lately. Good luck
Not necessarilly a good choice for me because you can get dividends on stocks while hodling while in crypto you don't. OP could've transferred it slowly or OP could've not moved it and started over in crypto.
