Had not heard of it :-) I just saw that Natmin is also listed here: https://tokenjar.io/NATSo already 2 Exchanges although the ICO is still running Wow. I have not seen the official information about this second exchange. Are they going to list it or its already listed? This is great that they are pursuing exchanges early on the only thing I am worried about is that this might spread volume on smaller exchanges which maybe not be the best way to go when you are newly listed? |

For those who were wondering why Manila and the 3000 cabs. The reason they chose Manila is because of the potential it has and all the taxi drivers signed own their own cabs and are officially registered as cab drivers in the Philippines. They do not sign non official drivers.
That's true. I'm from Manila Philippines and we have a lot of cabs and taxi drivers here that they can hired for their services. Most of us also really like using these kinds of apps like to ubers and other similar companies. That's really nice to see that Tachain wants to go with only registered drivers. But many other countries also do verification of drivers. So there must be some other benefits as well. Most platforms use verification, that’s alroght, but the rating system of TAChain seems more important to taxi users. I get to choose what taxi driver is the best available while the drivers would take care of the users to get a better rating. Yes but according to the whitepaper the driver can also rate the passenger and that should be there too as some passengers can really be a pain. Hope taxi drivers and passengers don't come to. Mutual agreement and give each other good rating. That will be drawbacks of this system. I mentioned this earlier there might be flaws in the rating system here. I am looking for how they are going to fix this. They need to track if there are two much incident where both taxi driver and passenger giving high ratings to each other's. Based on that they can take action. Well both have to work for it. I don't think the passenger would be giving a good rating if his rate was terrible regardless of the reward. Just like how Uber is. Every driver strives to deliver the best riding experience some even give out cookies. My point is that there are easy means to get rating and cheating your way is not the best way about. You mean to say taxi driver giving out cookies? Well there are many in my country including Uber, but there was no one giving away any kind of cookies or chocolates: ( tough luck mate; I've actually came across various who give away things. I would imagine tachain could do an incredible marketing if they gave drivers a branded items to give to passengers. I think this could be quite effective. Fees will probably be an huge part of people’s decision beyond just the security of the escrow service which should be most important but fees will definitly be a huge part of it
Fair point, this isn't being offered for free. Security is a huge aspect but many of the leading sites etc do not operate in Escrow. Whilst it adds another layer of security, fees will be crucial But Natmin team already mentioned that they will charge just 1% fees. 3% is fees if there is any dispute. I don't know how much others charging, but it seems Natmin charging low fees. Decentralised platform is added advantage for Natmin. People will like to use, secure and globally available platform instead of local one. Fees will not be a issue here, it's already low. Well from my understanding they are fully decentralized because of the smart contracts. As far as i know there is no off chain for the core proposition. Everything is to be handled through the smart contracts. |

Exactly....but they keep saying our team is always studying what is best to use and we will purchase it then....No, that is not a good enough answer, you need to give us plan B for when you have the money to purchase asics which ones will they purchase when nothing is remotely worth buying. Yes I would also like to see Securix announce a plan B, it's difficult though as others have mentioned previously, SHA miners are no longer as profitable as they used to be. They need a fallback plan. Developing a new technology for their energy consumption will be difficult they can use existing technologies that are commonly used. From my understanding they will be buying it off cheap since it is green energy; That usually does not cost to generate hence is cheap to buy. I think the challenge is when bitcoin's price goes below their set numbers which is likely. I understand that there is a pool in place but the pool can sustain a certain period only. |

Guys, I just observed one thing at Natmin site. They are offering 20000 Natmin tokens for 1 ETH. So I want to confirm if the token price is fixed in ETH or USD?
Price is fixed in ETH if you look in their Whitepaper at page 19 you can see that it says "the price is set to 1 ETH = 20,000 NAT" i think this is very profitable for early investors as ETH is very low right now. Along side you will get a 10% bonus if you purchase the token now. That's like 2000 tokens untop the original 20000 token, making it 14000 tokens for 1 eth. Amazing isn't it. 10% bonus tokens on purchase. In-short we will get 2000 tokens in bonus when we make a purchase. It's really awesome deal. 10% bonus is really a good one from Natmin, this will reduce the level of dumping at the time of exchange listing. The 10 percentage bonus is perfect. Or maybe people are going to dump more ? Lets hope for the best, and that there will be not a lot of dumping. For me the bonus is alright. It is not too low. There usually always is a dump at the beginning but i think the project has a strategy to prevent that from happening some projects give rewards if you hold their tokens. It is more like a trend unless the token is hard to find like in cases where the ICO sells way before its deadline. I personally think the best way to sustain volume and price is through traction. |

I think the Tachain team did its due research before kicking off after all. It would be nice to get a progress update from someone in the area to see if they have heard anything about Tachain, and to check if they have seen any advertisements for their service! One thing one should keep in mind is that they only allow official cabs so this makes it hard for uber to compete in some scenarios assuming of course the app would be a selling point. |

On the dispute resolution, I see that there’s a cost for that. An additional 3% transaction cost of there’s a dispute. I think that’s a lot. Especially when the the compliant isn’t at fault. I understand thats to reduce unnecessary compliant. Would this cost be adjusted?
I think it will be better to say that the guilty party is to bear the cost of the dispute fee that way, that way, the innocent one is left out of the expenses My take is that anything in a business can change. You need to be flexible to change what does not work. I too think it is a lot for a dispute but I think we will get to the result of that when there is traction and actual disputes. Also you have to compare it to other competition. |

Are they actually promising over 100% returns? I think they were using that as an example from the ROI calculator of what the maximum returns could be.. I'm not certain on this but I think that's the case. Yea, that was made as an example and i remember stating that a project should only offer what they can afford, i mean, be realistic, so that when things go south, they can easily adjust themselves to be able to accommodate the issue till such period phase out, its not right for a project to state what they can't afford in the bid of seeking for investors Well if anyone had gone through the telegram group and speak with the team you will come to the understanding that whatever claim is here ain't tentative yet, the team have said that calculation ain't fixed so I see no reason why we should bother ourselves right now with any form of mathematics I always find roi to be a joke theirs always too many unknowns for any company to account for it’s like buying Apple stock and expecting Apple to tell you how much it will be worth not 5 years If that is true; I mean if it was promised a 100% returns then I don't think that is a legal thing to do. Testing, Testing, Testing, Testing, and more testing. We have at least 3 months of testing between each release. For example; there will be 3 months of testing between alpha and beta release. 6 months of testing between beta and production release. We will implement a bug bounty as well as security audits on the smart contracts. the 6 months of testing will involve the public or it is going to be private testing? For the audit of smart contracts will you be signing up a third party? |
