521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: December 08, 2018, 08:06:07 AM
Of course I try to keep most of the coins, but of course if I see a bad project I try to sell it quickly , but the promising coins I keep and wait when the price is high
I am also collecting the coins and I am not selling any of my coin as I do not collect the coins of those project about which I am doubtful. I get all the reviews of the projects in which I invest and keep them till the good time will come in crypto market. Because in the past I have seen many coins/tokens had become huge hits after the downfall of bitcoin market in 2014.

Similarly why not we can expect same thing to happen for bitcoin as well as for all other crypto currencies too. Collecting right now and simply holding them by not worrying will definitely get us big profits when the entire market turns into a positive.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: December 08, 2018, 06:52:09 AM
I want to know how you relate the risks to profits?
What is the determining factor for you to sell or buy coins?
How many of you are trading short-term?

If I believe in a coin/project, I hold as long as I need to. If I no longer believe in a project, I'll sell. However, I'll never sell at a loss unless it's to reinvest into a better project.

How do I determine if a project is good? See if the team is actually working. Is there a wallet, are they updating the wallet, what are they working on, are they meeting deadlines, etc. So many crypto projects release nothing and people buy their coin anyway.
I was also aware of the risk involved in the cryptocurrencies but I was also aware that if we will not take the risk then we will not be rich. Here I came for becoming rich and so I took the risk. I know that in crypto the risk is only the long time wait after which we will see the price at a higher peak.

Unlike any other markets, we can eliminate the risk associated with crypto currencies simply by holding it for long term. If you are not ready to hold for long term then you should not go for investing in crypto currencies. I believe only crypto currencies are promising for big returns in long-term whereas many shares and stocks are not getting big value even in long term.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not buy Ethereum on: December 08, 2018, 06:17:05 AM
Most likely ethereum prices will drop very low in the next few days, I think bitcoin is very good to buy now, because it is very suitable for holding or seeking long-term profits.

That bitcoin that Ethereum are fundamental coins, I think of course to invest in bitcoin well but will not bring as much money as Ethereum!
I think these both are better for investment when the market will be up then both of the coins will rise in value so if you want to invest in Bitcoin then it is also a good option and investment in ethereum will also bring the same profit. But simply investing will not help anyone to make big profits. We must invest right now and more importantly we must be ready to hold for years so that we can get multiple returns for our money.

By considering the potential of bitcoin no investor does not need to go for multiple options, just investing only with bitcoin also will help them to make big profits. This may sound like not compatible with diversification principles but bitcoin will never disappoint any investor in long term basis.
524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: December 07, 2018, 07:54:05 AM
There are a lot of companies calling me at least every 2 days to ask me if i am into trading and if not why not and why i don't and so on..
Is there any kind of entertainment if doing online investments or trading?
Enlighten me!
What exactly do you mean by entertainment? Anyone who sees business as an entertainment is not ready yet. I don’t see why anyone should be having fun while they are meant to take things very serious. And how exactly did they get your email address? You must have signed up for it, cause there is no way they can get your email and be sending you mails if you never signed up for their newsletter.
525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Panic! on: December 07, 2018, 07:16:24 AM
Swiss Bitcoin ETF has been approved and SEC ETF will be approved in December and there is BAKKT coming in December 12th, Bitcoin will Bull Run this year, this price drop was a dump in order to push prices down than they will rebuy it and the price will rebounce very strongly forcing a bull run, otherwise people wont have force to push price high, after this rebounce everyone will talk about BTC and the bull run will be the longest in history(1BdgaR4mWNbDckDqnC1PqLxS26Y1PFiN4h)!
I just hope that all these risks I have been taking all this while will be worth it when all this finish. But I won’t say I haven’t gained anything so far, last year was good for me, but this year isn’t, hope this year gets cause I’m really getting pissed. Thought the bull run would have come all this while, though my mind kept telling it wouldn’t, cause it’s just few months then (now a year). But I will keep waiting.
526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ways of making money in crypto currency on: December 07, 2018, 06:17:19 AM
Trading crypto currency is believed to be profitable and lucrative business only to those who have the trading skill. Apart from trading and participating in signature campaign is there any other lucrative ways in which one can make money that is less capital intensive in crypto currency?
Trading is a good way to earn money, but there are risks involved and you also need to study it very well if you don’t want to be losing much. Another can be mining, whether you mine it yourself or you make use of cloud mining, they are both good, but mining by yourself might seem a better option if electricity cost is not a problem. Some might choose ptc and faucets but I don’t like those.
527  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: December 05, 2018, 07:20:25 AM
What are your opinions?

For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!

I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.

It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!)  It can be scary.
So to you does that look like being stable? Falling from $6,900 to $4,000 and you call that being stable? It is not stable, it is still volatile and this is how it will be fluctuating till it starts to go up again. The same way it went down you will see it go up that same way and reach high price.

I don’t think this market can ever be stable, this is how it will keep on fluctuating and that’s why it’s called investment, because there is always risk involved.
528  Economy / Economics / Re: Would blockchain technologies continue Its development without cryptocurrency? on: December 05, 2018, 06:45:21 AM
As we all know chain block technologies are the foundation of the cryptocurrency and chain block technologies can develop without the cryptocurrency.

Is this possible happen in the future? If so, how?
A lot of people think that Blockchain is only meant for cryptocurrency, while it is indeed meant for much more than that. There are lots of things that the world can do with blockchain apart from using as a payment option.

Blockchain can be used to create a decentralized market, decentralized internet, smart contracts, encrypted messaging, authenticated voting and a lot things you can do with them, more than I can even remember. So Blockchain is not only for making payments.
529  Economy / Economics / Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy on: December 05, 2018, 06:10:05 AM
I see in my country many marriages at a young age and don't think about the economy in the future,
I know getting married at a young age is very beautiful,
but if the economy is insufficient, maybe should think again not to get married at a young age,
and I think from that marriage it can give birth to children and increase the population of the earth, and maybe in a few years the earth will be full of humans and surely there will be many other crimes to survive on this earth,

Is there a solution, to overcome this impending disaster
Not if the kids family is rich. There are people whose family are rich and they are free to do anything and when they get married their parents will be the one to sponsor everything and start up a big business for them. It can only lead to poverty when your parents are not well to do, lol.

Well, I won’t advise anyone to get married at a young age, it’s best to go out and see the world, get the experience, open up a business or get a job and stop relying on anyone and get married when you’re matured enough and sure that you can take care of your family.
530  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: December 04, 2018, 06:10:14 AM
Hey,

Looking to get some ideas from people so let me begin by explaining my situation:

- I initially invested around $3000 just over a year ago in crypto, which is now currently worth about $1000 (2/3rd loss). I've written this off/left it and am a firm believer the market will one day recover, be it short or long term.
- I then stopped investing early this year.
- I now have opportunity to save/invest $1000 each month (after all my bills and everything are paid for).
- I have $5000 saved in cash as emergency in case I need it.

How would you invest the $1000? Or would you just save it all, or only invest a bit of it each month based on market behaviour? What coins are good to look into investing slowly, with the belief they'll give the best returns if the market properly goes into a bull run?
Bitcoin is mainly what we focus on when we talk about bull run, so if you need a coin to buy and Hodl for a long time then it’s mean to be Bitcoin, but not just Bitcoin. There are good altcoins out there and most of them are really cheap that you can buy a lot of coins with just the $1000 and keep them and watch them grow. But bitcoin is a target you shouldn’t miss, since the bull can come at anytime, maybe next year.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: December 04, 2018, 05:40:23 AM
Hello everyone, please write 5-10 cryptocurrencies in which you would invest, invest now or will invest for a long time. By long I mean from 3-5 years to 10. Except Bitcoin.

My list is:
1. Ethereum
2. Stellar
3. Monero
4. Zcash
5. 0x
Maybe:
6. Siacoin
7. Qtum
8. Lisk
9. Dash
I don’t know why anyone would avoid mentioning Bitcoin on their list, that’s your business though, but bitcoin is really one of the best cryptocurrency anyone would invest in.

In fact it is always the best thing and the number one in the market. There are others too as the list goes on with ETH, LTC, XRP, XLM, XMR, ADA, NEO, ZEC and a lot of them. But BTC will always be on the top of the list and you’re sure to make profit from a long term investment in it.
532  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: December 04, 2018, 05:01:01 AM
Which one would you prefer or best to earn? As far as i have come across, crypto is the best platform to have good earnings. We have many who have a good experience on it and still into it without a regular job. Many have left their main job after experiencing double income from crypto. Many have become millionaire and have changed their lifestyles. Which one would be the best to have good crypto earnings?
I do know that trading is very risky, but I don’t see the reason why anyone would choose to waste their money in gambling instead of looking for something more reasonable, and I also don’t mean to upset the gamblers here cause I’m just saying my mind.

Instead of gambling you do other things that can help you earn, even campaigning is much better since you have nothing to lose. Mining is also good if you can afford the cost (if not, then cloud mining).
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How altcoins change your life? on: December 03, 2018, 06:40:22 AM
I came across to bitcoin discussion section and found out threads about how bitcoin change their life. It was known that bitcoin has literally change lives of others who were able to participate and join in any form that which they could profit bitcoins. However, I was curios also if it is possible that users here in the forum has change their life through altcoin.

Altcoins is a short cut term for alternative coins. This is base on my understanding as to what I have read and learn it from others. Due to the numbers of existing altcoins in the market I bet that there could be an altcoin who made one to change his life by earning huge profit.

Though altcoins have huge difference when it comes to the market cap of bitcoin, but still it could be profitable a certain individual who follow that altcoin. So, how does altcoin change your life?
I haven’t seen anyone say that altcoin changed their life, but I still think altcoins are worth investing cause you’re still going to make some money from investing in altcoins. The reason with a lot of people benefiting from Bitcoin is because it is different, and the bull run that happened in 2017 really helped a lot of people to make a big profit more than they expected.

And also those that bought bitcoin earlier in 2009 or so are the ones who benefited from it,and they are mainly people you see saying their life changed through Bitcoin. It doesn’t work for everyone.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only? on: December 03, 2018, 06:10:53 AM
Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?
That doesn’t sound like a good idea to me. If they should be paying bounty hunters in Bitcoin and Ethereum, then what’s the need of the promotion they are doing? For their project to be successful they need issue out their own coins. Take for example we have Square Bet (don’t know if that’s the name though)and they issue a coin called SB coin.

I would like to see them offer payment in Bitcoin, but what I’m trying to say is that doing so wouldn’t benefit the company. So they got issue out their own coin, if you think the coin would turn to have no value later, then exchange it quickly when you can.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: December 03, 2018, 05:39:58 AM
With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?
I don’t think so, a lot of us who buy altcoins still have Bitcoin. Everyone buy Bitcoin before talking about altcoins, and I haven’t seen anyone holding only altcoins.

So that means that Bitcoin is still reigning. BTC controls the whole cryptocurrency market and is in the lead all the time, I don’t see any altcoin getting better than it is now, though some are predicting Ripple will take its place, but don’t forget that same thing was said of Ethereum but it never happened. Bitcoin remains the best.
536  Economy / Economics / Re: Can virtual wallets be confiscated by courts? on: December 01, 2018, 06:33:11 AM
I am just curious and have been googling on whether the law has rules about virtual wallets. Maybe I am just not really familiar with the technical terms so I do not understand well. Or I just didn't use the correct search terms.
To give an example, if you have debts or have to pay for alimony or something of the like, are virtual wallets included in your assets to be seized or something?
According to the summary of this article: https://www.acamstoday.org/real-considerations-for-law-enforcement-in-seizing-virtual-currency/
"The bottom line for law enforcement is that they cannot seize virtual currency if they do not recognize it and do not know where to look. Even if evidence of virtual currency is found, unless law enforcement is equipped with the knowledge and the tools to take secure possession of it, then it will not happen and criminals will keep their ill-gotten gains."
So does that mean that the law will not touch your virtual wallet in case of debt, for example?

Yes they can confiscate your cryptocurrency if they are aware of it, it’s possible. Whether crypto assets are legal or illegal in your country, I believe the government can always confiscate it. It only gets worst when it is illegal in your country, cause you will also be punished severally for holding an asset that has been declared as illegal by the government of your country. In a place where it is legal, they won’t confiscate it if they are not aware you are in possession of cryptocurrency. Hope I gave the right answer to your question.
537  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: December 01, 2018, 06:03:12 AM
If everyone around the world gets into cryptocurrency, do you think it will even help in solving or lessen socioeconomic problems? Can it be used to buy goods from other countries? It is fair to say that crypto will help a lot of people but what will it do to one's country? Will it help improve a country's economy?
Did you just say ‘everyone in the world gets into crypto?’… so what would they be doing exactly? Buy crypto and relax at home and watching it grow or work on campaigns. That’s funny. Things like this is what ruins cryptocurrency. Because you all now believe that cryptocurrency is a way to make quick money, that’s why everyone comes here talking about bull run and topics that are not adding up. Bitcoin can’t solve your problems, if you want to solve your problems then get to work.
538  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: December 01, 2018, 05:22:26 AM
What do you think will happen with the cryptocurrency in the future?
We don’t really know yet, but a lot of people are starting to say that the next coming bull will be the last and after that Bitcoin wouldn’t be something worth investing anymore or maybe it will just become stable. And they said that the next bull is going to be a huge one.

I’m not really going to take that, I believe that Bitcoin is here to stay for good, but trust me there is going to be a lot of competition and I don’t know if Bitcoin can keep up in future, cause something else is likely to take over.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is BTC dead on: November 29, 2018, 11:00:24 AM
No, it's not dead!It is just that market is in downfall. It needs time to grow and pump. Some people are trying the bitcoin down by spreading FUD over the internet. Let fight for bitcoin!
It is a lot hard for some people to actually wrap their minds around, considering that the market so far as it is, pretty much is giving a lot of fear in the minds of those who joined FOMO, but the thing is that rather than realizing their mistakes and knowing how to approach the market better, they are busy seeing a dead market and that is how they will keep missing good chances over and over again, and the only thing they will keep end up doing is to join FOMO at every point in time. This is just a downtrend, and for a market that is new, volatility should be expected, and it is nothing new. As time goes on, the market will recover, and over time, it will serve its usefulness.
540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where next? Up or down! on: November 19, 2018, 10:25:17 AM
maybe down is still a trend now, there is no sign of a trend to increase because now the market is in a low position and it cannot be used as a benchmark for price increases. so just hope that by the end of December this could be an increase like last 2017.
I believe that the market is not going to decline anymore and will rather rise in future as there have been great speculations about it lately and will in addition get boomed if the good investors invest big.
Who even cares about any belief at this point in time? Either the market declines the more or not, those who want to worry about it for nothing are doing so at their own peril because whether they like it or not, they will let their emotions and panic rule them to a point where they miss out eventually.

For those who are smart, they already have a good plan to approaching the market, and even if the market decides to go a lot lower than it is now, they pretty much know it is something they want to be taking advantage of by buying, so in such scenario, no problem at all even if the market declines more.
