Don't try to shame me for what I may have written in the past about a different subject, it won't work, and only shows your bullying tactics.

I still stand by what I wrote then, as I assume responsibility for what I'm writing at this moment.

So we cant bring this up either, when the next ponzi collapses and you say 'there is no proof', 'be patient', 'could be blackmail' blah blah blah ?
After how many collapsed ponzi's that you denied,  do you think its fair to bring this up ?

Quote
It's called presumption of innocence, and I strongly believe in that foundation of a justice system which does not degenerate into mob rule.

We're not in a court of law. We're talking about investments here, and  particularly when it comes to btc, presumption of innocence is just a fancy word for foolishness and failure to do due diligence. Do you presume the Nigerian prince  who emailed you saying he inherited a multi million dollar gold concession to be honest and innocent, or do you assume, like any other sane person, even without any proof, that he is a scammer?

Quote
If you have evidence (not speculation/amalgame/etc) to back up a claim of malfeasance, bring it up. Otherwise, refrain from baseless accusations, this is called libel.

You find all the proof needed for investing in the link in my signature.
THe proof needed to put Jason behind bars will have to come from the prosecutor.

ok Ill bite.

Sounds strange, doesn't it, that a Christian would like to see a plausible evolution process?

Ever heard of antibiotics and bacteria getting increasingly resistant to it?
Ever seen a dog?
There is evolution for you. Back to ignore you go.

Has anyone done business with KnightsofTheSatoshi cloud mining?
The thread isn't very active:

AT first glance it looks like it might have been legit, but obsolete with that pricing.

I add your signature in my profile Smiley

Congrats, you're now the proud owner of 10TH worth of Masters Cub cloudy mining :p.

And on to the next ponzi we go.
Does your definition of a Ponzi includes honest admission by the "scammer" that he is in a dire situation and efforts to recover ?

You mean like Pirate made "honest" admissions, was in a dire situation and made efforts to recover? Paid out some accounts even ? You mean like Patrick harnett, usagi,  Neo Bee, BT trader and 33455 previous ponzi's that all did the exact same thing?

A ponzi is not defined by how the scammer tries to win time or  talk himself out of his scam once it collapsed, its defined by how it begins as a scam that has no internal revenue to sustain the promised payouts.

BTW, didnt lunamine claim being blackmailed too?  Wait, they did, and you fell for it too:

Personally, I'm still not convinced lunamine is a scammer
..
So, lunamine, since you are probably reading this, have some courage and say whatever happened. If you are victim of some "blackmail", then please do know that the best answer to blackmail is to make the information public : blackmail then loses all leverage. This would be much better than to let your reputation, and people's willingness to grant you the benefit of doubt, go to shambles.
586  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 15, 2014, 06:58:40 PM
Im not up to speed with gaw jargon or even how their stuff is supposed to work, Ive just seen enough to know I should steer clear. I would still like to get understandable updates on how this is progressing/collapsing. Is there a "GAW for dummies who are not dumb" somewhere? I mean, without the marketing and hype bullshit?
587  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will there ever be a password manager safe from keyloggers? on: December 15, 2014, 06:54:12 PM
I would be more worried about Google, etc, especially if you use Chrome.

Use chromium then.  But thats not gonna help against keyloggers, to make that only a remote possibility, switch to an opensource OS.

I think he just tries to convince himself

Its like the  umpty-umpth time Ive seen this movie. Its getting boring. Warning, spoilers ahead:

- Obvious ponzi launches.
- Attracts hordes of fans/shills/sign beggars/ponzi pushers that post 'I have been paid, therefore its legit'
- People with common sense point out the obvious (duh, its a yet another ponzi)
- People who lack common sense or pretend to lack it, repeat ad nauseam "you cant prove its a ponzi"  and come up with the most creative and outrageous explanations for how it could work.  This is actually pretty neat for any scammer, dont bother writing an explanation for how you generate impossible profits, people will fill in the blanks for you.
- Ponzi collapses and Kübler-Ross model sets in in at varying speeds for different people: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Many still seem stuck in phase 1.

And on to the next ponzi we go.

589  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting theymos to remove CanaryInTheMine from DefaultTrust on: December 15, 2014, 02:50:51 PM
Gonna side with notlambshop on this one. First, lets wiki the term troll:

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4]

By that definition, one might consider his colorful language trollish, but he's a troll you better listen to when the "normal on-topic discussion" is a circle jerk over some (usually soon to be worthless) security.  I dont think that warrants negative trust.
590  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ghash.io Secrets they do not want you to know about on: December 15, 2014, 12:44:20 PM
Here, have a look:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=744303.msg8884930#msg8884930

Thats me predicting the net value of this contracts hitting zero this summer. The only reason it didnt go to zero back in september is because cex.io volountarily lowered its fees, twice apparently. They didnt have to do that.

If I could predict the value of these contracts was heading to zero, why couldnt you?
591  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ghash.io Secrets they do not want you to know about on: December 15, 2014, 12:33:50 PM
Ok lets clear some stuff up, First i live in the Philippines, second we have the MOST EXPENSIVE electricity in the world up to $0.38 USD per KWh and if my mining machines can still make double what i pay for electric please explain  your description.

Your math is wrong then, what you say is simply not possible with current equipment. You'd need ~0.4J/GH efficiency just to break even with your prices and 0.2J/GH to achieve what you claim. No hardware on the market comes close to that.

Quote
The problem is this excuse that is EXACTLY like the one Ghash Uses (also why you did not receive the email)

Its not an "excuse". They clearly list their maintenance fees. They are $0.105 per GH per month, down from $0.18 originally.
And yes, if you work that out, that means there is barely any mining profit. Theoretically 1GH should yield  3770 satoshi or $0.126 per month, but during an unlucky week you'd expect yield - fees  to go negative. Ive been saying that for 6+ months. .Why people bid the idiotic prices they once did, and still pay 0.0015btc/GH is beyond me, but thats the market price, you cant blame cex.io for that. They dont set the prices, you do.

Quote
Maintenance fees should be a flat rate not based upon shares submitted,

They are.

cex.io/maintenance
592  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ghash.io Secrets they do not want you to know about on: December 14, 2014, 03:21:35 PM
Well then explain how anyone can ethically give you a negative reward on cloud mining?

Because the fees > mining reward.
Fees are function of BTC exchange rate since they are expressed in dollars.
Mining reward is function of difficulty and luck.

That rewards could approach zero or even go negative was predictable and predicted last spring. That the price per share is still very far from ~zero (where it should be), is not cex.io's fault, the price floats freely and is solely determined by supply and demand, ie,  people like you who bid or buy without knowing what they are buying.

None of this makes cex.io a scam.
593  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ghash.io Secrets they do not want you to know about on: December 14, 2014, 01:11:43 PM
Feel free to send it to me. ATM, I rated cex.io nearly top scores for the simple reason that to my knowledge, they have always complied with their contracts and they fulfill nearly all the criteria Ive set for cloudmining companies.

If thats incorrect, I would certainly want to learn about it.

Ive been getting several requests for a tip jar. I didnt want to do this to avoid the impression I'm doing this for personal gain.
But since the ponzi pushers turned that argument around by saying it proves Im shilling for whatever company complies with my criteria, I might as well post an address.

Anything I receive on that address will be used to further this cause, like doing signature campaigns to raise awareness.

599  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DO NOT BUY OR SELL PBMINING ACCOUNTS on: December 14, 2014, 09:44:21 AM
People are trying to cut their losses, at the expence of their fellow bitcoiners, or noobs, I find it shamefull

Its no different than trying to make a profit, 'at the expense of their fellow bitcoiners, or noobs'. Which is precisely what investing in a ponzi is.
Or for that matter, promoting one through paid signatures and the like.

Jason's (ex?) girlfriend's facebook page was just updated. Cover photo changed to one which doesnt include jason, and no longer shows being "in relationship".

Thing to keep in mind, the house Jason and Melissa lived in is owned by her parents. So its probably safe to assume Jason's current whereabouts are unknown.
