5581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Millions of People Use Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2016, 10:54:28 AM
I think there are more than 30 million people in the world as bitcoin users,.
how confident your allegations, I'm sure you just guess it? I do not think it will be that much. for a great country I'm sure users will not exceed 300k users, and probably a whole will only reach 5-10 million users only
its really hard until now to know wahts the actual number but most of us for sure influence already some of our friends and relatives to also use and invest with bitcoin for sure from day to day more and more people are also acquiring so if just for guessing might be possible to have atleast 10M+ just for my personal guess though.
definitely, guessing is actually just raw opinion without any proof, the actual number of bitcoin users is really hard to be predicted or even being known because bitcoin users may have multiple wallet and multiple addresses, and if you're trying to get the number by calculating transactions for every second you will never get the right answer because an address which is automated to send bitcoin also exist
5582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Fees to instant sent a bitcoin transaction? on: November 22, 2016, 10:51:09 AM
from your example sending $10 worth amount of bitcoin with fees about 10% of it ($1) is just too much, fees depend on transaction size and being multiplied with recommended fee/byte rate
for information about the current fee/byte rate go here: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/
and also beside of setting up the fees as one of the factors which make your transaction can fastly confirmed, it's also depends on the block and how much time needed to be solved i guess
5583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ups and Downs ! on: November 21, 2016, 12:02:36 PM
if you could take advantage of the situations down trend or up trend i'm sure you could got profit from that and this situations is common happening on every currency even dollar also have it so it is normally and as basic law trading says that buy when the price down and sell when the price rise up

but i think it is really very difficult job to understand the ups and down trend of the bitcoin, as no one know in advance that when the price of bitcoin is going to up or when then price of bitcoin can fell down so as to sell bitcoin before the downfall started.
that's actually true, even if you have such a good anaylzation that make you confident enough to make a decision and predicting what's going on with the price afterwards, there's still a chance for you to make a wrong prediction,it's all depend on luckyness i guess
5584  Economy / Economics / Re: cryptocurrency wallet to wallet transfer fees? on: November 21, 2016, 11:45:32 AM
so far didn't found the website which showing the amount needed as a fee for every transaction in various coins but hey you can just checking it out one by one, just go with the specific altcoins blockchain explorer, pick one transaction as an example and you can get the information about the fees,
the fees for every transaction may vary

 Cool
well there's nothing wrong with it, the school will eventually need to convert the bitcoin to local fiat, so why not just convert it directly to fiat for every bitcoin received, though at the end the function will be the same, students spending bitcoin to fulfill their education needs
5586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: November 21, 2016, 11:12:16 AM
I see the biggest advantage of Bitcoin in it`s transparency.
Ability to transfer any amount in the minute around the globe.
Low fee for transfer.
I really love the transparency of bitcoin,if government around the world want to implement bitcoin to monitoring some project which is going deployed by the government then it's really good, we can prevent corruption, and the funds could clearly being shown to the public for what purpose it is by just simply giving a text note in every transaction or funds movement
otherwise if some country wants to implement blockchain system by making their own cryptocurrencies also not wrong
5587  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: noob on: November 21, 2016, 11:06:28 AM
Hi I am a noob and I'm looking to download Electrum as I have heard this is the easiest and quickest wallet to have. Is this the case?
well electrum is quite easy to use and don't require you to download the whole blockchain so electrum is a good choice indeed

Also, do you need funds to open a wallet as I wanted to get the wallet first and then buy some currency?
You don't need to have funds first. Just open a wallet and get the address, after that you can buy bitcoin and then send the bitcoin to the address which you have made before

any reliable UK bitcoin sellers this forum can recommend?
I'd suggest you go to localbitcoins.com, or coinbase.com

an article which may be useful for you : http://www.coindesk.com/information/buy-bitcoin-uk/
5588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: November 20, 2016, 08:30:05 AM
You can start with the amount of 0.01 btc if you're a complete newbie, Better trade with the amount that you can afford to lose.
To avoid losing the 0.01 btc.  It is important to study about trading first but after all practical knowledge is the best so try and try.
i think there is no limit of money for starting a business, you can start trading from any amount, and to me it is good if you starting from a little amount as you need to study the market and then get some experience and only then you should invest a good amount in trading.
ofcourse there's none but if you're trading with only 0.0001 bitcoin, what a waste of time, the profit will be devoured by the fees, and the time you spent for it,really not worth, and also you can learn something by trading with small amount of money but trading with big amount and small amount really have differences on how you can manage it,you may feel like overburdened when trading with big amount of money
5589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 20, 2016, 08:19:54 AM
There is no way to prevent the bad use of fiat neither bitcoin or other altcoins, the owner can use it for anything he does wanna, the only thing that will show is the adress being used for such transaction, knowing its pseudo anonymous we dont know what are the funds for. Bitcoin has attracted several drug dealers, and the famous silk road, that were closed in the begining, but dark markeplaces keep playing and there is no way to stop all forever.
That's why there's a freedom for every users to do what they desire for their bitcoins. However, anything they committed illegal will have to be dealt accordingly with the law when caught. People will bad or illegal intension will always do, but in my case I would not try, it's hard to end up the rest of our life in jail.

Looking at the anonymity of bitcoin it's nearly impossible for the government to find someone doing illegal stuff.. most likely when someone is doing that will use temporary bitcoin address.
if that so,give me the reason why silkroad could be traced down and being seized their bitcoin? some expert here said bitcoin is actually pseudo-anonymous,could be traced down by using some sort of explorer like what another altcoin can,and it's definitely not impossible to be traced down, even easier than fiat, but you can still hide your identity by doing some step
5590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No blocks since in the last hour on: November 20, 2016, 08:12:52 AM
At least I learnt something today. I thought that there was exactly 10 minutes between each block but it seems it isn't the case.
well the block is not exactly coming every 10 minutes but 10 minutes is just an average when the block will be coming and ready to be solved by the miners,it may either more or less
as Yuuto stated above,it's like a luck game
5591  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Any cheap bitcoin advertising networks? on: November 20, 2016, 08:03:14 AM
though most of traffic from the website which was mentioned above come from faucet and can't say it's really quality traffic especially if they were forcing the visitors to click an ads, regardless to its requirement to accept bitcoin, really reccommend advertising networks like google ads,it will give you pure quality traffic
but if you are still looking for an advertising network which accept bitcoin then go with bitmedia,i've been ever becoming their publisher long time ago and it seems they're really taking care of their customers,it's just from my perspective by the way
5592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 20, 2016, 07:53:31 AM
The most fundamental thing is to facilitate financial transactions that I did. the rest is to make the system of the world economy could be controlled by everyone, so that someday no such thing as rich countries and poor countries. all of them equally.
well actually making rich countries and poor countries equal is a bit too much,it's indeed can be done but very hard, and if the world economy could be controlled by everyone doesn't mean everyone can be rich, someone may take advantage of others
as what i know from how this world work, there must be an oppsite of a thing, such as rich is the oppsite of poor and will always exist, and equal doesn't mean receiving thing at the same amount
5593  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: November 20, 2016, 07:17:08 AM
Both are important, as mass adoption would allow more demand for bitcoins which will automatically become the reason for higher prices, and if higher prices are there already, others might take a dip of their salaries into bitcoins to take advantage of trading its volatility.

I do agree with your statement and both  goes hand in hand in my opinion. As the law of supply and demand goes, more demand means high prices of bitcoin. We already know that bitcoin has a fixed number only in circulation.
actually both huge price increase and mass adoption have its relation, mass adoption will bring huge price increase and if that's the case, there no "which one is better" because choosing one of both means choosing both
even if huge price increases didn't mean mass adoption, people still getting interested by its price rising and see this as some sort of worthy investment
5594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Fiat Digital currency is coming to Chinese people. on: November 20, 2016, 07:14:09 AM
really agree with "Anti-corruption With Blockchain Tech" hope my government could implement it too
the reason why i'd really agree with this is because as you see from example when some ICO project got pretty decent amount of bitcoin which is about thousands and after the ICO ends, the investor could always watch where the funds will be moved, hence they could asking what's going on with the fund and the reason of movement,it could prevent corruption at 100% rate indeed
5595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the transaction fee? on: November 20, 2016, 07:06:58 AM

Transaction fees has become a serious issue and for this same reason people are using wallets like xapo or directbet casino wallet because they don't charge fees. Actually this was a major reason why sites those chain based games were closed since people can not bear so much fees
yeah that's the hassle of using chain based games, can't store the bitcoin on the account's balance therefore paying fees for every transaction,it's not going to be a problem when the value of bitcoin is just about $500 but now it's about $700 and maybe will be going to the moon
even though if we're using it for only usual transaction the fees still can be considered as normal
5596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: November 20, 2016, 06:58:29 AM
it was created because it is trustless that is writed on paper by satoshi, he want to make a trustless system, but people use it also for anonimity, both are good reason to use bitcoin instead of fiat money which are heavily tracked and controlled
if you're reffering to fiat money especially if it's paper money i guess you have made a mistake by saying it's heavily tracked,it's actually can't be tracked but only being controlled by the government, bitcoin is much more easily to be traced than tracing the use of paper money
5597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2016, 06:55:26 AM
I think bitcoin able to buy drugs, I once read an article on the internet that bitcoin is used in the deep web. but for me, I am not using bitcoin to bad activities. I am using bitcoin in daily life and good activities.
yeah, through a dark marketplace,it's named silkroad but now thing there just had been seized by united states if i'm not mistaken, website had been blocked and the whole bitcoin in silkroad's storage also had been seized, just don't buy drugs, it will eventually destroy your life
5598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nobody is talking about the reason for this rise! on: November 17, 2016, 02:46:28 PM
Well i guess the strongest reason is because Donald Trump getting elected, the value of dollar is falling even they could restore its power immediately within few days but still, bitcoin's price could rising because of it,maybe the effect of this are continuously affecting bitcoin until now
but i'd point out the main factor above all,the demand is increased
5599  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: November 17, 2016, 11:40:46 AM
Loans are really risky but not for the borrower, obviously the risk is on the lender as borrower will not choose to pay if he is not a good payer. There are many scammers online so we need to be careful if we plan to have this kind of business. I would not recommend so, because the risk does not commensurate the income.
I think lending is good business to grow bitcoin, of course there is a risk that is always there, but the risk can be minimized by requiring a high assurance, so that if they do not pay you still have that assurance
if the loans business were using bitcoin as the main currency then i guess there's no assurance to cover this since it's using cryptocoin,if that so then assurance is useless in this case, the risk of losing money on loan is just worth it if you calculate with the profit you will get
5600  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: November 17, 2016, 11:03:32 AM
Those panic sellers just looking for profits, the price reached $700 and I thought they have been planned to sell their coins at that price.
However, the price increasing so good today and we will reach $800 soon, and they will going sell coins again, lol.
i think the definition of panic sellers are those traders who getting easily baited by troller and when the price of some coin which they were invested falling even just a little, they're blindly selling to avoid losing even though it make the condition of the market even worse,if they're selling when the price just reached the highest or because the price were high enough,it's definitely not a panic sellers but a sellers who take advantages of the situation
