521  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism: Venezuela raises monthly minimum wage to $2.40 on: May 13, 2021, 10:38:48 PM
I would like to reply to The Pharmacist.
Venezuelans buy US dollars in order to alleviate inflation. Most Venezuelans do not have the ability to save, their bank accounts will surely be empty as well as mine.
The adoption of crypto in Venezuela has one of its most important representatives as it is.

https://cryptobuyer.io/es/merchants/

But unfortunately its CEO Jorge Farias died as a result of covid19 last month. Probably the development of his project is slower because of his absence or maybe not. How everyone knows how to adopt cryptocurrencies in any of the scenarios is a long journey.

Venezuelans buy and sell cryptocurrencies on P2P Binance, there are also other platforms such as Cryptoway and Cryptobuyer. I have used all these platforms to sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to make use of my local currency and meet my daily needs every week.

The adoption of the cryptocurrencies that you can see in the videos has been thanks to the efforts of Cryptobuyer and other personalities but it is a small and important part to continue moving forward.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: May 13, 2021, 09:33:52 PM
To be a rich person is to be healthy, have a desire to live, believe in God and be grateful to him.
Because if you have these simple foundations, you are already rich in spirit, which is important to achieve the material wealth that you propose.

There are very rich people who are sick and cannot enjoy their wealth as well as very poor people who without having material wealth are happy. To be rich is to achieve a status in society and know how to handle the wealth obtained with the idea of accumulating more, I have not seen a rich person stop generating wealth.

Fortunately there are rich people who contribute to helping humanity like the ones on this list and like many other people in any corner of the planet who also share their wealth.

Quote

After thinking about wealth, the following leads me to reflection, which is now more latent. It is time for the whole world to commit ourselves to save the planet from the great effects of climate change before it becomes irreversible.
523  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: May 08, 2021, 11:29:18 PM
Although we are fortunate to make use of the digital revolution, it has not been enough to alleviate the economic devastation that Covid19 has caused.
Experience shows us that we must learn to live with the virus until God says or that it would be the same until science manages to make us immune.
If we start to review the events we have not done things well, there are countries that are successful with the fight against the virus, why not others?
524  Economy / Economics / Re: The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin on: May 08, 2021, 10:58:01 PM
IMO, after the governments that are working to implement their CBDC get their systems to function fully. That will be the call for more countries to replicate the experience because ultimately each nation will need its CBDC.
As the world advances, technology is more demanding that is why we are at this point one step away from the domain of digital technology.

On the other hand, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are occupying spaces that previously belonged to financial institutions and banks, so time is short.
525  Economy / Economics / Re: The Modern Mode of Payments on: May 08, 2021, 10:43:09 PM
In my country cryptocurrencies are being introduced little by little. Binance P2P, Cryptoway, Cryptobuyer among others are offering their services to provide users with the most pleasant experience.

OP, I agree that we must teach our friends and family the use of cryptocurrencies and demonstrate its benefits. In fact I am trying, we just need a little patience and choose the easiest method to successfully get more people to join bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

As a curious fact in my city I have heard on the radio of people who offer their services as an advisor in the world of cryptocurrencies, if someone wants to venture into similar work there is a new way to earn extra income.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO CZ Defends Binance Smart Chain's Ethereum Copycats on: May 08, 2021, 10:23:45 PM
I remember there was a stir when SushiSwap appeared on the crypto stage. It was often called a scam project for the same reason we discussed today. Open source is a great idea in my opinion, while we look for solutions to satisfy our needs in crypto, we can say that it is correct. Copyright works but this is not the case, we are realizing the alternatives of open source projects and this is the beginning.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Controls Crypto? on: May 08, 2021, 10:03:30 PM
I agree with how some members think: Governments can declare the use of cryptocurrencies illegal. But I also think that by this time of the game if we speak in sporting terms, it is remotely likely that this will happen.
Cryptocurrencies have entered our countries and citizens have made use of them because we live in freedom. We have not asked the government for permission to do so for the same reason to enjoy freedom the same freedom that was conquered by our ancestors.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? on: May 08, 2021, 09:34:40 PM
I prefer to invest in bitcoin. Because I have seen the benefits of investing in cryptocurrencies. Since we have all had the experience of at least the last four years that have been crucial for bitcoin, we know what to expect.
The world of cryptocurrencies is fascinating and bitcoin represents the great leader that makes the entire market grow by creating opportunities. Hoping that any time some development will show solutions for bitcoin users.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Metromile plans to adopt Bitcoin on: May 08, 2021, 09:08:16 PM
Excellent! This is how we prepare for the massive adoption of bitcoin. Metromile has taken the first step, decentralized finance is marking a before and after in the economy, indicating that in decentralization there are solutions to take and explore.
There are great indications that in the USA there will be more companies adopting bitcoin as well as Pomp is convinced that bitcoin is adopted in the American nation.
530  Economy / Economics / Re: April 2021 set a new record India. How much effect in Indian economy? on: May 08, 2021, 12:06:51 AM
The cause of India's second wave is that its population simply did not continue to use biosafety protocols. India felt that it had countered the virus by observing the low incidences of infected people. Politicians and religious called meetings and events without taking the rigorous precautions such as social distance and wearing masks, which caused a sad consequence of a high number of infections and with a new, more aggressive and lethal variant of covid19.

531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: May 07, 2021, 11:22:04 PM
Covid19 is very dangerous and contagious. Without a doubt we must be careful and know how to live with it. If we follow the Biosafety protocol we can prevent the virus from spreading. Because it harms our economic environment we need to leave home to meet our needs, people also need to go to their jobs because otherwise we would be collapsing the economy.
Spreading the payments with cryptocurrencies is a good idea and could be a payment alternative this could be the best time for the payments in cryptocurrencies to expand.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Latin American e-commerce giant bought $ 7.8 million worth of bitcoins on: May 07, 2021, 11:06:15 PM
OMG! This is great news! I bought my first SmartPhone last year at MercadoLibre in Venezuela. Because it is a wide e-commerce network in Latin America. When I chose my phone, I offered the seller to pay in bitcoin and he accepted, in view of his positive response, I preferred to pay him in ethereum for the transaction time and the cheaper fees that he also accepted.

It is unavoidable! One day it will happen to more businesses around the world. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are here to stay and contribute to improving economies in any corner of the planet.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 07, 2021, 10:45:07 PM
I also agree, guys! Satoshi's character has little historical data to give him life in a movie. Unless the emotions are collected for each line that he wrote in bitcointalk and the times that he shared email with the other personalities that he maintained close communication so that the writers can create a character based on his ideas and temperament. That was the reality of him, an enigmatic and brilliant man. I think we will be satisfied if the story is based on real events.
For my part, I would love to see a good movie about Satoshi in his honor because without a doubt he will be the most important man of the 21st century as bitcoin becomes more popular and it has allowed the development of a new economy with cryptocurrencies.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto kings and queens: Who are they? on: May 06, 2021, 11:49:28 PM
Certainly OP, this list of Kings and Queens in the crypto space is spot on. As much as that of Satoshi Nakamoto that he was the architect for the crypto revolution to take place. He was bolder in creating bitcoin because the stream of ideas in cryptography was starting the engines.

My favorites are CZ from Binance and Vitalik from Ethereum because I learned about crypto with their products. It has been hard and unstoppable work that they have done because this technology is unstoppable and demanding.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My feelings after 11 years with crypto. on: May 06, 2021, 11:31:29 PM
Don't be discouraged brother. The circumstance of life made you lose your way. No matter how wealthy others are, you still have your chance with bitcoin. If you still believe in bitcoin your thinking could be as optimistic as these analyzes. Stay on board with bitcoin because you deserve it.

536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you heard about Bitcoin vs. When you first used Bitcoin on: May 06, 2021, 11:07:12 PM
I identify with some of your comments as seriously thinking about investing in bitcoin in 2017. It also took me a while, my preference was always ethereum. But today the cryptocurrency market is different, although the risk is present, there is a better chance of winning at least $ 100 for saying some amount.

Now I invest in bitcoin, ethereum, and other altcoin. As Elon Musk once said in a tweet: "It was inevitable." That we can attribute it to the fact that sooner or later bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will be part of our lives. This is what will happen shortly when the massive adoption arrives.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Football clubs and bitcoins on: May 06, 2021, 01:57:32 PM
After reading the article and it was in the news in 2018, it fills me with joy for the important initiative of eToro to create alliances linked to Marketing so that soccer adopts bitcoin and blockchain technology is a long way as they affirm, because implementing a new one technology requires consensus, effort and development for the best use of it.

It is worth noting that this agreement was thanks to Tottenham Hotspur who are lovers of innovation and new technologies. On the other hand, eToro is established as the first company to pay for a Premier League partnership in bitcoin.

Tottenham Hotspur are among seven Premier League clubs to sign marketing deals with cryptocurrency trading platform eToro.

Spurs, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, Cardiff City, Leicester City and Southampton will collect sponsorship money from the platform in bitcoin.

538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: May 06, 2021, 12:01:50 AM
The experience that OP is living is totally frecuent. There are many people who are realizing that it is better to invest in cryptocurrencies than to invest in banks and they have migrated their money to investing in bitcoin and altcoins.
The future of Banks is uncertain every time they lose their savers, we still do not know what will be the effect they will receive as cryptocurrencies are the ones that users prefer.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in bitcoins for future kids on: May 05, 2021, 11:43:26 PM
Invest in bitcoin and altcoins for today and forever. We are seeing the future of finance as the new way of life. Investing in bitcoin for the future of children is a good idea. I am a defender of this idea, I do not think it is a waste of time. The use cases of bitcoin are to be taken advantage of, whatever it is will be showing great utility.
The current time we live in this way deserves it, fortunately we are aware of it.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which other company will support Bitcoin next? on: May 01, 2021, 11:40:09 PM
I also feel like you to the expectations of which other giant in the industry could invest their capital in bitcoin.
Whichever it is, it's welcome. The future is written bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, decentralization and digital finances are leading our days and there is little time left for it to be on a large scale.
