561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH break its highest record again on: October 08, 2018, 01:26:13 PM
Can ethereum break its highest record again if yes how much time it will take more
Of course it can, the trouble is WHEN. I know eth is great because it has been the underlying ICO king for a long time but since bitcoin and crypto in general has been on a bad market time there have been few ICO's out there, since ICO count dropped down there is less funding going around as well, since there is less funding going around there is also less need to buy ethereum as well which means the price of course going down. Now when the ICO count goes up and the funding goes up as well the more people fund ICO's the more they will need to buy ethereum and the more the price will go up again.
562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: October 08, 2018, 11:58:31 AM
we don't trade by the news.but We can't ignore them either.Regardless of the truth of these news, it always has some influence on the market.so the analysis of fundamentals is essential.

Ye's. thats true I dont follow to the news of the price because some of news are fake and not really happen once sometimes mistaken for what they saying.
I think trading by news is not that bad if you know what the news is. Yes if you are reading a news article that means the price is already fluctuation regarding that news and you are probably already too late but if you can get a news before everyone else and if you know the news is good enough to affect the price than you react accordingly.

The problem is not "trade by the news" but its "trade by the news you read way to late while everyone already reacted on it". People see articles and buy/sell accordingly whilst market already moved on to the next news cycle. Do not trade by the news if you are not the first one to hear that news is more proper.
563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it true that the market usually rises before the end of the year? on: October 06, 2018, 11:40:33 AM
If it's going to happen, we'll see when it happens. It's not right to just say that without any evidence or without any analysis. No obligation ''events that have occurred in the past year should be this year''. The price prediction without any news depends on your chances.

It will really going to happen mate, we just need to wait for more days to come. December is yet to come so it's not too late to save your holdings. Hold your coins and don't bother selling it just for any bad reasons because of fake news and other non legit media informations due to bearish trend.

For me, I just depend on the situations may bring to all of us here buddy. We really don't know what will going to happen, unless there's a miracle and those big whales will be impress with the market so they'll be able to put up their wealth again to cryptocurrency. Thinking for that before the end of the year is a good motivations, because if it wouldn't happen I guess many people will lose patience as well.
If bull run never exist by the end of this year, then this is a big disappointments of some investor that may be the reason for leaving on crypto, as well it go under collapsed due of lack in demand. But a positive motivation will help for bitcoin consistently grow as well the demand. The more patience we consume, the mere profits we aim.
come on in crypto trading or investment a price change that is not in line with expectations is not the end that  is the usual thing that often happens. so basically you should have to know how to manage your expectations so that you are not disappointed and panicked when the changes come and are not appropriate
If he has decided to see not rising by the end of the year as a big disappointment, which is because that is the line he has decided to choose. Disappointment only comes to those who expect too much from the future they cannot predict, rather than trying to take advantage on the moment now, believing surely that the future is good irrespective of when it comes good, and then be able to make substantial decisions by utilizing the opportunity that the market brings now. There is so much in the future that is expected, so, trying to panic unnecessarily or getting disappointed if the market does not move as please, sounds absurd to me.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy Altcoins on this time ??? on: October 05, 2018, 11:01:57 AM
Still, the prices are very cheap in the market which the prices will start increasing once the Bitcoin price starts increasing. So it is always good to buy the potential coin which has great development because those coin prices will surely reach the higher value when the market starts recovering.
Right now, the prices are even more than cheap enough for anyone not to ever consider wanting to invest for the long term. Looking at most of the altcoins, except for some who have gotten pumped a little, I would say the chances of seeing the alts really making a big move is becoming glaring and it takes someone who is smart enough to know that the possibility of experiencing a bullish move before the end of the year could still be there. A lot of the altcoins have reached a huge demand zone and the possibility of seeing a reversal soon is there as long as the condition gets right.
565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tone Vays says target is 5000$ on: October 05, 2018, 10:20:33 AM
Have you guys watched latest Tone Videos? He's very peculiar about all of it but predicts 5000 and maybe 1300

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS1JQWtGaiM
Insider news indeed, like all have said, at least share the source or this is just another FUD post. There is much going for the market, and sure, no one knows how the market is going to go in the short, mid or long term no matter the insider news you are getting.

At this stage, it is obvious anyone would just want to assume anything in their head, because of that, ends up having a dream about it and then come here to tell us it is insider news. From where? I would rather look at the price action on the chat than focus on any insider news at the moment.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: October 04, 2018, 09:49:50 AM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.
Normally, as a bounty hunter, your work is to project the product out there to the world and in the process that the ICO fails, then that shows the failure of the bounty hunters as well and since you are going to be paid in the token or coins as the case may be, you are definitely stuck with the fact that you will just have to accept the fate of not getting paid and moving on.

That is one part of the risk of bounty as you share the risk with the company and as long as you are not an investor which a legit ICO will definitely return investor's funds, and then you have nothing to get as a bounty hunter.
567  Economy / Speculation / Re: I never held this much bitcoins. on: October 03, 2018, 06:21:05 PM
I jus dump half my investment from stocks into btc. Now I'm fully invested in bitcoin. Before I had invested in bch and it dumped. While I converted to fiat. Long story but I'm still alive after the ath 19k n buying the dip. I thought it was going to 4k. But i guess its a good time to buy now. Best of luck.
This is the smartest move anyone has ever done that I was part of seeing. I think buying as much as you can "afford" (people keep getting loans and stuff to buy bitcoin, that is stupid, this dude bought bitcoin with half of his stock investments which means he already saved that money aside anyway) bitcoin right now at the dip is an amazing move.

If I had money I would put half of it to bitcoin as well. People who bought bitcoin at $20k levels were buying on the hype when it was ABOVE the all time high prices, whereas this dude has bought it at the lowest it has been for over 10 months now, incredible wise move.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks offering only 1.3% interest rates for Savings Account on: October 03, 2018, 10:31:31 AM
I went to my bank today to change money to foreign currency because I will be traveling abroad soon. I asked the lady what are the current annual interest rates if you decide to give your money to bank for certain period of time without being able to withdraw that money (Savings Account).
She said proudly that zhe interest rate is 1.3% which is the highest in the country. I was holding my laugh and smiled kindly to her and I said that even 1.3% is not enough for me.
What do you guys think? I think 1.3% per year is a joke. Money can lose that much value in one year so you didn't actually profit at all. What kind of interets rates do you get at your banks?

WOuld you mind telling us from what region was that?Or specific country?Damn thats a fucking low man

1.3 per annum is a suicidal investment and even i am from asian I cant imagine that someone is having that difficulties in their own money that entrusted from banks

Maybe  if thats the case, this will favor cryptocurrency community as people from that region will surely transfer their money to crypto and may have good enough income per annum, what you think guys?
I really would want to know the region myself looking at the fact that from where I hail from, banks even take from you rather than giving you anything. If they are not deducting some bullshit charges for SMS, they are deducting on some maintenance whatsoever, and they keep making shit tons of money on my savings, with no benefit.

Well, they have gotten served what they deserve with the decentralized space now, and let us see how they want to keep up with the competition upcoming in the long run. This is actually the main reason why the real believers will always want cryptocurrency to thrive knowing how things have been with banks over the years.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google has allowed the advertisement of cryptocurrency back! on: September 29, 2018, 01:39:02 PM
I did't help. Bitcoin is still hovering around 0
What? You were expecting the price to just push up immediately because Google decided to limit the ban on cryptocurrency advert. Oh please! And I wonder where you are seeing 0 from anyway.

News naturally is not even something I would count on to bring about some huge changes to a market unless it is something that could bring about some real adoption of cryptocurrency and real demand, let alone a news of this, when Google actually realize the revenue they will be making from it anyway and want to decide to tap from it. It is not like initially when the ban was stated; anyone cared in the first place, so why should anyone care now?
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch 20K USD end of 2018. What you think ? on: September 29, 2018, 12:43:46 PM
Do not forget that a large amount of bitcoin was bought in 2017 at a price higher than 10 000, and it is logical to assume that many investors will see how much they will begin to sell in order to close the deal at 0, that this should be avoided by a series of strong news that the dyest they can not sell faith
That is the reason why resistance on the way up is always going to be huge and until we start seeing some really good news that would squash those resistances out of the way the market may not be strong enough to even test the previous ATH before it starts back down.

It is a normal thing with a market, people who have been holding for a while and then does not understand the advantage of holding long term will always want to cash out when they see the market increasing and then possibly changing trends back downwards, which is why the selling attempt within some region of resistance will be huge and 20k without any solid news will be hard to come by.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: September 28, 2018, 12:48:54 PM
i think yes, btc bear market is already over
For btc, there is no certainty yet, even though the market has been trying to hold up for some time now and we can see the momentum increasing towards the bull side, but as long as we are still in a wedge or a descending triangle like I have been saying, I still remain bearish unless I just want to take some quick risk with some tight stop loss.

Nonetheless, there is no doubt that the signals in the market across board is really looking very good starting from the weekly candles to all the indicators showing some bullish signals, but at the same time, it is not always bullish until there is a clear break out signal with volume. I may not be too sure yet on how far bitcoin even will go on breakout, but it seems the alt market is ready to make a huge move.
572  Economy / Speculation / Re: The occurrence of bitcoin price movements from year to year on: September 28, 2018, 12:10:04 PM
this is the movement from 2013 to 2018 which is obtained from the https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ data from this picture what information can you get? with data from bitcoin price movements that have a span of one year I hope it can help you to be able to provide predictions for the price of bitcoin that will occur this year and in the next few years.

Bitcoin price movements with a span of 1 year (2013-2014)

Bitcoin price movements with a span of 1 year (2014-2015)

Bitcoin price movements with a span of 1 year (2016-2017)

Bitcoin price movements with a span of 1 year (2017-2018)

from this data shows that not always the price of bitcoin can be high, there must be a year that makes the price of bitcoin collapse and this year the price movements are almost the same as in 2014-2015 (prices tend to fall).
Well, they always say at times, trends are always possible to see repeat themselves, but at the same time, we also need to understand that past trend is not an indication of what will happen in the future, being that a lot of things are changing, developments are moving fast, and things may actually be faster this time around.

However, if we are technically to judge from the charts, it is normal that we would still see some more trend downwards followed by a long period of consolidation as the case may be before we start seeing an uptrend eventually, but in cases like this, time usually is the only thing we have.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 3K$ on: September 25, 2018, 12:03:43 PM
i think its quite simple and safe to say that 3k is just impossible, as mining 1btc cost more than that. At worst, people stop their equipment temporarily, and diff goes down, making it more profitable again, thus prices go up again, making people turn it on again.
Also, there is simply too much money related to btc to go that low. Think about jobs, space rent, builders, constructors, computer equipment, mining andchip fabrication etc. Its a whole industry... It doesn't just collapse. No where near possible...
If the mining cost is more than $3000, nobody will mine bitcoin because nobody will bear deficit after hardships and spending their time in mining. When there is no mining, there will be no supply of bitcoin in the market and the price will go up automatically. Then the miners will start their work. If all the people lose their money and waste their time then cryptocurrency would be no value.
Those who are bigger miners will still mine bitcoin bro, and simply only the small miners will have to pack their bags for a while and maybe look for other things to do.

Sure, at that range, it sure will be less than mining cost from all the things I have seen so far on the net, and in that kind of situation, only those who already had something big going for them right from the onset will keep on, the difficulty will reduce as smaller miners pave way, and then it would be more incentives for the bigger players.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break from gambling on: September 22, 2018, 09:55:48 AM
Sometimes you need to sit down and really re-evaluate what you're doing, even if whatever you're doing constantly feels good, it could be having negative effects on your life in other ways, so it's always good to have mindfulness. Glad to see that you were able to take a step back and notice the issues before it got any worse, now you can see the benefits of self control (and have more cash in the bank)!
Say it bro! People hardly reflect these days and that is why they get so engrossed in something and before they know it, coming out of it becomes a huge problem for them.

There is nothing bad in taking a step back, thinking things through to realize where you are going wrong, get your mind filled with other positive energy when you know what you are doing is not being productive and that is what really makes a man to be called a man by taking full control of oneself.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: September 22, 2018, 07:40:24 AM
The government is trying to make everything under its control, the banks control all the money, and the government controls that banks.
Blocking or restricting is a feature of anything new, new things need time to accept.
The Internet has been a tool for freedom before, but now there are a lot of restrictions on its use, and this will happen to cryptocurrencies.
I do not know why people tend to be controlled? But this is a present trait.
The government has always been in control right from the onset, and something threatening to take that control away from them is absolutely expected to generate concerns for the government.

Policies are formulated daily at the expense of the citizens, monopolies have always been a norm, and all these is a way of them trying to make just themselves and some few sections rich so they can always gain control of how they want things to be, and that is where the whole idea of decentralization is hitting them as that control could be taken away from them.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will you do ? on: September 21, 2018, 10:33:04 AM
I will invest in ETH more, because ETH price is much cheaper than BTC. Therefore investing in ETH will be more profitable. And ETH is more popular because of the fast and cheap transaction.
I believe what works for everyone differs and I can actually feel you based on the fact that ETH ended up erasing almost all its gain last year, at least a huge chunk of it, and who knows, it could still go lower, depending on the market conditions.

For now, I want to believe that picking any product and most especially for ETH that has gone that low at their dips is always a good choice to make, no doubt about it.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run can be surprising? on: September 18, 2018, 01:23:53 PM
Users expecting for the bull run to occur this year. Hoping for the bull run to take place but usually we do not know yet when it would be. Price can rise and down in the market so once good news occur bull run will take place.
yes, all users are looking forward to this year. Prices can go up and down in the market so the good news is that a bull run will take place. all. we have to be patient while waiting for the bull run

Hopefully we will see the good news to be uprising soon anytime this year, I don't even care it that would be december 31 but still this year right? The patience has been to a maximum tolerance here and we couldn't expect everyone to hold until next year if this wasn't a good idea to hang on with their motivations. If we see this bull run happening it can be towards next year 2019 we will experience this great surprises.
Well, like you just said it. Hopefully!
I guess we are all expectant to see a good rise at the end of the year, how this would end up panning out is simply best known with time anyway and there is nothing anyone can do than to be patient.
Now, I still would not want to assume that anything can still happen and people expectation gets dashed, but as long as the long term is still certain and it is not really just about the short term, then I am cool with whatever comes in that short term.
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think should invest in BITCOIN now? on: September 18, 2018, 04:01:28 AM
Yes, it is always good to invest in Bitcoin, look at the price of Bitcoin from many days the price of Bitcoin is at $6k only. So it is always good to buy at this condition. Once the bitcoin price starts increasing we cannot able to buy again.
For someone who knows what the peak was last year, I am sure, they will know if there is any better time to be buying, the time starts now. Sure, there is no doubt that the market could go lower, but trust me, even if the market should go to as low as $3000 today, some people will still be skeptical to buy it as they will be waiting for more and then eventually miss it and start joining FOMO eventually. Buy the dips so they say and the best way is to plan out how you are going to buy coupled with your expectations.
579  Economy / Marketplace / Re: about the price of cryptocurrency on: September 17, 2018, 12:35:53 PM
in my opinion this cryptocurrency price can be very expensive because the demand conditions of bitcoin will increase and make the condition of bitcoin will be very difficult to obtain.
I really would not say at that stage it would be difficult to obtain because certainly for a huge adoption to have happened to that level, there is every possibility that we are always going to have hit the level of mainstream adoption and be using the currency aspect of bitcoin more for payment purposes.

At points like this, people are no longer focusing too much on the investment part of it, but how they can rather spend easily without having to rely so much on fiat.
580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive in a bear market and cut out losses on: September 17, 2018, 11:10:29 AM
best thing i think is to take your eyes off the chat and wait for the market to recover, because you might be caught unawares if you try to go with scalping
Taking your eyes off the chart as a trader is not a smart thing to do. One thing you should always do as a trader is to have a strategy and then get to see how the strategy is going to work out for you based on position to buy, when to sell, and where you should be applying your stop loss.

It is a normal thing that is done if you know certainly what you are doing. A lot of people certainly do not know what they do, and that is why surviving the bear market will always be difficult for them.
