581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: January 06, 2024, 12:16:42 PM
Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ?

I think we can only make it happen if we won in a lottery. Let's admit it, most of us are losers in the long run, so we have to chance to win in the long run, but if we are lucky, we could bet on lottery and enjoy that winning.

Quote
If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?
I'm not really up to living a lavish life, so I think $500 thousand is enough for me. Of course, I will still grow that amount and will surely invest into business. I wan't to retire that is fulfilled that money will be working for me, instead of me working for money.

I can imagine this and it's really good to think this way. But I'm not so optimistic it will happen, but if it will be given to me, I will gladly take it.
I hope there are someone here who really had retired in gambling but not in bitcoin, so he/she could share his/her experience.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many individual holders of Bitcoin are there? on: January 05, 2024, 11:54:12 PM
Is there some metric or study somewhere that could let us know how many individuals (individual humans) currently hold Bitcoin as an asset? Are there any metrics that could approximate the number? Estimate change over time?

I would think this would be a key metric in understanding the market.
Unfortunately, there is no way you can tell the number of hodlers all over the world. You can tell how many addresses are there but you will never know how many addresses each hodler used. So there would be no certain strategy that will help us know the actual amount of hodlers.

However, I don't see any significance why you should know how many individual holders are there. Privacy should be given to each of them so we should not go deep with that. One thing is certain, the amount of holders is less than the amount of addresses as there are holders who are actually using more than one address.
583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking for funded traders to trade with my capital on: January 05, 2024, 10:52:38 PM
Im looking for traders who will trade with my capital and instructions.
You will be using my funds and trade according with my method.

Anyone interested ? And you will be paying my share every week to me or 2 weekly how i want.
You need to have some experince Im not gona teach you basics so i hope to find some good partners.

Thank you !
It's hard to find traders these days that are actually have high knowledge in trading, because for sure those who are skillful ones will not waste their time trading using other funds but they will prioritize their own trades and take full control of their profits. So the best option here is learn how to trade on your own so you can make use of your funds and double or triple your future profits.

My point here is since you are making your own instructions to trade, then use it to your own advantage. While not everyone is gifted with trading skills, but it's a sure thing that everyone can learn trading and maximize its potentials to the best of its abilities and capabilities.
584  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just a reminder. Don't lose yourself in the process. on: January 05, 2024, 10:21:05 PM
Where there is high greed, losing yourself in the process is what follows next. So if one cannot be greedy, that will be a lot better so that he can manage and balance his life and not just focused on money and profits, that he tends to forgot the most important thing in life, that is to still be thankful despite of not having too much and enjoy life even with the simple things around.

The best days in life are not actually those when you find riches in life like bitcoin and other assets, but it's actually those you can live with joy and satisfaction even without multi source of assets that will generate profits.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 05, 2024, 07:26:54 PM
I always look up to those people who never get tired of fulfilling their life with their goals and admirations in life. Like the one who keeps stacking bitcoin as much as he can. But somehow, I have this feeling that if our minds are totally engrossed with buying bitcoin,  then most likely we may end up forgetting that there's a life we need to live and enjoy, that even bitcoin cannot provide for us. Hence, having bitcoin is a lot important but it can never guarantee life's satisfaction and happiness.

Bitcoin may be our everything right now but in order to live life to the simplest and fullest, we should also learn to live life that is not reliant to bitcoin. By simply living with the most important thing in the world, that is having family that binds us with love and simple happiness in life.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 05, 2024, 02:38:25 AM
If the Lakers go bad like this, it seems like the Clippers will come to mind when Los Angeles is mentioned 🤔
Miami may not be a bad team, but they lost to Utah and the Clippers in their 3-game away series, but they beat the Lakers.
In the Lakers' Miami match, LeBron James appeared to be far from the contribution he should have made. Maybe he made 9 assists, but the 12 points he scored caused the loss.
In Miami, 8 players scored in double figures and although Anthony Davis was the top scorer of the match, Miami won the match 96-110.
With this result, the Lakers suffered their 3rd consecutive loss. He will play at home against Memphis on Saturday. If he loses this game, the next game will be the Clippers game and that game will be very difficult anyway.

It's unusual to see LeBron score only 12 points in a game. It was clearly a bad day for him, as he couldn't make most of his shots.
Anyway, the Lakers need to find the reason for their failures and make adjustments to their performance as soon as possible. Otherwise, even an underdog team like the Pistons will be a tough opponent for them.

That was his lowest output this season for sure. So I checked some of his lowest scoring, and it seems like the last time he scored 12 points was way back 2015. (https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/lowest-scoring-games-by-the-lebron-james).. So this is really an off night for him. Although his shooting is quite acceptable, just 30% or 6/18 but it's very unusual for him that he didn't have any free throw in this game.
587  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: January 05, 2024, 02:16:14 AM
For me the casino doesn't really care about its users, $2000 may be a little for professional players but for me it's enough for investment in other instruments Grin. Kyc is finally mentioned during the withdrawal process even though the initial deposit did not require it, ah it's the same option in general, maybe it's tricky.
It's not actuall tricky, it is only is if they don't put it in the TOS and later they implement it. However, as we sign on the gambling site and as we read the TOS, you can certainly see that there's a KYC requirement being part of it. Either they implement it sooner or later, that's up to them and we gamblers has to comply with it if we want to continue using their service.

I have read several websites like this, including choosing kyc or even having to bet several times on several games even though the capital ended up running out Cheesy. recognize before depositing on a platform especially suspicious before it is already and will just intend to move to another platform, of course it is better than arguing with customer service on live chat even though it is very fast to respond, there is no point. They guide for technical not to exit with the full funds without additional tasks Cheesy. if you have played sometimes forget and are trial and error there will forget about withdrawing and continuing the game, what is the strategy Cheesy

As a gambler we all have to be responsible, with this things happening and we've seen lots of complaints that in the end it's still the user's fault. I hope it should teach us how to be responsible, it will guide us that KYC does exist, and no gambling site that doesn't require KYC for a non KYC site, because there is, your money is at high risk of losing.

Are this 10 winning bets requirement only covered winnings from Jan 3 (contest start date) to the end of this contest?
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually think a Bitcoin ETF will be accepted this month? on: January 04, 2024, 11:59:49 PM
Well, I was very positive last year that bitcoin ETF will be finally approved, but upon seeing a lot of news circulating online, I think bitcoin ETF will not be approved this time, or it may have the chances to be approve but in the later part. And whatever the outcome of the price of bitcoin due to disapproval if ever, I won’t be totally affected since I still focus on my goal on hodling bitcoin for long term. Bitcoin will still be bitcoin no matter what, it’s potentials to keep on surging will always be there, but only needs perfect timing for it to be done.

591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: January 04, 2024, 10:51:09 PM
If you trade simply relying on YouTube completely, you will really get burn with trading and end up like gambling. Most especially if we talk about futures trading, the risk to lose is high particularly if you apply leverage trading. That’s the reason why futures trading is not recommended for newbies or for those who have no enough trading experiences. Not only it will make you lose huge amount of capital, but it will also make you regret why you resort into futures trading when you can safely invest and hold long term.

However, we don’t hold the decision to every trader who wishes to take part in futures trading. But as long as one gets to trade cautiously, and knows exactly how to manage the risk in futures, then I guess it’s still fine to trade with futures as long as he’ll ready himself for future big losses.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: The Jim Cramer affect on Bitcoin.... on: January 04, 2024, 02:10:50 PM
Jim has this awful reputation in case you didn't know. Basically everything he says the opposite happens. They even made the reverse Cramer ETF lmao. Now the worst has happened and he has said BTC is going to the moon! I hope BTC is strong enough to weather this storm lmao..... https://twitter.com/WatcherGuru/status/1742574566948446441?t=Lq4TuNvvT4-l10UF_UKYqg&s=19
He’s right when he said bitcoin is going to the moon, but the problem is when it will start taking place? For now, the rumors that has been circulating around about the upcoming rejection of bitcoin spot ETF proposals is very popular so most probably, if it’s really going to happen, hence bitcoin price will immediately suffer an instant price decline.

However, there’s no wrong with that since bitcoin is highly volatile and we can expect any price drop from time to time, but instead of seeing it as a threat, we can transform it into a major advantage for us so we can maximize buying bitcoin again in preparation for bitcoin halving. So there’s really no problem if Jim Cramer prediction will be an irony of what’s going to happen. At least, we know bitcoin price will eventually recover after couple of days or months. This is not new anymore so we should not be over affected with this.

593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rollercoaster of emotions. How to deal with? on: January 04, 2024, 01:25:46 PM
It’s normal for a newbie to feel like that, having the fear to lose and to overcome roller coaster emotions due to bitcoin’s volatility. But believe me, experience will help you manage your emotions and live life with balance. If it means losing at first also you will have something to learn, then so be it, face your losses but still continue to invest while harnessing your knowledge and skills. And invest within your means, like 3-5% of your monthly income so that if things do not go based on plan, then losing your capital won’t be a big issue for you.

However, know that emotions become our best enemy when we invest or trade. It’s really hard to control our emotions most especially in times of winning or losing, but having often exposure on the market, you will learn to slowly control your emotions so you can focus on your goal or target why you invest in bitcoin in the first place.
594  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com - $1,000 USD + 20 FS Welcome Package - 24/7 Support - Weekly Race 🤑 on: January 04, 2024, 06:58:47 AM
I'm just amazed that I could see a big multiplier like this because honestly, this is my first time to see it when I'm the one playing

Well how does it feel to actually click the cash out button manually? normally on crash competition like this, there are autobets which really helps us to cash out at specific crash point but on SpaceXY its totally different. Not to mention that its pretty hard to actually hit the exact multiplier that we want to because its quite laggy, not sure if this only on my end but yeah its laggy compared to other crash game

I regret it a bit.  Grin

But a win is still a win, so I'm thankful I hit that multiplier although not really my target. I don't know, I maybe panic a bit because I was thinking that it could crash anytime soon. Should have waited a big and be more patient. After that, I tried again, but unfortunately I didn't see that high multiplier again and I lose all my balance.
595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Achieving a goal on: January 03, 2024, 11:56:29 PM
If you can’t afford to lose the whole amount of your capital, then try to reduce it and only invest on what you are comfortable of losing. Investing in bitcoin and holding it for long term still do not guarantee profits if you are not patient enough to hold. Know your investment and know the reason why you are supposed to hold for long term. And once you invest, just try to forget your investment for a couple of years and stop monitoring bitcoin price. That way, you won’t be pressured if ever there’s a market crash and you won’t push yourself to sell early and sell at a low price.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Habits that can lead to your financial failure in 2024 on: January 03, 2024, 11:34:39 PM
Having the inability to control spending is probably the most reason why people don’t succeed financially. People focus more on satisfying their wants instead of sticking to their basic needs so they can still save up for their future. The outcome is they always run out of their budget and end up buried with their debts.

If this attitude will not be changed, financial failure will certainly be the end result. And having consistent financial failure will lead into emotional and mental damage until that certain person decides to end his life if he will not be properly guided by the people around.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2024, 07:48:56 PM
Your funds might be at risk by then if he can open your wallet. My only advice is don't invest blindly and don't trust strangers when it comes to your money and investment. Surely, he's only taking advantage of your ignorance and has definitely plan to scam you if you let him access your wallet.

It's like you really have no idea investing in bitcoin. With that, don't invest when you're not ready yet. Gain more knowledge and experience first in the market before you enter bitcoin investment. If you think you're good enough, invest at your own risk. Put an amount that you can afford to lose, not too big and not too small either. And lastly, never entrust your investment to other people. Work on your own investment without relying from other people. Experience will be your best teacher so learn on your own through your initial experience in the market.

I'm currently playing SPACEXY to try to win the contest, LOL.. It's just so sad because I cash out early even though my target hasn't hit yet.

I'm just amazed that I could see a big multiplier like this because honestly, this is my first time to see it when I'm the one playing

599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 03, 2024, 07:02:54 AM
Buying more as long as you can afford to throw that money is fine. However, if you are buying more and you try to believe that it will help you increase your chances of winning more, that's a wrong perception. They say that buying lottery ticket is just like flushing money to the toilet, so we should never consider to take it as a serious business.

Remember that lottery has its purpose especially since that one is run by state, proceeds will be use for the development of the country, so buying a lottery is a way of supporting that mission. Don't expect much, just play for fun ,if you are lucky you will, but it buying more doesn't change your luck.
