541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does affilate programs work in casinos? on: March 29, 2024, 02:47:12 PM
You need to be a gambler to become a good affiliate, some casinos have dedicated domains for their affiliate and some of them have tutorials on how to promote their casino, they even provide everything, like banners, bonuses, and giveaways all you have to do is to get your affiliate link and promote on places where casino links are allowed.

Promoting a casino and getting leads is not that easy you need to have your platform and a reputation for gamblers to trust you and sign up using your link because they know you are going to get a portion of what they deposit, which is why some marketers are offering cashback to their referrals and to motivate their referrals to deposit and play more
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: March 29, 2024, 02:17:09 PM
I was just playing Hi-Lo, making small dollar bets, if it's 5 number card I select higher card and win, if it's 10 number then I go with 'low' and win.

Then I was greeted with Ace card, minimal possibility for equal card right (i.e, Ace), so I go all in, and guess what happens, the result is Ace means I lost the bet.

Then I have all sorts of thoughts blaming casino, like do they manipulate the result of the game when user goes all in. I am sure they are all fair, it's just that the possibility of losing the game may be minimal but it's never 0.

It's rare but it happens, who would have imagined that only one card would beat you but it did beat you, it happened to a friend and it made him lose his faith but things like this happen, there are cases when you lose all hope to win because of the odds but you beat the odds, just like what an upset in sports, it also happens in luck-based games.
I'm sure when faced with the same situation you will not go all out with your bets.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been kicked out of a casino? on: March 29, 2024, 01:37:37 PM

Have you been in this situation before?
It's a pleasure to hear your story.

It's not me but my group on a gambling platform in our fiesta, we are so noisy that we become unruly that the operators called up the security on our localities to throw us out of the premises.
It's a lesson learned from me, and from then go I only go with friends who I think will not cause a scene, when we are in a gambling premises we have to respect people's space and privacy.

In online casinos, I have never been restricted or thrown out the only cases you will be restricted are violations of the rules and cheating or exploiting the platform you're playing.

As long as you have a good standing in the online casino you're playing, you will not encounter any issues, Casinos want their players to stay as long as they do not violate any terms.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: User experience Trends in Online Gambling: What's Next? on: March 28, 2024, 03:51:08 PM

This discussion aims to discover what users really value and want to see in the development of online casinos.

When it comes to features and development there's really not much to talk about but to improve what's already been there, and these are bug-free platforms, with responsive and fair support, continuous marketing, and fair treatment of gamblers.
Gamblers know what they are looking for on a platform and the platform knows how to please its clients so the platform should work in the best interest of its players, there's a lot of competition in the casino industry the casino that can give the best experience will get the players' money and attention.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling excites you ? on: March 28, 2024, 02:14:04 PM

Does gambling excites you? What motivates you, winning or just the fun in it ?

There are two things why people gamble, the excitement and the potential profit, a lot of games are exciting to play, and you will come back again and again because of the thrill and the excitement and you will come back for more if you experience winning while feeling excited.

Every gambler has their favorite games that excite them, mine are Crash game, mine Sweeper, and of course dice games we cannot get over these games, and some gamblers' primary motives for gambling is the profit, although it's useless to think that way, they still believe that they can beat the house with diligent research.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about your experience in taking part in the same bet with friends? on: March 28, 2024, 01:38:20 PM

I have experienced placing bets with my friends and everything is fun and there's no pressure involved as long as you think it's all about having fun but when you're with your friends you should not indulge too much, you should not show them that you are a big bettor or try to show off that you can big bettor.

The only difference between betting alone and betting with friends is there is no pressure to win and you can accept your losses more because you are not the only one who loses.

But I don't want to bet with my friends all the time, there are some habits that you don't want to show when you are betting that you alone should know one of these is how you hate yourself when you are losing, you don't want your friends to hear cursing yourself.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Karate Combat on: March 28, 2024, 12:24:06 PM
This could be the next big thing in combat sports I love combat sports, we have a lot of karate black belter in UFC and other MMA organizations and karate was one big organization before Tae Kwon Do became very popular karate was first recognized.

I'm also very bullish on their Karate token because it passes everything that investors want to see in a project, a fully developed platform, and worldwide coverage.

They don't have an official announcement here in Bitcointalk, but I'm sure the developers behind this project are fully aware of Bitcointalk I hope they can launch an official announcement to gain more followers, this is better than PVE games let's see what the future holds for this new concept.

549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Disable and hide gambling videos on Youtube on: March 25, 2024, 03:47:53 PM
I'm using the Brave browser and I'm not getting any ads I use another email to watch videos on YouTube that have nothing to do with gambling on my searches.

If your account is subscribed to a particular interest YouTube will keep showing similar videos to build up your interest so for non-gambling related videos use another email and subscribe to more friendly channels like health concerns, old movies soft music and YouTube will show ads related to your interest that's how their algorithm works, its very similar to Facebook also.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: March 25, 2024, 03:10:16 PM

In general, I realized my mistake and no longer made my bets while I was tired. Concentration is the most important thing in any effort we make, and we must always be at full mental strength, as there are many factors that may affect your chances of winning or losing.

I hope everyone benefits from my experience, thank you

But some gamblers will still gamble even if dead tired from work or daytime activities, there are gamblers whose day will not be complete if they cannot gamble, these people are so addicted to gambling that it's part of their daily routine they prefer to cut their work and allocate time just to gamble.

Concentration and adequate rest are very important if you want to have a pleasant experience in gambling so if you are dead tired better take a rest.

Online casinos are open 24/7 so you can take a rest and just play after you wake up when you are fully rested, you can fully enjoy the game if you are well rested and you can think clearly leading to a win.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer's fan took his own life due to addiction on: March 25, 2024, 02:28:12 PM

Adin Ross is one of the most famous streamers in the world right now, with his content having hundreds of thousands of hours in watch time. Of course much of his content is direct promotion to slots games and such gambling. Perhaps Kick should add some limits to how "controversial" a streamer can be in their platform. People like Ross were banned from twitch after maaany violations.

What do you think about this? Do such people deserve a platform even on Kick?

Some streamers are deceptive and manipulative and they don't care about their followers all they care about is the number of people that will sign up using their code.

This is why I don't watch these streamers, they make it appear it's ok to lose huge money because there's always a chance that you can recover it.

But we must admit they are a big help to casinos to get more leads, they offer streamers money and bonuses to stream their platform, but with the way they sometimes do extreme streaming these controversial streamers will eventually lose the platforms they stream.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 25, 2024, 01:43:34 PM
So Canelo is facing a non-PBC fighter in what is expected as his last fight with PBC? But at least we now know who Canelo is facing this Cinco De Mayo. The tug of war between Canelo and PBC is settled in the middle. Canelo once again was able to ducked PBC's Benavidez while at the same time PBC was able to save its undefeated but inactive fighter Jermall Charlo.

Mungia is still a dangerous opponent for Canelo. I won't be surprised if Canelo once again losses for the third time in his career. And Mungia is not just a jabber, he loves to mixed it up and throw power punches. Canelo if he is not in his top condition might suffer a brutal beating here.

I love to see Munguia getting into the mixed with Canelo here. Maybe from the first one, similar to GGG vs Canelo in their first fight. Canelo could have lost the fight that time, but the judges save him.

As others said, Munguia is very young and very much motivated to beat his fellow Mexicans and became the next Mexican star. And it seems that Canelo is losing his fans here in the community as he clear ducks David Benavidez. But still though, Munguia could be a different fighter here.

Canelo will fight intelligently against Munguia he will not play Munguia's game, Munguia will be too excited and that's how Canelo will capitalize on Munguia being naive fighting in a championship, I already giving up the thought Munguia can beat Canelo, I just want an entertaining fight between the two.
Whoever wins the fight the Mexicans is the eventual winners here.

Canelo will continue to duck Benavidez because he is the real threat to his greatness and his status as the current face of Mexican boxing so he asks for an unimaginable amount just to fight Benavidez

Quote
"I don't need to fight anyone. I don't need to prove anything to anybody, nothing. I remember when this happened with other people, and now it's happening with David Benavidez? But if some promoter I work with comes to me and says, 'I offer you 150 or 200 million dollars,' that would be the only reason I would fight him," he said.

Taking advantage of this, Canelo was also clear in stating that he never received an offer from Benavidez, but, in case it was given, it would only be for an incredible sum.

This is the easiest way to duck people asking for a huge amount of money, he doesn't care about legacy fights all he wants is to enjoy being on top fighting people he can easily beat.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to handle unethical casino tactics? on: March 25, 2024, 12:42:23 PM
Crypto Casino usually use games from 3rd party game providers which means most of the casino has a similar games here. There’s no way a single casino can rigged their games because they don’t have any control of it except for house games which is the only games casino created by themselves.

I believe this topic is only for those online casino or physical casino that has their own game software which they can modify it on their own but this is not possible on crypto casino that use similar game providers. The only tactics some casino use to take advantage with their player is their ToS rules that gives them total control on every cases against players.

I don't know what the intention to pointing out a particular unknown casino to the community when based on his post he generalized the practice, he posted that he would not mention the name of the casino but he did mention it after a few paragraphs

Quote
Casinos employ various tactics to extract money from players, often by touting the superiority of their games and the legitimacy of their software, backed by monthly audits from reputable gaming auditors. No one wants to feel cheated out of their earnings, so we naturally place our trust in assurances of fair play. But should we?

I agree that casinos use third-party software so it should be the software that should be questioned if there is rigging going on, checking on the platform it looks like they are using third-party software, and about the winning circle page OP should ask the casino for proof first before making an allegation that they are manipulating the winnings of their winners
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cruel level of addiction, causing harms and still keeping it up on: March 25, 2024, 12:15:59 PM

The way I am looking at him, he is behaving unstable, as if he is now mentally derailed, he can communicate but gambling is the next thing he want to do, this have cost him is home, business and family.

It's hard to advise this kind of gambler, he is too deep into gambling that no amount of encouragement, or good words even if you promise him anything just to stop I don't think he will or he can, he is totally out of control

Quote
Where I am confused is that why won't he stopped already? Those that are addicted to gambling that i knew get to this same level of losing everything and they make a U-turn in the end, what is keeping him imprisoned ? His mind? or he is already crazy? Or even a spiritual attack?
Gambling addicts are like those people who are addicted to liquor or drugs the body and the mind cannot keep up or function without them, people will wonder what happened to these people but the only cure for these people is rehabilitation, addiction triggers symptoms so the rehabilitation center will try to replace those that trigger these symptoms, its costly and takes a lot of time, but this is the only cure, if the gamble will not go through this plan, healing will not come and the symptoms will surface once triggered.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 24, 2024, 03:56:16 PM

No offense for all Munguia fans, but right now is undisputed king of super middleweight and middleweight division. Munguia might be really good, but a miracle must happen for him to win by decision. Munguia can win only by a knockout. Even if he knockdown Canelo, I am sure that judges will give only 8-10 in that round and Canelo will still win by decision. The best Munguia can get in such scenario is a split lose. For Canelo to lose by decision, I think this is possible only if he goes to a different weight class.

Yes, a miracle for this fight applied to Munguia's case against Canelo, you need to win overwhelming if the fight is too close the champion keeps the title, as a challenger you need to take the title away from the champion.

For Munguia to win against Canelo he needs to overwhelm and dominate the fight, as much as possible and knock Canelo out, this is a gigantic task for Munguia he knows it but Canelo will not easily give in and Canelo has never been badly hurt in any of his fights, but miracle does happen and we have seen this happen in many fights.

I'm not going to miss this fight it's a battle of determination by a young challenger against the face of Mexican boxing, so it's going to be interesting and action-packed.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 24, 2024, 03:34:57 PM

The lesson here is always check the wallet address before you deposit no matter how long do you use the same address. Most importantly don’t use casino wallet address to receive funds that has a delay such as loan money and campaign payments since there’s a chance that they will update their wallet address without prior notice. Keep safe and have fun.

If the casino has it in their terms that they cannot recover coins sent on a wrong address they may not grant your request its good bro that they still consider your request.

I become fully aware of this because of the clip board malware when I first read about this virus I always make sure and make it a habit, to always check the address in any platform at all times.

Cryptocurrency transaction has no charge back so the only way not to regret your transaction is to make it a habit to check and double check it will take a few minutes but it will save you a lot, remember you are your own bank you are the teller of your coins so always double check.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investment a necessity or a want? on: March 24, 2024, 03:13:35 PM
It is am obvious fact there are a lot of coins coming in to the market and Bitcoin halving is so close and alot of people are also diving in to the  market, but some thing actually triggered me creating this thread which is where I got the attention from, some one very close to me has been prioritizing coins involvement other than his health care. What are your option on this?

They have seen the opportunity because of the uptrend in the market and they don't want to miss out on the opportunity so instead of buying medicines for their health, they prefer to invest.

This is very risky and if the ailments need a continuous intake of medicines his profit coming from investment will eventually go to buying more medicines and worse getting hospitalized.

You should advise your friend to take it easy prioritize his health and open his eyes to the worst scenario that could happen if he neglects his health.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 24, 2024, 02:23:54 PM
Crypto has been known for anonymity. During the early stage, we like to promote it using the words "decentralized" and "anonymous ", and it's the main reason why a lot of gamblers have chosen to gamble using crypto to gain full privacy, but it seems like things have really change a lot now as gamblers are looking for a casino that are licensed while some casinos who promotes anonymous gambling eventually act like a fiat casino that requires KYC.
Crypto casinos have become a huge industry that the regulators need to regulate to avoid being used as a money laundering channel for scammers and hackers, the Crypto casinos need to establish legality in running their business for fear of being taken down and their platform from being blocked from access of their players.
There are Crypto casinos that are contract-based where anonymity is fully preserved there are risks involved in this platform but if you're comfortably playing here and do not want KYC it is your choice to use this kind of platform

Quote
What do you think about this one, where is are we heading? And can we still consider crypto casinos different from fiat casinos?
It's still different because the transactions are traceable and instant, and not everyone is being requested to do a KYC by some casinos, we are heading in the right direction, the Cryptocasino industry is growing because of the massive shift of fiat-based casino to accepting Cryptocurrency.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 24, 2024, 01:11:41 PM

When we make a bet and put our money on the line, we may lose money, time, and even some daily tasks that we neglect, and the first goal remains to make a quick profit with the largest possible amount of money, but I do not know why some people consider bets to be more  for fun  and a way to spend time than to win money.
Because they know that you cannot beat the house every time you play at a casino and their chances to win money is when there is an opportunity to win, they are not trying to win but instead just enjoy the game and their experience.

Quote
Personally, I would consider it fun when my budget is much greater than my losses or when I gamble with someone else's money, and this is something I would not do if I had no benefit in it.
Every one of us had a definition of having fun your definition is different from the other players I started playing games with having fun as my main motive and just created a shift of my mindset if there's a chance to win money

Quote
I think there are those who agree with me and those who do not agree with me, but it remains my personal opinion and it's an opportunity to share it with you on this topic.

So where's the fun when you lose your money?

I don't agree with your opinion but we all have different opinions on the way we gamble and how we treat gambling if all of the gamblers cannot have fun when losing money we will all be disappointed because losing is part of gambling a fact that you should accept so you can liberate yourself of the attitude that you can beat the house that will cause anxiety and depression.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 23, 2024, 05:11:30 PM

I am just wondering if anyone here have ever been in a similar situation before? That is, gambling until you are completely broke with nothing to fall back on?
No money in the bank, no cash in the hand, what did you do?

As much as possible we should never let this thing happen to us, we are totally out of control and cannot decide what's right and what's wrong, anyone who's doing this is at the bottom and he should be rehabilitate because he do not know how to decide properly.
He will lose everything and he will likely end up with nothing to eat because he prioritize gambling more than anything else.
This kind of people usually are unkempt and unorganize and their life has no direction, rehabilitation is the only answer no amount of advice can save this individual.
