I mined some coins but I bought the bulk when it was around 500 sat not 5000. I didn't mean 2600 I meant 26,000 sat. Cool, same here (bought from 1200 all the way down and back up - even got 20K at the 'magical' 450 sat point). I think in that case you definitely should be taking some profits - in fact you should have already taken some at much higher levels - but I think we all wish we'd have cashed out more heavily on the 90K run... if for no other reason than to buy many more the next day at a 90% discount. If only market timing could be perfect we'd all be rich! Well, except for the fact that then there wouldn't be anyone to sell to on the peaks, and no one to buy from on the dips. So I guess we have to be happy with the fact that there will always be winners and losers - and just strive to be on the winning side more than half the time!  Hindsight is 20/20. Other altcoins have shot up to $50 million market cap before collapsing. |

BC should add counterparty as well.
I was also thinking counterparty could be a good fit for blackcoin. Probably not now, but when blackcoin is further along. im not familiar with this , what is it exactly? It's basically a metacoin that runs on top of bitcoin. Bitcoins were burned to create counterparty tokens. It adds 2nd generation functionality that allows a decentralized exchange. ( https://www.counterparty.co/) In theory it could be moved from bitcoin onto blackcoin, that would allow counterparty to take advantage of the extra speed (at least I think so). Even simpler words then that please. I read about Counterparty but never figured out what the point is. Why do I need it if I have BTC? |

I don't know  So what is your opinion on the state of BC? I was reading the coindesk article about the PR thing, and there is this draft about they're marketing plan, this jumped to my eyes: "Reach: 10,000,000 - 20,000,000" Obviously if they are able to make this reach a reality there is going to be a huge spike, but another obvious thing is that the whales will be ready for lunch... I doubt this reach is a realistic estimation Only time will tell.. It could attract larger whales. Everyone is always "Whale this" or "Whale that" but I bet some whales are huge losers. Everyone just assume these whales make perfect market moves everytime. |

How do you know these wallets have never been staked?
Because staking transactions appear in the blockchain? Sorry, I guess I don't know what you mean. You can check all of the transactions of any address to see which addresses paid into them and on which dates... They were filled on the 13th and 24th of April, and then the transaction difference spent back (in one case incorrectly, leaving an additional balance of .005) - they have since not been touched one way or another. I have no proof that this is MintPal's cold wallets... it could be a single massive investor with a bad case of OCD... but whoever it is hasn't touched those coins since they were first transferred. Maybe they're IE's group... maybe the 'evil empire' who knows... they're certainly not being used to pump or dump anything right now however - that much is provable simply by reading the chain. the first 20 adresses in richlist owns over 30millions BC!!! that is not a good thing...sorry.the big holder have to support the foundation in the next few weeks or i cant trust this coin anymore.
you should not forget that the exchanges have wallets, hmm? Does anyone know how much coins are on exchanges est.? Based on observation and conjecture (I'm not directly involved with either) I would say that the top 3 addresses are MintPal cold wallets... the ones that are an even 3M each and the one that's 2.3M currently. That's because they filled during the big volume run-up at MintPal, and Jay has stated that they always keep the majority of their coins in cold storage.
Note that these wallets have never been staked which is different from the wallets at Cryptsy (though I'm not sure which those are as I don't know their size and as they stake their wallets - it's not visibly different from any other large BC holder). 2) And before you compare to BC, if we did a BC style surge (and that was a surge) cinni would be at 400k...
1) You answered your own question as to why some people may think that Cinni is a mega pump. 2) Your math is wrong. There are currently ~5X as many BC as Cinni. So assuming they have the same intrinsic value today, Cinni should be priced at 150k sats. He's comparing BC at 90K which would put Cinni at 450K. |
