561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 27, 2022, 09:28:17 AM
Seeing the enthusiasm for watching the 2022 FIFA World Cup is very high. after the end of the pandemic then people will really want to take a vacation. and one of the best holidays is to qatar later while watching the 2022 fifa world cup. one month ago even 1.8 million tickets to watch the 2022 fifa world cup have sold very quickly.

and for fans of these star players like messi and CR7 who will be playing for the last time at the 2022 Fifa world cup. will be very impatient to want to quickly watch their performances later. will make history or make their best impression.

time feels very slow for me if I wait until the start of the 2022 fifa world cup this time.
Certainly atmosphere is amazing right now for this Mega event which is going to play in Qatar, even numerous peoples have no updates and information about this country but still they are desperate for visiting and watching their great stars in stadiums.

With fear is still on for pandemic as many restrictions are coming into few countries and health officials also announcing again and again about few threats, but peoples now wants some better environment and relaxation after long lock down and living under bars with this all.

Still we have three months which is surely a long way for many as time is stopped, and we have to wait very long for this but still excitement is on and Qatar is ready for their biggest ever event which is going to bring millions of peoples from all over the world.
562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 26, 2022, 09:14:04 PM
If we look at the market trend in 2022, I'm pessimistic that the price of bitcoin can reach $100k, if the market continues to rise the highest possible price is around $75k, maybe the price of $100k will happen in another year, because I think that in 2022 inflation in many countries is the cause of investors need cash for many needs.
The only hope that we have last time where the price continued rising up to 23k have now gone because we are back again at 21k. I think what causes the dump is the tesla selling most of their bitcoin hodlings. Now most of us are convinced that btc can hardly break the 25k limit and obviously will be even harder to reach higher values such as 100k.

The highest possible price of btc is not 75k but this price was just common since we already been at 69k last time. The real one which can be said the highest possible value of btc could be 1m u.s dollars because I don't think there are more to come after that or if ever this price will be touch.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: July 26, 2022, 08:14:20 PM
When you speak of investing in a country, I would think you’re speaking about investing in your country’s stock market and trying to boost up your country companies. If that’s your angle, I would think that the country itself doesn’t really benefit from that type of investments. Only a handful of people in the country majorly benefits from the stock market investments. And also, the ordinary man in the society probably doesn’t invest in anything not less the stock market.
I don't think so but what he mean there is how will investing on a crypto or even in anything can help a country but investing on a thing which are more related/connected on our country could help much better than investing on a thing which aren't related to it like crypto for example. I am not an anti-crypto but I am only saying what I think is true.

In fact, I don't totally discourage someone to not invest in crypto but it's always better to diversify our funds so bagging some crypto is always a good idea. It can be true that an ordinary man/person don't invest in anything, not even in stocks, that is because he is just ordinary anyway. He don't have a any knowledge on it and he don't have a sufficient money to risk on those things.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Prices Are Getting Higher on: July 26, 2022, 05:49:21 PM
There's a meeting that's happening right now and there will be for tomorrow too. Everyone is expecting that there's another effect on it the price of USDT and that's why those that have been holding stablecoins are still holding it because whatever the outcome of that meeting, surely will affect the price of it. Well, there's the effect on USDT because we are all aware of where it is relying and that's why when FED results in a positive meeting, the price of USD will be increasing again and so does the USDT.
That was still a meeting and they haven't taken any action yet but don't tell me that you think of it as one of the reasons on why tether is getting stronger? Hhmm. Even if usdt is a stable coin it is still possible for their prices to get affected although the effect won't be too much same with what we are seeing in normal volatile cryptos, so there is no need to worry about and they can also return to a dollar or more within a short period of time.

If someone is worried and scared about the outcome of the meeting then why will they still hodl their stable coin? They can always dispose it now that they still have a chance. There are some that still holds but that is because they are safeguarding their crypto profits and then maybe buy some cryptos once the price starts dipping again.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 26, 2022, 09:49:25 AM
If Ronaldo has no confidence later after being forced to stay at Manchester United, will it be better to work with other teams? I doubt it because of his desire to leave even though Ten Hag has a good plan but Ronaldo's feeling is that he still wants to focus on going out so pre-season is left behind.

But if Ronaldo wants to keep going and as it was rumored to Atletico Madrid whether there will be quality players like Manchester United, I don't think Manchester United is better for now than Atletico.
Ronaldo still has not given clear clarification whether he will go to Atletico Madrid in this summer window or he will stay with Manchester United. It seems that there is no coercion from Manchester United and also from Erik to withstand Ronaldo from leaving Manchester United because rumors circulating Manchester allow Ronaldo to go to Atletico Madrid on one condition, namely signing a contract extension.
Today Ronaldo seems to have returned to Manchester United to talk about his future. Ronaldo may throw away his ego to play in the champions league next season and he may listen to a little whisper from Erik to stay with Manchester United next season.
After having green signal from Manchester United management but still not having positive development from Ronaldo side is surely wired because there was chance after this all he will do this all very quickly but silent and nothing officially coming mean now he is again changing his mind and trying to settle here in this season without Champions League because most chances he is not going to compromise on salary which is also the biggest issue for Atlético Madrid.

After them no other club is having any interest in Ronaldo which is also the biggest concern for him and his agent with this all most chances he is going to stay here at Manchester United for another season or maybe until end of his career.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 26, 2022, 08:46:41 AM
of course they are, they represent the best team in Europe since they won the Euro, and I predicted that they were going to win it before it even started, even though I don't think they're the best in Europe, South America doesn't have a lot of good teams, It's only Brazil and Argentina and in my opinion they're better than Italy, just saying, I'm expecting one of them to win the world cup, this time is for Latin teams to shine, I'm guessing Brazil of course unless Argentina did a miracle.
Italy is surely one of the best soccer team in world but sadly now they are out of this event second time consistently which is the biggest shock for Italian soccer fans with this all can they win world cup or no surely all depend on if they were able to qualify in this even but right now it's no possible so no chance for them to win this event.

Currently, too much talk about who is going to win it's no easy as right now all top rank teams in good position with having some quality players but in last two decades Europeans are doing better than Latin Americans so here most chances same trend is doing to go because now quality is improving in Europe, and they are having few good teams which can win this event and take advantage.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 25, 2022, 10:03:06 PM
IPL was a long tournament and people didn't show much interest unless it reaches to the quarterfinal.
even in India people didn't have time to follow all the initial matches - there are so many teams in IPL on the other hand PSL has only 4 teams and it was far better than IPL
Why would anyone watch all the matches of the IPL? (Except it's related to their jobs)

How many times we watch all matches in the World Cup? Even hard core cricket fans don't follow every team's fixtures in the WC as they focus in high profile games, casual cricket fans only follow rivalry-matches only and so it's a same with the IPL.
As day by day life is going to be tough for many around the glob, surely no one is caring about this all and have no enough time to watch these games like me is also one of these. In last IPL I just have 3 or 4 games live on TV otherwise mostly I was busy with my schedule and have no enough time for this all because other things are more important than this all now.

Even I was hard core fan of cricket for very long time but currently economic situation is bringing us deep down very badly and just having some updates and checking on sites is good daily doze for us if IPL is increasing teams and time then surely it's profitable for organizers, and they are going to have big profit, but we have to manage this all with our timetable which is more important.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 25, 2022, 09:46:24 AM
I did not see that defeat of Alcaraz coming. He seemed to be able to easily win today, especially when you see how he easily won the previous rounds. And he was also placed 1st this tournament.
I think very few people saw this coming. For most people it was clear that Alcaraz would win the final. And now Musetti has won it. I did not see the match, I have only read the reports. And according to the reports it was an exciting match. But Musetti kept his nerve and in the end we can only congratulate him.
Yes, most of the peoples were in strong favor of Alcaraz because currently he is one of the best player and have very good record against Musette but still this is not strange because we all know any result can happen in any match with now most of the players are doing good and having quality to beat top ranked players at any court, so this happens in this.

After losing first set he fight backs very strongly but again in third set Musette was on top and break service with title for himself.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 25, 2022, 09:01:12 AM
If you end up being better than the opponent, you will still win the matches. Even because of a wrong decision by the referee. You see top teams make the difference in that, they don't need VAR to win matches. The World Cup is also getting closer and closer, after the summer holidays there are still a few matches for the Nations League in preparation and then we can start counting down.
Are you sure about this? There have been many examples in history when a referee's mistake affected the game very much and as a result, a stronger team was eliminated from the tournament. Other than that, it's obvious that there's a difference between simply being stronger than your opponent or being much stronger than your opponent in order to beat him when the referee errs in his favor. Who needs such stress?
Maybe you are right and have solid view, but I am also having too many examples from history when we have wrong decisions from referees/empires but still teams won and have trophies in their wallet even it's less than which lost due to wrong decision from referees but still exist.

Because, as we all know luck all time have good faith with brave man still this can happen because I personally watch too many events which were going with wrong decisions but still won by top class teams without any big trouble in many games like Soccer, Cricket and Field Hockey.

Right now, technology is going into positive way even going to take long time but could be good for game and sports persons.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 24, 2022, 08:59:46 PM
Next season is going to be competition among top six not the usual top 4, clubs Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea will have to up their game else Tottenham, Arsenal and Man Utd with give those three top clubs a run of their money going by the quality signings made  especially by Arsenal and Tottenham, the gunners signed Gabriel Jesus,Fabio Vieira, Oleksandr Zinchenko while Tottenham signed Clement Lenglet, Richarlison, Perisic etc, it's not going to be the usual walkover, these two clubs if eventually pick form it will be absolutely difficult to defeat them, EPL will be more competitive among those clubs and their is the possibility of an upsets in some of the matches to be play against those top clubs.
Yeah, now things are change in Premier League and most chances we are going to have very tough and entertaining competition for title between top six teams which were ruling in all transfer window in England and no other club were near to compete with them with this all few peoples feeling Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are still strong contenders for title and other three can stay in top six, but it's not easy for any team to beat each other in presence of quality players and which team is going to have good start surely going to enjoy good handicap in title race with others could be also in serious hunt which is interesting.

Arsenal is also one of the strong contenders for staying into top four as we all know they spend big amount on few players which were missing from their squad in last season so now with this they can also do much better than last season when they fail to have fourth spot.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 24, 2022, 06:31:49 AM
A lot of transfer talks going on and this is one of that's being covered quite a lot recently. Even the Marca, who are pretty reliable when it comes to spanish football have an article out about it. It will be difficult for Atletico to sign him though even with reduced wages. So, we'll have to wait and see what happens with Ronaldo. Most likely, he'll remain at United but it is pretty well noted by now that he isnt happy being there.
I was also not expecting anything about Ronaldo, but suddenly I have news that Manchester United is agreed to allow him for having his desired club for one season because they are also feeling his love about Champions League, but there is one condition which is he had to extend his contract with Manchester United for one more season with option if they qualify for Champions League he will stay there.

With this all he and his agent both are happy and now in talk with Atlético Madrid for next step because it's not easy for them to have him in his team for this they have to offload a big salary player like Griezmann which is currently part of squad and not easy for team and management to do this decision lets watch what happen now in this all situation.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Forex trading a good way of making money ? on: July 23, 2022, 01:09:15 PM
I'm only wondering what kind of information you base your trading positions on ? Would you have to be reading a lot of financial information just to make one move ? In crypto, sometimes we research a project for a few days before deciding whether to invest on it or not. And even after that, you need to keep up with the latest updates and news to avoid rug pulls and such like what happened to Terra and Celsius. I wonder how much information you'd have to process if you get deep into Forex trading ?
It's nice that you are seeking for a plan b in case plan a (cryptos) doesn't seem to work well in the next couple of months or years but I think that cryptos and forex has some similarities because both deals with currencies but the only difference is that cryptos are decentralized. If you aim for fluctuations, you are already on the right place here in cryptos. Traditions currencies are more stable so it will be hard to earn on them but the risk of losing is also small.

When trading cryptos there are technical and fundamental analyses, that people are using. Maybe you can apply the same method on forex. If you want to be more successful then you need to seek more information.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries have banned Bitcoin; Do you believe is because of criminal activities on: July 22, 2022, 05:58:01 PM
It's just a stupid excuse. Are Criminal activities stopped if they ban Bitcoin? Never. It's nothing to ban Bitcoin, they just don't want to lose control of your funds. The centralized government won't allow enjoying financial freedom. They won't allow two currencies use where they don't have control. Also, many governments from poor countries don't understand Bitcoin technology or they aren't interested.
That is what they have failed to understand, banning Bitcoin in your country does not in any way stop criminal activities. So it only goes to show how obvious the hate and frustration is, which is why they came up with the idea and then blamed it on an irrelevant reason. Most of these countries that are banning Bitcoin, their government are even the real criminals using pen and papers to steal from their treasury, now they are hating on bitcoin for no good reason.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell or keep holding HEX? already gained 50x on: July 22, 2022, 06:31:29 AM
Apart from replying to one of my posts from 1 year ago, you should have a think about how HEX pays people out.

I can't be bothered right now to look up old articles but even blockchain trails showed that indeed, money (ETH) came from new investors.

HEX was given out for free yes. But it was also sold for ETH (you know, lock ETH and get HEX). They gave much more APY for those who locked longer, but paid out a lot also... from where do you think the ETH came to pay people out?

It got a lot of flak because it was sold as a magic money for free, it was sold as Universal Basic Income, when it was nothing like a real UBI scheme should look like.

You can put on make up all you want on a pyramid scheme (no real value other than people dumping more money into it and hoping they get out before it crashes) but you just said it yourself. Put 100 DAOs, put a governance fund, put an insurance fund, add all kinds of revenues, you will still end up failing if there's no utility. Look at Terra. Look at HEX now even, over 90% away from ATH.

No Utility = not real = no value = pure speculation
Given for free but also sold for eth? That seems confusing but locking the coin and then getting paid is called staking. You mentioned something about ubi, I already heard it before in good dollar. It's a kind of crypto project but they don't have a value until now even the project was released long time ago.

Hex may not have a utility but this is still real and they have value (price) although yes they are purely based on speculation. Many are saying that the coin was a scam. That might be true. The ones that sell the coin early when it was still pumping are lucky but those who didn't, they better sell it now, when the coin still has a value.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2022, 10:40:21 PM
Frankie de Jong is a player who is admired by a lot of big clubs like Manchester united, Chelsea, the saga with Manchester has being going on for a month now and up till now there has being no resolution in the deal and it seems the price Barcelona are requesting is the major road block in the deal. If they really want to sell they should cut down their price so that clubs can negotiate and sign the player or keep him and be ready to bear his wage expenses for a further year.
Right now, things are very interested in this deal as Frankie de Jong wants to stay at Barcelona, but they are looking for deal which help them for having some debit as well which is big for having not proper deal even few days back Manchester United increased their offer but still something is still unresolved which is not going for Manchester United favor with this all most chances I am feeling he is going to stay at his club for another year and then after the end of season maybe something happened for all parties.

Few sources are having good view about this deal because I was reading on site they are feeling this will be completed in next few days because Barcelona is already some good funds, and they want to settle things in positive way for them which mean they will sell this but take time.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla: "We have converted approximately 75% of our BTC into fiat currency" on: July 21, 2022, 09:56:30 PM
I’m not really all that surprised. I’m tired of Elon having such an influence when it comes to the cryptocurrency space. Truth is the guy completely talks out of his ass when it comes to bitcoin and cryptocurrency, so maybe this means he will talk less about it. Tired of that joker.
True. I expected this as well because I remember elon hated btc for not being an environment friendly but I wonder why they only sell 75 percent of their btc wealth? Even if they sell it all, they will still be in profit because they got involved in btc long time ago. I think that was before the last year's hype.

Elon is not that active anymore when it comes to crypto talks so don't worry because I think he will completely abandon crypto soon because there are more interesting things that he will be doing than posting stuffs about cryptos which aren't really that beneficial to the majority. I just hope that this news here won't affect the small improvement of btc.
577  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin soon returns to $25K - $30K on: July 21, 2022, 08:33:52 PM
With Bitcoin's price currently in the middle of a trading range around $20K, as well as lack of clear direction as to whether price will rebound towards $30K or fall lower towards $10K, what do people think will happen if Bitcoin returns to the $25K - $30K trading range? With realized price as well as the 200WMA currently at $22K-$23K, it's likely breaking $25K would be confirmation of a local low (even if not necessarily the absolute bottom), but at the same time $30K acted as support for 18 months, suggesting it could now act as strong resistance. Therefore there could be a lot of indecision as well as volatility within this range it seems.
I choose the option a because if that happens then I think we will see a further increase in the price because I believe that there are so many lurkers here that simply waits for the price to recover a lot before they jump in investing again and I think they are also the ones that will sell early once we see a major improvement in the price, so a second option in the poll is also possible.

No OP, your question is not strange but I only find this normal although it's true that there are some who thinks that the bottom is not in yet. That is why it's also advised to wait a little bit if you are planning to buy more, so that you will get the most out of your money.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I doing the right thing on: July 21, 2022, 07:05:56 PM
How can a newbie invest in good altcoins? I know about BTC and ETH but I think I can make more money from altcoins instead of BTC and ETH, I did my research and I have a few projects in mind but I don't know if they are worthy..

Avalanche, Mina protocol, Phala network and Aleph Zero to name a few
You can use a crypto exchange such as a binance and kuckoin. Currently these two are the biggest and the most popular crypto exchange so I think they are also the most user friendly. They can support fiat, debit cards and other payment methods which a newbie can have at the moment.

Once you bought the coin you like, you can store it in secure wallet like trust wallet and metamask where you hold your private keys if you are in for long term investing. A hardware wallet can also be better if you are dealing with bigger amounts. You shouldn't ignore btc and eth since the two are the giant crypto. This should be the base of your portfolio before you consider any other coins.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the future of crypto 10 years from now. on: July 21, 2022, 06:39:26 PM
Already 10 years have passed and we can see that cryptos are doing well most especially bitcoin. As long as bitcoin is still alive and kicking, expect that the rest of the good coins are likely to perform well. I don't think there are other coins out there that are much more profitable than bitcoin. Those who promised that are obviously a scam. There are those who can pump in a short period of time but they don't last long. Btc is still profitable in the long run because it has a longer life span.

Bitcoin might come into the mainstream
Isn't btc already in the mainstream? It was adopted on so many countries and there are now countries that made btc a legal tender. The rest will have no choice but to follow this trend soon or else they will get left behind.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 20, 2022, 10:06:41 PM
Lewandoswski and Rapinha like it will be ready in this friendly match of course to test their mentality and motivation in this new club of course it will be a little different because both are very fierce rivals to be seen from every match.
Xavi will certainly test his formation and strategy I hope it's a more impressive match before LaLiga starts this match starting 24/7/2022.
Well, this afternoon I just saw the schedule for the friendly match that both sides have been waiting for. This is a very festive moment. It could be that the image of the two clubs has existed for a long time and must continue to be faced with competition with each other. Barcelona is of course much different from before, Xavi will show Barcelona's style of play with a perfect formation because from the start bringing Lewandowski has been his dream for a long time.
Honestly the 4 days left for something huge is a big deal. We are not going to see a huge difference, we are not going to see how the teams would be. We are going to end up seeing a team that is not ready at all, they both will be just relaxing and getting fit. Sure there is this underlying "el classico" feeling but it's friendly and it's not going to be anything big at all.

Hence, we shouldn't really considering this to mean anything for the rest of the season. This means, anyone who makes an outright bet based on the result of this game would be making a mistake, and I tell you that we are not going to see a little of them, we are going to end up seeing a lot of them.
