542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest bitcoin transaction that you have waited? on: December 03, 2016, 12:55:02 PM
A few months ago I think about more than 6 months ago I faced the same issue and that was not a much higher amount but I was only sending about 0.12 BTC to one of my exchange address and for that I wait about more than 24 hours I was wonder that why is it happening but after coming here on this forum I found from one of the post that the crowd of transactions is much higher in these hours that is why that delay is occurring.

Can you tell me more about the hours where crowd of transactions are in ?
It would be a great information to tell here Smiley

As for longest transactions,
I didn't really ever have a long transactions as I would always put my fee to highest amount possible, maybe mine was set around 150 satoshi/byte
The longest one took me about 3 hours to confirm but that rarely happen Wink
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Friendly Countries on: December 03, 2016, 12:36:47 PM
Here's list of all of the laws of bitcoin in each country :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country

And by skimming quickly through that list I think Japan is the one that recognizes bitcoin as digital currency Smiley
You can even pay your utility bills using bitcoin Wink

544  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Minecraft: Use and earn bitcoin inside the game on: November 30, 2016, 10:53:26 AM
*sigh*

Like all the other "Earn money while you play" schemes on the internet, this server basically functions like a faucet. It pays you barely a couple of cents for hours of playtime.

Never mix work with pleasure. There's a huge difference.

Actually mixing work with pleasure is a good thing. If you enjoy your work you will be successful. What's the point on doing work that you dont get excited about or that is fun ? I wouldn't want to live that way that is for sure.

I would agree with JasonXG. It is just a matter of enjoying work, no matter how you do it. Smiley

But you most likely won't enjoy the result of your work though.

As Decoded says, it's just a faucet combined with Minecraft. Don't expect to earn much from it, in fact the cost of running your PC and Internet would be bigger than what you would earn from it.

Nonetheless, it's great for educational purposes to teach kids about bitcoin Wink
545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which bitcoin mixer is your favorite? on: November 30, 2016, 07:21:15 AM
Bitmixer is by far the best and has been proven to be a legit mixer Smiley

Just make sure you have visited the correct website (there are phishing website made looked like bitmixer) and to always save the Letter of Guarantee, it's the only thing that can save you in case a problem appears Wink
546  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $450 www.kohls.com cash - Buy it for $200 on: November 30, 2016, 04:49:56 AM
"buyer send payment first"

Nope, wouldn't work in here since you're a newbie you need to use a reliable escrow.

P.S 450usd gift card for 200usd smells like a big scam Roll Eyes
547  Economy / Services / Re: I'm looking for VPN service with Bitcoin payment on: November 29, 2016, 02:39:31 PM

548  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advcash Bitcoin Card service can lost money on: November 29, 2016, 02:26:38 PM
If you need a new Bitcoin Debit Card, try to use spectrocoin never had any problem with their card or their website Wink
Are you sure about spectrocoin check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669877.0 i think this one haven't solved yet.
Also check trust rating of this account  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=317543 who seem to be behind spectrocoin.

Talking about advcash they seem to have made excuses regarding account verification and account limitation here http://advcash.com/en/faq/
Quote
In certain cases related to certain transactions, verification and/or additional verification may be requested according to our security and fraud prevention practices.

I am using cryptopay cards which also have limitation for non-verified members but they haven't asked any verification in middle. Also there are other bitcoin debit card providers in this list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410577.0
Whoops!
I didn't know about that trust rating before since I was away from the forum quite some time, I'm taking my words back.
Seeing how scary SpectroCoin is I will move my fund back into my wallet, thanks for the warning Smiley
549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advcash Bitcoin Card service can lost money on: November 29, 2016, 12:31:13 PM
hi,

advcash is aware of this problem.

Support says, card problem will ONLY be fixed for verified users. you may lost your money if you not send them your personal papers....

Well, that sucks.
They shouldn't differentiate their customers like this at all.
At least they need to put a warning sign in their website regarding this problem and that you need to be verified member to fix this problem warning.

If you need a new Bitcoin Debit Card, try to use spectrocoin never had any problem with their card or their website Wink
Edit : Taking my words back

550  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to ship some clothes from USA -> EU on: November 28, 2016, 05:52:49 PM
Since you're a newbie it's kinda risky to take your offer, as the user above me has replied.

I'm skeptical someone will be taking your offer, try to rent a warehouse at US and then have them ship the clothes from their warehouse into your place.
USendhome is one of them.

What kind of clothes do you want to buy anyway ?
551  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: November 28, 2016, 02:57:33 PM
Namecheap is doing some great deals on domains and hosting for Cyber Monday. They accept bitcoin too.

http://www.coinrebates.com/store/namecheap
Do you still accepting suggestions ?

I would suggest to add online shops like G2A.com
If I'm not wrong they are always open for a new business partner, maybe both of you can get a deal on rebates

There are also shops that deals in video games Merchandise, one of the best known is Jinx, gamerabilia.co.uk, and pixel empire Wink

None of the store from your list caught my eyes, Bookmarked nonetheless maybe It will come in handy in the future Smiley
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2016, 01:44:54 PM
What if POKEMON GO let people sell the pokemons they caught for fraction of Bitcoins?

Imagine this:

(user loyalty reward program)
A person caught a Pokemon and sell them for 0.0003526 BTC

People who collects Pokemon can buy or sell them on the online marketplace.
People from all over the world would have exotic rare pokemons for sell on the marketplace.

Original Post:
https://steemit.com/pokemon/@cryptocurrency1/what-if-pokemon-go-let-people-sell-the-pokemons-they-caught-for-fraction-of-bitcoins

----------------------------------
I'm sure other augmented reality video games companies are jumping on board to develop 'earn while you play' video game loyalty reward system.

inb4 a news will be posted about how controversial that is and there will be adults who managed to phishing kids and sold their pokemons and transfer the bitcoin into his address.

I don't think a social game like Pokemon go need to have Bitcoin integrated, it doesn't go very well and can lead to many disaster.
553  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: GPU is 30% cheaper than Amazon on: November 28, 2016, 11:56:49 AM
Basically he orders with a stolen credit card for you. You receive it, then you release your escrow, and 2 weeks later cops come by and take away your GPUs.

are you serious? I'm intending to buy this stuff, guy.

If it's too good to be true, then it probably is.

Just think about it, how did he managed to sell you a brand new Graphics card with 30% off ?
Even the Distributors of that graphics card don't make that much.

Unless OP can explain how did he managed to sell this graphics card at 30% I'll just assume it's from a stolen credit card.
Don't risk a single graphics card for a chance cops coming in from your front door Smiley
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 28, 2016, 11:44:03 AM
To me PTC site is waste of time, I did trt the expereiment the income was merge and you have to reach a certain amount before you can cash out, I will agree that for now Signature campaign is still the best for people with limited technical skills

PTC really is a waste of time if you're no one on the Internet. If you're somehow relevant, you can easily click bait your followers into clicking your links. Click baiting is one of the most used methods on the Internet world, as long as the caption or title is catchy, people will click it. That's what you needed, right? A click. One click is enough for one person because PTC sites only count one click per IP.
I can confirm this Tongue
I shared my referral link into one of my facebook group back in 2014 (It was a group about making money online)
In Just a few days I managed to get around 25 Referrals and it boost my income on that PTC site.

But, it isn't as big as I hoped for so I Left.

The best income method is always come from a honest hard-working man Cheesy
Many Freelancer job now accepts Bitcoin as their payment, which is another great source of income Wink

Stay away from Bitcoin Mining, most of them are sketchy and always ended up as a ponzi scam
555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any site like purse.io ? on: November 28, 2016, 11:30:40 AM
AFAIK, there's nothing similar to purse.io, they are the only place where we can put our Amazon Wishlist.
Unless, you want to post your offer at Marketplace and wait until someone is interested on your offer.
Other option is to buy Amazon gift card from Digital goods  section or gyft.com

Do you have any problem with Purse.io ? they are trusted as I have used their service multiple times without trouble.

559  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the next BIG event after block halving that may boost bitcoin price? on: July 16, 2016, 01:33:18 AM
...any idea?
Bitcoin's only need is an international news report, it should be a good and informative report and once that happened, expect a thousands of people that will search bitcoin in Google. New users means new demand, new demand means price increase.
Well most of the news about bitcoin on the internet is the negative one
Instead of pulling everyone closer to bitcoin it only drive them apart from bitcoin Sad

But, there are many companies starting to integrate bitcoin into their system, which is good Wink
Their demand will affect the price I am sure of it
560  Economy / Services / Re: Hire. Pokemon Go Trainer for you, 9 Dollars per hour, or .01 per hour on: July 16, 2016, 01:18:19 AM
I suggest you to make it pay-per-catch.
Your client won't know if you really played 2 hours a day without any means of verification.
So I think it's better if they pay for every pokemon you caught for them.
As a suggestion, why not he create an account play pokemon go and sell that account? Smiley I dont know either if you can create unlimited account? Is it possible? As I am not familiar with Pokemon Go, can you trade your pokemon too?
Pokemon Go use google account for sign in (On Android)
So you need a new gmail account for selling the account
Trading is not possible at Beta stage (Current), though Niantic promises that Trading with each other will be available at full version Wink
