Until we can login or get more info on their website then everything is just speculation.
I can see their argument, a small company will have little staff over the holidays apart from routine running, so if they got hacked over the break then I can see the best thing to do would be to shut it down for a week.
Russian only payments seems illogical from a technical perspective, so that is strange.
Think we can do nothing, and not really speculate with any certainty, until we can login. Fingers crossed that won't take too long for them to sort out, even if there's no payments, we can see what it happening with the site.

Wow, this is really hopeful. They closed their email accounts, website is down past their own self-imposed deadline (which was ridiculously long for relaunching a website), and no news directly from Hashprofit to their customers in over a week. What about this does not look like it is a complete scam? Do we need to bring up the fake pictures that they were using?

Your probably best off buying amazon gift cards and then buying the surface pro 3 from them
Thanks for the suggestion. Does anybody have a good deal on Amazon gift cards? Have you looked into https://app.purse.io? I don't know if there is an upper limit on the amount of BTC you can spend, but it worked fine for me in the past with two small orders.
Edit: I would be very careful if you are thinking about buying Amazon gift card codes. There are a lot of scams on the forum for giftcards and I doubt a legit seller would offer a price lower than what they could get otherwise. Edit2: I wasn't aware of any problems with purse.io, but after a quick search I found the following: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=897568.0 Disregard my previous endorsement of purse.io, it's not worth the risk in my opinion.

I am reposing this here as a FYI to others. Hashprofit is not a ponzi and i will give 1btc to anyone that can prove it is,me thinks my money is safe
You may want to acknowledge that you were wrong here and cap the number of people claiming this against you. Otherwise you will end up dealing with something like this, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140654.

I am posting a copy of my claim against coinmaster222 here as well. It's the 5th and the website is still down. No emails or other information from hashprofit directly. Hashprofit is not a ponzi and i will give 1btc to anyone that can prove it is,me thinks my money is safe
Since the site is gone I will claim the 1btc DDoS attack really? Sending message will cost 0.03 BTC really? 1QEjRStFQSxPdM4QVMEgZxGNfSPL5zNMuh Thanks I second this one, but I am only asking for the 0.83555 BTC that Hashprofit scammed out of me. farm payments update:
Shares rate will use today event exchange rate (3K0 with 8% and 49% discounts). DUAL MODs current conversion rate is published on account page.
Each Farm share pays equivalent of 63kHs.
Why is everyone posting the top info without the actual number? "Total: 0.01248679 LTC / 7 days / 1 ASIC Share" is the important part. Let's hope payments start coming in soon.

I noticed the other main thread on Hashprofit.com was locked. So, it seemed fitting to start a service/scam thread. Feel free to post any updates or comments about the ongoing website outage. This looks to be a short lived scam. Anyone who has additional information on the individuals or company behind this scam feel free to post it here.

Chris sure seems to be making attempts and putting in work to get ltcgear back to its former glory. At first I thought he was just going to scam us but not I am not so sure. He might have actually suffered from a hack. I mean why go through all this trouble redoing the website putting up support forms etc if your going to just scam people (like PBmining said Ill "try" my best with no results thusfar compared to Chris)
He's been putting in a decent amount of work. No scammer would even waste the time with it. I agree but many people who bought shares with Paypal are likely contemplating filing charge backs in the next week or two if nothing changes with the payments (regardless of the final outcome of LTCgear).

Is paypal an option through your website or are you only accepting Bitcoin right now?

|

Interesting What was that all about?

i skipped a lot of posts but didnt find info on this. did anyone NOT recieve payments last week? if a lot did not, will we get payed twice next week?
It should be in one larger payment. My payout was missing two weeks ago and I got paid double last week. Nothing received for this week for me.

I guess it is useless to report missing affiliate payments since no one has received them. O, well .

I've just created an auction on eBay for 25 x Cryptolator Unchained Copper: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251771444641Starting at 199$ for 25 Coins, making them 8$ each (Which is BTW, bellow my cost...) So if you want some really high quality coins (And I mean, the highest quality of all Physical Cryptocurrency Coins) for a very low price, this is your chance ! If I can sell all the coins that I have left, I'll be able to proceed in creating the next series, which will be awesome if I can make it happen ! So, the future of Cryptolator is in your hands, if you like my work, go ahead and buy them ! bid placed, come on let's see a new design for 2015 !

I would say no need to risk logging in until https is working. It looks like all of the old BTC and LTC addresses were returned. Dual Mods are not showing up at all, so I doubt a quick payout for this week if the system is this far behind. I am more concerned with the final affiliate payouts.

|
|
2fa not working, https not working, but my original BTC and LTC addresses reappeared on their own. So, things are moving in the right direction. Let's all hope for a solid multiplication and payouts tomorrow .

Since you are here, can you explain briefly why fake Morgans are off limits and PAMP Suisse bars are okay? You don't owe an explanation to anyone, but I am curious why you would sell these and still be against others selling fake Morgans on Bitcointalk. As Tecshare has explained 30 times in this thread, ... I have been following this thread. The reason I asked this question is I thought hearing from johnniewalker himself would give this thread some closer on the topic.
