502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [IPL 2020] Prediction Pool and discussion. Sponsor: on: August 16, 2020, 01:59:14 PM
Hey!
I am joining the pool. I have sent the entry fees: 1abb37ec9fd1538fc46a8044f0293d94bbe7d6ade4b067440e8be97e3fac6c33. However, I feel fees is quite low comparing the amount of money sponsor put in the pool. It should be 0.0025 BTC minimum but that is just my thought. It's always up to community consensus and if everyone feels 0.001 BTC is ok then no problem.

I have read few posts above and everything looks constructive. I very much agree to the points of @akhjob above. About prize distribution, keep it simple. Just distribute 80% of the total pool to the overall winners and 20% to every round winner (2.5% to each winner). Also, keep the number of overall winners to 4 even if less than 10 people join because prize pool is good comparing to entry fees (however, I feel 10+ will join easily).

Also @Royse777, who is the main sponsor, btw?
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinPRBuzz.com's Spanish La Liga Football Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: August 16, 2020, 01:41:03 PM
Being a culer, last couple of days were horrible for me. Can't tell you the mental pressure after seeing my favorite team getting smashed by German Giants by 8 to 2. But now I am ok and ready to support FC Barcelona once again. We won't let our team become Milan and support any kind of revamp team comes up with. Once a culer, always a culer!

Thank you Trofo for coming up with the prediction pool for La Liga. Last year, I joined Premier League pool hosted by hilariousandco but my favorite league is La Liga and prefer it over EPL any day. I can already see 10+ names in OP so it gonna be interesting competition. Beware people, I am La Liga expert and you won't find it easy to end in Top 3 playing with me. Cheesy

Jk aside, consider me in. I will send 0.0025 BTC to that address soon.

Today's tournament will be more interesting than the Championship in my opinion. So many close pointers in the table, this is the closest table has been in all of our three series. I think everyone has learnt how others play and we are reaching a saturation point where everyone is equally good (of-course, except 30K Kriller bitmutiny).

I am pretty sure, the Top 9 we are seeing right now won't be the Top 9 after today's tournament. Moreover, it would be interesting to see who take ITM positions in Championship Finale! I am super excited! Bring it on! Good Luck everyone.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Ways to Hack Bitcoin on: August 14, 2020, 03:43:54 PM
Thank you for this very important post. Through this post we have learned a lot of important information. We hope you will continue to share such important information with us. Through which the whole community will benefit.

Don't make conclusion on every thread before reading replies to the Opening Post. Just go through the replies on the first page and you will find out why this post is utter nonsense. You can't say Bitcoin is hacked when some hackers were able to get the hold of acccounts of some cryptocurrency exchange working on centralized model.

Also, I don't know how OP calculated that $21M figure to perform 51% attack. Don't know if it has anything to do with the supply of bitcoins that OP may have misunderstood.

A very defensive lineup from Simeone. Felix, Morata and Thomas are on bench. Costa alongside Anfield hero will start as the forwards but Leipzig specially need to look after Carrasco. A little space and he can beat the entire defensive line in single dribble.

I am rooting Atletico Madrid. Let 'em show why the Spanish football is best in Europe!

Mbappe has to step out and then I very much think PSG can get 2 goals in second half, Neymar just have to shoot at target.

I have put more money on PSG after 1-0, odds have really become mouth-watering now.

This is really my Champions League guys! Since comeback of CL, I won 15 bets and lost only 3.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 12, 2020, 07:58:54 PM
What's up with Neymar? He's dribbling like Messi but shooting like Morata! The way he's toying with Atalanta defense is kinda funny to see but any how scoredboard says different story and even though PSG outclassed Atalanta tactically in first half, they are still trailing with 1 goal. I think the main reason about that is the other two PSG forwards. Both Icardi and Sarabia disappointed so far. Mbappe has to step out and then I very much think PSG can get 2 goals in second half, Neymar just have to shoot at target.

I have put more money on PSG after 1-0, odds have really become mouth-watering now.

Hey all you pros!  Cool

I got ahold of SwC and just wanted to make sure you are all up for it - Grand Finale next week, August 23rd? Finalists will be manually entered so you won't have to do anything, except being there and give your best. Wink

No Man! Wait! It can't happen on 23rd August. I don't know how many football fans we have in our series but Champions League finale will be on 23rd August. If possible please make this tournament on 22nd. I have chances of making to the finals and I really don't wanna miss.

It's funny how Atalanta didn't even play a single game in last 10 days but odds on Atalanta have been increased from 2.5 to 3.5 on all major Betting Platforms. Mbappe's injury and Atalanta's hot Serie A run had almost made them favorites for the match.

But that fixture against Inter have changed the story. Also Mbappe is fit and may get some minutes if PSG will be in danger. Thirdly, unavailability of Ilicic. Considering everything, I think PSG gonna get past them easily. Anything above 2 for PSG is good odd and definitely worth betting. I am in.

I have contacted wbet7 supports couple of times in past and one of which was recently (I guess 20-25 days ago). They usually reply to email queries within 1 day. I contacted them at around 12PM and got reply next morning around 8-9AM both times.

Also, they usually process my withdrawals instantly. Maybe your amount is bigger or maybe it's because the reason you are stating. In any case, why not sit back and relax. If they are still legit, you will get the payment. If they are scam, sending email by anyone won't matter.

@hilariousetc I didn't follow the thread for long but read your Sportsbet.io sponsoring post. That's a good news, really. So at which entry charges are we seeing consensus at? My vote is for 0.004 BTC per person. It's soft and good spot.

Other rewards are tempting too. $50 in free bets is surely something I would like to grab this season at least once. Cheesy I already got my Watford shirt so maybe won't order another.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Ethereum transaction has been pending for over a month on: August 11, 2020, 03:01:34 PM
I tried to send an Ethereum transaction using https://www.myetherwallet.com/ over 40 days ago. I used a very low fee and seems it was not nearly enough. The transaction is now stuck and says pending. It doesnt look like it will be dropped and I am not sure what to do.

I tried to speed it up by adding more gas through Metamask but every time I do that I get an error in MEW and it fails. I read somewhere that I need to spend the same nonce with more gas for the transaction to be confirmed. I have no idea how to do that. Can someone help?

Has anyone faced similar issues wit stuck Eth transactions that couldnt be spent and how do I solve this?

MyEtherWallet automatically detects if there's pending transaction. So all you need to do is create a new transaction to same address of same amount but with higher fees. If you are doing now, add 135-140 Gwei as fees. Then MEW with broadcast new transaction with same nonce to the network and it will be accepted in block shortly. Once it is accepted in block, your previous transaction will be marked 'Cancelled and Replaced'.

If you have done any transaction after the pending transaction, it will be either pending or dropped. If it is pending, it will be confirmed after your pending transaction is confirmed provided you have added enough fees in that transaction.

Quote
What is going on with the fees and why is an ETH transaction more expensive than a Bitcoin transaction?

DeFi effect! Due to the new trend of DeFi, smart contracts are being readily created on Ethereum network which is slowing down blockchain and you have to pay higher fees. Same happened when dApps initially became hot, CryptoKitties days!

520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 10, 2020, 03:44:50 PM

It may be little sooner but here are my picks for remaining Champions League fun:

Juventus vs Lyon (draw. maybe 1-1 or 2-2)
Man City vs Real Madrid (easy win for Man City)
Bayern vs Chelsea (draw or win for Bayern)
Barcelona vs Napoli (win for Barcelona)

Quarter Finalists (teams I expect to win in bold):
Atalanta vs PSG
Leipzig vs Atletico
Barcelona vs Bayern
Manchester City vs Lyon

So I accurately predicted the quarter-finalists. Some amazing matches were played in Round of 16. Among quarter-finalists, we have:
2 Spanish sides
2 German sides
2 French sides
1 Italian side
and One Team from so-called the best league in the world

This shows how overrated Premier League is. For me, the quality of football is higher in La Liga while the level of competition is higher in Serie A when compared to PL.

Now talking about Quarters,

First Game: I was sure about Atalanta's win till few days ago but now story looks different. The main reason of Atalanta's overwhelming performance was the Deadly Trio of Gomez, Zapata and Ilicic. But due to some undisclosed personal reasons, Ilicic left the Atalanta squad. Him leaving Atalanta's squad is more significant than Mbappe's unavailability for PSG in my opinion. Now I think PSG can win this one. My Prediction: 3-1 in favor of PSG.

Second Game: Atletico will be without their important player Correa due to Coronavirus. He has played all CL games for AM so far this season. However, Leipzig failed to impress post-lockdown, not to forget they are without Timo Werner. In nutshell, easy win for Atletico Madrid.

Third Game: Oh my god! What a game it would be. This is seriously a final material. They are meeting too soon in competition, that's unfair. FC Bayern are clear favorites. But it's Barcelona we are talking about, it's Lionel Messi we are talking about. This one could do some serious damage to bookies as I can see odds are as high are 3.8 on Barcelona. Although they played awful post-lockdown in league but last La Liga game plus pre-quarterfinal were good performances. Other than Messi, Semedo, Lenglet, Rakitic and Frenkie De Jong gave good performances too. Especially Semedo, who made some excellent sprints. It will be 1v1 clash between him and Davies, let see who wins the war of speed. I am routing for Barcelona (more of an emotional decision than the factual) but this can happen very much.

Fourth Game: It's easy, Manchester City. Lyon were lucky to get away from Juventus. Goal advantage at home, lucky away penalty goal and sheer will in defense made them go-past Juve. But Man City are not Juventus. They are City, they are KDB, Sterling, Jesus and who not. Even Man City bench looks more cheerful than Lyon's starting XI. I expect easy win for Man City, they can't lose focus this time.

I am going big with above picks on sportsbooks. Let see how fruitful it going to be.

It has been a lucrative betting session for me. Won 13 bets, lost only 3. I really hope this winning streak continues for me in Quarters too.
