Will you continue paying dividends to your BTCINVEST holders?  Are you offering any kind of a final payoff to buyback our shares if we want to be removed from the list and receive something now?

BTCINVEST    31    1NASTYfxUpKPwin7b1KTBFjeeofrLSgXDJ

BTCINVEST holders will be getting a partial payment from Graet for Graet.Loan, please follow up with him for the specific details.

There are no immediate buyback options.

Satoshi isn't dumb enough to meet with anyone to compromise their security. So no.
564  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: September 04, 2014, 08:46:47 AM
This has been hashed out (not supposed to be a pun) so much that even the terms of service for Zenpool lay out that Hashlets are virtual items that will never mine an outside pool, but only track other pool's payouts.

That hasn't been said. The TOS states that you can't demand mining at that pool but that they at least will reimburse what you would've mined there if they hadn't in your case. Doesn't say they DON'T mine. Just says they don't have to.
Like rdyoung said, legal reasons.
Of course they don't mine, they have sold as much hashpower as the entire Scrypt network.

Stop being a moron, it's a difficulty derivative. You're not paying for miners.
565  Economy / Scam Accusations / User NWO = opportunist scammer on: September 04, 2014, 08:22:55 AM
Copied from trust feedback. Comments about me will be ignored.

------

Do not trade with. NWO has agreed to trade the two domain names, RippleLabs.net and RippleLabs.org for the price of 6 BTC for both domain names. Despite accepting the deal and accepting the money.

TradeFortress: "I'm happy to continue if we lock in RippleLabs.net + RippleLabs.org for 6 BTC."

NWO: "Both domains are yours, price and ownership is locked in."

NWO breached the contract when OpenCoin has made a higher offer and refused to return the 6 BTC.

Not sure how this will turn out, but ask TradeFortress anything Smiley (instead of polluting all the threads I reply to.)

I always wondered what your favourite ice cream flavour was. I always imagined you as some kind of lemon person, but please indulge me and shed some light on this mystery Smiley

lol Cheesy

I like mint choc chip ice cream, if it's not too minty.

Why do you still linger around here? What is your purpose now? You seem to just like to antagonize people and it verges on trolling sometimes, though other times you also have some good input.
Thank you, an actual question! I'm still lingering around here because I'm still interested in Bitcoin, and what's happening with it and the community. It's not my intention to antagonize people (most of the time), although my style may result in people seeing it as trolling.

The reasons that have bought me into Bitcoin (namely, a decentralized way to send money, and be your own bank) has not changed. I'm still interested in Bitcoin.

Would you able to repay partially of the owed Bitcoin or any plan to do so in a spanned timeframe?

Do you plan on paying back the people who trusted you and how?

When/if ASICMINER resumes dividends again, I'll be able to repay more. I do not have the funds to, and are not repaying people generally. I may choose to pay people personally as earlier on in this thread.

Also, 001sonkit you seem to be under the assumption that providing hashes of your password allows authentication of your account. Passwords were of course hashed and salted, not stored in plaintext.

Mods can accept bribes?  Sounds great!  How do I get to be a mod then?

Forgot to answer this.

Bribes obviously.

I'm upset that nobody offer me any bribe. Embarrassed
You mean the bonus payment from your signature, solely based on you being a staff member, isn't a bribe? Wink

What is it.. a political donation? Roll Eyes If it seems like a bribe, it is a bribe.

If only they stopped drinking UI kool-aid and paid attention to the functionality?
If only TradeFortress would pay back his debt on Coinlenders.

AsQuestion(Hello. You didn't officially end the IO signature campaign before my succeeding month was up, while I kept the signature in until the next pay date. Given the campaign was not explicitly launched by any registered company, I'd assume it was DBA and that you're personally liable until proof of bankruptcy grant is provided. You owe me .4BTC. I thought I'd be the most appropriate person to bring this up. ... Tongue)

Bitcoin was trading for around ~$200 back then. I'm not rich (despite what some people think), and can't afford paying everyone, and definitely not paying everyone at current rates.

Bitstamp last: $504
0.4 * (200/504) = 0.1587 BTC

It has been explained few pages back. But if you think it is possible, let us know your solution (we need detailed technical solution that is possible to be realized according to existing limitations of mining software and targeting pools).

578  Other / Meta / Re: It Is Not Against Forum Rules For Users To Post Your Personal Information Here! on: August 25, 2014, 09:39:21 AM
The reason that I am asking, which I am sure you will grasp, is that there appears to be unfair selective enforcement of the rules.

Why are you so interested in seeing Theymos dox being public?

Just curious.

~BCX~

I've previously had the impression of this forum sticking true to it's 'principles of free speech'. (This is from theymos, not me). The forum has always very very rarely modified anything in Scam Accusations. It seems that some administrators forget these principles when it is convenient for them, which they do have the power to do, but they shouldn't pretend that such principles apply in practice.

Oh, and theymos's dox is in plenty of places.
579  Other / Meta / Re: Policy on Mods accepting bribes on: August 25, 2014, 09:23:12 AM
Hey ACCTseller, ignore BitcoinExpress. He's using a common technique of deriding forum conversations, and that's by trying to turn the conversation away from the issue, and onto the people who makes the issues. It's very common -- see Julian Assange and supposed 'sexual assault', see Edward Snowden and 'russian spy', etc etc.

Don't fall for it. Ignore the moment you recognize someone is attempting this technique.

Quote
This is according to YOU, but you cannot speak for everyone. I can argue the other position, where a staff's account name, avatar, and sig are more noticed by the general public compared to a regular account in the same rank. So even though sig displays don't have more privileges, the overall account and status gets them more attention, regardless of what they post. So in this sense, it is a valid business decision to pay staff more.

Um, no. What you say may hold weight, however Stunna has closed registrations for everyone but Staff members. If he is interested in getting more signature visibility, he would open it to everyone (and if demand > supply, decrease prices paid). The fact that he has closed enrollment for new members implies that he's not looking for more exposure for PrimeDice, but wants to have more staff on his payroll.

If you cannot see a problem with the latter, please concede your claim that this is a reasonable business decision (w/o considering benefits from paying staff), then we can argue that point specially.

And yes: every issue is made based on specific cases. Legal questions about the death penalty, abortion, constitutional are decided with a specific case involving two parties. Same concept in this case, and this belongs in meta.
580  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] SaveYourBitcoins.com on: August 24, 2014, 12:59:53 AM
Looks like he has scammed at least one other person in the past...   Undecided

I've left him negative feedback, so hopefully no one else trades with him.

Congrats, you've left negative feedback on a scammer for once, instead of leaving negative feedback on people you suspect to be scammers based on very circumstantial evidence with around a ~50% false positive rate.
