Teenager - Oops, 1

Trying To Put Words - I never tried to put any words in your mouth. I didn't force you to believe me, or even reply to me.

There's a difference - Oh, what is it?

Proper cause - By that I mean, killing animals for sport is terrible. Did I grow up hunting? Yes. But I never laid a hand on a animal that I wanted to kill for fun.

For Animal Rights - Don't you mean, not breathing out Carbon Dioxide? I mean, there's a surplus of oxygen as long as we have plants. Hahaha.

In your post you were stating that there's a, well, let me quote it:

"There's a huge difference between killing animals that we've killed for extremely long time for food and killing domesticated animals, that have been known to show emotion and incredible personalities.

What's the difference?

Boom. 6 in a row, as you may say.
Hahahaha, trying to use my own techniques against me aint gonna work. Bolded up the parts that made me laugh the most. Smiley
The difference is that the animals we've killed for an extremely long time have been used to supply people with food. Rest assured that the drowned dog was not eaten afterwards.

Rekt.

I stopped putting ads in my signature when I realized it makes me look similar to those who just spam for money. Many people would complain that they can't spam for their $50/month that they get from signature ads, but in the long run it'd be much better for bitcointalk.

BTW I get more around $100-200.

The amount isn't the point nor the topic of this thread, it's the spam that it creates.

Why not only allow Full Members + to have a signature in the first place?

Why should Members and below be blocked from having a signature because people are spamming due to signature ads?

Or maybe not allowed to have a link.

Truthfully there is no medium. Its either get half of the forum pissed, or get the other half.
Who is pissed now then? If the mods hadn't noticed a significant decrease in spam when they changed the signature rules, they would've changed it back straight away, no?

There is a slight difference but not big enough. Right now the people in this thread who are anti-ads are pretty pissed.
No offense, but that seems to be a them-problem. They actually made a change based on just 1 persons proposal, made it happen very quickly too. They don't have the right to be pissed imho.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Spending bitcoin on Amazon: when will it happen? on: April 20, 2014, 07:39:26 PM
I love bitcoin and all, but why would you want to use it to buy stuff on Amazon?
Because Amazon is such a huge market, and of course we want bitcoins to be accepted by as many traders and businesses around the world as possible? It increases it's value, makes it mainstream and allows other people to benefit from the technological advantages over other currencies!

That doesn't really answer my question. A credit card is faster, safer, and gives me a cash back bonus.
When they implement (if) the system I'll sure they'll have thought it through, making the sales smooth. I don't understand how using a credit card is safer, though?

Chargeback, fraud protection, no need to worry about wallet security. Bitcoin has some drawbacks to the consumer and I want a discount in compensation for using it. It's a boon to merchants in some ways, they need to share the rewards.
Why do you have to worry more about your wallet than your credit card?

most probably not, if it has not been solved by now it's most probably gone for eternety don't you think?

Depends I suppose, how long is eternity?
Shouldn't that be about… 10000 years?

I wonder how many of you animal lovers here are vegans? Yeah, killing puppies for fun isn't nice, and people get really upset about dogs, but hypocritically usually don't mind killing other animals.

I'm not going to lie. I'm a full-force Omnivore.

This is what a vegan is, if people didn't know:

A vegan does not eat meat, poultry, fish, eggs or dairy products.

If you're eating something, 99% of the time it's dead. We're always going to kill something, that being meat, poultry, or fish. Or taking something from a animal, as in eggs or milk.

Vegans eat vegetation, just like vegetarians, no? Something is always going to die. Anybody would be a hypocrite to say that everything they eat was not killed. I agree with some standards of animals being killed. But I rather not them experience animal cruelty, injustice, or anything a long the lines. (For example, the man who tried to kill his dog because he believed it wasn't heterosexual?)

I think Veganism is generally a conscious decision about purposely not eating, using or consuming anything that has directly caused harm, distress or death to an animal, but are you trying to make a point that plants etc have been killed or just that somewhere down the line in consuming them an animal will have died inadvertently?

The saddest part is that I guess I'm saying both.

I wonder how many of you animal lovers here are vegans? Yeah, killing puppies for fun isn't nice, and people get really upset about dogs, but hypocritically usually don't mind killing other animals.
There's a huge difference between killing animals that we've killed for extremely long time for food and killing domesticated animals, that have been known to show emotion and incredible personalities. There definitely exists a hierarchy in the value of animal lives to humans, I'm not gonna be the one to deny that. Also a significant difference is torturing an animal to death and killing it in a procedure, painlessly.

And before you tell me that there are poor living conditions for cows and pigs and such on farms all over the world, yes there are, but that also tends to get people upset, just like killing dogs.

The hell are you talking about? EVERY animal and EVERY living thing has emotions. That's like saying, "It's okay to kill people of a particular culture, since many of them have died anyway." Pigs have emotions. Cows.  By the way, most pigs and cows and other farm animals are domesticated. If the animal isn't, that doesn't give you a lot of right to kill it without proper cause.
And here we go, the classical teenager activist who loves putting words into the mouth of people with different opinions. Sigh  Roll Eyes

When did I say other animals didn't have emotions? Lol that's right - boom.
There's a difference between "domesticated" animals in the sense cattle and pets. - Oh yeahhh.
When did I say we have 'the right' to kill any living being in the world? - 3 in a row.
Without the proper cause? How about being able to eat and providing people with food? If you wanna take a stand for the environment and animal rights I guess you could end your own life, to not breathe their oxygen. Hahahaha.

Not sure if this is outdated info now, but:

The way activity is calculated:
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every 30 minutes.
The formula is accurate, altho way to complicated and just does more harm than good when linking to people asking about activity, haha.

This thread should be on top , i got this link from some wheres else . and it help a lot .
Yes now they need to do this thread as sticky because its very helpful for all new and old members for all signature campaigns

I respect the OP but please mods, don't sticky this. Signature ads cause enough trouble anyway.

Mods aren't going to sticky this.
Course they won't. Signature campaigns have nothing to do with the forum itself.

Precisely my thoughts, that was more because the thread is quite big and well-known.
It is indeed, and it's very useful. But people will probably find it without it being stickied. Smiley
552  Other / Off-topic / Re: (competition) bitcoin prison ~ win .25btc on: April 20, 2014, 07:23:52 PM
haha... even though polycoin "cheated", at least he introduced people to bitcoin.  maybe he deserves the .25 coin Smiley
Well he definitely put the most effort into this. I would love if OP didn't give him any money though.

why is that?
I was gonna say because he cheated, but then again the rules didn't state that you couldn't create new accounts.
Nevermind.

Islam said gold and silver has value and they where right, if islam really says that bitcoin is Islamic then it must be good.....
I can already picture the headlines in the american newspapers.
"BITCOINS BEHIND 9/11. CRYPTO CURRENCY USED BY THE TERRORISTS IN THEIR WAR AGAINST FREEDOM."

Maybe you should take a look at sharks and tourism conspiracy theories that passes for journalism in 'intelligent' muslim news papers before bitching and moaning Smiley
Hm? Butthurt American is trying to prove what point? Give some examples, please do. Smiley Smiley

So here is a video if a Bosnian girl throwing live puppies into a river and she received no punishment for it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/31/girl-sparks-animal-activi_n_701011.html

The Video is very graphic but it's important to see the Evil that exists in some "Humans"

When i see stuff like this i wonder what purpose is there for a human to remain alive after committing such an insane act? Another vile Scum that came to mind when i seen this Video is Michael Vick Remind me again why he is allowed to live and not face the death penalty?

Rub her down with hamburger and drop her into an enclosure full of hungry (Insert dog of your choice.)

My $.02.

Wink
Depending on how well raised the dogs are they might just end up licking her, rather than eating her.
I'd suggest hammering nails under all her toe and finger nails, grabbing her tongue and ripping it out
with the root.

558  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: April 20, 2014, 07:18:10 PM
everyone above is confirmed.
Payments happen on the 1st of the month for the previous month. Unlike other programs, we pay you all on time every time.
We will even give you the Time you can expect to be paid by!!!
No need to enrol  every month, as it is all automatic. We always do check on posts and signatures etc. So anyone trying to scam will be caught.

The big switch is on to
Ritz signature program..
So I will not have to post my post count again?
Well, that's convenient! Tongue

Yep, no need to do anything just post constructive posts. And leave the signature as is. Cannot be easier than that.

Anyone can post in other topics. It doesn't have to be just in the gambling area.

Seen this in some other signature campaigns, posts in giveaway threads and contests are deducted from the total. Do you have that policy too?

I think you're right, but who will be the first to pop one?
