If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage.  Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm.  On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.
If you really have the money why would you hold back? Many people have been dreaming of being able to buy and to own their own house. It is not easy living in a house where you have to pay monthly and to pay at a high rate. Having bitcoin that can support your needs like buying your own house is great. Besides, it is much better to spend you bitcoin in buying a house than using it in playing gambling.

I am supporting your idea of buying your own house. I wish that you will find a house that will suite your style and will give you the comfortableness that every house should have.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 14, 2017, 08:34:24 PM
Find a new hobby to replace gambling. Try working out, learning to code, video games or something like that. I wouldn't recommend gambling with play money, the best thing to do is do some new hobby whenever you feel the urge to gamble. Just keep it up and the urge will eventually go away.
You are right about that. Having a new hobby to do would definitely help to keep you in staying away from gambling. It might be hard to resist whenever you get the urge of playing again but think of the greater benefit if you can control yourself from gambling.

Getting addicted to gambling has always been a problem for any player. It took a lot of courage to tell yourself that you are going to quit gambling.

Gambling may be a good game to play for past-time but there is this big chance of getting addicted if you won’t limit yourself in playing and in betting.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin Improve? on: June 14, 2017, 05:17:27 PM
So to my understanding, bitcoin has two big problems and one actually corresponds to other. That is increasing high fees or else late transactions.
So the question is, can bitcoin solve these issues? I mean with increasing value of bitcoin, won't fees always keep on increasing? Is there a solution to that?
And I think that solution will also solve the timing of transactions problem.
What do you say?
Transaction fees and slow transactions have been a problem for all of us. We all know that in withdrawing bitcoin, there are these high fees that we have to pay for the transaction. Also that the transaction process usually takes 2-3 days for us to be able to withdraw bitcoin.

Having an own ATM machine could somehow decrease the chance of paying transaction fees. If bitcoin will have its own withdrawal card (unlike now where we use Paypal cards to withdraw) there is a possibility that the fee will be lower.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: June 13, 2017, 04:39:09 PM
I have experienced being laughed at by my friends who do not believe in crypto currencies. They told me that this would not get me anywhere and that there is no benefits in it. They also told me that I am just being a crypto-freak and that this is the result of staying at home always in front of my computer. I would never forget their expression when I told them that I could earn money through this.

I have been saving up my earnings not to show them how big someone could earn through bitcoin. I am saving because I want to show them that through bitcoin (and in believing in it).
I could afford paying for my school fees, projects, and miscellaneous without asking money from my parents. I want them to see that bitcoin had helped me a lot and that it could help them too if they would just try it.
505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: June 13, 2017, 04:26:45 PM
No I did not. For me, it is not smart to put all of your funds in bitcoin because we do not know what might happen in the future. I know that investing in bitcoin is a very good advantage but I am just being wise to think that in case something happened, I would still have some money left in me. The current price of bitcoin is really tempting for us to invest everything we had but consider the fact that bitcoin is still unstable.

Also, the used of bitcoin for transactions is online. If there is no internet connection, no transactions can be done and bitcoin cannot be used. Bitcoin would be useless if there is no internet connection. Imagine, if something happened that might have caused the internet to be down. What would you do if you have put all of your funds in bitcoin?
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CAVS VS GSW on: June 13, 2017, 03:38:19 PM
and finally, GSW are the champions officially, after the previous 3-1 comeback in last year I'm confident the players didn't do this game as a game while you are leading a big lead but as a very important one, finally the course of common sense took it's roll.
I have feeling that in this game 5 was the last game for NBA finals this year, and this will happened. They din't want to happen the last year losing from cleveland, and I think the game 5 is the time to finish the finals because of home court advantages. Not at all, and also because of player, I'm not surprising that kiven durant was the final MVP not curry, their performance helps to come back in the finals and especially to get the trophy.

Nice job, congrats team golden state warrior.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: June 13, 2017, 03:22:45 PM
So, has anyone in here really doubled their money using the method of the one posting this topic??
Using bitcoin for investing is a good method to double your money. Many members of this forum have been suggesting that investing is one of the best method to gain a big profit. Even if it has an unstable price, still there are many investors who would take a risk in bitcoin. Aside from gaining a big profit from a big investment, they believe bitcoin is a good investment and it would be of great use in the future.

And now that the price of bitcoin is over 130K, investing in it had been more interesting.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 13, 2017, 03:04:52 PM
Bitcoin is still not supported in some countries because bitcoin is still not legal. There are countries who would not recognized bitcoin’s use since it is still considered illegal in other countries.

Bitcoin’s unstable price might be a reason why many people are still uncertain in using it. There are people who would not even want to try it and even if the price of bitcoin sounds good, it is still not good enough for huge countries to be interested in it.

Bitcoin is getting popular but it still needs to be more popular. If we want bitcoin to have a bigger and wider use, bitcoin must target the attention of major countries. Having major countries to support bitcoin will surely make a huge difference in bitcoin’s status and price ( especially ).
509  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: June 12, 2017, 01:59:20 PM
if the price of Bitcoin is stable, it will refuse from it a lot of investors. And the common people do not want to use it
Yes I agree with you. If bitcoin’s price has a fixed rate, the investors and the businessman would not be interested in it as well as other people. Investors are interested in bitcoin because its price is getting higher and higher. Investing in bitcoin will surely be a good source of profit from them.

I have told some of my friends about bitcoin a long time ago and they were not interested back then. I have told them that its price would get higher in the future but they would not believe me. Days ago, one of them have asked me about bitcoin again. He heard about the sudden increase in bitcoin’s price and he told me that he is interested now in bitcoin.

This is a good example for your question. If bitcoin does really have a stable price, many people would not be interested in it and it is not as popular as it is now.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 12, 2017, 12:23:33 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
It is pretty obvious because of the chances to get a profit. They want an extra profit by giving a time for easily way to earn money that may called "gambling".

It's all about greediness, greedy to come back their money if they lose, greedy to win more. Because they never realize the possible may happen if they become addicted. They only in their mind is to win, win allot.

I guess its also because of people who surround to us and encourage to try the happiness of gambling and at the end it turn to addicting.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 12, 2017, 12:05:40 PM
Bitcoin is an investment choice that has given me big advantage. And of course i have bitcoin for future purposes to be better.
Me too, I used my bitcoin for future purpose. In my mind the true sense of bitcoin is a stuff to survive and help us to fill our need, and not only this because it is possible to bring in a good life.

And I think, those people whose purpose is to use for fun they wasting the opportunity of bitcoin. They need to realize the true uses of bitcoin. If they learn/study about bitcoin, I'm sure that they will give a thanks to bitcoin.
512  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 12, 2017, 11:38:03 AM
If I answer you no then I'll be lying. Even though my hope is for us to see 1 btc equivalent to 1 btc some day with the price of fiat mean nothing to us, the current movement of the price still gives us the indication in how well accepted btc is and its demand. I do agree with your reasoning but until the I will still closely follow the btc price movement.

Of course, the price of bitcoin matters.  Most people decided to invest in bitcoin because they expect that the price of bitcoin will continually rise then their investment will gain not to put in vain.  Those people that is being paid through bitcoins in exchange of their online jobs are also concerned with the bitcoin price because online jobs is their source of income. The price of bitcoin really matter so I am looking forward for its continue success and sooner its legalization.
I'm agree with you, thus, not only for investing but especially in other transaction. If you use bitcoin for paying online it is non-sense because we can use the other currency that are most demand. Infact, they wait to increase the price (equal value to dollar/local currency) to less bitcoin will use.

Additionally, I'm sure the trading will face out in bitcoin. As a business, trading is most easily way to get an income through bitcoin. And this will the reason why bitcoin need to buy and sell, it's all about profit.
513  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 11, 2017, 04:51:42 PM
What actually matter is not the actual price, it's the trend.
If the price is stable or rising, the adoption increases. People and businesses get more confident in bitcoin and start using it. More miners start up their gears.
If the price is falling, people get scared / suspicious and will go away from bitcoin.

I agree with you. If the price of bitcoin would go down again many investors might withdraw from their deals and the interest for bitcoin might get less. There are people who are just interested with bitcoin because of its current price now in the market. I have experienced telling some of my friends about crypto when its price was just about 50K. There is this doubtful expression on their faces at that time. But the sudden rise of bitcoin’s price from 70K to 130K got their attention and now they are asking about it now.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: June 11, 2017, 04:05:23 PM
I will keep a portion of my winnings into my personal fund. Then I will use the remaining to fund my bankroll. Anyway, I don't really bet big so my winnings and losses are not big enough to affect me. Taking profit is very important in gambling no matter how much you are wagering.
I collect my winnings together with my earnings. I keep saving up bitcoins because I believe that it will be beneficial in the future. For me, bitcoin is a great investment and I am also enjoying saving it. I play gambling but I do not bet big because I really want to save bitcoin. I have been joining signature campaigns and altcoins to earn and I like how convenient it is for me. I can earn money while staying at home and I do not need to dress up for office meetings.

Anyways, I am still a student and earning bitcoin had been helping me up in my financial needs. I might need to get a stable job two years from now but I will still keep on earning bitcoin.
515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: June 11, 2017, 01:11:54 PM
Bitcoin have a future because bitcoin has a power to survive many problems, issue and obstacles. Bitcoin is our future money and I know bitcoin will never die.
Yes your right, why this currency will die and have no future while it's a big help to everyone. This could never be happen, if we observe its 8 years already in the market but just a 100 million of peole used this, its a good sign that it has a good future like dollars that can also used in other transactions.

I'm sure at this time more people are interested regarding of earning bitcoin because it has a proven that help the daily needs if we exchange to local currency or dollar, addtionally, because it can used to pay in other transaction/buying an items online.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: June 11, 2017, 12:32:42 PM
Many people said the gambling is just a game and another people said it is Investment. How do you think?  Roll Eyes
For me it's a game, and others who said it's an investing, I don't think so because if this is an investing they save the money for nothing, because as far as I know, investing is saving to secure the future

Both of them has money involve but to compare the mission it just the same (they expect a profit)but the result is difference. I think more people are successfull in investing than gambling why? because even we always win in the end it turn to nothing while investing always positive result in the end.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: June 11, 2017, 11:38:24 AM
It's true bitcoin indeed provide income on line for free, this is the site that will provide income that we will collect by preparing escrow before you can do any task so easy to make money

Yeah right, the only they need is time and the internet also. It is free to earn and also free for job. With the uses of bitcoin you can choose what categories did you want to know or study to provide an income. They have trading, investing, signature campaign, and etc. that only need is enough time to manage. Even you have a real job, this will provide an income if you give a time as part time job. Or if full-time you can get more income, just get more information and make more ways to generate a bitcoin, don't focus in just one way to earn this.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin really need an ATM? on: June 11, 2017, 06:47:38 AM
I agree with the idea that bitcoin has its own ATM. It would surely be helpful to all of us. It will also be good if bitcoin will have its own card that we can use to withdraw bitcoin. In our country, there is a single bitcoin ATM machine that exist but it can only be used for buying and selling. I used Paypal card to withdraw converted bitcoin into cash and sometimes I encounter problem in withdrawing. Having an own ATM machine that enables us to withdraw bitcoin directly into converted cash with its own card and without waiting for days of processing will be very helpful.

I just wish that bitcoin will be used by other countries in the future.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: June 11, 2017, 06:06:35 AM
I do not know if you could earn that amount by joining signature campaigns. I think that earning 0.1 BTC is possible in trading and investing but of course you must have to gamble a huge amount of money to be able or to have a chance.

I have been joining ICOs and I think that it is better to have a monthly base income. The rate is not fixed but the price of bitcoin is fluctuating and we can’t say if earning 0.1 BTC or more is possible in this method. Earning that amount by joining signature campaigns is impossible since the rate in this method is not that big.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 01:47:55 AM
What I like best about bitcoin is that I can earn it while just staying at home. I could also earn cash but for me, bitcoin is a really good investment in the future. Other than the earnings, I also like bitcoin because it is very interesting and I learn new things everyday by getting involved in bitcoin. When a friend of mine told me about digital currencies, I did not believe him but when I tried it I realized that the modern technology is very advanced that such things exist.

I believe that bitcoin will play a big part in the future especially that it is being introduced and recognized by many people and countries.
