503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: New Altcoin... on: August 02, 2017, 05:25:00 PM
Hello
I am interested in producing an Altcoin to raise funds for a project , but I'm kinda inexperienced with this plus I am a dentist so no experience with programming at all
I would be grateful if someone could help me out from zero level about what I should do to start this project

A couple of things you need to be aware of. Number one, considering a perfect coating and a perfect launch, and everything else going exactly as planned, your Alt coin will be one of hundreds that are lost within a 60-day period. The next thing you need to take it a consideration is the fact that you don't have it a program or coding experience. What that means that if you pay someone to do that there's a very good chance that they can take advantage of you 30 days down the line 3 days down the line or even a year down the line.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value Going Up? on: August 02, 2017, 04:26:23 PM
There was no reason it wouldn't continue to go up. There was reason it could have got slightly down the day before August 1st. It didn't seem to do so if it did there was no differentiating that between normal normal price changes, and I don't even think there were any of those. The price of Bitcoin is consistently continue to go up and there's no reason that should change now.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to trade BCC? on: August 02, 2017, 03:25:25 PM
I use bittrex..im new to this bitcoins..is it good..bittrex?

BCC Market is going to Down on Bittrex. Future is Dark....

future is amazing without bcc
There is no future in BCC. It was expected for BCC to be dumped high as all of the people got BCC as an airdrop and they immediately sell it to bitcoins to get  maximum free cash or more Bitcoins.  BCC just thought they have a chance to peep into the Fork and make a mark, but to their disappointment they have fallen apart.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bitcoin decentralized? on: July 27, 2017, 05:07:45 AM
That is a fun question. Six months ago or more, if you had a wallet on your computer and I had a wallet on my computer, and all we ever did was trade Bitcoin back and forth between those two wallets, then what we were doing was 100% decentralized. The fact was that our business between our two wallets was not controlled in any way buy any 'Central' unit. However, if some of the Bitcoin I sent to you you sent to an exchange, did the decentralized concept started to die. It wasn't a big way, simply the fact that website owners had to use databases, software, and other things that were not part of the Bitcoin core. This is the smallest level of decentralization.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are being used. on: July 27, 2017, 04:02:06 AM
You're never really going to find a bunch of new people that come in based on their love of Bitcoin. Think about services from the past, like for example PayPal. We were running three or four different websites at the time, and we were doing a lot with technology, and myself my partner thought that PayPal was absolutely beautiful new idea and we played with it for like the entire first night when we ran into it. But that's us, and that's the same thing we did was Bitcoin when we ran into it. We're not going to get new customers we're not going to get new clients, and we're not going to get new users of Bitcoin, based on the fact that it's a cool crypto thing.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash: A fork is coming after all on: July 27, 2017, 03:43:09 AM
Two weeks after the fork, and consensus has fully settled on each Fork, and there enough people in miners using the two options, scammer is never going to get consensus on a third Fork. But but in the first few minutes, with a great deal of luck it would be possible. The odds of this happening are extremely low, because they would literally be pitting software wallet users against the pools, exchanges, and sites that have already taken steps to make sure that they're on the right software version.
509  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 27, 2017, 02:50:21 AM
The dollar, the mystical cloth currency. There is no logical reason why this still exists. This has absolutely nothing to do with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. As soon as almost every consumer in the United States had the ability to carry with them a debit card, and those debit cards have the ability to receive income based on paychecks, government payouts and even a transfer from a friend for no reason at all, then cloth or paper currency whatever you want to call it should have ceased to exist.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitrrex to handle the chain split on: July 27, 2017, 02:33:26 AM
Up to this point, other than announcements, the only active change I've seen for them is it they increased 38 confirmations from 3 to 6. It's actually kind of funny, that the additional activity on the blockchain has speed things up to the point, we're we're getting those six confirmations in less time than it took to get three last week.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to find lost bitcoins? on: July 27, 2017, 02:17:19 AM
Sure it can be done, but the odds of doing it are about the same as solo mining finding a block. in layman's terms with Bitcoin, the block of transactions is encrypted, the encryption key thrown away, and the miners try to crack that key. So basically finding lost Bitcoin is an almost-identical process. Now the private keys of wallets is based on a specific hash, there was a period of time when an easier method would be to brute-force a 12 word passphrase on a software wallet.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BLOCKNET and Syscoin on: July 27, 2017, 01:57:54 AM
With things like this, I think would be interesting, to have three side-by-side timelines. What time line with the average price for a dozen or so good exchanges, a second timeline showing announcements of this time, and a third timeline with major events such as a soft or hard Fork. I think would be interesting to see the effect on price that announcements like this soft Forks hard Forks and even legal action has on The Price Index
513  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2017, 10:45:59 PM
I don't think you have to. I have eight year old twins boy and a girl. And when we've had discussions about Fiat, myself in their mother have never actually sat down and attempted to teach them about money in that way. However, somewhere between there school. Watching us. And personal experience. They have learned enough to have a basic understanding of money. When I say basic understanding, I mean the fact that he knows that a $2 item is equal to 2 $1 items. I think it will be the same with Bitcoin and I have still not 100% positive that it will be necessary
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HERE IS HOW THE FORK WILL HAPPEN. on: July 26, 2017, 04:32:26 PM
The world will not die with a bang, but with a whisper. I believe that this soft Fork while it solved many problems, basically since people up for hard Forks in the future. Basically, you get people past the first soft Fork, build up a lot of fear, and then show them there was nothing to be afraid of. Then, after a little more time is past. You start issuing a few more soft Fork here and there.
515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Worth investing as a student? on: July 26, 2017, 04:18:54 PM
Hey there. New to the BitcoinTalk forums, happy to be here Smiley

I'm a student in the UK. I get a few hundred in cash (£250ish) for christmas + birthday money every year and was thinking about investing in Bitcoin. Would you say it is worth investing as a student, especially now with the market rising around BIP91? If so, how much would you recommend? And how much profit would I be able to make within half a year or so?
Investing in bitcoins is the best idea.Just buy bitcoins before august 1 as price is expected to skyrocket after that.Bitcoin has almost tripled in its price in the past six months. So if same trend continues, surely you could double your investment within half a year.

I agree with you, now is a very good time to invest in bitcoin. The price has slightly decreased and everyone has a good chance to buy bitcoin at a pleasant price. After August 1, still some price fluctuations are possible, but this need not be feared

If you want to you can set that up on a fairly regular basis make sure it's structured for yourself at The X number of dollars every X number of days. Now on the other hand, if you're looking for something that's going to make you money between this week and next week and third week that Bitcoin is actually kind of dangerous. It really depends on how quickly you need to get your money back out that you've invested.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need Help Solo Mining To My Fucking DigiByte Wallet! Somebody Please Help Me? on: July 26, 2017, 03:55:21 PM
I assume you're using Windows, if so there's a couple of different locations where that file maybe it's supposed to be in the roaming app user file sometimes it's in the local file. When I like to do, is create conf file, and put copies of it everywhere, not really everywhere but definitely a copy and they have to use your data with local and roaming. You might want to also turn the debugging information up to verbose.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Target Coin - World's FIRST And ONLY Bonus Paying Crypto Fund on: July 26, 2017, 03:40:00 PM
I think targetcoin traders may post some weekly or monthly trading results or reports, constant positive results will boost confidence in targetcoin and investors will invest more.

This ^^^^, it is good to see that the project making headway. I second the quoted post by reiterating the point already made that if Targetcoin shows positive results by posting them here, It will help boost investor confidence and attract more investors to the ICO.

Displaying the real time ICO results and making them public will no doubt help the confidence and trust further in this coin. Also i must say that Target coin is doing excellent promotion for their ICO and making the results visible will bring in more investment.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: July 26, 2017, 03:16:58 PM
If you want to make a true stake in cryptocurrency between now and the end of the year, one of the things that you can concentrate on, are creating services, and Frameworks, that provide stability for people with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. One of the things that people see, is constantly changing code, growing numbers of coins, constantly changing prices, and a lot of things that make them feel like the foundation isn't stable under all of this.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: "YObit", "CRYPTOPIA", which is the most trusted exchange office? on: July 22, 2017, 09:41:59 AM
I suppose that means you are looking for what you can trust with your money? Technically neither one of them is ever going to steal money from you. However yobit will play games with your money they will hold it they will not release it to you if they feel like it and they can do that for an indefinite period of time. I've never run into this with the other exchanges except for a little bit on polo

Most people throw their hands up in the air at these problems and say oh they're being stolen from her over there being scammed they're not being scammed the fact is it's a business it's a business that works in a digital currency with very little regulation so they can do what they want and if people don't like it they should probably open up their own exchange and do the same thing.
520  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: July 22, 2017, 09:19:14 AM
The same way you would make any other kind of commodity happen in that period of time. You can trade for it you can earn money for it you can trade different type of commodity for it or you can simply buy it and hope for the best. The only way to make money is to make money the only way to earn money is to earn money.
