hmmm I was playing fine for a while and now its just hanging on "please wait while we locate your payment"
pay address was 1N6CmaCXGnGp6gDr7WitZtdutWGMpgXFST

It's safe to refresh that page... I can't see your transaction on http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin yet.
542  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Flip For Bits... 50/50 betting game. on: June 20, 2011, 04:23:16 PM
What if their bet is .01?  Doesn't the bitcoind charge a .01 bitcoin transaction fee for values less than .01?

Everything is rounded to the nearest 0.01.
543  Other / Off-topic / Re: Somebody tell me I'm going to grow out of this.... on: June 20, 2011, 01:21:59 PM
I'm saying this in all seriousness: kick the drugs and replace them with daily exercise and lots of water. Really fresh apples can also be a good boost to mental state (if you don't mind apples).

544  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Offline blockexplorer for Windows XP? on: June 20, 2011, 10:00:07 AM
Thanks, I'd forgotten about this, but I'm still interested in using one.

546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wish Me Luck! I Just Spent Nearly $2000 On Bitcoins! on: June 20, 2011, 06:27:52 AM
BTC is going to go for $5 USD, easy!

Not for long. I'd drive them back to $10 quick smart if I had USD in Mt Gox. I'm sure others would too.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value - Please read! on: June 20, 2011, 06:17:58 AM
What is the current bitcoin value now? Are we back at 0.01? Has that fucking over of Mtgox changed the value? When is everything getting back to normal?!

Bitcoins are worth $4.80... would you like to sell me a few thousand?

Seriously, bitcoins are worth whatever a buyer/seller agree to trade them for... how much would you sell me yours for?

I'll buy them from you for $5.50 after.

You'd have to pry them from my cold dead hands... Anything below $100 each I'm still a buyer not a seller Smiley
548  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: High Quality Logo Designs - Only 3 BTC Each - Professional Work on: June 20, 2011, 06:14:39 AM
I might like to order, but wouldn't pay a whole coin upfront to a newbie.

550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lots of noob questions on: June 20, 2011, 06:04:35 AM
Maybe that's how it should work Smiley

I'd say for most people it usually goes like this:

1. Ask questions on the forum.
2. Skip over all the hundreds of RTFM posts and gradually get tidbits of information from the non-RTFM posts.

Repeat.
551  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 1 BTC Bounty for instructions on how to compile Bitcoin on: June 20, 2011, 05:19:22 AM
I once put up a 30btc bounty for a similar question, and was directed to this very helpful post:

552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lots of noob questions on: June 20, 2011, 05:14:24 AM
Beany, the forum is not a substitute for reading the documentation...

It was for me. The trouble is, it seems beany hasn't even read much of the forum.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have we all learnt from the Mt Gox incident? on: June 20, 2011, 05:10:34 AM
If Mt. Gox wants to be taken seriously this should be the first and last time they do this kind of bullshit.

Oanda is taken seriously. They have also been known to roll back trades.

Speaking of Oanda, it's be insanely awesome if they added BTC as a currency to their systems.
554  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Flip For Bits... 50/50 betting game. on: June 20, 2011, 02:01:39 AM
How does the referral system work? If someone plays the game through my referral link, am I immediately sent my cut?  Or do I have to go back to the site, enter in my payment address and cash out in some way?

Your cut is sent out at the same time as their payment is confirmed... i.e. during a cron which runs every ten minutes. No need to specifically come back and withdraw.
555  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Did BTC really just hit 1 cent ?? on: June 19, 2011, 07:49:42 PM
You can't fake BTC.

No, but you could put fake database entries that make a gox account look like it has btc in it, and trade with that for real dollars.

556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 0.01$/BTC !!!!! WTF ?!! on: June 19, 2011, 06:40:18 PM

559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: eBay Deleting All Bitcoin Listings on: June 19, 2011, 02:42:10 PM
Just did a search now for bitcoin on ebay and found 82 results.

Edit: One of the sellers doesn't understand what 'micro' means, or is deliberately lying about it's definition:

"I am selling ONE Micro Bitcoin (A Micro Bitcoin is worth 1/100 of a Bitcoin)."
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Market Survey! on: June 19, 2011, 01:13:21 PM
Completed the survey. Looking forward to the results!

Apparently if you're not located in USA, Asia, or Europe, it means you'd "Rather not say" where you're located.
